Surprised there’s dislike for this one. Maybe people expected it to be lighter, but it’s a syrupy, narcotic floral. Dense and lush. I really love it.
Also seconding the previous reviewer who said Dame’s customer service is top notch. Nothing but excellent service from their website. And suuuuuper reasonably priced small/sample sizes, which I love.

OOOOoo – This is a special fragrance. I have never smelled another perfume like it (and, believe me, I’ve smelled a LOT of perfumes). I live in the Sonora Desert, in Arizona, and although I’m not sure which particlar type of Epiphyllum this soliflore emulates, I am familiar with this scent in the air. It’s like an instant flash of memory after a hot rain. Deep, Rose-like lush greenness, and a vision of Spanish architecture beneath palm trees, Lady Banks Rose, and Saguaros. It’s sappy green, unusual, tenacious, unique. I love it. Full bottle soon to be mine.

This came as a sample with my most recent order.
Having never smelled a cactus orchid before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, so my review is based on florals known to me.
To my nose, this opens up a photorealistic peony and dusty rose that is a very upfront, dry green floral.
As it dries down, a slightly juicy, lemony sweetness shines through that softens up the composition, drawing it into your skin from the in-your-face flowers of the opening.
You also can’t beat the customer service. Mr. Dame seems to understand that in order to fall in love with a fragrance you must first get to know it, so getting an order is like Christmas with all the samples. It works, I came looking for one thing, and have placed orders for things I never would have imagined I would like until I got a sample and had to have more when the vial was empty.
