Description

The third fragrance from the American pop singer Ariana Grande, after the debut of Ari in 2015 and the unisex edition named after her brother Frankie from 2016, comes out under the name of Sweet Like Candy in the standard bottle shape of the collection. Again, the flacon has a fluffy pom-pom, but this time it’s colored in a matt light – pink finish.

Sweet Like Candy is the smell of berries, candies and vanilla. The top notes of sugar frosted blackberries and fresh Italian bergamot lead to the heart of cassis cream and a fluffy marshmallow accord. The gourmand composition ends with vanilla and precious woods.

Sweet Like Candy is available as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Smells very much like Fancy by Brittany Spears. I wore that for a Season years ago. Im hoping this lasts longer though, All these “Cheap” Perfumes don’t last long though. Thats why I typically move on to better Perfumes than all these Famous Star’s Scents. But its a very nice perfume though. I really like it.

WOW, the name definitely says it all. This baby pink girly scent does smell exactly like candy♡ if you’re a sucker for candy like delicious almost edible smells, then you will be very satisfied. My body chemistry projects cotton candy & lollypops with gentle whiffs of vanilla. Really impressed because although you do get your typical celebrity sweet scent, it isn’t like any other perfume I have had before. The silage on me is decent, longevity between 4-5 hours then I need to reapply. I have been reaching for this fragrance a lot lately because I’m really loving it. The bottle is beautiful too my fave color is baby pink & the little pouf on the bottle is adorable. Highly recommend this one if you love sweet smells. Tutti frutti in a bottle. Blind buy gone perfect ♡

I am not an Ariana Grande fan girl, but man do her perfumes smell delicious! Sweet Like Candy is especially delightful, my favorite of the bunch. It’s juicy, sparkling, and youthful. If you are a gourmand lover, you need to sample this. Sweet powdered blackberry candies in a bottle! Sadly though, the perfume has abysmal lasting power. I wish I could find a better quality, longer-lasting scent that smelled EXACTLY like this. I would buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything similar. 🙁 Signorina Misteriosa is sort of similar but not quite as sweet and edible. Still, I bought a 1.7 oz bottle of this and wear it happily. 🙂

Solo decir dulce, juvenil un aroma que se puede encontrar en muchos perfumes. Nada diferente, sin embargos un rico aroma.

I buyed sweet like candy by Ariana Grande on line and only based on your rewiews, because in my town I don’t find it… WOW!!! It is wonderful I cannot describe this perfume because it is totally different to all other perfumes i have ever had and usually like (powdery and vanilla), but this one is the biggest surprise I can wait… is sweet delicate sugary but not too strong, near to my skin… I like it a lot, is my new favourite!!! If you can, try it, you will fall in love like me!!!!

I absolutely love this fragrance. The second I smelled it I had to have it. I’m a sucker for sweet scents and this one is my favorite. The sugary berries and vanilla/marshmallow is a perfect, sexy yet soft and feminine mix. It’s not a “loud” fragrance as it’s like a soft aura of scent. Longevity is great & it sits rather close to the skin, which I like. Im going to be stocking up on this as I feel this just might be my signature scent for the colder months

{{{Warning: Snarkiness ahead}}} I think I’ll hold out until she launches Sweet Like Donut Glaze, at which point I’ll randomly spray it on strangers and then lick it off them. Actually, this fragrance sounds like one my granddaughters, both lovers of über-sweet scents, would like, if not love. Check off a stocking-stuffer!

Sweet Like Candy is a beautiful, soft, yummy fragrance. A bit “innocent.” Makes me think of candied powder. I knew I had to have have it the moment I sampled it. It reminds me a bit of Fantasy by Britney Spears, which I adore, only softer, creamier, and little less fruity. Of course, I will always favor Fantasy over SLC, but this is definitely a wonderful perfume.
EDIT: I already loved this perfume, but it just keeps growing on me more & more. It’s so sweet and soft. Warm & fluffy. Innocent, yet sexy in it’s own candy-like way. Dare I say I have fallen harder for SLC than my beloved Fantasy.
SLC smells like the blankets unicorns use to cover up with while they drift off to sleep on marshmallow clouds.

