Everyone says this stuff smells like grape or bubblegum. I think it gives off a baby wipe/talc aroma and in a sort of good way too. The closest fragrance that resembles this is Dunhill Desire. Silver scent intense is fresh and LOUD as f***.
I overdone it by putting on 4 sprays and it performed like an absolute savage. Complete beast of a fragrance and when it drys down you sort of have this aura and radiate everywhere you go for 8+ hours. I have had so many compliments, the women in my office absolutely love it.
I’m glad this isn’t very well known, by looking at the bottle i think this is thanks to the atrocious design. If I saw this on a shop shelf I wouldn’t pick it up, it looks like it’s from the 80’s, I can just picture David Hasselhoff marketing this in his younger days. Also the sprayer nozzle on this is ridiculous, it pumps out too much.
Go easy on this stuff it is potent.
Something this has taught me…..Never judge a fragrance by its bottle

At first glance, to my nose it smells like grape candy/soda/cough syrup. It’s very sweet, too. The sprayer is by far the best I’ve ever used. Jokingly, it sprays like a half-ounce with just one squeeze. Seriously? One spray is enough. I think you’d choke people with more than one spray. This fragrance is loud.
People aren’t lying. I like it on first glance, but I understand why people say it is disgusting. It doesn’t smell like a cologne. It smells crazy. Definitely not a safe blind buy in my opinion. I’ve never smelled anything like it.
Like the reviewer below mentioned, it does have a cleaning product vibe to it. I get a tire shine or car interior cleaner vibe from it when it’s drying down. That’s what happens when cleaning products get nice scents. Olfactory memory is forever.
If somebody took a dump at a public restroom and the automatic scent dispenser fired before you entered, no matter how nice the cologne or perfume you smell in the future, if it triggers your olfactory memory, you’ll always associate it with that person’s digestive evacuation. The mark is for life.

This smells absolutely disgusting but has decent performance.
I’ve had a friend ask me why i smell like a toilet freshener and when i told him that i’m wearing silver scent intense, he advised me to never wear it again and instead suggested that i use it as a toilet freshener. I believe he compared it to V.I.Poo air freshner.
Fast forward a few months later, a guy came into my place of work and started stinking up the entire place with this intense version or the original silver scent (definitely a silver scent family smell), it was a repulsive smell but the projection was truly ridiculous. I was a good 13+ feet from him but the stink from this flanker or the original was tremendous. I’m not sure if he had a pre-reformulated version of this flanker or the original, but it’s performance was truly remarkable. Easily the best projection that i’ve ever encountered from a perfume, but sadly, easily the worst perfume that i’ve ever smelled.

since Joy covered almost all the key aspects of this perfume, i dont have to include anything for this beast. it is in my rotation from the last couple of years and it is serving me well for casual occasions. the only two thing i want to add here are regarding the viability against the seasons and the age group. As said by others as well it is strictly a cold weather scent but you can use it in spring and autumn as well. secondly, it is to me a good perfume for the age group above 30 as well because of its mature vibe. another thing which i have observed over the years is its suitability for the office setting. you spray once and max twice and you’ll carry a vibe the whole day. one more thing and it is regarding the clones of it……..i have found two more fragrances that are quite similar to it from other brands and they are Sultan from Abeer UAE. the other one is Mystique from Al Haramain.

finally got my hands on this NUCLEAR BEAST….man i love it….i love the original and pure&deep version as well..only the blue one missing.so this is for youngsters in my opinion to all men out there who love a beast mode cheapie but GOODIE…its like grape soda feel with vanilla and loads of bubblegum sweetness.its prolly for cold weather but it will perform any time in the year….in hotter months avoid using it on skin…go on shirt max one and half spray….its the strongest of the line and you will need 10 years to finish this bottle
    10/10 for smell,lasting and value

This one, my friends, is an absolute BEAST!! Seriously one of the best out there, the smell is so fresh and sweet and fruity, yet also manly, but then again also versatile that it could almost be unisex. It opens up like grape bubblegum, I have visions of purple at first and then it dries down to something warm, sweet and comfortable. For the price, this is sensational value, the longevity and projection is insane, I can still smell it on my jacket days later. Wear this if you want to make a statement, if you want people to pay attention, or if you want to leave an impression. I’ve never had more compliments than when I’m wearing this, colleagues, a lover and a lady on the bus, all in 1 day. A true winner. I love it.

