Blood Orange & white flowers. To me, this is nearly identical to Britney Spears Curious, but lasts much longer. The bottle is just classically beautiful. I’ve worn this fragrance for years and never get tired of it.

My first impression of this brand was when I recently sampled Emelia, which was an unexpected disappointment. Funnily enough, that’s partly what caused the experience to be exactly reversed in this case: my expectations of Stella were pretty low, which made it a pleasant surprise to discover how much I like it.
It starts very strong with a wonderful blast of soft, feminine citrus: blood orange and what I thought must be orange blossom, and a very good one too – but since it’s not listed in the notes, I guess it must be the bitter orange coming out particularly floral. It’s a great combination in any case; just sweet enough and very enjoyable, a little candied in a subtle way. And this facet only deepens as Stella dries down: the focus soon shifts to the floral aspect of the fragrance, and in the end a mild kind of musk takes center stage, but the orange stays eminently noticeable throughout – it’s the sparkling backbone of the scent, and it keeps it from becoming overwhelmingly sweet or too generically feminine. Lovely!
Performance is just right too, both in terms of projection and longevity, and I can see this one working in many different settings and in every season except maybe the worst parts of winter. So good marks all around, and another one I’ll have to add to my decant wish list at least…

This is so unique, as I heard some youtubers mentioning about Stella, I accidentally found Tocca in my country. I tested all of them (actually some of them only, the seller did not imported all Tocca perfumes) then I got Bianca home. But I kept thinking about getting Stella coz my favourite two youtubers recommended it. Then I got a small bottle like 20ml.
I didn’t like it at the first sniff, even very disappointed. I felt like so similar to something I owned, but not sure what it was. After tried out few times, I realized it was Curious and a bit of Paris Hilton heiress (which is my all time favourite but ignored it for ages). So I decided to use it up coz I don’t really want it…
However, the more I smell it, the more I’m into it. Now I’m crazy about it!!! I had kept finding it online for few days, most of sellers don’t do purfume shopping from overseas. It’s so so so good, as my favourite youtuber said, it’s just like candy. For me, it’s Fruity candy, not gummies, not marshmallow, it’s candy for sure. So many sweet purfumes out there are like marshmallows or vanilla or cupcakes. This is hard candy! Having subtle citrusy hint, not so strong, but warm and welcoming. I don’t really into citrusy scent coz I don’t like something too sour, Stella is unique as having citrusy light kind of smell with warm undertone. It has some depth into it as a light, clean scent, these characters are rare to see as a bloody orange purfume. Every time I smell it, it gives me the certain degrees of pleasure and I always find some new hint I have never got from it before. As if it has layers also very sophisticated, surprisingly amazing! I know it’s for me, cute at first sight but actually have some depth in it. Which are only for the one who really spending time with, like Little Prince’s Rose. Just got the full size bottle from online store finally, a new friend of mine.

This is my all time favorite perfume! I live for this blood orange and spicy lily concoction! So bright, watery and fresh. Really shines best in summer as it warms on the skin. Such a beauty it is as it evokes many compliments from both men and women. I wore this on one of the best days of my life, my wedding day, so it will forever be special to me!

Top notes are blood orange, bitter orange and watery notes; middle notes are freesia, lily and wild orchid; base notes are sandalwood and musk.
Very similar to Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine in fragrance notes and also in lack of sillage/longevity.
    Not for me.
If you like this, you should try:
    ~Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine~
    ~Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange~

It totally smells like orange bonbon candy – artificiall and not sour. Really weak sillage, but fragrance itself is quite ok.

Yes, this Tocca Stella perfume smells good but it has zero longevity. After 1 hour it’s a faint skin scent. I have it stored in a dark closet where no light hits it. I bought my bottle 5 months ago at Sephora. I’m very disappointed at how the orange color of the perfume is now turning yellow. It’s not even 6 months old and I already see discoloration of the perfume! I will use this perfume this summer but I would not buy it again. Frankly, with the poor longevity and discoloration at such an early stage, I think it’s a cheap perfume. Save your money and buy a quality perfume that won’t fade or look like water after a few months.

