Description
Jil Sander launches its annual limited editions of the original fragrances Sun (1989) and Sun Men (2002) for the upcoming summer of 2016. Two new fragrances are named Jil Sander Sun Shake and Jil Sander Sun Fizz and with the message that “summer is not just a season, but also a state of mind – celebrating the here and now”.
Jil Sander Sun Fizz is a fresh, dynamic and happy scent designed for the summer enthusiasts, which reportedly posseses a certain seductive, masculine accord. Sun Fizz is a powerful bouquet that sparks the imagination and evokes ecstatic freedom and fun. This fresh, oriental fragrance is built around a concentrate of summery and ozonic notes, created by perfumer Domitille Bertier. It opens with warm solar accords, spicy cardamom and airy ozone notes reminiscent of the sea breeze. Sparkling orange blossom, green apple, marine accord and musky ambergris form the heart of the perfume. The woody base includes balsamic ambery notes, vanilla and patchouli.
The fragrances come in the iconic SUN fragrance bottles; sleek, suncare-inspired with a white lacquered cap. Available as a 125 ml Eau de Toilette with a 150 ml shower gel.

Think user chuntset got the description right. It’s not groundbreaking but a nice summer scent with something oddly different and “happy” . I’m not a florals fan and even though it really only has one floral note listed, I think that one note is strong and this is a floral fragrance to me. Bear in mind though when you don’t like something (in this case a note) then that’s what tends to stand out. But, it’s not over the top and on whole it works to form a beachy feel. Sunny and fizzy is appropriate.
If I had it to do over, I think I would have purchased Sun Day Men or Sunrise Men. That one, single floral note is off-putting to me as I really just don’t like florals. I had no way of testing this though. However, as stated, it’s still not bad schtuff and I’ll wear it next summer. But when it comes time to replace it, I’ll choose Sun Day or Sunrise.

This was a low risk blind buy for me due to the price.
Nothing groundbreaking with this scent but it has a nice effervescent and uplifting feel to it. I suppose that’s why they put “fizz” in the name.
If you like summer, citrusy colognes you can’t go wrong with this one.

i have to say – everyone is right about this one. i feel like i just got the deal of the century – having paid 20 something bucks for 4.2 oz of this…bright, beachy, sweet, sunny and perfect for your every day warm weather arsenal. This is one of the greats.

OK, now this one is unique .. It is different from all summer scents i came across ..well balanced,in offensive, good value of money and above all very pleasing to ladies … i even got compliment from my aunt who is very allergic to scents. As been said before why Jil Sander is so under rated. i am using it on and off on casual meetings and its just doing well for me.. Performance is good rather better from many expensive big names.

This is a lovely, sweet, sunny scent. As soon as you spray it you can smell the sweet, resinous and masculine scent of the cardamom. But when dry, this scent is an amazing experience. It is so modern and synthetic in a good way. The solar and ozonic notes mixed with the sweetness of the vanilla and the soft warm amber note make an amazing, gorgeous mix.
It is a perfect scent for summer and smells totally unique in my opinion.

For the first few minutes i get Cardamom and then after its vanilla, amber and the solar notes mixed together. Hard to describe in words. Imagine a sun-vanilla milk shake (doesn’t make any sense right, that’s how it is) poured onto you. Super Unique, Less citrusy, good Longevity and silage. Underrated summer fragrance.