This fragrance punches way above it’s weight! The packaging and bottle is inline with the price, cheap and unassuming, but a few squirts of this juice and be prepared to be complimented all day and night! After an hour it does remind me of Ted Lapidus but there is a fruitiness that comes through. Projection and longevity is amazing. You’re getting amazing bang for your buck. Buy it with confidence it won’t disappoint.

Like yowza man! What is this frag? I know it is a bit sweet, but it gives off that grape soda vibe and lasts like on and on. The citrus is momentary at the start and then it settles down into a cloud of sweet soda.
Projection is great for the first three to four hours and longevity is upto 12 hours!
But this is a fragrance which either goes to the lower end of the spectrum or the higher end for each different individual. Either loathe or like.
So who really cares if Bogart perfumes smell synthetic, its not that apparent
For me, i can draw parallels to the legendary Joop homme…
    thumbs up!

    Smells good! Wanginya enak
    Cheap, murah, nice!
    Longevity : 6 hour
Sillage : heavy at 1 hour then skin scent
    Projection : 1.5 hour max
Ada harga ada rupa ya guys 🙂
Conclusion just ok, price shows what really are.

I am sure that I will get some hate from people for this review… But, I find similarities between this and Dior Homme Parfum. This one is a bit fruiter with that grape smell, but to me, they share a resemblance to one another.

Well priced nice piece of work. Quite different even though it should be very popular at this price. Worth the money. Not the beast that everyone will have you believe though. Budget on 8 good hours then it’s over

The unashamed, over achiever of the Silver Scent line is Silver Scent Intense with it’s youthful, playful bubblegum/Grape Soda theme but with a balancing woodiness that wafts in and out keeping things in the
    adult realms.
Loud, attractive, long lasting – Intense is Ideal for clubbing and nights on the town. The ladies in my life immediately swooned over this when I wore it for the first time and I have come to love it too.
With Intense being so much better than it’s forebear (the regular Silver Scent) I don’t see a need to have that one separately.

  13. :

Amouage, Haa, what a joke! Silver Scent Intense is from another planet. The longevity of this cheap, beautiful, monster is mind numbing, it literally will not quit on fabric.

  14. :

Anyone find a similarity between silver scent intense and amouage reflection man?
It is a good scent for its price. Do not overspray you may offend people around you.

Straight up grape Bubblicious…AND LOVING IT!!
Reminds me when there was only 3 flavor of that gum: original, grape and orange. And the grape was always my total favorite.
For the price, the projection and longevity is amazing.

    First Impressions :
Opened my bottle of SSI today just for kicks. I was waiting for a huge waft of grape bubble gum. Instead I got the fragrance from Gilette Shaving Cream. It reminds me of Al Haramain L’ Aventure as well. Same vain IMO.
A crisp clean dressed up mall scent, redundant but has mass appeal.
Good for day but not a serious evening scent in my case. Not dark enough.
    Very safe for office wear.

A hidden gem! I have a 2017 bottle, and all i can say is beastmode! lady killer! 2 sprays last all day and 2days on my shirt. great clubbing scent. you can use this casually also. 10/10

i have 2017 batch. it is very strong and grabs at my nose and throat ( 1 spray). it smells exactly the same as Fleur du Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier. i do not get fruityness. just the exact same as fleur de male start to finish. very flowery sharp and i think woman can pull this one off( 2017 batch) . i do not like it. my fleur de male is still half full for many years aswell. stopped using it too

A beast that can kill the wearer before killing people around. Don’t spray to much & too close to the atomizer. It will give u dizziness & headache. Smell like high concentrated grape soda. Dry down will have a musky sweet scent. Not bad but beware. A real love and hate scent. That was why I only like it to stay neutral.

The real deal of the Silver Scent line!I feel it has a complete fragrance, more than the original, because it has a much more prominent woody note that balances better the sweet fruity soul of this scent. It lasts great and you will be noticed for sure!Take a bottle of it and enjoy your life!

