Description

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is unexpected, sultry and addictive solar floral scent. It evokes emote private islands where summer lasts all year. Tom Ford’s latest private blend creation unapologetically exudes the endless pursuit of sun and luxury that defines Tom Ford Soleil.

The top note of the unisex fragrance combines spicy notes of cardamom and pink pepper with a hint of pistachio and bergamot. Flowery sensuality of ylang ylang, Egyptian jasmine and tuberose are placed in the heart of the fragrance for carnal intensity. Benzoin a herbal substance contained in oil of bitter almonds, amber, tonka bean and coconut milk form the luxurious base.

Available as 50, 100 and 250 ml Eau de Parfum.
Soleil Blanc was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Gracia-Cetto.

Am I the only one thinking that this one is much more a fall / winter / early spring scent than a real spring – summer scent?
I find it way too warm / sweet to be worn during hot days.
It brings some warmth during the colder days, like currently!

Got it as a sample with purchase and went right out and bought a bottle beautiful but a little over priced would buy again though.

This perfume is exactly like the pyramid is made of
except that the jasmine is more strong on me.
    I like it very much!!
You have to like white florals and coconut-beachy fumes.
Yes, it’s somehow like Bronze Goddess and Elle L’aime by Lolita Lempicka.
There are other few perfumes to mention.
It is rather expensive for what it is Mr.Ford.
    That’s all.

In theory this is very feminine and many wouldn’t call it unisex by any stretch of the imagination. But like the smooth cold-white floral vibe of Armani Prive Vert Malachite, I like wearing this. Maybe not to work, or doused with a heavy hand before going out to dinner, but to enjoy when among close friends or during some alone time, this offers a fresh, sweet tropical feeling that I enjoy thoroughly. Part suntan lotion, part tropical garden, this is a really good one. And the silage and longevity is off the charts. I sprayed the back of my hand and I could smell it on me all night, could smell it on me as I slept and it filled the kitchen as I made my coffee the next morning. This concoction is a beast.

Suntan lotion and floor cleaner grade tuberose in a pretty bottle.
Oh dear…Estee Lauder showing its true colors… I mean scents, again.
But, Shhh… Tom Ford doesn’t know.

I like Soleil Blanc. It’s a nice, safe sort of fragrance, probably better suited to personal care products than fine fragrance, especially considering its poor sillage and tenacity. A lot of notes are listed, but the major players are definitely solar ones, like benzyl salicylate, and lactones like methyl laitone. These impart creamy, suntan lotion connotations to the juice, and they colour the other notes that are present, notably dulling the effervescence of citrus top notes and smoothing floral notes until they are neutralised somehow. Coconut pulp CO2 or ‘aldehyde’ C-18 add to the creaminess and the warm weather feel of the composition.
I notice that they mention benzoin as an ‘herbal’ compound found naturally in bitter almond. Yes, it can be found in bitter almond, and it can also be synthesised via benzaldehyde during benzoin condensation, wherein sodium cyanide interacts with benzaldehyde, eliminating the cyanide ion via proton exchange, ultimately producing benzoin as a byproduct. The resulting aroma chemical has a decidedly camphoraceous note; I wouldn’t call it herbal or agrestic. Overall it likely imparts a coolness and radiant quality to the perfume.
Nothing to really complain about here–Soleil Blanc is what it says it is (excepting the perhaps overstated impact of the notes) and I don’t mind how it wears on the skin at all. My problem with the TF line is, as usual, what you get for what you pay. I just can’t see the value in buying this scent myself.

Superbly nice and ultra soft! So subtle, creamy, and soft. I was in Sephora sampling the body oil and the EDP and loved them. What a nice, soft scent. I smell the amber, tuberose, and coconut the most. The coconut is so light. I think a little more intensity would do this perfume real justice. As soft as this scent is, it lasts the entire day! I sprayed the EDP on my hand in Sephora on Saturday afternoon and could smell it hours later after multiple hand-washes. 10/10.

