It has exactly the same play doo, sweet, sparkly, vanilla vibe as Alchimie by Rochas. But I wouldnt call it a dupe – it is a perfume with its own character.

I have the 1.6 oz EDP spray of So You by Giorgio BH. Wearing it today. At first I thought I got citrus from this. But the sharpness may have been the paprika note. It does evolve and soften after the dry down (about 30-40 minutes).
This is pretty light for an EDP. Not super strong. Projection/Sillage: Moderate.
I think this could be unisex. Amber is prominent. This fragrance stands apart from the GBH line in both its unique blend of notes and its light, airy feeling.
Very reasonably priced and available right now. If you like florals dusted with powdery amber with a little sharp, spicy twist, this may be worth a try. But don’t scrub right away, because it will change in the first hour.

Well played So you. Well played. I blind bought this and immediately after spraying I decided it was a scrubber. That paprika note! Yuck! I put it up for swap.
Anyway, no takers on the swap so I gave it another shot.
I scrubbed too soon. I only needed to wait not even five to ten minutes and the paprika note diminished leaving a wonderful ambery, powdery delight! The paprika stops it short of becoming too sweet but there’s still a sweetness there.
I wore this to bed – many hours later it’s gone a bit orangey/ginger as mentioned before but not unbearable. In an average day it would take quite a number of hours (by then it’s a skin scent) to get to that stage and then I’d just re-spray anyway to get back to that powdery amber. I get the pencil shavings smell too but I don’t mind it at all.
    Think I’ll keep it.

It is a really unusual, sweet-ish, powdery-ish, subtle scent, which has something in it reminiscent of crayons? Or colouring pencils? With a very faint top layer of Mr.Whippy vanilla ice cream. I really don’t know how to describe it! I find it quite delicate, actually, when it dries down, and it’s quite soft. What could be a sickly-sweet scent is grounded by something – maybe the paprika. It’s not a gourmand scent, nor can it be mistaken for a floral. I’m not sure where it belongs. It’s definitely got a synthetic edge.
I remember back in the day that it polarised opinions between those who loved it and those who hated it. I expect it would do the same now. Longevity is not great, maybe 3 hours before becoming a bury-nose-in-wrist scent, and sillage is slight.
I find the scent really quite pleasant but will not be reinstating it into my collection.
TL;DR: nice but weird. Sweet and could nauseate some people.

I have been looking for this forever! All I could remember was the advert with the zebra, and millions of google searches later turned up nothing. I used to smell this every time I was in Boots, but was never impressed enough with the scent to buy a bottle (I was too busy hoarding Escada Sexy Graffiti). I have always loved the advertising on this, the orange, the zebra, the promotion of individuality, the textured bottle, and so on. I’ll be purchasing a bottle for memories sake only, but I’m more overjoyed to finally put a name to this!

I recieved this as a gift and it reminded me of carbonated ginger and orange drink! Wasnt keen on this scent.

To me this scent is simply horrific! I don’t feel any amber at all, no warm spice, no floral, or fruity.
It’s just like a very-very cheap toilet fresher, with lots of paprika in it.
GIFTED – (I have a spare bottle of 50ml if anyone is interested…)

I love it! I wish they would re-launch it. It was the first perfume I ever bought for myself when I was about 12, and I’d buy it again. It’s very unique and it’s a very ¨happy¨ scent. Love it!

The opening reminds me a lot of “L’Or de Torrente” – I suppose in the topnotes (which are not listed here so I’m guessing) are kiwis and angelica.

Actually I’m very surprised to read so many bad comments about this fragrance, because I’ve owned 2 bottles of “So You” for about 5-6 years, got to know lots of fragrances, more expensive than this one, since my first purchase and I still like the smell very much. What more, I’ve registered here to write my review of “So You”.
I like them because when I wear them, I feel happy, younger and crazy 😉 The smell is fairly sweet but not to sweet, the paprika in “So You” is bearable and I usually don’t like vegetable smells – this one is different, not too much paprika smelled. “So You” is sparkling. Not a kind of perfume you smell and imagine a story but I definitely see a picture in it. And I love amber in it.

I remember trying a tester of this and liking it and thinking I must get some of this. Was it warm and spicy? I think it was. Wasn’t keen on the silly orange zebra ad. It made it look like a perfume for stupid people. Somehow I never got around to actually buying it. But I might if I find it somewhere again.

I got this as a present and liked it so much that I bought it for myself when that was done. My last bottle is long since gone.
After reading it’s poor reviews I felt I had to stick up for So You. I loved it when I had it and would buy it again…hopefully I’ll still like it.
update…I forgot about this perfume for a while and then came across a 50ml bottle for

I gave this away, did not like it all!

Strange, but not completely bad. Has something intriguing in it, however, unlike Red, it is not very long lasting.
UPDATE: Ultimately, after spritzing out of more than half a bottle, the rest ended up as a room refresher.

This is one of the worst perfumes ever. The woody smell of “school pencils” strikes back and makes you wonder how tuberose and paprika mixed together could ever become “so you”…
