Description

Armani Si was launched in 2013 as a sweet scent of cassis, rose and vanilla. In 2014, Armani introduces its enhanced version Armani Si Eau de Parfum Intense. The new version is designed for a strong and passionate woman who is brave and not afraid to take risks. Such woman is conceived as very charismatic, confident, independent and sophisticated.

“Denser” and richer than the original, Si Intense is described as a modern chypre fragrance. It opens with accords of cassis and black currant heart extract. There are also fresh notes of mandarin and bergamot with a silky touch of freesia. The heart develops with essence of May rose and neroli absolute, with additional accords of davana and osmanthus. The base features patchouli, vanilla, ambroxan and woody notes.

The face of the perfume is actress Cate Blanchett. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The best perfume I ever had. Regretting for not buying again. It lasts super long. Even a day after you can smell it on your skin. The best ever ! 10/10

I generally love Armani but I hate this fragrance. This was the first fragrance I have tried that so prominently displayed black currant. I guess I have discovered I don’t like black currant very much.
I ended up scrubbing the scent off the back of my hand and after a thorough scrubbing I could still smell some of the fragrance. Ironically, I didn’t mind it as much once it was very faint.
My boyfriend absolutely loved it. Despite his love of the scent, I will not be purchasing a FB.

A balanced and grown up fruity floral…
I like this one a lot more compared to the original. I have tried the original and while I think that was a great choice for younger women and teens, I think this is definitely for the 25 and up group. It has everything the original had but smoother, darker and more mature. I get the berries and spices and a very smooth, almost leather/suede vibe. There are still the honeyed florals (the osmanthus, neroli and maybe even a hint of jasmine) all complimented by a smooth and sensuous vanillic musky base. I like this one very much and it’s even unisex for a daring man. I do enjoy it and would 100% recommend it in the designer realm of perfumes. Very good for formal, evening and cooler weather as well. I find this strangely more versatile than the original, and able to attract a broader audience. It’s a good one in that genre.

From my hetero(ish) male perspective, there isn’t a single woman I can imagine whose sexiness would not be enhanced by this fragrance. Love it.

While I absolutely love this scent, it really doesn’t project or last well on me at all. I don’t mind this so much if it’s a cheap and cheerful fragrance, but when it costs as much as this does it’s a no from me! Thankfully Elizabeth Arden’s Always Red and Always Red Femme smell similar enough to this to satisfy my need for this type of scent in my collection. Bizarrely, both of them also project far better on me than this one.
Lovely perfume, just not worth it for me. For most of the reviewers below it seems to not be the case for them, which does make me a bit jealous 🙂

    More dark…I like it!!
Not a huge difference from the Si EDP.

It’s better than Si EDP for me. more intense..
I’m in love with fragrance!! This smell has affected me very much.
I’ll definitely buy it for next winter.
    Sillage and longevity: very good
    Bottle= 8 /10
    scent=8.5 /10
    Longevity= 8/10

It smells like warm winter berries basically. I may buy it one day.

this is nice but too similar to original. a bit darker but not very much. i just wish i could wear rose, as so many others, but – no, it makes no sense to me to wear a rose scent. it is as lovely as original, but only for those who likes roses in their perfume. sillage is too strong for my liking as well. i love my perfumes more subtle.

Only the bottle it’s black or the perfume, the liquid too?

When i have the intense version, i left the original si for spring and summer. Go and get it immediately if you love sweet, dark syrupy sexy perfumes. Less florals and more berries. In a style and more qualified type of angel si, Not cute like the orignal, a demonic possession of it, but reveals after 3 a.m.(on drydown)

totally unique sweet fruity fragrance that is not like but in the same vein as Blyss and La Petite Robe Noire; in the top it is all about the currant then you get a whiff of osmanthus and neroli, very light supporting flowers; in the base, the fruit still is there but the patchouli with some woods and dry vanilla mingle to make this more than about fruit

I tested this one yesterday and it smells just like wine and flowers (not simple, common flower smell). I asked my husband to smell it and he immediately said “humm, smells like wine”, which is the same impression I had. I like it, I don’t think it is a spectacular perfume, but it is a very nice scent, for sure, kinda different. Also, I don’t think it smells like Paco Rabanne olympea intense, not at all. If you have Olympea intense you can absolutely have this one too, they are not similar to the point where you don’t need to have both.

This fragrance has more depth than the original,& a far less sweet as well!
The dry down is really nice and beautiful, nothing sexy or naughty, but smooth, modest elegant & romantic!
To me the prominent note I get here’s the black current mixed with vanilla.
    Sillage and longevity: good.
    Edit 26/3/2018:
The more I use it the more I can smell grapes!! Now I consider it a grape fruity sweet perfume!

  15. :

    A chypre this is not.
I’m not saying this is a bad perfume, just stunningly badly positioned by Armani. The cassis top notes come across strongly at first spritz and over time the woody notes come through. What doesn’t come through ever at any point in the dry down is any resemblance to Givenchy III, Bandit, Mitsouko or any other chypre I’ve ever tried.

  16. :

I found Si intense to be an elegant, rich amber and pear scent on me.
Si intense opens a bit sharply. I found the dry down to have great lasting power. 6 hours after I sprayed Si on me, I could smell it wafting around my wrists and forearm.
I find the character and taste of Si to be similar to Diamonds by Armani. I wouldn’t say that they’re replicas. They are certainly different scents, just a bit too similar in some respects for me. I already own Diamonds, but if I didn’t own Diamonds, it would make Si intense a more tempting purchase.