You’re in the desert now. The sun shines so brightly it is scorching white. Rays hit the dunes of sand, making them glisten like water.
You know what smell to expect. That hot, burning scent that makes your lungs dry and your mouth parched.
    Yet this is not it.
The sky is indeed bright simmering blue, the sun white, the dunes watery with rays, but this is a picture from a high-end fashion magazine. You’re sitting in your comfortable first-class chair on a flight to your next exotic destination, and the glossy chromo pages held in your hand depict a desert so suave you can wear you white high heels while crossing it.
Tom Ford’s “Soleil Blanc” is that picture on the magazine page. It’s the white sun of your luxury, dream vacation. It’s not a desert, but a resort pretending to be one.
I love it. I’m ashamed of how much I love it. I just want to curl inside a bottle of it and never leave.
This is a study of creamy notes. Coconut is actually not the most prominent note to my nose. The creamy tuberose reigns here, I want to say it even smells like the gardenia in Ineke’s “Hothouse Flower” yet far less green. Creamy flowers, creamy amber, creamy benzoin and tonka, even creamy pistachio. It’s so rounded and perfect you can drown in it.
I only wish for a slightly better longevity on my skin.

Not as Beachy as they say. Soleil Blanc can be worn Summer, Spring, & Fall. Either in the Day or Night, dressed up, or dressed down.
Its very Classy, yet Totally versatile.

Did I buy a full bottle retail? Yes, and I don’t regret it. This is perfection to me.
Cardamom, coconut milk, Tonka bean, amber and sprinkling of white florals is my ideal warm weather fragrance and Soleil Blanc is exactly that. It is SO soft, creamy and spiced. Understated, calm and smooth. And thankfully absent the cloying sweetness that ruins so many fragrances for me. The jasmine isn’t painfully overdone, nor is the tuberose or coconut. It’s so well balanced, it’s subtle perfection.
It’s what I was hoping Bronze Goddess would be.
I love nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. I love warm milk. I love the way these scents make me feel. I love coconuts, the meat, the milk, the shell. I love Soleil Blanc. Love it. It’s delicate and gentle and just perfect.
I’m simple and easy to please, I buy and wear things that make me feel something.
This isn’t a multidimensional, unfolding masterpiece. It’s quite simple, and linear after the opening, like most TF PBs. I love that, too. Sillage is light to moderate, longevity is around 6 hours. Both could be better.
One point off for price. Always test multiple times before you buy. Golden rule of fragrance, especially for those that cost a ridiculous $230 for 50 ml.

This smelks like Yves Rochers Secret d` Essence de Neroli. Thats it for me. Again overpriced and not as special as one thinks!

  12. :

Just for the heck of it, I did a direct comparison with EL Bronze Goddess today. Conclusion: Soleil Blanc is superior. SB has a gentler, more natural scent, and it lasted much longer than the BG. Bronze Goddess smells a bit more synthetic and more “cosmetic”. If you just want to smell like classic suntan oil for nostalgia sake, then BG would be fine and fun.
As a perfume, Soleil Blanc has grown on me over the past year. High price point, but the quality is there. Over a few hours it relaxes into a softer scent with a hint of cola. If I lived at the beach, I would wear Soleil Blanc all summer.

  13. :

Beach, coconut, creamy, sunshine, salty sweat. This is enjoyable, but not particularly long-lasting or special.

  14. :

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! It smells exactly like suntan lotion, straight up. Sexy! Sultry! Only critique is that it lacks longevity. Although I love it and it smells like summer at the (nude) beach, I would not actually wear this to the beach (yes I wear perfume at the beach). I think the scent of Soleil Blanc puts me in a longing state. I will wear it in the heat of the city or at the park with the family when I am *wishing* I was at the beach. Aaahh!