    Roll on
On skin: At first I get an ok orange scent. Nothing exciting, but I’ve been spoiled by Atelier Cologne’s citrus scents. Within an hour it turns sour in a really unpleasant way.

This past Saturday I was given a Tocca Stella roll-on by a friend of my sister’s. What is it that I smell? Neroli, though I know it’s not in Stella. Perhaps the combination of the orange notes and the floral notes combine to create the impression of orange flowers, which makes perfect sense.
My second impression was that it seems a nearly exact replica of Ralph Lauren Blue, of which I could stand only one mini’s use because there is a note in Blue that I can’t stomach in anything—melon.
Would I purchase Stella for myself? No. The lily is just a bit overboard, enough so that I can’t imagine spraying it for others to deal with involuntarily.
Still, it’s nice enough for someone like myself who usually doesn’t go crazy for florals.
Overall rating: 6.5 out of 10.

I truly have not smelled any perfumes as unique ass Tocca’s are. And St4ella is one of my favorites. Stella invokes beauty and grace and is just a delicate yet womanly scent. Stella makes me feel prettier when I wear her. When you look at the notes they aren’t unique; citrus, floral, musk, and sandalwood. The sweet and bitter orange are balanced out by the watery notes, while the floral heart does not invade your privacy. The dry down is quite beautiful in its creamy sensuality. However, in Stella, the mixture of these notes, while I feel is somewhat common, is ethereal and tender where other’s miss that mark. None of the other similar scents embrace me quite like Stella.

It’s a nice blood orange scent, but it doesn’t stay too long.

I splurge on Anthropologie scents. This one and Royal Apothic I would buy often. This perfume is very girly and very sweet. Like Toyko Milk’s Eden I had to retire this scent because it was giving me headaches. However, it is a nice scent and I just prefer lighter airy scents than the strong floral sweet scents.

  13. :

Stella smells almost exactly like Paradise by Nest, only a little less dry and a bit more floral. That is not a bad thing because both are beautiful, easy wearing fragrances. If you’re torn between the two, choose Stella for the bottle.

Stella reminds me of something from my 80’s childhood — not sure if it’s something my mother wore, or a toy/lip balm I had, or Orangina, or Trix cereal (as someone mentioned in a review).
Or it could be the freesia that was so omnipresent in the early 90’s. Either way, I like it but for sentimental reasons and I can’t imagine wearing it all that often.

  15. :

Pleasant, fresh, citrus and floral. Nothing amazing or complex or soul shaking. Wearing it today while running the ordinary day to day errands. Very affordable. Tocca make a liquid hand soap in many of their basic scents. Can’t recommend it enough as well as their wonderful lubricating hand creams.

Nice for the price and nice in general – nothing amazing or astonishing, but I don’t think its meant to be. Smells similar, in a way, to Lovely by SJP. Just much more traditional and deep.
    A lovely citrus scent.

Smells sO soft, pretty, initial blast reminds me of Trix cereal
as it settles it turns into Orange Creamsicle icepop. Sillage
is soft, subtle (weak) – smells cute and lovely and reminds
me a bit of Petals without the popcorny-butter. Sparkling:)
I’m wearing in late fall/almost winter, it may be stronger in
the spring/summer I think it’d be more appropriate Spring.
I also agree and at first intended to write that it smells a bit
old fashioned – upon reading that review I’m now reminded
to and thereby editing this post – YES transports u back in
time just like she said as well as it’s “almost vintagey”. Yep!
Just wore Aerin’s Lilac Path all day now going to bed w/this.
I find it too energetic (it’s the citrus). Not a nighttime perfume

