I have never reviewed a perfume and I can’t say I am an expert, but what I do know is that this smells amazing. To me it smells like coconut and fruit and a tropical breeze. It is never cloying. It smells fresh and you can tell it is a quality product.
I first sampled sunkissed as per a Fragrantica review and I fell in love with sunkissed and south water.
    They both smell amazing!
I’m not sure I can see a man wearing this but I would not be opposed to smelling it on my husband. It smells that good.
I live in the cold prairies of Canada and let me tell you, right now when it’s freezing cold nothing makes me happier then a spray of this scent. It’s almsot like a tropical daydream.
I have many scents but I will have no problem using this entire 100ml bottle!

The first *refreshing* vanilla-coconut blend that I’ve ever met, and it’s tasty enough to drink! A good dose of amber adds lasting power to this gem of a perfume. Out of the Lili Bermuda 11-course tasting menu, South Water is second only to Paradise in terms of projection and lasting power. Leaps and bounds more to my liking than Creed’s Virgin Island Water, which was cloying on my skin. Coconut milk endures to dry down, and reminds me of Olivine Atelier’s Amongst the Waves. This is Vacation, bottled.

One of the sweetest first impressions I’ve ever encountered. It dries down to the “ozonic” phase quickly and stays there.

Pleasant fragrance but I was expecting something fresher, “thinner” and not so sweet.

I’ve completely changed my mind about this, although I really wanted to like it. It’s nothing like you would expect. It isn’t fresh, it’s vanilla sweetness that smells exactly like women’s shampoo. Very feminine and I normally like unisex frags.
Disappointing. Oh well, I’ll just stick with the amazing Virgin Island Water for my tropical fix, that one actually is unisex.

South Water is a dreamy creation with tremendous longevity. It is mainly about vanilla ; a fresh, fruity vanilla, though. Those who are shy about wearing gourmands will be pleasantly surprised, as this one smells very natural and is so easy to pull off. My only complaint is that it is quite linear. It remains that South Water can hold a candle to Virgin Island Water by Creed, only at a fraction of the price… and that is good news!!!

I may have reviewed this before. Not sure! To me, this is a pleasant beachy smell. However, I found it very feminine. I don’t find it suitable for myself. I think I would find it strange on a man – but everyone is different! Smells good nonetheless!

This one is so criminally underrated underrated, l had to review it!
Not sure where the notes listed in Fragrantica come from, but the leaflet that comes with box list notes as follows: Guava, coconut and sea salt.
First thing I gotta say : This is one of the most natural smelling fragrances I know: THe coconut smells like a freshly split coconut, especially the water inside… Its really different from the suntan lotion synthetic coconut note you’d find elsewhere… Same with the guava.
Though it is sold as unisex, it may lean a bit too much on a feminine side for some, because of the coconut… But I gotta tell you this is probably my most complimented fragrance since the beginning of spring, everyone loves it, my colleagues, my girlfriend, random people on the street. It just smells like happiness, the kind of perfume that puts you in a good mood on your way to work, while you’re dreaming of a white sandy beach somewhere far away…
The scent itself doesn’t evolve much, it is quite linear, but what a smell! The performance is quite impressive for a summer scent. I get easily 8 to 10 hours with this one in longevity, though with moderate projection… For less than 60 USD for a 100ml bottle it one of the cheapest niche scents, but the quality is definitly high.
18/20 for me. Spring / summer jewel !

I purchased the sample library, and while I found all of the scents to be excellent, this was the one that stuck out the most. Will be picking up the 100ml bottle.

This stuff smells so good you could become a canibal if used properly/improperly, you would eat it if you could. This is right up there in the top of my favorite spring and summer colognes. Great scent and great packaging plus two large free samples. Yes Bermuda.

South Water has knocked Kenzo pour Homme off my signature shelf.
I dig a surprise, but here I got treasure island. It’s definitely an organic, classy and unique fragrance.
This SW gem brings my buccaneer spirit out to play, day or night.
Any time I want to feel great and a fresh boost of life.
A few sprays out of this bottle may just uncover a carefree genie floating by.
I have a basic awareness of essences I’ve experienced, BUT the individual scent notes listed in description above differ from Lili Bermuda’s official description of ‘tangerine with ozone breeze, coconut milk, juicy guava, gardenia petals, cactus sap, sea salt and white musk’.
What I do sense immediately is a fresh organic breeze, a great blend of orange, coconut, vanilla and something else binding that.
Then a tropical floral comes through, in the right proportion that still makes it cool for guys.
Settling in, there emerges an underlying subtle woody note, but the earlier notes are still present through the wear.
For me, I would NOT consider that any sweet, powdery, or generic citrus have any significance here.
It’s just a great balance of what it is. An intriguing complex that works, plays and stays, good time for all. Class in the tropics.
I had to order SW directly from the maker in Bermuda, as where I am on Gold Coast no one stocks it.
This was a rare blind buy for me, and made it to the top shelf.
    I feel lucky!!