Recently I’m very obsessed with this scent. Definitely whole bottle worthy. For me it’s coconut without being sweet (thank god) with seaweed and seasalt smell. This part almost smells like sweat… in a good way. Very sensual without yelling “I’m hot”

Smelled nice in the shop, so I put some on my wrist.
Coconut perfume (apparently coco de mer, exclusive to the Seychelles)
Really, it just smells like suncream. Nice suncream, but suncream nonetheless.
However, it smells like suncream on a very bronzed body that’s been sun-bathing all day and the body is burning… it has that scorched smell about it as it dries down.
You would think it would be very moreish to sniff but I found not.
It initially reminded me of Creed’s Virgin Island Water, which is also a coconut perfume.
I went downstairs in the shop and sniffed the bottle of VIW – My God…. leagues above this Tom Ford.
VIW is the only coconut fragrance you could ever want, the lime in it just blows this TF away………

  17. :

    5 out of 5

I absolutely love this fragrance. Yes it is suntan lotion-ish but that’s what I love about it. It is so summery. Has a heaviness to it that stays and projects beautifully. There are very few scents I crave but this is one. Like most TF fragrances it has quality notes and a delicious base. I will definitely be wearing this on my next cruise. My newest obsession!

I live an oxymoron. I’ve only been on a beach … one time, in nearly 40 years of life. I prefer my urban dwelling that is surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. But, give me a tropical, coconut cologne and I suddenly become a beach bum on my balcony overlooking non-stop traffic. Maybe that’s one of the best parts about fragrances? I’m stuck where I’m at for awhile and these beachy scents let me get away … sort of. Most of the problems others have noted with this Tom Ford are not happening to me. I have a very nice, somewhat sweet coconut with some light florals floating around behind it. I don’t know if I would buy a full bottle but I find scents like these are worth buying a 1.7 of or if you have a trusted decanter to sell you a 20-30 ml decant of. I’m kind of stuck on whether I like this or Creed’s Virgin Island Water better. I do think the VIW is more masculine than the Soleil Blanc but both are now in my spring/summer rotation. Check back in September, I’ll be all out of these two and the heat of the summer will have me begging for cold weather and I’ll be swearing off coconuts for good. It’s a cycle, you should try it.

Beachy suntan lotion scent. A fun day at the beach..however you could layer this with Carnal flower if you felt the tuberose droned on for too long but it is no where near carnal flower. CF leans green tuberose this is straight coconut beach lotion. I wish the florals were better defined than hazy impressionistic du jour…theres more interesting scents in this genre IMO

I had great hopes for this smells, also was in search of a coconut fragrance.
Unfortunately on me, this smells like insecticide eww…
Do not blind buy thinking you will get coconut, test it beforehand !
Also I have Bronze Goddess in my collection and Soleil smells nothing like it to me…

I tested this at sephora and, sadly, I was disappointed by it.
It opened up very coconut-y. I dont think it resembles the scent of a sun tan lotion, but it does smell beachy. My inital thoughts were that, although plain, it was not a plastic-y or articial coconut, but an enjoyable, non cloying, scent. So far, so good.
After a few minutes, I took a sniff to check if it evolved, and, to my dissapointment it did; to a coconut&ammonia scent. I guess it doesnt work with my chemistry that well, as i do not recall another reviewer having an experience like mine.
The last phase of the scent (which lasted nearly 5 hrs), smelled exactly like the body shop’s coconut body butter with just a hint of flowers, which smells nice dont get me wrong, but not 200euros-nice. The ammonia scent was thankfully gone.
In conclusion, although it is a mostly pleasant, soft and beachy perfume, i will certainly not buy it for the reasons:
    a. The ammonia that appeared as unexpectedly as it disappeared
    b. The similarity with the coconut body butter (which is worth the 1/10 of a 50ml bottle of TF)
Also,my bf commented that although it smells somewhat nice, something puts him off.
    scent:5/10
    longevity:7hrs
    sillage:moderate

I don’t particularly associate the scent with suntan lotion, which I’m glad for. It is very coconut-lime smelling on me. I wasn’t sure I’d go for coconut but I actually really like this. There is some woody smell that I associate more with pencil wood than any kind of plant, but somehow it all works. This smells like sipping a margarita on an island in a beach cabana. I think the projection could be better but I don’t mind it soft either. Also it didn’t last any more than 2 to 3 hours on me.
I’m not sure but I think I may have just gotten myself hooked on something very expensive…… At least they have generous sample sizes.