I try to be careful when writing a review because I have seen people that write reviews and just say its horrible or say that its the best and they state it as it seemily as a fact and I want to always stress that my review is only MY personal opinion and experience, I only write it to maybe help someone with giving a general idea especially if one has not smelled a certain fragrance for themselves and what works for one might not work for another and vice versa.
Sweet like Candy to me is the most absolute yummy, sexy, beautiful, enticing scent captured in a bottle. I love it and it is my husbands new favorite. It drives him crazy. I always get many compliments from kids to both men and women. For me this is what I had wished Britney Spears Fanasty would have smelled like on me. Fanasty is excellent too but if I had to compare I would say Fanasty is Little Sister of Sweet like Candy. As sweet as it is, I still smell a touch more of sophistication. I smell all the main notes listed here. On my chemistry it just unfolds so gorgeously and the dry down is so pretty. I usually can give comparsions or metaphors with the notes in fragrances but this one has me a bit stumped. Its like I have smell many sweet ones like this but yet it still has something that is special and unique that I cant quite put my finger on. Like I said Fanasty is the closest I can compare. It has that same very, very creamy sweet vanilla base to it. Except the kiwi in Fanasty seems to add a sour tartness where as SLC blackberry note is turned into a smoothie without any tartness. It still has a slight freshness to it that keeps it from becoming sickenly sweet. Many times perfumes with jasmine can become to cloying on me and the jasmine and honeysuckle blend together so beautiful and the jasmine is more subtle but just enough to tease you. Just beautiful. Ariana did well on this and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. It is long lasting on me from 7-12 hours and the projection was very good but not offensive. If I worked in a office I would still wear it but yet it is sexy enough to wear on a evening out. I wear it all seasons.

LOVE this scent! Is there such thing as sophisticated cotton candy? If so, this is it. It smells like fruity cotton candy, but it’s smoother than any other candy fragrance I’ve ever tried. It has decent lasting power on me. Now if I can just keep my daughter from stealing it from me… lol

I still not having this perfume because I still don’t agree how much they charge something that got such bad silage and bad staying power.
I’ve tried different times and is always the same story. I would only get one if luckily I find for a good price. I have bought great perfumes for less than what this Ari perfume cost. I find absurd.
Do someone knows please another perfume ( that have a better price preferably) that contains Plumeria also know as frangipani flower on its notes?
That’s is one of the only reason I was hoping to get Sweet like candy, because the plumeria flower.

The first one, Ari, was way too sweet for me to enjoy, and this one has a more light, airy feeling, and with tart dark berry notes instead of sugary pink raspberry. An improvement to me, and I love cashmere notes. I love the name Sweet Like Candy, and the light colored matte bottle. That is the perfect name for a perfume.

i bought Sweet Like Candy in January in the 50 mil size. My sister used to own Ari, and when I tried Ari, judging by the notes i was expecting it to be a beautiful sugar bomb; but there was this horrible piercing fresh and tart citrus note that took over the fragrance. No whipped cream or marshmallows to be smelled! 🙁 The worst part was that within 20 mins it was gone from my skin! As a person who likes their scents to last all day this was disappointing.
This was exactly the same case with Sweet Like Candy! I bought it thinking that it would be a better fragrance but it smelled identical and the lasting power was the same. It is a shame really as I have smelled moonlight and love the apple and nutty notes, and the overall design of the bottles are very cute but the terrible lasting power has turned me away from Ariana fragrances for now. 4/10

I got this nice perfume yesterday (edp 30ml), and I think I had forgotten what it smelled like when I was sniffing it in the shops…
and I had forgotten that I bought L’amour Rose of Anna Sui, which smells exactly the same as Sweet as Candy (but I prefer AS over AG because of L’amour lasts longer on my skin).
It is perfect, and it’s also perfect for elderly women like me (57y).
But, it is for swap, because sadly I got allergy and astma of the metal at the cap/lid.

