Not much to say that hasn’t already been said. I have a vintage CH men. This is 98% similar. Maybe the CH has a little more green in the opening. Drydown no difference. This cat knows what he is doing. I find myself worrying that he is gonna get hired at some designer house before i get a chance to buy everything i want. Whicg is about 30 bottles at this point. Haha. But i love the 3 i have. And all 7 samples ive tried.

A little less green grassy/cucumber in the opening, but strikingly similar to CH, and performs very well.
It would be full bottle worthy for anyone who really enjoys CH. Personally, I sold my CH a year or so back, but Sweet Suede is really tempting.

Coasterfan, by the looks of it, you seem to be the ONLY one who says this about his offerings, his brand has been a massive success and every house will always have their negative feedback, no house is perfect but I doubt very much anyone will listen to you anwyay as I said you comments do come across like trolling since you are the only one to have said anything bad, to me, it just seems to sneaky. But anwyay hany will go on to bigger things and am sure your comments will do no harm whatsoever. To me sweet suede is at least 95% of clone quality and I can see people also agree with that. Jog on!

Being that I’m a big CH Men fan I can tell you this smells exactly like the original formulation but performs so much better. Finally I can wear this fragrance without having to worry if it’ll last. Sweet Suede is my #1 date fragrance now.

@coasterfan, stop trolling man.
I have seen a few of your reviews on fragrantica and you keep saying that you’re just giving your “honest opinion”, but in fact you clearly hate Hany and his brand. Actually I think you’re just making stuff up or you have no idea what you’re talking about. I have sweet suede and 2 bottles Ch Men (Red ribbon and 2017) and sweet suede’s opening is 95% to my 2017 bottle’s and the dry down is 99% of my red ribbon. The performance is more along the lines of the Red ribbon bottle then my 2017 bottle, but still not great.

I bought a sample of this, with really high hopes that it would identical to vintage CH Men. IMHO, It’s closer to My Land by Trussardi. My Land has much better projection than Sweet Suede and has a much better price, but this is a solid release.

Great release from Alexandria, does it smell like CH Man? Absolutely. Does it last? Most definitely. Recommend getting it all over a tshirt because you are going to love picking it off the floor and putting it on a couple days later.

A wonderful dupe of CH Men by Carolina Herrera! Missing the slightest bit of complexity that is in the original due to the grass accord, but signature sugar/leather/vanilla combo is done perfectly, and is a great stand-in for the CH Men mid and drydown. The good news is that performance on this one is *at least* equivalent to the original formulation CH Men with the red tag! As usual, my disclaimer when it comes to these clone houses is that it’s usually hit or miss. The opening of this one is reasonably close to the original but not identical, but the mid and drydown are indistinguishable from vintage CH Men.