  23. :

I tested a sample of this and as others have stated it does smell like suntan lotion; however on me in addition to the suntan lotion I get syrup. Thick, cloying, maple syrup. I let it sit on my skin, as I wanted to immediately scrub it off, but the scent never really changed. This is a hard pass for me, and to think I almost blind bought this! What I found to be a great alternative is the toilette version. Same type of scent, but much lighter, summery and fresh and most importantly no heavy maple syrup.

    South Florida, Atlantic coast.
My dad, a Floridian, by way of Philadelphia, grew up in Hollywood Florida, spending much time on the stunning white sand beaches of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. He took us to his old home there, in the 80s. We’d stay there for a few weeks to hide away from the damp cool of Northern California.
Keylime trees, Coppertone ads plastered about, lunches and shopping on famed Los Olas boulevard, Dirty Ernies cafe with baskets of warm Bimini bread, deep fried conch fritters, and steaming bowls of conch chowder, coral stores, palms grazing the heavens….Good times. Beautiful memories of being a little girl and waking up on Christmas morning in 85 degrees and a sunbeam.
This scent is those memories. Lime, sweet, sandy. Sun.
Almost like some tropical drink you’d sip on in South Beach, when you can smell the oil on your arms and the tartness of lime on your lips. Lime Sherbet. Creamy.
Definitely a summer scent. I see white, crisp shirts, white Panama hats with black bands, and clear pools.
Similar to The Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime, yet more complex. Not worth the price though. The Coconut Lime can bring those memories forward too. Low longevity. At least on me. My dry skin seems to “eat up” most scents, sadly.

Sunshine dipped in coconut. A beach “excursion” on the sly after midnight. Best men’s tropical scent, as it’s slightly animalic, at least on me. Beefcake by the ocean.

Just got a sample from Sephora. Unexpectedly wonderful! It behaves differently on skin and clothes. Skin-transforms into more fig, fresh kind of sweetness. Bight fresh very light aroma. While on clothes it’s strong, fig kind of sweetness. Green really fig like. I love the beginning-salty, earthy, broken branches cardamon . Very positive scent! Optimistic and kind

This is my summer scent. It is perfect for a tropical vacation or lying by the pool.
It smells a little bit like sunscreen, but not in a cheap way.
A salesperson at Nordstrom gave me a few samples. I wasn’t looking fo a scent like this so I didn’t expect to get sold on it. I wore it a few days and immediately had to go purchase a bottle. This is definitely the most expensive bottle I own, but it is well worth it and I will be repurchasing it.
I smell a lot of coconut.
I would compare it to Bond 9’s Fire Island. Another great beach scent. This one is similar, but more sweet and floral.

You’re a vapor lingering on the beach, the faded memory of the sun licking your back, a mirage floating on a bright dune near the horizon. Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

Hmm… this one is definitely not worth the price. Just goes to show Tom Ford really does cater to those with disposable income, which is fine, but please don’t buy this one just for the fancy brand. Not worth it! Soleil Blanc is a pretty scent from the bottle, yes, and were it a quarter of the price I’d say that’s fair. But, this is literally a glorified sunblock scent. It doesn’t make me feel like I am wearing perfume. It makes me feel like I slathered Coppertone all over myself and am at a crowded beach or a pool at a resort with a thousand other people wearing sunblock. Not the tropical getaway feeling that some people get from this scent. It might smell wonderful on someone else but definitely try before you buy!