  22. :

Am I crazy or does this have a slight resemblance to JPG Popeye Eau Fraiche?
Either way this is a very grape-candy, complex and rich sort of smell. I think it’s very easy to like this one because it’s very smooth and well executed even if you’re someone not into this particular style of fragrance.
I can absolutely recommend this one even as a blind buy, especially at the price they sell for. Just remember that it’s a very playful scent and while you would be able to pull it off almost anywhere, there certainly are better options for more professional settings.
That being said, it all depends on the circumstances and I can definitely see this being a very safe and “crowd pleasing” frag.

Humphrey Bogart used this Bogart fragrance in Casablanca. Ingrid Bergman cried a lot because she would never smell again Bogart’s Bogart fragrance if she wouldn’t stay with Bogart.
As time went by, I learned to envy Bogart’s Bogart fragrance… but not any longer because I bought 2 x 100ml flasks of Bogart’s Silver Scent Intense.
Fantastic Fragrance!!!! I know now why Ingrid Bergman wept so much.

This fragrance makes you wonder why people underrate some designers, or even some EDTs and EDPs. Everybody knows Cool Water from Davidoff, but just a few people know other fantastic Davidoff products like Zino Davidoff and Silver Shadow.
Not a lot of people know Jacques Bogart or his perfumes. Well, if it is your case you don’t know what you are missing.
Now about Silver Scent Intense witch is my preferred Bogart’s fragrance.
It’s very manly, a bit gourmand, somewhat spicy, woody and a lot Oriental.
It opens kind of fresh and clean with some sweetness. By the notes we know we are getting African orange flower, Italian lemon and bitter orange. I did not notice a clear separation between the top and the heart notes. I have been bombarded with some flower (mostly lavender) and spice notes without loosing that tiny sensation of freshness with some new green notes in between with the initial notes.
The scent now is really strong and lovable. Enjooooy it. It is ment for you.
The bottom notes make themselves available without asking any permission. The global scent becomes even more intensive and you notice the oriental ambiance projected by this fragrance. Sweet powerful oud, tonka and fougère notes become dominant but blended with the previous notes. You can experience the harmony of the global scent evolution.
The fragrance becomes really powerful and it does project immensely; you became aware of the sillage effects around you (my dog does not stay in the same room with me). After a couple of hours it still shows the same strength. You became convinced that it is going to last forever. It draws a lot of attention and certainly a lot of compliments specially by oriental frag lovers.
I sprayed my forearms (2 sprays each) by midday. 12 hours later I still had an appreciable sillage around me and I should say quite intense still. 36 hours went by and I still can smell the sweet oud and tonka at skin level; In between I slept for 8 hours and took a shower.
Don’t use it in hot weather. All other situations are allowed. You may either love this fragrance or hate it due to its strength.
Very good to read a book by the fireplace on a winter night? – YES, you may enjoy it alone.
Very good for any kind of date? – NO. It will be ok for some dates if you apply it 4 hours before meeting your darling. And if your date cares only about fresh citrusy scents just dump your date and stick with the fragrance.
Very good for the office? – YES if you have a private space.
Is it good for open air activities? – YEEES
Will you receive a lot of compliments? – YES
Very good for clubbing? – YES but apply it a couple of hours before going to the club.
Everyone else will be wearing it? – NO. I dare you to find someone else using this frag in your club.
My rates for Silver Scent Intense:
Scent: 9.0 (I really love this frag, but still does not make my top 5 although it is in my top 10)
    Longevity: 10.0 (It’s a beast)
    Sillage: 9.5 (It’s a beast)
Uniqueness: 8.5 (You may have similar experiences with a douzain of niche very expensive fragrances, OUDs in particular)
Wearability: 7.5 (avoid hot weather; marvelous in air conditioned)
Versatility: 7,5 (choose oriental scent lovers to date or to party with; Exclude all the Aqua di Gio fanatics)
    Quality: 9.0
Price: 10.0 (20 Euros for my 100 ml bottle)
    Overall rating: 8,88/10.0

Its bubblegum for men that i actually really love smelling.
Which is strange for me because I can’t stand 1million, le male or dunhill.
I think 1 spray is enough, this will no doubt last and last and leave a scent trail.
This is not as sweet as the original and i prefer it.
I have a girl friend that actually wears the original silver scent and I think women can pull it off but this one is a little more masculine.
Overall its woody, fresh a touch menthol smelling and quite sweet.