I am super impressed by Sweet Like Candy. I had kept putting off buying it even though it kept popping up on my radar.. I have a lot of ultra sweet celeb scents already, why get another one? Well I’ve been on a super sweet scent kick lately so I finally made the plunge and blind bought it.. and I am so glad I did!
For one, the lasting power on this is incredible. One little spritz on my wrist yesterday afternoon lasted all day, and a couple sprays to the chest last night have lasted me well into this morning and surrounded me in a luscious candy cloud.
Sweet Like Candy is remarkably similar to Meow by Katy Perry but instead of the effervescent tangerine note, you get a musky berry note. The creamy pear and vanilla base is still there. Meow has no lasting power whatsoever, though.. as much as I love that scent it always lets me down as far as longevity goes. I wish it had the magic ingredient Sweet Like Candy has in its formula that is making it such a powerhouse on my skin. But citrus scents are usually fleeting anyway, it seems. Sweet Like Candy has a bit of citrus (bergamot) detectable only in the first 15 mins or so before it settles into berries and cream.
All in all a solid sweet celebrity gourmand. If that style is up your alley, I’d highly recommend this fragrance. And the bottle is adorable, I love that puff ball!

This was the perfume that started it all for me (15 perfumes collected later…so still kind of a newbie). I ABSOLUTELY love this. It’s so sweet without that gross fake sweet that you can sometimes get with “cheaper” perfumes. I got the 3.4oz of this on amazon for $36…in my opinion very affordable. I don’t feel that I have to spray tons of this to smell it. This was my signature for about a year and I’m only changing it up because I’ve moved to a different climate and I want to see how other perfumes react on my skin here. If you’re considering a blind buy, I say DO IT. I like this more than Bon Bon. Sorry not sorry V&R. 🙂 I’d rate this a 10/10 and I don’t do that lightly. Most perfumes I’ve tried I’d rate in the 6/10 range.

Upon spraying, I got a sweet citrus scent probably the blackberry and a very faint almost nonexistent pear.
Getting halfway [From first spray to it’s 4th hour in] smells like a really sweet plain frozen yoghurt without the probiotics okay so this is what it smells like halfway, when you have an empty cup of plain frozen yoghurt left for about half an hour lying around, smell that and this is what is smells like halfway. It’s probably the marshmallow, whipped cream and citrus notes swirling around.
Drydown definitely smells like a faint Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy which is probably caused by the combination of black currant, vanilla and marshmallow.
This ends smelling almost powdery but not the kind of powdery which makes you sneeze, it’s the base note with faint hints of the middle notes, really faint, this scent comes up in about 5-6 hours in which sticks close to skin.
    First Notes: Blackberry citrus sweetness
Middle: Mashmallow, whipped cream and black currant sweetnes with a faint hint of flowers I can’t point out, actually, I don’t even think if there’s flowers in this one, seriously.
Drydown: Base notes with all other notes lingering faintly.
Sillage: Arms length for an hour or so, close to skin for the next following hours
    Longetivity: 4-6hours

It starts with a strong burst of blackberry cream but fades to an average woody floral on my skin. A bit disappointing, generic at best.
If you like this, you should try:
    ~BS Rocker Femme Fantasy~
    ~BS Midnight Fantasy~
    *8-19-18*update*
Even though longevity is poor, both my husband and I enjoy the way this scent transforms with my chemistry so much, I’m adding it to my favorites.