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Suntan oil. That’s it. Pleasant and unisex? Yes. Worth the asking price? Hell no! Unless you’re loaded, don’t waste your money on Soleil Blanc. The average person around you is going to wonder why you smell like tanning oil and your telling them it’s actually a Tom Ford fragrance that costs $150+ per 50ml isn’t going to impress them but convince them you’re insane.
Gorgeous presentation, though, I’ll give them that.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Tropical flowers and creamy coconut, after the first 20 minutes this remains quite linear. Upon application I definitely pick up the bergamot, but like most citrus notes it’s the first to fade. Turns to a skin scent after 2 hours.
I scored a bottle off eBay at a good price. My second time wearing it I sprayed once before bedtime. Seven hours later I can still smell it in my clothes.
Maybe not the most unique perfume but it is transformative: my feet in the sand, the smell of the ocean at sunset, and I’m holding a mixed cocktail with an umbrella in it.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I’m a huge Tom Ford fan, but Soleil Blanc was just bug spray on me, a lifetime of memories of Raid. Heady ylang ylang with tuberose — and I actually like both of those notes, but Soleil Blanc did not work for me at all.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

I bought a bunch of Tom Ford samples from Luckyscent in Dec. to treat myself for Christmas.
This one is really special. It does remind me of far away places… vacation at the Maldives… Hawaiian paradise… Bali at a swanky hotel…Thailand beaches and twilight motorcycle rides along back roads, where I saw baby elephants playing in the lush tropical vegetation… oh my. Memories. Yes, this perfume is certainly made of tropical breezes, fancy hotel restaurants and topaz hued waters. I love it.
However… not to sound negative, but it lasted a mere 2 hours on my skin. I need more staying power than that to justify shelling out my hard earned cash for an over priced bottle of this beautiful, but fleeting juice. That said, well done Tom. This is simply brilliant!

I get a clean tuberose with a coconut and light ylang ylang background. It is a bit warm, a bit sunny and i get a hint of spice. It is a nice fragrance, and it is oily, what i really appreciate, but i prefer Orchid Soleil to this one. Orchid Soleil has more personality and more glamour. It also projects better. I think this one is unremarkable.

    UPDATE: Sept. 2018
Want to wear my SB longer, into fall. Laying it with varias colonia acqua frescas and the results are amazing. Adding a layer of citrus and green takes the fragrance to another dimension. Also layered with some Jo Malone’s and Tom Fords Tobacco Vanille. SB is not just for summer anymore.
August 2018 – The Isle of Capri embodies this fragrance. Mediterranean waters, intense sun, lemoncello, gelato, Marina Piccola, convertible taxis to dinner, posh shops and the latest fashions. Glistening tans, and laid back vibe and dinner at Verginiello’s. SB will forever remind me of my 2018 summer in the sun.
July 2018 UPDATE, I’ve been in Gibraltar about a week. Ran across this in the perfume shops of Main Street. Snatched it up. Perfect pairing, SB and Gibraltar in summer.
Dec. 2017 Testing it. This is a “beachy” scent, but not your local, backyard beach. Unless, your beach is Gold Coast. I smelled this for the first time and I was transported back to my vacation memories in Maui at a swanky hotel on Kanapali Ali. It’s a upscale fragrance. Think poolside holding concocted drinks with colorful umbrellas in them while you sit poolside or oceanside wearing a brand new swimsuit you bought to lull away the hours soaking up sun. It’s what you wear when you are freshly showered, dressed and headed to dinner in the resort’s dining area, all bronzed and aglow. SB is soft and creamy. IMO it is rich and elegant. Thank you, Tom Ford, for having the vision to dress women in fragrance.

This fragrance, to me, is the beach in a bottle! When I smell it I want to spend my time living in the lap of luxury on a warm sunny beach somewhere exotic and tropical. It’s what you want all your suntan lotions to smell like, but it’s a lot more sophisticated. And while it is very long-lasting, its not too overpowering. I’ve sampled it several times….seriously thinking about making the splurge!