This is very, very similar to the original. The oud is barely noticeable. I prefer it to the original SS. Intense smells a little bit more mature.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

This is a loud scent at first, but that’s because it’s made to last, if cry babies hate the initial smell then they can go play with their aqua di gio’s. The dry down lasts forever, and that’s a great thing if that’s what you’re looking for, for your day. If you don’t feel like smelling this all day or don’t want a long lasting scent then don’t use this. If you do, then great.. After 4 hours, this really shines and the dry down is beautiful. 1 spray is good.. 2 spays on extra cold days. Don’t go over 2 spays. Do not go over 2 sprays.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

I suggest 2 sprays to the back of the neck and keep it away from your neck and I also avoid under the ears.. It’s that strong, 4 hours in, you don’t want to be smelling yourself. Keep it on the back of your neck and you’ll be fine. 2 sprays.. never go over 2 sprays. It’s actually pretty decent in cold mornings or cold nights when it’s dropping below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If you do wear this during a hot season, i’d recommend you block the spray with a piece of paper as you apply to only acheive a half spray to yourself, it might be ok as a summer scent at a half spray, but that’s just too much effort, go for something fresher that needs 4-6 sprays in the summer.

I smelled the old formulation today and man this is HEAVYYYY… Very very heavy and loud floral scent… It start with floral jasmine plus wood but mixed in a very weird way. and the dry down is Rose, rosemerry and citrus…. When i tested it and come out of the shop my friend asked me why am i wearing a female fragrance. Its because it is very floral cologne… Its a winter wear fragrance and not be worn in summer daytime at all….
Silage and longevity is very heavy and long lasting.

A truly superb fragrance, I agree with a comment below that this is a masterpiece.
You see I get the notes of lavender, grape, orange and sweet lemon at first smell, but then there is this sensational zing of freshness as a second wave that I have not experienced from any other fragrance. Another Bogart gem.

Wow; this frag is beautifully loud, atomic and long-lasting. One spray and the room becomes Chaos incarnate. I smell it 24 hrs later on my skin. Unbelievable!
–To wear this is to be a very arrogant, bossy, dominant man; passionate heart-breaker making no apologies.
–When I first sprayed it, it took me by surprise because I felt “outmatched” on the first spritz. OMG! The best way to describe it like an alter ego that is unruly, unamused but unabashed of flower petals. Not everybody can handle this juice. The fragrance is inappropriately good with a character. It goes “BEAST MODE” on the first spray and you must take control of this wild animal (do not go over 2 sprays). Otherwise, if you decide to wear it, you better have an alter ego to match; people will be able to tell that this frag is NOT made for you.
–If you are of the a baby or a Mama’s boy, you should not apply this frag because it is for a man with serious CALVES and ACHILLES tendons to match; too Powerful and I LOVE it!

This is something beyond love for me and I can’t get all negative comments,it smells strong, warm, sweet, pleasent and I love my man to smell like this
I actually don’t like the first version and I believe that one was sharp, too much fruity(in a syntethic way) and stronger, but intense version is all about a warm, cozy tonka dominated scent that wrapes you with comfort and also has great longevity and sillage too,I can’t detect much oud, most dominant notes are tonka, orange flower, lavender, citruses and a hint of fruits and woody notes
Just use it during cold seasons and only two sprays is enough
Good for men who prefer sweet and strong fragrances

this and the original SS are identical but the main key difference is that this one is the matured version of the Silver Scent while the original SS is a wild flamboyant punchy younger reckless version.
personally I like this one more.

For some strange reason this reminds me of Halloween Man a lot, it could work as a good alternative to Halloween Man when trying to achieve an aura similar to One Million but without going that exact route.

