Kazaam – :
I received this over the weekend and tried it twice; once on my wrist and once on my forearm. Both times I had to scrub it off. It opens okay, a bit like a fruit-infused hairspray, and then it dries down to fruity cigarette ashes. Very strange. The only fruit I could really pinpoint at first was the cherry, even my kids commented nicely on it, but it sadly doesn’t last. Don’t let the notes fool you either, it’s a very…mature scent. Almost a fruity-aldehyde, but judging by the notes, I have no idea where aldehyde would come from. There’s just this pestering cigarette ash smell that won’t go away. Maybe it’s just my skin. I saw on the Russian Fragrantica site that it’s compared to Cartier Delices, but if memory serves me right, I’m not able to make the same comparison.
Longevity is very long, but of course, as with any scent that one doesn’t like, it seems to never go away!
Update: I gave it to my mom, and I regret it terribly. She wore it over Thanksgiving and I had to hold my breath every time she got close. It was so strong! And it still had that fruity floral ashes smell.