I try not to be snobbish when it comes to fragrance seeing as not everyone has the budget to afford designer/couture scents, and it is only fair to be humble in your approach to things that can be subjective. I usually and more often than not steer clear of celebrity frags (my only favorite being the original BS Fantasy which has since been reformulated and is now a complete catastrophe), but this one peaked my interest based on the name, bottle, artist and notes. I actually enjoy Ariana Grande and her music since her style is uber-feminine and over the top cute, but for the sake of this review my feelings toward Ariana will be neutral. I was not expecting too much from this fragrance yet I do enjoy it. I purchased it for $58 CAD which is within normal range for celeb frags. The scent definitely emulates VLJ Gold’s DNA although without the caramel undertone and heavy floral middle, it also reminds me of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar without the spice/licorice. This scent is very, very sweet and I can see a 16/17 year old really enjoying this fragrance; granted I am 28 and enjoy this scent – I think anyone can and should wear whatever scent makes them happy so long as it is not overly offensive to the nose or brings anyone to nausea. Sweet Like Candy wears its name well, and the packaging is definitely representative of the juice inside. The pompom is a cute addition to the bottle and I am grateful for the fact that it can be removed. This fragrance is all about sugar, heavy on the whipped cream and marshmallow with a teeny bit of tart berry thrown in. I cannot really detect any of the floral notes; vanilla is hiding somewhere and the frangipani is completely MIA. The bergamot, jasmine and honeysuckle are only detectable at first spray, but everything dries down to a sharp candy on the skin. I wish they would have used something a bit more grounding in the base as the cashmere wood cannot hold onto the other notes nearly as strong as an amber would, for example. I would have loved if this scent brought in a stronger gourmand flare, perhaps a cupcake note or a praline. Sweet Like Candy is a nice scent that will fully satisfy your sweet tooth as long as you don’t expect too much from it!

Probably anosmia, see if you had similar reaction to any other scent and which note (s) they may have in common, and you can at least predict some other perfumes which will have the same problem on your skin.I have a very cheap dupe of this and, while not long lasting, it stays 3/4 hours on my skin. And I agree this is quite an interesting aroma, very sweet, candy-like, but very creamy . For a better creamy perfume try Dolce Gabbana Intense and rocker Femme Fantasy.

I’ve made my peace with the fact that I vastly prefer sweet and fruity scents to anything else and probably always will. Vanilla and berries are my favorite notes, and they smell lovely in this perfume. Sweet Like Candy had the potential to become my all-time favorite fragrance. The only problem is that it fades almost immediately on my skin, even with heavy application. Funny how certain scents you don’t care for stick around long enough to give you a headache, yet scents you love fade into nothing. Might have to try layering with this one.

  23. :

The bottle looks exactly how the scent smells – pink, fluffy and fun. Kind of reminds me of what a blackberry marshmallow would smell like. It’s juvenile for sure but super fun, this is actually my night-time fragrance – it always cheers me up when I wear it to bed.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

I like it. It reminds me of pink cotton candy. not sickly sweet but it is sweet. Tends to sit close to the skin at dry down and its nice to wear to work. I have had it on for 6 hours now and it is still noticeable. Not sure I would buy a FB of this but I will enjoy my 15mL decant that I ordered until it is gone.

  25. :

First not Sweet at all, rather sour/tart opening. No idea what kinda non-Sweet notes it is…after a short while its all gone and only musky Vanilla sweet notes remain. A boring perfume in my opinion.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

I like this perfume because, its super sweet, but in a light, fluffy way. It’s not syrupy and gives you a headache, I also found it to be pretty unique. I’ve never smelled anything like this.

I liked the original Ariana Grande fragrance-cute bottle and it smelled like cotton candy so whats not to like? Granted i went though small bottle in no time because it doesn’t last but hey, it smelled good while i had it on.
So when i seen a rollerball of Sweet like Candy for only 7 dollars, I figured that i got nothing to lose because i liked the original so how bad can this be?
You know what, i want that $7 back.
    1) it smells like they took cotton candy notes and added few fruit notes. Very basic and nothing interesting
    2) it smells cheap. No, really. Worst than some random drug store body sprays.
    3) Noone can smell this because its so fleeing.
All I can say I am so glad I didn’t get a regular bottle of it because i was considering it.
I will wear it at work because I hate to just not to use a fragrance i paid money for, since its so light, it will work just fine since i cant wear strong fragrances to my job.
Don’t get me wrong-it doesn’t smell gross or anything. ITs just a very poorly blended, generic scent thats not worth the money and if you want a celebrity scent, there are much better ones out there.