I had a bottle of this some 3 years ago. I found it quite strong and synthetic thats why I gave up on using it and gave it to my younger brother, who surprisingly liked it very much. Today I got my hands on a scent called “Landi” from the house of Reykjavik Distillery. As I sprayed it on my hand, I started associating it with something I used to have back in the days and YES it smelled like Silver Scent Intense, at least in the beginning even though Landi in my opinion is a bit more wearable and less strong (it has good projection). I think Landi is a much better alternative for this one but Idk why I cannot find it on Fragrantica 🙁

But a house that fits the parameters so anxious for everybody who loves perfume and somehow maintains a collection, the parameters “B.B.B. quality “(good, nice and cheap). Jacques Bogart does not lack in their creations, never! All that this House gets build or 8 is or is 80, and who does not like to have a bomb in the middle of your collection ?! We need them, I speak for myself, I consider myself one Sheik closet! A super bright spot of the house is the large amount of Linalool, coveted substance by the perfume industry and acts as an excellent fixative for fragrances used in their bottled works, yes, because almost all Jacques Bogart perfumes fix supernaturally and design neighborhoods , cities, states and countries are no doubt, never seen anything like this or similar’re crazy ?! Silver Scent Intense has the claws of his predecessor baladeiro Silver Scent, only much better, because of the presence of some notes that much more interesting to have left him to his rising, and face it open and citrus-green with medium bitter and rustic touches in large doses that dominate the whole atmosphere at the first spray; absurdly blatant and its output identical to the Silver Scent. In the notes to mean it gains momentum and becomes eastern mega with many spices and branches and branches of rosemary, which is legal at this stage is the appearance of a very macho Lavender as those present in the Perfumes “old school,” is to go back in time and remember an illustrious era of perfumery, good times. Then, finally, it becomes intense as suggested by its name because of the Oud note in its most concentrated form, associated with Vetiver, the dry woods and a lot of Tonka giving a resinous extreme sweet fragrance, making it the more androgen possible imaginable. By cost less than $ 100 Money, there are few playing confetti and / or admire the spectacle of their existence, as well as the state. Who in fact is called fond of perfumes, is not related to labels, bottles or houses, but the essence and subjectivity that a fragrance through its representations can cause when in contact with skin. I have said.
Word of the day: confrontation… (day 28)

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Before reviewing silver scent I’d like you to confront yourself as to why you wear a fragrance? Do you want to smell nice, tell people that you are wearing something just for the sake of having a smell? Or are you looking for art and sophisticated appeal?
If you just want to smell of a fragrance( read: trash) this is for you. So Vulgar so synthetic you’d be better off smelling of your own body odor , god knows maybe at least your own sweat has pheromones.
This is for the loud man with no manners that enters a room without knocking first.
I’m probably going to get alot of dislikes for this review, but the truth sometimes hurts ( and silver scent hurts even worse)

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I found this one from the “Fragrances with Lex” YouTube channel. Wonderful cheapie, very unique. With this one I get delicious synthetic grape that isn’t too sweet, and a strangely pleasant synthetic oud, almost animalic body odor smell in the background (but in a good way if that makes sense). This fragrance performs like a beast, making it strong enough to wear in cold weather but fresh enough to pull off in the heat. Very versatile scent, can wear it except maybe in a formal setting. I can see a few people being turned off by the synthetic nature of the fragrance, but I love it.
Performance: 9/10. Monster projection ad longevity. Will last you most of the day.
Scent: 8.5/10. Very unique grape/oud/woods scent that grows on you the more you wear it. Versatile and good for all seasons.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

At first I didn’t like it cuz it was really strong and I got headache of it. Now I can tolerate it better and during colder days/nights 1-2 sprays of this plus 3-4 sprays of a vanilla-based scent (24 Gold or Raghba) over it makes a wonderful combination. I can really feel the dark smell of oud in this scent despite its price. Sometimes I have paid much more for an oud-based scent that does not have as much oud as this one in it. Do not blind buy this one, I would say!!

It smells like the original silver scent, but watered down. This is a very weak version. Not worth a dollar. I cannot recomend. Read my review for the original. It is thousand times better.