I was a bit afraid of Stella. Bitter orange and lily sounds like a combination that could become screechy and headache causing on my skin. Thankfully that didn’t happen.
Stella starts with fizzy, sweet blood orange and some bitter orange. I don’t find the top notes watery, but sparkling and fresh.
Lily is creamy, clean and a bit spicy here. The heart of the perfume is very white floral with hints of the orangey top notes. The bitterness of the orange becomes more obvious here. Some reviewers say they smell gardenia instead of lily, and I don’t disagree completely, though I’d rather say that the scent developes from lily to a general fresh white floral scent. Especially in the base I get white flowers with a lot of clean “fresh out of the shower” musk.
This is a nice scent, maybe a bit too clean and cold for me, but surely just right for someone else.
I think it shouldn’t be overdosed or it could become a bit screechy, but when it’s sprayed lightly, it doesn’t. The musky base lasts quite a while.

I get a mature blood orange and jasmine scent. A cross between pure poison and Britney curious. It’s basic. I’d rather splurge and go for the dior.

was so orangey and nice at first spray then quickly went to an orange blossom scent which was nice but then I don’t know what happened. I can’t pin point what i am smelling maybe its the Freesia but it smells like Gardenia and its headache inducing. It also happens to have a very good projection and staying power. Wouldn’t you know it? The headache inducing fragrance is the one with the great staying power. I can’t get it off and it smells so bad.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

For a moment, it’s quite lovely, demure, and innocent. A vintage scent almost. Like be transported back in time. Imagine a dreamsicle but not sweet. But I find it a waste of money as it’s longevity is less than that of a body spray. Once the citrus dies down, I get the watery notes which smell like…water..so nothing and then it disappears. A for effort. F for follow-through.

Stella opens juicy and bright with lots of blood orange, blooming into waxy lily and sweet, sharp freesia. Its base is a clean, sudsy musk. The fragrance, particularly during the heart-dominant phase, reminds me very much of a favorite honeysuckle soap from years long gone, and my overall impression of the scent is uplifting and elegant with a touch of sweet suds. Its sillage is moderate, and longevity excellent. And that beautiful Old World-esque bottle – it really is as heavy and as intricately detailed as it appears – though the Tocca caps seem to be plastic now, despite having been metal once.
My favorite aspect is how the blood orange persists throughout, juicy and ebullient, a longevity of citrus that is often hard to find. The lily brings a mature sexiness to Stella – still flirty, but with sophistication. If anything leaves me a bit wanting, it’s right as the florals reach their peak – I feel like it would be so rewarding for the scent to take an oriental or woodsy turn into a deep warmth, maybe a soft spice, vanilla, amber, or a heavier, dustier dose of the sandalwood that is mentioned in its notes (but I cannot pick out in person) – but rather than open her arms wide in warm embrace, Stella seems to fade into an airy musk and silently make her escape.
A beautiful siren, but you wake up alone… only a trace of scent lingering in the bedsheets…

STELLA had been a blind buy a couple of years ago. For me, this is a warm-weather fragrance and I hadn’t worn it since this past autumn. In the past, I hadn’t cared for the initial notes which reminded me of supermarket orange soda, but as STELLA dried down within about 15 minutes and I liked the rest of the progression, I didn’t mind too much.
We had a hot day earlier this week and I decided to wear STELLA. I was surprised not to smell orange soda and realized that this bottle of fragrance must have lost almost all of the problematic top notes since the last time I used it. I’ve read that citrus notes can be fugitive, but this hasn’t happened to other citrus perfumes in my collection and I have many that are quite old. (Unfortunately, I don’t have the batch code for this bottle.) The next day was rainy and chilly. I wore STELLA again to see if the orange soda notes were still gone and they were.
In any case, after dry-down with a new bottle – and now from the beginning with mine – STELLA is a light, somewhat sweet floral fragrance with powdery undertones of orange. On me, it develops something of a rose note after several hours, but there’s still just a slight hint of orange. Sillage is soft and although longevity is pretty good, STELLA is almost a skin-scent on me for much of that time. I really do prefer STELLA in warmer weather as on chilly days I find it too soft. In summation, I have to say this is a pleasant fragrance, but not one I’m likely to repurchase after I finish my small bottle.