Smells similar to “Viva La Juicy Sucree”(which I love!) but a with a bit more fresh fruityness. I am not an Ariana Grande fan but I don’t really care because I feel more feminine & flirty whenever I wear this. My boyfriend hates all perfume with a passion but asked me if he could sniff the bottle because it smells “amazing”! I also sniff the bottle sprayer when I need a pick me up, it makes me feel happy.
Performance is not great compared to Ari which lasts several hours on me. I can smell Sweet like Candy for about 30 minutes tops which is disappointing because this would be my Holy Grail daytime fragrance otherwise :(. I will try the lotion and body wash and see if it makes a difference longevity-wise.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

The opening of this is like a blast of blackberry and whipped cream, but it doesn’t take long to get to the marshmallow and vanilla notes. It’s very reminiscent of a berry ice cream sundae, or like a milkshake made of berries. This scent is gorgeous. It doesn’t smell like candy in my opinion, but it is definitely a cohesive mix of sweet, creamy and fruity notes. I feel like this is one of the rare, versatile fragrances that can be worn year-round. The very visible presence of the blackberry and pear gives the fragrance a freshness that allows you to wear this in warmer weather as long as it isn’t too muggy, while the marshmallow, cream, and vanilla supplies a nice warmth for cooler temperatures. Very versatile. Longevity is moderate on my skin, and projection isn’t too bad.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

This one may seem to have some similarities with Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Sucré but NOT quite, and does not last as long. Also, it is still lack of the “maturity” and “quality” and does not have the “gourmand” effect like La Sucré. Also, the pear note in here is quite “sharp” and dominant (which I can live without), while Sucré has the sweeter peach.
I first tested it at Kohl’s and did not like it at all. The scents from that tester bottle smelled so terrible (as knock-off perfumes would smell like). Then I tested it again at the Exchange center of Travis Air Force Base, it smelled different and quite pleasant, even though it still smelled a tat “artificial”. Having said that, I started to doubt the quality control of this whole line. It does not seem “consistent” or “stable” at all from one bottle to another.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

Let’s just say that I found this one to just be okay. I don’t hate it, but I definitely don’t love it either. Since I don’t own this one personally I can’t comment on the longevity of it. I have sampled this on several different occasions as the unique shape of the bottle catches my eye every time I am near perfume. But every time I did smell this… I feel very unsure of whether I would get it.
Disclaimer: This is mainly my interpretation of how the smell goes for me. Every thing here is just my opinion. Well, except for the notes I mentioned.
It smells kind of generic to me. Like, I don’t know how to quite describe it but it has a smell that I somewhat vaguely recognize from various other perfumes I have sampled. Now, don’t get me wrong this perfume isn’t bad, it just is not for me. I normally really like to smell sweet fragrances but even I have my limit. And this happens to be above my limit if that makes any sense. I’m no perfume connoisseur by any stretch of the word but I don’t recommend blind buying this.
I also don’t recommend it if you prefer more floral fragrances as the non floral notes tend to pop out more than the aforementioned floral notes themselves. So basically whipped cream and marshmallow are the biggest duo in this, but vanilla managed to squeeze in between them. Why do I say this? Because vanilla is the only floral note I can pick up from this even though it’s a tad faint. The marshmallow and whipped cream notes stick around for the whole show as the other notes sort of get their times to shine.
On the flip side though, I would recommend this if you like a blend of youthful and mature. Or something in the middle of the two. Like other perfumes I have sampled and reviewed, I wouldn’t designate a specific age for this. I very rarely feel it’s necessary to mention a an age group. Another reason why I would recommend this is if you are looking for something that is like an upgrade from Britney Spears’ Fantasy or from something that is super duper sweet.
That being said, I’m more or less indifferent, I usually only buy perfumes if I really like them, and on occasion I buy more than one bottle (3 at most) because of liking it so much. But no, I can’t see myself really owning this unless it was gifted to me or something.

Smells like raplh lauren pony 2 and justin beiber sigh..her first one is amazing. I still like this one. but its like a dupe to katy perry meow, justin bieber, and a few others <3

  33. :

This is definitely a bad fragrance. To me who wears gold couture or fantasy this is a disappointment. It barely lasts for 2 hours and all I smell is florals. It is my fault that I bought this blindly (we didn’t have it anywhere in my country), in the 100ml gift set. Such a let down!