One spray and you say to yourself: “What a delicious perfume a dark fruity neroli why I dont wear this more often?”… After one hour of this linear super strong fragrance the answer come from your stomach, nose, head, chest:
    Sense of vomit, headache, asthma.
As Bogart will create a soft cologne of this: give me a shout.
In fact that is very nice on your skin if you wear it before a shower.
If you think to wear it like this, pure: uses The Force Luke !
P.S.: You should burn your wardrobe to remove it from clothes.

I like it;but let´s be honest, it doesn´t have any oud in it; i can sense some wood, lavander, oak moss and some sweet notes but that´s it, not big complexity, nice(not BIG)lasting power and sillage,is quite close to Le Male but a tad synthetic. If you are on a budget is a great option.
    80/100

This is a beast of a frag, but it took me a little while to appreciate the smell and strength of this wonderful juice.
If I had to make a comparison, I would say that it smells like A+F fierce or Mont bland legend, with that dirty orange smell with vanilla, except this has lots of oud.
If anybody is on a fragrance journey, and would like to really get their nose on some oud, then this is your guy.
You won’t have any problems with longevity or sillage either, this stuff just goes on forever.
I also really like the bottle and sprayer,,it’s very classy, sort of an art deco look.
Overall I would score this an 9 out of 10,,the more you wear it, the more you’ll grow to love it..

After the huge success of the original version (released in 2006), the brand introduces the “grown up” version of the Silver Scent line, now with the surname Intense. It seems that it was all very fast, but it wasn’t. In fact, the original version took too many time to be known around here (Brazil), when the stores began to receive requests for its availability.
With the same notes of frozen lemon and orange blossom, besides the insertion of the bitter orange, the fragrance also has the same composition in its body, combining lavender, geranium, cardamom, Rosemary and coriander. The greatest change was in the base, which kept the vetiver, Teak wood and tonka bean, but included notes of Lichen (fungal MOSS) and oud (agarwood).
Basically, it consists of the same DNA, just more balanced or less “vibrant”. The bittersweet aspect is now more restrained, giving way to the Fruity-fougère, with a touch of oud.
The projection and the lasting match with its predecessor (losing a little bit in projection).
It is like if the original version was a hyperactive child and this Intense version is the same person, now more behaved. Silver Scent has grown and became a teenager, situated between two worlds: the childhood and adulthood.

Smells just like Silver Scent. Wasn’t sure I needed two bottles of the same juice. Luckily I like this smell since I have a lifetime supply now 🙂

Wow what an amazing fragrance! I fell inlove with this immediately and just had to buy a bottle. Beautiful winter scent which costs about half the price of what other big name fragrances cost. This is a winter winner for sure! Buy it!

Just goes to show that perfume preferences are completely subjective. This has a predominantly positive rating here in Fragrantica, but to me it smells like cheap cologne and gives me the impression of a smell a prostitute would wear.
I’m surprised some people find it so good.

I liked Bogart Pour homme and bogart and hence this was something of a blind buy and I have to say it’s not for me. I can see why it appeals to people as SS Intense is a sweet fruity Oud frag but the whole thing is very synthetic smelling for me and way too heavy. Longevity and projection are truly monstrous, spraying more than 2 sprays of this probably qualifies as a violation of other people’s human rights!! LOL If you like the smell, it’s fantastic value for money as a little truly goes a long way here. I dont hate this, what it does, it does very well. Just not for me.

For me Silver scent intense is just like the silver scent :
Actually Silver Scent Jacques Bogart is Good frag 4 it’s value , it smells good & project good as well & longevity is good, the only side down 4 me is the bottle design it looks unattractive & cheap !
    Projection / Silage 2 – 3 hours.
    Longevity 5 hours
    Scent 5/10
    Bottle design 2/10
    Value 4 Money 8/10
P.S. funny thing is my MOM hates it & my WIFE likes it HA HA HA !
    Thumps Up !
I just can’t find the intense factor , may be it’s my skin !!!!!

Silver Scent and Silver Scent Intense are made with the same material, where S.S. is a cube S.S.I. is a sphere.