Starts with a juicy burst of orange, and quickly dries down to a sweet warm floral. I really like the smell, but I wish that it had better sillage and longevity on me.

  26. :

I really wish the citrus stuck around longer for me, because it’s for that opening that I almost impulsively bought a bottle today. At first spray, Stella is juicy blood orange – sweet, but cool and refreshing – with just a hint of lily and sandalwood in the background. About an hour later, though, and it oddly morphs into Britney Spears Curious. I say “oddly,” because these two don’t share enough notes for that to make sense. But it’s true.
For the rest of the dry down, it’s all white floral, musky sandalwood with the barest hint of citrus adding a bit of effervescence. It’s quite pretty, but because of the similarity to Curious, I say save your money and just get Curious instead. It costs much less.
Edit: I bought a bottle of Curious, and I have to amend my earlier review. Stella is better than Curious, and noticeably more citrusy. Curious also smells a bit like hairspray, but I don’t get that from Stella at all. So, sorry to anyone who bought a bottle of Curious on my recommendation, thinking it would be a dupe for Stella. It’s not really.

Very fresh – the citrus really stood out to me. My skin drank this right up, but it has lasted about 10 hours or so on my clothing.
I don’t think that this scent is worth its price tag, but I’m definitely happy that I tried it. Beautiful bottle!

Weirdly, I get very little orange and a whole lot of gardenia and freesia in this one. Gardenia isn’t even listed as a note, so I’m not sure where it’s coming from.
I suppose it’s probably my chemistry. Anyways, on the whole, Stella is similar to a clean laundry scent. Something about it reminds me of what the house used to smell like in the 1980s when my mom did laundry(this is a good thing). When I get closer to my wrist to smell it, I can pick out individual notes. On me, a gardenia note is foremost, followed by a light, airy freesia, then a watery, natural navel orange. It’s a lovely scent and right up my alley… Dry, natural, clean, and not “perfumey”.

  29. :

Upon first spray I was intrigued. There was a robust blast of citrus–a sweet yet kind of sharp and bitter citrus–a biting citrus. I assumed this to be due to the blood orange and orange. I loved it! However, as it turned from citrus to floral, I began to dislike it. I can’t quite articulate what I don’t like (i.e. I am not sure which of the notes I find displeasing), but I am leaning toward it being the lily (or the floral component in general) mixing with the orange. AND that is the part of the perfume that lingers for the longest time! Anyway, to continue, as it dried I got the sandalwood on top of the displeasing citrus-floral component. It just made me want to utter aloud, “blech!”
Anyway, overall the more I wear this perfume the more displeasing I find it. It just isn’t working out well on my skin I guess, which is unfortunate because I loved the opening. Luckily, I only have an 8ml vial. If anyone would love to test this, I would be more than happy to give up my used 8ml vial. Just message me!
Oh, and one more thing, this perfume disappeared on me after roughly 5 hours. 🙁

This is my first experience with blood orange, and I’m pleasantly surprised at how comforting this is to my senses. Immediate first impressions are of an aquatic nature; there’s definitely a note reminiscent of cool and refreshing waters, immediately followed by orange citrus…the floral notes (lilies and freesia) kick in to prevent this pairing from becoming too sharp/sour. After five minutes the dry down beckons with drifts of sandalwood, oranges and orchid…very clean and fresh. I am not usually a fan of citrus/bright accords but this one is soft enough that it doesn’t appear overly synthetic.
My only issue with Stella is that it is a bit too “safe”; although the makeup is unique, it doesn’t provide much pizazz other than the first 15 minutes of fizzy orange soda goodness. I feel like there is so much potential here, yet it falls flat much too soon with its most promising aspects fading away too quickly. I felt like Stella could have done well with a bit of vitality to her, perhaps more potency…it feels watered down, special qualities withering away like forgotten memories. Longevity is almost non-existent, departing almost as fast as it arrived. Sillage is very soft, no projection for such a unique personality.
Overall a pleasant fragrance, but its charm is much too fleeting to be fully appreciated.