  34. :

    5 out of 5

This is new perfume for me. Is it new though?
No. This reminds me of so many other “gourmand” scents out there.
I love gourmand perfumes. I don’t really like over the top floral perfumes.
This tries to sit in the middle.
It’s very very very simular to Britney Spears’ Fantasy. But it’s not as sickly sweet. The sweetness doesn’t stick around for as long or as strong. Instead, it goes kinda frangipani and honeysuckle on me.
Don’t expect whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla. Buy a cupcake instead.
I think it’s a more sophisticated and grown up version of Fantasy.
The bottle is gorgeous. Reminds me of raw uncut rose quartz. Mmmmmmmm. I probably will buy it again.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I can’t even. This is Ariana’s best fragrance. Not only that, it’s in my opinion one of the best sweet fragrances I have ever smelt. I am on my third bottle. Just like sugar this stuff is addicting like crazy.
It’s literally like taking cotton candy, vanilla, sugar, ice cream, marshmallows and mixing them all together. It’s a complete and utter sugar rush and I love it. I do notice the blackberry and I think that’s what gives it a nice edge and sets it apart from other celeb fragrances. As well as her signature marshmallow note.
I have Ariana’s other fragrances too (minus Frankie… yuck) but this tops them all. It’s only comparison is Juicy Couture Sucré or Gold Couture. But it is different in that I don’t detect as much florals or base notes like amber or sandalwood. The dry down of this is amazing. It becomes a close skin scent that gets creamy and sensual.
Moonlight by Ariana comes in second, then the original Ari for me. I did manage to get a travel spray of the limited edition red version and that smells incredible as well, but adds more berries.
Downside is this doesn’t last long. 5 sprays maybe last an hour on me. But it’s not super expensive so I don’t mind. I will continue to repurchase. Highly highly recommend if you have a serious sweet tooth. This is one of the all time greatest celebrity fragrances.

I like the sweetnes of the perfume
Fruity and a soft powdery note
It is like a summer version of her original “ari”
Lasting power 6 hours on me
    The silage is amazing
    Realy like this fragrance

It smells like any other celebrity fragrance. I smelt no marshmallows, vanilla, or cream which is what I wanted it to smell like!! I am so disappointed. I bought mine at Kohl’s so maybe the quality was expired/crappy compared to Macy’s or Nordstrom. That being said, it smells ok while it lasts, but it smells generic and unlike the description.

I knew it’s a must have for me the day I saw it’s launch news.how could I resist marshmallow, cream and vanilla?and all those lovely floral notes and cashmere wood.the only thing I was concerned about was it’s fruity notes.pear is a favorite but blackberry, blackcurrent and bergamot.well I wasn’t very happy to see them.I don’t have anything against fruity notes.there are a lot of fruity scents I like but I’m tired of all gourmands with berryish fruits.why do they think there must be some kind of berry in every floral-fruity-gourmand?and if they don’t use a berry, they replace it by black or red current or any other fruity note which appears like berry on skin.almost all viva la juicy flankers, killer queens, fantasy rocker femme and now sweet like candy.I just wish to see a gourmand full of cream and marshmallow but without any fruity notes(thanks god there’s Prada candy so that I could experience caramel without any fruit).lets go back to sweet like candy:
The first time I tried it I was disappointed.I could smell lots of blackberry, exactly like fantasy rocker femme, and no marshmallow.it is sweet but not too sweet or enough gourmand to fit it’s name.I started to like it more after a while.black berry calms down after couple of minutes and melt into pear and vanilla cream.it’s a very pretty scent.youthful but not childish.soft and feminine.I’m glad to have it.it’s bottle is so beautiful that makes it price-worthy
This eye catching bottle contains a creamy dreamy, inoffensive and easy to love scent so there’s no regret to buy it.but I wished it was sweeter, with more cream and more marshmallow and with stronger sillage.it’s so light and soft that I can smell it just by sticking my hands to my nose.it also lasts on my skin for 3 hours at it’s best.I mostly use it around home and before sleep.it’s intimate, and a great perfume for bed but I preferred it was stronger so that I could use it outdoors.well,I’m into sillage monsters so if you want something pretty, feminine, modern,a crowd pleaser, make sure to try it and don’t let it’s name or bottle frighten you.you don’t need to into super sweet scents or a teenager to like it.my friend is a 36 year old nurse and this is her everyday perfume and she receives tones of positive comments from both patients and staff