It is another unisex Eau de Cologne created by the Bermuda Perfumery, with total inspiration in Bermudas Islands. However, on the contrary to what happens with Fresh Water, which has poor longevity, this one surprises and behaves like a real Eau de Toilette. And this can be explained thanks to the notes of its composition, which brings Tangerine, coconut milk, guava and gardenia petals, followed by a note of cactus SAP and a base of musk and sea salt.
It is a tropical delight, which touches the skin fruity and juicy, with great presence of the coconut nuances, dominating the evolution of this fragrance with great competence. Here, the other notes are only supporting cast, which arise from time to time to embellish, even more, this creation.
It is important to clarify that, although unisex, South Water tends more to the taste and feminine style, in the same way as Fresh Water tends more to male taste. Also, there are reports of its similarity with Creed Virgin Island Water, although I still don’t know this one. But I can remember a lot of a fragrance by GAP, called Island Hop, which had this same juicy characteristic and was filled with nuances of coconut.
I really liked the proposal and, of course, the fragrance, which projects very well.

This is a pleasant, “crusty” kind of vanilla that smells, to me, quite a lot like a Fun Dip stick. I’m attributing that crusty quality to the sea salt note. Maybe the orris is also a contributing factor as it can smell a bit earthy/dusty.
I personally don’t get the connection to Virgin Island Water because all the VIW’s I’ve smelled have been very limey. Of course I’ve heard about the batch variations etc etc, but I always smell more lime than coconut and that’s from more than a handful of samplings.

I have Virgin Island Water, and thought I would buy this as the reviews on here seem to place it in the same camp. Paid £20 for 100ml on EBay which is great price. First spray – very Tropical and coconut and a lot sweater than Creed. Transports me to summer (Its December 12th and cold and bleak outside here in the UK). Figured this would be my alternative from Creed, but loving it so far….

OMG this is amazing! It’s gonna be my signature fragrance for hot days. I love it so much.

I love marine scents and this is one of my favorites. It definitely has the salt water scent but without all the murkiness that so often accompanies marine accords. It smells so clean and lovely, it’s like stepping out onto the most pristine beach in an impeccable breezy white linen dress. It tells the story of a woman who is casual and fun but also refined and graceful. I think any woman would enjoy being the girl who smells like this.
Delicate young coconut and sea water are definitely present, although not listed in the “pyramid”. The guava is very sheer and not sour.

I love, love, love this. I have always been drawn to aquatic scents but they often turn chemically or even worse, old lady powdery. Instead this is a slightly fruity, clean scent. Light but ever present the scent emits different notes throughout the day. Very similar to Creed’s Virgin Island Water but slightly sweeter and softer. I found my happy scent.

My first actual review *yay* –
I will preface this by saying I only got this last night and gave it one full wearing today but so far I am in love with it!
The initial spray reminds me of a coconut sunscreen lotion but it is so much more. Its really a lovely soft sugary coconut with a feint fruity scent dancing around in the back ground. I keep moving my hand around my tired nose getting whiffs of this beautiful fragrance and my mind does a time warp back to soft sands of South Beach walking along the shore trying to collect seashells. The creamy coconut stays from start to finish but after a few hours is starts to get just a little heavier like a spice is trying to break through.
The Lili Bermuda list this as a Cologne but Fragrantica says it is an EDT… it preforms like an EDT as the wonderful calming scent stays all day long (put on at 6am and could still smell it at 6pm). The price is another good selling point as a 100ml was only 65$ plus 15$ s&h. The delivery time only took about 2 weeks from the moment I ordered until it arrived via certified mail.

This one is the most beloved and interesting for me among the Lili Bermuda’s creations. Fantastically harmonious combination of guava (Fruit of Paradise) and the coconut milk supported by tonka beans and vanilla in a very delicate way. I actually do not feel that salty shade that others mention – perhaps, because of my own skin chemistry – but this perfume is still a “seashore type” for me. Luscious and even little bit (only a little) powdery on it’s base notes, yet fresh and juicy – strange and beautiful combination making the perfume suitable for wearing during a heat. The joyful fragrance that may lift one’s spirits up whether it’s a man or a woman who wears it.

I can’t get enough of South Water. It’s definitely a fair-weather scent, perfect for sunny days, and yet it’s a bit like a time capsule: I find myself turning to it when the weather is dreary and wet, and I want to remind myself of the warm dry days in early summer.
This fragrance manages to take the tropical notes of guava, coconut and vanilla and turn them into something really sophisticated, but at the same time, gentle and beguiling. It’s a bit alkaline and milky – comforting like a cup of tea under shady trees. It has a nice projection, about 2 feet from the body.
I’d highly recommend this scent to men or women that are drawn to innocent, salty, and seacoast perfumes. Beautiful creation.

So fantastic summery scent. Just unbelievable how this warm, not citrus, not watery or marine fragrance works in hot days. It is fruity for sure, a little sweet, with coconut and freshly cut grass – I love it. It doesn’t last for very long time (on my skin for about 3-4 hours) but what to expect for 60$ – just apply it again and be happy. South water is different than everything I have and I know. Two years ago I spend my vacation in Egypt and I remember old-fashioned perfume store selling fruity perfume oils for massage. They offer one with strong note of guava – south water is like that. A little oily with prominent smell of warm skin after swimming in very salty sea water. Probably everybody knows what I mean. The best vacation in the bottle. The another impression comes to my mind – 5 years ago I had chance to be on Isla Taboga, small island close to the Panama coast. I spent there only one day but I remember perfectly smell of the fruits people were selling on small market and little restaurant serving deep fried bananas – all together create similar very pleasant aura like South Water does. I wish everybody at least try this masterpiece.

I get sea water when I wear this. I wore it on Saturday and all of a sudden got this whiff of sea water. It reminded me of the warm Caribbean breeze blowing off the water. Definitely a keeper and my summer scent.

Gourmand fruity aromatic, the harmony of woody iris and sweet base is very interesting.