I didn’t know oranges could be so alluring and flirty!
Juicy ripe oranges from the very beginning. My mouth even watered when I first smelled this. It smelled succulent and delicious. It is kind of fizzy and sweet but not like orange soda, more like orange sorbet. White soapy florals join the oranges and everything is transformed into laughter and bliss. The white florals give this just the right amount of elegance and skin.
This is A perfect day perfume and yet, just warm enough to be worn at night too. This smells so happy and feminine! Will definitely turn my rollerball sized perfume into a bottle soon!

    Hope you like orange!
Robust citrus teemed with very ladylike floral notes. Smells like the ladies room of a 1940s dancehall.
Can’t decide if I actually like it.

This one is definitely moody, and even petulant. I get the soft floral, tea leaves, perhaps some bergamot, and then the watery smell. It is fresh, and lightly floral, with a little bitterness. I like it, but definitely not my go-to scent; I am grateful to try it out, but my skin is not agreeing with it.

I just love Tocca’s Stella. Floral woodsy blends are one of my favorite and Stella delivers. I may have applied too much from the bottle because I got very good longevity and silage. Has the delicate qualities of Dior’s Diorissimo.

  35. :

Described as “moody as a rebellious young Italian beauty”, Stella is only the fragrance in the Tocca line I’ve fallen in love with. I have to completely drench myself in it to have a chance at any kind of longevity, but I don’t care- as soon as I do, I feel as if I’m lying in the sun in Sicily, half asleep and half drunk. Stella’s blood orange is so sweet and rich it fizzes like a bottle of syrupy Fanta, the freesia-lily-orchid combo is a beautifully killer floral haze, the wateriness is sheer and juicy, and the sandalwood base is cuddly warm. I’ll be buying a full bottle of this one as soon as I get the chance.

I love this, reminds me of my vacation to Mexico and walking in the beautiful market place where they are selling citrus fruits.
The blood orange is so beautiful and the scents that follow really round it up
    Sadly,
    It doesn’t last long though…
I wish it would last longer, this would be my favorite perfume if It did.

I find Stella to be frustrating, because wearing this scent was like listening to my favourite song with the volume turned right down.
I really wanted this one to be stronger. All I got was a linear fragrance that was a faint whisper of orange rind with fresh white flowers, that faded away into a musky base, but what I was smelling was just so beautiful. It was pure, innocent, ethereal, transparent. The type of thing that I’d spray and wear in the summertime with a white dress or to the beach with abandon.
This would be a stunning scent on the right person, someone whose chemistry loves the first three notes and really amplifies them. I think possibly the sillage would blossom beautifully in warmer weather, though; I’ve so far only worn this on an overcast day. Very soft sillage; only lasted for about 3 hours.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Smells very beautiful to me, but when I asked my husband to smell it and tell me what he thought, he said he couldn’t smell anything. He can usually give a pretty viable opinion. The sillage just isn’t there on me. I could smell it about 2 hours, but want a perfume that my husband can enjoy as well. Longevity and sillage leave much to be desired. A shame! Happy smelling! 🙂

