Description
American fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg returned to the perfume market mid-2011 with the floral – woody fragrance Diane (available in two versions: Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette). The fragrance is designed as an interpretation of women’s power through scent.
In May 2012, the first limited edition of this perfume comes out. The new edition is a fresh and summery interpretation of the original and it is named Sunny Diane. Its composition is based on the scent of frangipani flower, which is also featured in the original formula, but instead of intense woody components this new structure includes predominantly marine, aquatic and citrusy accords.
Sunny Diane captures a summer sunny day with notes of sparkling and juicy mandarin, accords that reminiscent of sea breeze, frangipani flower, woody tones, driftwood and musk.
It is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
WOWAH – :
Sunny Diane perfume by Diane Von Furstenberg.
This is a very pretty soft but long lasting scent on me.
I get that beautiful tropical frangipani flower against a
back beat of soft citrus and woods. I like this one a lot.
I am also a fan of the original Tatiana.

This is so light that it disappears in a few hours at most. The edt is almost non existent but it is fresh and pretty. I also sprayed it on a cotton ball but could barely smell anything after 5 minutes. If you are looking for a light summer fragrance that is very close to the skin and safe to wear anywhere, this one is for you!
Forward-3000 – :
Soft, slightly sweet citrus-scent. Not bad, but it sillage is way to low (skin-scent on me). It whispers. But on the positive side, it keeps whispering all day on me (8+ hrs on my dry skin). It has little to do with the original Diane (that one is gorgeous, especially the edp)

Oh dear not for me, smells very like an aerosol spray from the 70’s.
I don’t feel this is marine, just missed the spot there. I know there is no real marine scent but should try harder.
Unable to smell the frangipani & mandarin, perhaps this is why its always on offer.
Perhaps the bottle costs more than what they put in the mix.
Aytan – :
Fresh, juicy, breezy and lightly fruity. I get more of a juicy pear rather than citrus but that’s a good thing. The sillage is very soft although it does last on my skin until late afternoon, and even longer on my clothes. I love how it makes me feel like I’ve just applied some quality sunscreen on and I’m sunbathing on a sandy beach 🙂 Lovely fragrance for a sunny beach holidays.

This is lovely, for all 10 minutes it lasts. It’s a nice inoffensive scent but it really is far to weak wich is a real shame

Smelt this today, was pleasantly surprised. I don’t think it’s anything you haven’t smelt before but it’s pleasant and kinda classic. Something I’d buy for my mum/aunt or something I’d reach for myself for work or just a general day to day sort of scent. Don’t overlook.

Slightly disappointed with this scent, absolutely love Diane EDP but this does absolutely nothing for me, no staying power on my skin but this maybe due to my body chemistry, cant detect any woody or musk tones. Reminds me of another scent but not quite sure which one! Perfect if you want a light perfume.
Papinalex – :
Sunny is pleasant on a verge of non-existant when just applied as more people mentioned before me, so I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be with this scent by the perfumer’s intention. On me Sunny smells delicately of sea, exotic flowers and summer breeze – a perfect holiday scent. It’s light so can withstand hot climes and still wouldn’t resemble a coconut suntan lotion.
Similar to Green Tea Arden in how I’m going to use it: for refreshing when it’s hot and when I go out somewhere crowdy during a hot summer spell (2 weeks in my city:). It will be good for early spring too – the harbinger of warm weather and carefree times. Like.

Love it, love it, love it!!! It’s name is so true what the essence of this fragrance is. So light, so happy, so optimistic. The only con is that I’d love it to last a little longer.

It the ETD and it super light…I get away with wearing it around my patients in hospital… it a floral citrus and at first you smell nothing then about 20 min as you walk you smell like you just got out of the shower… If you ever owned or smell Banana Republic W? it has a fresh out of shower smell and my husband can only smell it if he hugs me or gets close…So it a very weak EDT and if safe for work area… it safe and nothing special…

I like this better than the Diane (original?). The first one contains something that gives me a headache. This Sunny is light and fresh and very citrusy. Nice but not the FBW. Saw several bottles of this at Winners for $40.
On me,
Sillage: 1-2 feet
Longevity: I forgot
Rating: 3/5

Got this at TJMax as a blind buy. It is a nice, safe pleasant scent. Non offensive and office worthy. It smells mainly of citrus, like a classier version of Sunflowers. Sillage and staying power is weak to moderate; could be better. I got a big bottle at a good price so I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day. I like it, but don’t love it.
бродяга – :
I couldn’t resist the sunny bottle and figured it had to be citrus/summer. I indulged in a Marshall’s blind buy. This is just pleasant summer into fall. I do get “warm”,maybe because of the driftwood mixed with the mandarin and flower. If you like this sort of thing, it will make you smile. I would call it a bit pricey for a body spray, certainly don’t pay full price. I get a couple of hours out of a few sprays, but I will enjoy it into late September until it cools down.

I sprayed it on a blotter in chemist’s but I couldn’t smell anything. Wtf?
