This reminds me of Adam Levine for men. That same tart body odor vibe. This one is a bit spicier but equally bad. I agree with the other reviewers. I have no idea what the perfumer had in mind when he created this but it’s a total disaster. And of course with all bad scents longevity is excellent. Go figure….

Can’t remember the last time a fragrance made such a bad impression on me. I’m a fan of tart scents, and love grapefruit as a note… *generally.* Not this grapefruit.
While it sparkles, it also punches you in the face. There’s nothing to sweeten it; it’s quite a bitter grapefruit and the sharpness is amped by the almost-soapy edge of cilantro.
I waited for the drydown to see if it would soften, ripen… alas. It remains sharp, dry, harsh. Surprisingly, the longevity is really good on this one. I haven’t had that experience generally with citrus fragrances. Well, this one lasts forever (ain’t that always the way, when you want a guest to leave and they make an excuse to stick around…).
I generally love grass as a note, but don’t get enough of it here to charm me. The orange blossom appears, but does not take the edge off.
I’m going to have to layer this with something to even make my sample tolerable.
I do wonder how this would smell on a man… but it’s not for me.

Wanted to like this one because I love Dasein’s Winter fragrance but this one isn’t good. Accidentally spilled a bunch on my hand in-store and it reeked of cilantro for hours. Not a fan.
good-for-nothing – :
Scent – grapefruit & fresh greens.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the warmer months, day or night.
Projection – I didn’t get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
Longevity – I get 6hrs consistently.

The opening is a huge blast of cilantro, which quickly turns into a very sharp, grassy grapefruit scent. It’s very potent, and kind of reminds me of a grapefruit facial cleanser I used to use (the one by Neutrogena) but with more grass in it. It’s not necessarily unpleasant, but I wouldn’t call it inviting either. It’s almost medicinal in its sharpness, and sort of calls to mind a citronella candle. While it is bright and zingy, it doesn’t have much depth, and while I can appreciate this approach to the concept of summer, it’s just not a scent for me.

Too high, sharp and grapefruit-y for me. It’s pretty, but no bottom.

I just get cilantro. I love the winter from this brand too. I wish I got other notes but I don’t and that’s the truth.

Apparently orange blossom is a difficult note for me. When I read reviews on Fragrantica of orange blossom scents they always sound intoxicating and I want one. Then I remember that I never cared for the smell of orange flower water which is often used in food/cocktails. It smells really soapy to me.
Having recently fallen under the spell of Dasein Winter I was anxious to try this one. At first I was a little put off by the orange blossom. Mixed with the cilantro (which also tends to a soapy note) I found the opening unsettling. Gradually the orange blossom receded a bit and I was absolutely captivated by the lush, tart, sparkling, juicy grapefruit which melded so beautifully with the jasmine, cilantro, and grass notes. I had to get a full bottle.
Longevity and sillage are both better than expected for a citrus scent. I love it!