I adore Stella … it’s fresh, sultry, and original. It smells like no other perfume, which is why I love it. I would say normally I’m not a fan of citrus, mainly because it can tend to be stuck in the top notes, bathed in alcohol which gets up my sensitive nose. In Stella, the citrus is properly balanced by the florals and is my go to fragrance when I want to feel cheerful. It’s pretty without being cloyingly feminine.
I’d gone to London on a trip and found a SpaceNK and tested Tocca Florence, which I fell in love with. You know how it is, staring at all the testers, enjoying the discovery of new fragrances. But I was sort on time, so later when I’d gone back to my hotel, it was all I could think about, making sure I purchase it before I head home the next day. Well I went back, and somehow ended up purchasing Stella instead.
I ended up getting Florence later, but love both equally. Stella is more unique than Florence, even though both are beautiful. I feel Florence is more grown up and romantic, whereas Stella is a little more vibrant and fun.
I do feel, however, that Stella really lets me down in longevity. I get maybe 2 hours if I’m lucky. I can put it on before going shopping and later I don’t even know I’ve put it on, and I’m sniffing, and it isn’t even in my clothes. Really sad. I don’t know if my skin chemistry has changed as I’ve gotten older or if it’s just Tocca’s perfumes, but most of their fragrances don’t last very long on me, except for Cleopatra, which is a shame, because it’s not my favourite. Stella’s so pretty but is so fleeting that I’ve been looking for new fragrances that might last a bit longer on me. I’m so jealous of the others who’ve posted saying they get great longevity.
I consider Stella to be my signature fragrance, but have received a bunch of Maison Francis Kurkdjian samples to get through, and it may well be replaced soon.

I tried and LOVED Tocca’s Cleopatra, so I gave Stella a try today. Stella went 100% white floral on me. It smelled just like a creamy gardenia scent for the first couple hours. Not my favorite floral, but smelled very rich, not synthetic or overly sweet. Dried down to a warm, super soft musk that was barely noticable. I really missed the citrus, sounds like it would have cut the floral nicely.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I took Stella for a spin today, as it’s an oppressively hot late spring day and I was craving something citrusy and refreshing. The initial blast of blood orange and bitter orange was just what I needed, but it faded too quickly and turned into a generic-smelling soft floral, primarily freesia. I was looking forward to the citrus-lily duet but sadly, the lily never surfaced. Within four hours, the fragrance faded to a plasticky musk, and I was left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. Luckily, I only purchased a small sample, so no harm done to my wallet.

This was the first I have tried from the Tocca line. It opens with a bright, sweet orangey scent that softened but still lingered for most of the day. Once the citrus died down a bit I got a light sweet floral and a soft almost fuzzy musk. The sandalwood did not make much of an appearance on me. Very very faint towards the end of the day. This scent lasted nearly 10 hours on my skin. I could still smell it the next day on the shirt I had been wearing when I sprayed it. Very nice, sweet scent. I love that it is sweet but not candy sweet. Definitely will be in frequent rotation with my other favorites.

  45. :

This is very bright and crisp – but on me, this literally smells like a squeezed an orange on my skin. It’s alllllllllllllll citrus and no floral on me. I do get a little musk, but only slightly. I do think this is very lovely though, but it’s cheaper to zest and orange, rub it into some unscented Target lotion and use that – I would smell the same. Alas, it’s pretty, but way too orangey on me.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I tend to judge fragrances by their bottles (I know, I know, this is bad), so I almost didn’t smell this one. The packaging made me think that it would smell like roses and old papers or something. But I’m a sucker for citrus, so I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did.
If blood orange flower water existed (does it??), this is how I’d describe Stella. It’s slightly floral, very orangey and pretty.

  47. :

As people mentioned, it started off with a sickly sweet Orange Fanta smell that I hate, but once it tries down, it becomes so beautiful. It’s clean yet warm, sweet yet not cloying at all. It’s musky and sexy, but also very bright and refreshing at the same time. I didn’t expect to like it so much, and many people complimented me on it. They all said that it smells really classy, and assumed that it was a designer perfume. Definitely a gem!