  43. :

    5 out of 5

One of my favorite summer scents, very feminine. It truly has its own hidden power, not loud in the face and bold like many fragrances out there. It is sophisticatedly far more advanced than just “coconut summer body lotion”, “sun block” or “sun tan” products. It is rather slowly seductive in an elegant and charming way and then stays consistently irresistible and addictive.
I just simply LOVE it from the first spray, like love at the first sight. It amazingly lasts on my skin until the next day. When I took a shower, a splash of water immediately awaken the scent again. “I’m still here with you the whole time, faithfully caressing”. I don’t mean to sound corny but that is how this fragrance “speaks” to me. Silly me 🙂
To be continued: out of curiosity, I went to Macy’s today and sample tested the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, both Eau de Parfum and Eau Fraiche Skinscent. My final comment is that PLEASE don’t let the “illusion” of fragrance’s similarity cloud your judgements. Relating this very Soleil Blanc with the Bronze Goddess is just like comparing “a cashmere sweater with a fine cotton blend one”. They are both “sweaters in the same size and color and even keeping you warm. But they are DIFFERENT in COMFORT level and MATERIALS”. The phrase “you pay for what you get” still works in many cases!

Not many TOM FORD smells are bright and happy– but this one is! It’s got a sweet-cool thing going on. I wish the color of the bottle was a pale light green because that’s what this smells like.

I love this creamy coconut summer scent!
It’s long lasting and absolutely stunning for warm summer days. Perfect as a tropical vacation perfume too!
However, my husband says it smells of sweat. I somewhat can smell the saltiness on myself and it’s quite depressing since I love the scent. I plan to try again next summer and see if hubby still disapproves. Sometimes scents need to be tried more than once and in different seasons. I feel this is a truly exceptional scent and am tempted to just get the full bottle anyways (and wear it when not around the hubby! Lol!)

Layering!!!! I went to Tom ford counter and just got given a sample of this and I brought the OUD mineral, layering this with soleil blanc is amazing!
On it’s own its a beautiful light fresh tropical mouth watering scent, layer this with OUD minerale and this is off the chain!.
sorry I had to just throw this out there, this is amazing expensive but most certainly good projection and a great feminine scent.

I really liked the initial opening of this fragrance. It’s very easy on the nose; nothing spectacular just summery, coconut-y and warm. However after about an hour, I found it to be quite sickly and couldn’t wait to get it off of my skin. Far too sweet for me!

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Well now this is just yummy. Lovely tropical florals and dreamy, creamy coconut with transient subtle sweetness.
It goes through a moment of being just on the verge of getting a bit “cloy-esque” but never gets there. The cardamom and pistachio perhaps? But again, it controls itself, doesn’t go there, and continues on its happy, beachy, sophisticated journey.
I can see this being compared to suntan lotion, which is not a bad thing in my book, but seriously, I’ve never smelled a suntan lotion this fabulous.
The association is remote. This stuff is really is its own thing.
Sexy, exotic and fun with great performance. Who could ask for more?

  50. :

    4 out of 5

I have smelled this on 3 different people, the 3rd being myself and it smelled different on all 3 people. The fragrance reminds me of laying on the sand at the beach, which is probably owed to the sun tan oil/lotion vibe it gives. I do not get any coconut but on my skin it keeps a light tropical scent and turns a little musky making it very very unisex but on some other people it brings out the floral too much. I think this is one you have to try to see how it reacts to you as many scents are but this one I believe has the ability to go very sweet on some and lighter and muskier on others.
Definitely more of a day time fragrance. I wouldn’t over do it with this but just the right amount with no extras like the oils and body sprays will give you that light refreshing beautiful beach vibe. I did not get any coconut in it, unless the blend with other smells made is blend too much!
On me it lasts a long time and is very pleasant and it dries down and sticks with you, and on the clothing. I believe it is more of a summer scent or a scent for those living in a warm weather climate. It reacts very well and I believe this is something great to put on in the morning and also find a good fragrance to layer it with through out the day as this will last and blend nicely with something for the afternoon or evening hours.

This is one hot, sexy, seductive, beach bunny perfume with some damn good performance and sillage. I layer it with Tahitian Monoi oil for a little extra tropical oomph! I’ve had people chase me down just to know what perfume I was wearing. I can easily wear this dressed up or dressed down and it’s an especially great perfume to wear with a bikini. I’ve worn it to the beach and I’ve also worn it to the neighborhood grocery store, it’s that versatile. I would say it’s even powerful enough to wear in colder weather, but I usually reach for Tobacco Vanille in fall and winter.
My signature fragrance is Frederic Malle’s Carnal Flower and I’m also a huge fan of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess line. Well it seems Tom Ford took the best of both worlds and created this beauty. Ladies this is an absolute must if you are a fan of the fragrances I’ve mentioned. This and Tobacco Vanille are my absolute favorites from this house and the only ones that I can truly justify paying the high price tag for. I’ve been reaching for this steadily through most of spring and summer 2017, it’s definitely full bottle worthy and I’m already about to purchase a backup bottle. The body spray and shimmer oil are definitely worth checking out too.