  39. :

This is by far one of my favorite perfumes. I smelled this for the first time and thought “I’m going for something like this.”
This smells childish, and innocent, yet the vanilla is very sensual. The powdery smell is kinda cuddly. It’s a flirty, cute, playful scent. It’s kinda weird bc, every time I put this one the marshmallows are the main note followed by vanilla and whipped cream, but one day the main note was blackberry…. that never happened again. Every accord is very noticeable (sweet, fruity, vanilla, powdery), except white floral.
The bottle is very asethetically pleasing O-O I wanna keep it on display but I gotta keep perfume stored properly 🙁 Even the box it comes in is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.
It lasts a long time on me, it’s also pretty strong. I think some ppl would find it offensive, if you care.

I absolutely love this! I think the bergamot adds a more mature and sort of spicy-ish thing to it which I like. The fruitiness of the berries is also amazing, I think it leaves a great scent. I also LOVE the whipped cream, I think it has a kind of fluffy affect on it which rounds off the scent in such a lovely way. It’s definitely sugary, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like sugary scents. The sillage apparently is very good too, my parents notice it even if I sneak some on with one spray, but I don’t smell it unless I put it very close to my nose. Maybe I get used to it. Also, the perfume lasts really long! I can smell it all throughout the day, I love it!

To my nose this isn’t as overly sweet as Ari, despite what the name suggests; Sweet Like Candy is more fruity sweet, rather than sugar and vanilla sweet. On me the strongest and longest note here is the blackberry, and it doesn’t seem overly sweet to me, despite being described as ‘sugar frosted’. I also pick up on what smells like apple, even though that’s not listed. The bergamot is fairly developed too, which gives the fragrance some energy.
I like the opening to Sweet Like Candy, but it begins to unravel fairly quickly; I find the fragrance too linear as none of the florals stand out to me, just leaving an impression of powder and vanilla, which is almost the same as Ari on me. The strong berry note gives the fragrance a bit more impact in comparison to Ari, and prevent the powder, cream and vanilla base from becoming overpowering.
The longevity and sillage aren’t anything to shout abort – the perfume wears for around 5/6 hours and it goes close to the skin pretty quickly.
Sweet Like Candy certainly isn’t something I think of as ‘bad’, offensive, vulgar or anything negative, but it can’t be called even a slightly original fragrance. I don’t think Sweet Like Candy is anything to get excited over as the scent notes are all very popular nowadays, so most of us will already have a similar fragrance in our collections. I received a gift set as a gift and I’ll happily wear it on casual days and for bed, but Sweet Like Candy isn’t something I’d buy for myself. Nice, but “meh” at the same time sums up my final opinion.

Listen, I’m 23 years old and I LOVE THIS! It’s great on its own, it’s great layered with another perfume, it’s just all around GREAT. I get marshmallow, whipped cream, and sugared fruits. It’s not a complex scent so it does not go through the motions throughout the day. What you smell at first whiff is the scent you’ll smell at the end of the day (though it’ll be light). It doesn’t have great longevity (4-6 hrs) but it’s better than her first perfume Ari (don’t come for me but Ari did not last for schiß!) I like to pair this one up with Juliette Has A Gun Not a Perfume, for some reason, Not a Perfume Tones down the sweetness and turns it into a more agreeable scent. I’d recommend it if you enjoy sweet, girly, carefree fragrances.

I totally agree with pinkalpaca, I get many compliments from men how beautiful I smell (big surprise as I didn’t expected it). I love sweet scent in general, but I was thinking that this scent is only for teenage girls. You should know that it really depends on your taste, on you and on your style. Go ahead to try it on your own. Even if you are 25+ you can wea