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Comes on with a sudden strong Fanta Orange Soda blast, and then quickly turns into one sexy scent.
Not smutty sexy, it is a natural sweet and tad bit bitter citrus fruit with flowers – without help and no sign of vanilla, sugar or candy – blended so well with a clean skin musk and out of this world sandalwood.
    So smooth. So classy. Sensual.
I do not see a similarity to Britney Spears` Curious or D&G Light Blue as others have commented –
I do sense a little freshness of the water note, an aquatic ?
But it`s not very prominent with my senses.
I do not usually like many aquatics.
I love scents with orange and citrus, love to layer with citrus body sprays , so have to have care when picking a fragrance so I can TRY to stay well rounded, and not pick the same citrus/fruit/floral over and over… but with this, I would not have that fear.
There is a little nostalgia factor going on, must be the sandalwood, not overly incense-y.
I have to rate a 9-10 as far as my love for it.
    Sillage is 7-8
Longevity – well, we shall see. I have had on for 2 hours, and it still is very present.
Could very well be my next buy 🙂

I own the mini of this and i love the smell but sadly it makes me feel sick and its one of the very few perfumes that gives me a headach 🙁 its a very pretty smell tho and if it didnt make me feel so bad then i would wear it all the time.

“Stella is a breathtaking perfume. An opening of blood orange and creamy lily is sweet, but never too heavy. It segues into a floral heart of smooth freesia and white diamond orchids. It’s smooth and sexy, bawdy but never tacky. Despite the litany of ultra-femme florals it contains, this perfume veers towards unisex with a finish of dry sandalwood and sheer musk but manages to stay just this side of feminine, giving it a sexy and impetuous charm. Blood oranges originated in 17th century Sicily and this scent hints at the intrigue and beauty of Renaissance Italy. Sillage: good. Longevity: above average.” cafleurebon.com

One of the most soft, sensual, warm fuzzy and elegant citrus scents I have ever smelled! Love her! And the bottle is so vintage and beautiful… The scent is not loud or vain, rather it is quiet and demure…but definitely will draw you in…wearing this to the office tomorrow for sure!

I’m a citrus lover, an orchid lover, and a Tocca lover so this was a must have for me. This isn’t your typical orange blossom or lemony citrus scent. The blood orange in this is the star and boy does it smell amazing. The way it’s infused with the musk, sandalwood, and florals is beautifully balanced and creates a woody citrus aroma with just a hint of sweetness. It’s not a typical fruity scent in that it’s not too sweet or synthetic. This smells like pure citrus; like walking through the orange mangroves in Florida on a beautifully overcast day. In fact, that’s exactly what the scent reminds me of. Nice sillage and decent longevity. This one lingers, especially on clothing. I enjoy this in any weather and think it’s suitable for any occasion.

    Gorgeous blood-orange floral.

Opens with a bloom of orange and lily. The citrus doesn’t last very long, but after it quiets down it lends a very light juiciness to the scent. Light, flirty floral floating over a softly spiced, softly musky sandalwood. A very light-hearted and inoffensive scent. Good for summer, work, casual backyard cookout. Unique enough to keep my interest but crowd-friendly as well. Honestly, this would be a good “first time meeting the boyfriend’s parents” scent.

I came across Tocca just recently when trying their newest fragrance at Sephora (Simone — and I love it!).
So I started testing the others. There were a few that were okay and a couple that I seriously didn’t like. And then came Stella.
It has both a very fresh and a very warm quality at the same time, with a little bit of sweetness thrown in.
To me, it is not a common, ho-hum fragrance but unique and just beautiful each time I get a waft of it, which I am able to do for quite a long time after applying.
    Gorgeous very classy bottles, too.

There’s a powdery floral note with a stale whiff of public toilet. All the Tocca perfumes smell like that to me, so far…

I love the tocca range. Cleopatra and Margaux being my favourites.
Stella took me back to my childhood
by evoking the the smell of an orange flavour boiled sweet, and that was about it ! It lacks the emotions and oomf of the other above mentioned perfumes.
I’m afraid to say that it’s nothing special. But if you’re like me and have to have the whole tocca range, then you have to try it.

I have been a fan of Tocca forever. Stella is easily one of their friendlier scents and judging by the activity at the Tocca friends and family sale it seems to be the m
