Description
The new Simply Elixir, carrying the slogan “the new Essence to Wear”, represents the color red and is a sparkling, fiery interpretation of the original chypre-floral composition.
“At first, the rich radiance of blood mandarin is fused with a spicy mix of red ginger and red pepper for an initial freshness. This unfolds into an alluring floral heart where powdery violet, iris and rose gather into an enchanting bouquet enhanced by intense shades of cedar wood. Warm vanilla is wrapped in an enigmatic veil of patchouli, underscored with a suave leather accord to create a mesmerizing signature that lingers.”
The face of this new perfume is German model Toni Garrn, shot by photographer Josh Olins. Simply Jil Sander Elixir is available as a 40 and 60 ml Eau de Parfum, accompanied by a 150 ml body cream.
Simply Jil Sander Elixir was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Christophe Raynaud.

Me and one my perfume collector friends were sampling some
perfumes we never tried before. Simply Jil Sander Elixir was
one of the sample vials in our sample box. It is very lovely
and sophisticated. Well balanced and long lasting.
We both liked this one enough to look for a full size product to buy. I like Jil Sanders’ elegant, clean modern
art type bottle as well. Very Nice.

I didn’t liked this fragrance, the leather is too masculine. It is not that nice „expensive purse „ type of leather that you find in good female fragrances. It smells cheap and the powdery violet doesn‘t help. I wouldn‘t even like to smell it on a man.
This one is a miss to me. Unfortunately, it projects really well.
Well, not every perfume is good.

This is a beautiful fragrance, but the most i get is violet, not leather as i hoped for.
Lasts about 2-3 hours on my skin.

Gorgeous!!! It start off with a fruity, patchouli, gingery cloud, then quickly settles into an alluring sueded leathery veil on my skin. It reminds me of Mogadess because of the deliciousness of the creamy ginger note, although this is much more subtle and less sweet. I think the addition of violet keeps it from getting too gourmand, which is a good thing. This is very sophisticated and sexy stuff.
