First time trying a clone fragrance, but since Alexandria has high praise I figured I’d take a chance. This is not identical to Sublime Vanille, but close enough to please most.
Compared both separately and by one wrist of Splendid and the other wrist Sublime. Sublime is far better blended and smooth from beginning to end. Splendid’s initial blast is strong and discordant, then levels out after a few minutes. The bourbon note is a little heavier in Splendid, but remains in the not too boozy range for me. The light lemony note is less present. Overall, Splendid is slightly more dense and ever present closer to the skin. Sublime remains light and airy, and projects like a gentle aura. After 5 hours Splendid is a skin scent on me, while Sublime is still projecting gently for about 7 hours. Both are easily summer scents.
In the end I still love Sublime, but Splendid is a definite like! I like to over spray Sublime exactly because it is airy. Those sprays are not cheap! Splendid is similar enough to be full bottle worthy, even though it doesn’t last as long or project the same way. Splendid can be re-sprayed as often as you like without guilt. Can afford to wear everyday instead of just special occasions, and you don’t have to feel heartbreak at the bottle almost being empty… another will not break the bank.

I not feeling this one. It’s really kinda meh… nothing I’d buy a full bottle of. Citrus,a bit of vanilla, That’s all I get…unless I got a bum sample,,I don’t get it.?

This is a great fragrance if you’re itching for Sublime Vanille from Creed, but don’t want to dish out the big bucks. There are, however, a few differences that may make or break it for you:
Splendid Vanille, here, leans slightly more citrus and “fresh” on my skin, the creaminess is still there (with a heavier load of tonka in the drydown, it picks up almost a bit hairspray-like because of the citrus combo), the unique almost dry vanilla is there – the two scents are the same type of “non-gourmand gourmand”, where it’s clearly vanillic, and very delicious, but not exactly edible. Sublime Vanille from Creed however, does lean a bit more hazy and sweet, thicker, and a hint more powdery – which I do prefer.
I would say for the price, it’s a good way to get your fill, but not an exact matchup!
Splendid Vanille, as a standalone scent, is ideal for a vanilla-lover’s summer scent! This sits very close to the skin, and lingers for a bit, but definitely won’t be cloying or overpowering in the warm weather. In the drydown, it picks up that “warmed beach skin” feeling, is reminiscent of a vacation, and is all around sunny, sparkling & enjoyable!
Important Edit: I am consistently blown away by the performance of this fragrance over Sublime Vanille. EASILY 10-12+ hours on clothes, and 4-6 on skin. Really clings. Projects moderately. Amen.

This is Alexandria Fragrance’s Inspired impression of Creed’s Sublime Vanille. Full disclaimer I am a vanilla fiend and over the past 10 years I have tried a number of vanillas from a variety of brands. By far my favourite is Mona Di Orio’s Vanille but that’s a discussion for another time. The thing with the vanilla note is that almost every brand has one. If it isn’t the star player than it is definitely in the mid and/or bottom notes.
SB is not a cupcake vanilla fragrance. It is not straight up sugar bomb, rather this is a complex, multi layered vanilla. The top notes will hit you with a vanilla but blended very well with lemons and bergamot. They balance each other out very well and I would say the vanilla dominates the citruses in the opening. The mid and bottom notes are a mix between vanilla, lemons and tonka bean. The tonka bean and the vanilla complementing each other in the dry down. As a side note if you would like to try something that is Citrus over Vanilla try Alexandria Signature. Its is not my cup of tea, but it might work for you.
Performance wise I get great projection for the first 4-5 hours and longevity for about 7 hours. A solid scent compared to Sublime Vanille where I only got 3-4 hours longevity and far less projection.
Compared to Sublime Vanille, Splendid Vanille is 95% the same scent. After the first 30 min I had a very difficult time telling the two apart and others could not tell the difference when I made them smell both fragrances back to back. Price wise you will most certainly be getting more value for money as Splendid Vanille not only lasts longer but is a fraction of what Sublime Vanille costs.
This fragrance is definitely signature scent worthy and is diverse enough to be used in most seasons and occasions.
Overall, for me this is full bottle worthy. An excellent vanilla to join my collection and I would recommend that you at least try Splendid Vanille if vanilla is your thing…and even if it isn’t!

A very nice well done scent that leans feminine to my nose and doesn’t have much longevity on my skin. It is a powdery sweet musky scent to my nose. On my wife it does last 5 to 6 hours and she loves it. So it’s a winner. Enjoy!

The answer to Sublime Vanille lovers’ dreams. Well done!

Awesome! Almost identical, Better than Sublime IMHO
Starts off louder than Sublime Vanille.
Almost hurt the first few times I spritzed but it settles in to a long lasting, outstanding dupe, seriously, I’ve got them one on each wrist and this one is the one for me.
If you love the quiet, insipid type opening on the creed this could be offensive at first because boy what a kick but my olfactory sense is used to it now and I’m enjoying a long lasting vanilla velvet.
I’m super excited, woot woot!!!!

Where do I start with this one, OMG! Splendid indeed, I am not going to go into detail on the stages this fragrance takes you through but all I can say is, it’s one of the most seductive vanilla fragrances I have came across, this is its own scent, forget creeds version. This one tops the peak for me, beautiful sweet and slightly powdery vanilla, yes I get compliments all the time with this. Well done to hany!!!