Didn’t live up to the hype for me. I thought I was going to be dealing with something out of this world. Something new and special better yet original in the least. I feel like too much credit is given due to the brand and designer label. The status of wearing such and expensive fragrance. Which brings me to my next point. I expect much much more than coconut oil and flower mixture. I cook using coconut oil all the time and this smells exactly like it. I’m pretty disappointed. I rather spend my money with Chanel she rarely if ever disappoints. The cost of this not worth it, you could go put on $6 banana boat and get the same results.

A woman came into where I work today wearing a fragrance that I thought was drop-dead sexy. Asked her what it was, turned out to be Soleil Blanc. So there ya go.

I ordered a sample size of this and the more I wore it the more I loved it and decided I needed the full size bottle. My guy says this smells “soooo sexy” on me so take that for what it’s worth 🙂
There’s lots of bergamot and coconut on the top. Once the heart opens I get a lot of Ylang, tuberose, amber and pistachio…the amber kind of reminding me of beach sand blended this way. The overall vibe is definitely all things summer. Coconut, bergamot, a hint of sweat, tropical flowers.
I agree with what the reviewers said when they say it’s similar to other summer fragrances but better quality and lasts forever (I could still smell it on me the next morning). And NOT sugary sweet.
Don’t care for the price tag? That’s cool…I just haven’t found anything else that isn’t too sweet that has such quality of ingredients that lasts this long that I also love. I TRIED looking. Totally worth it to me.
PS- I don’t think this smells like Virgin Island Water either

Very feminine. Sun tan lotion mixed with tonnes of flowers.
I’m not saying it’s bad because I am definitely going to wear it when the opportunity strikes but it’s definitely not on my go-to list.
Slight coconut-y lotion with fairly feminine flowers on the side.
Definitely not comparable to Creed’s Virgin Island Water. Creed’s VIW is VERY coconut-y and this one has a rather soft touch of coconut.

I don’t see it in the notes, but there is something almost hazelnutty about this on me, and while there sure is a big dose of the Bronze Goddess personality in it too, that other note is a dealbreaker for me. It’s not terrible, but it just took the summer right out of it for me. Coconut of course is perfect for summer, pistachio, even almond could be neutral, but what I was smelling was throwing me to winter or Christmas. Yet there is no way I would pull this out in December. Just odd, so unfortunately as much as I love the idea of the fragrance and what it aims for, it’s a pass for me.

Warm, creamy, humid combo of coconut (thick sunscreen style) and yellow florals that seems designed to evoke a crowded beach on a hot day – with sunscreen , sweat, ice cream and tropical florals being the main elements to me.
It’s thick, and lavish, and uber rich like a decadent dessert, as are most of the private blends.
I really liked (loved even) my first sniff of it, but after wearing it for a couple of hours, I realized its not something I will be buying. Too warm and gooey for me, is maybe the best way I can put it.
It’s done quite well though , for what it is, and it will make some folks pretty happy. Performance was good, similar to Venetian Bergamot ( SB a little stronger) , which this has a bit of the same DNA as.
This is at the opposite end of the spectrum from something like Virgin Island Water: two very different beaches –

This is one of the perfumes which I file away in the category of, “Nice, But Not for That Price.” Soleil Blanc is a fun, pleasant sunscreen-style fragrance, a creamy coconut-floral with good longevity that just screams summertime. It’s straightforward and not the most cerebral fragrance, but sometimes that’s nice. For $60, I would buy this. For $200+? Oh, no no no. Too simple to demand that amount of money. You have to be joking.