  17. :

More sensuous aroma than the original Sì. Here we have depth, elegance, not just flirtation. For me, this is the better choice. A beautiful brunette, a woman who knows what she wants, a seducer – so she smells, it’s the perfume.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

This is definitely more mature and formal than the original Si. It’s smells like Si’s chic sophisticated Mom. Best for the night and in the colder weather, for <30’s, and to me it could be pass as an unisex. Deeper
    More long lasting than Si

  19. :

    4 out of 5

This is definitely not the same as the original. It has a deeper and more alluring scent. Sweeter, and sometimes I get grapevines in the mix. It’s as safe to wear as Si. Mass market appealing, but I don’t see or smell it everywhere. It’s not as long lasting as I’d like. I admit that Cate Blanchett influenced me to buy it, and many celebs cannot do the same. She said in a recent article that she wears this and the rose version. Whether or not that’s true– it’s still good advertising for Armani.

  20. :

Too many similar versions of Sì (I guess just like many “big name” perfume houses out there, with many versions of THE SAME products => marketing/commercial purpose of the industry!?).
I like Sì…But if I have to put its versions by the order of “favorite” – “love” – “like”…, I would pick Sì Rose Signature II, Sì Intense, original Sì and then Sì Rose Signature.

The perfect scent of the confident and feminine woman. I love this one so much specially during the colder months. It is like a classic little black dress with a little twist for me. I did not hate the original edp version but I did not find it special at all, luckily the edginess I missed in the original I could detect in this Intense version.

Well I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this bit I think it smells exactly like the original

Pure gorgeousness..❤️ Puzzled by those who say it’s not long lasting?

  24. :

I like this mostly. I have a preference for currant and berry notes. This isn’t all currant and berry by any means but there’s enough in here to make me like this, especially as a cooler weather fragrance. The problem I’m having with this is the dry down. After about 4 hours I get this funk that just smells dirty. And I’m not dirty so it’s definitely some note in this drag. It’s like a smell of sweaty feet – maybe that’s how I would describe it I’d love it if someone could make a guess as to what note it is because I really want to avoid it in the future. I know it will be tempting to tease me and say oh – it probably is YOUR stinky feet, but I swear, it’s not, and it really bums me out because otherwise I’d really love this fragrance.

Si Intense is what I was hoping Midnight Poison by Dior would smell like: dark, delicious, and slightly gothic. I like to wear this at night, and the original Si during the day.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

Si Intense smells divine – for all of 5 minutes, then nothing, zip, zilch, gone. No one else can smell it on me either. It just completely disappears. Returned it.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

The cassis and black currant notes are quite obvious. The mandarin note is strong too if you ask my nose. It’s a warm, sweet mandarin since the vanilla note warms it up. The balance is beautiful. There’s a woody, slightly creamy undertone which combines very feminine with a hint of patchouli. It’s very well composed!

  28. :

    4 out of 5

This is not intense at all on me sadly 🙁 I like the perfume a lot but I don’t get any sillage and I don’t get much longevity out of it. I love the notes in it; the patchouli is subtle for me. Vanilla is not overpowering. A bit of neroli and a hint of freesia with slight woodiness. Not sure about any other notes but these combine very nicely together. I just wish it would last longer and project more on me. I find it very difficult to smell too – I have to really put a lot on – my skin just seems to devour this and that is disappointing as I love this perfume on others. For me, it is a reminder of Maroussia, Youth Dew and Opium; sort of smells similar and would probably layer well with these.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

Very similar to the original EDP but with some more woody notes and a musky scent. It’s an improved version of the EDP. Still has that wine scent going on, but it’s toned down. Seems to be less floral than the EDP. Again, inoffensive. Something you could wear anywhere. 5.5/10 for me

It’s my second review for armani si intense
I didn’t really like it and I decided to sell or swap it but something happened.a relative who was guest in our house asked my permission to test some of my perfumes.she sprayed si intense on her wrist and asked her husband’s opinion. He said it smells like cherry juice mixed with grape juice and smells erotic and elegant at the same time.I couldn’t hear rest of their convention as I was in another world.in the colorful and magical world that only perfumes can take us.how could I dislike such a charming scent?it’s a perfume with a memorable personality, perfume for a modern femme fetal!this is the scent trailing behind a successful well-educated businesses woman who is also very charming.it’s the same scent one can smell on her when she goes night out with her man,not a business lady anymore, now she’s a lover,a seductress, a sweetheart
Armani si intense is a combination of boozy black current blended with dark, rich woods and there’s rose and other florals mingling with this boozy fruity woody scent(I can also pick up slightest hint of saffron but less than original so)
I’m usually heavy handed in spraying but my lesson about si intense is learnt.overspraying ruins it so much that makes me hate it but apply it in light doses and there would be this hypnotic, sweet but dark and adult,a tad masculine but super seductive sultry scent wafting around you.I just like what I smell on skin but I love, love,LOVE,it’s scented cloud and trail.it’s more gourgeous and less heavy not much close to skin and that’s what people smell on you and it’s also what you smell if you don’t glue your nose to your skin
My relative told me:are you listening to me?I asked is it the perfume you wanted to sell or swap?
I looked at it’s luxurious black bottle and said:oh no,I love this one!I need it in my collection and I may even buy all it’s sisters

I really love it. Can’t say it’s too sweet, for me it smells like a well-balanced fruity mix with something mesmerizing in the base (I’m not good at picking out particular notes). But the whole composition opens up really well on my skin. I feel sorry for abandoning all my other bottles that are patiently waiting for my attention, but this scent is worth it.

  32. :

Wow, this is so astonishling lovely. When I smell this it’s like a romantic love story, with so much heart and depth, it grasp you deep inside your soul to release all emotions possible. It’s esquiste composition is mezmoring. It’s suduction , and decidance leaves you speechless from opening all the way to the drydown. The quality is beyond expected. It’s exotic, has richness, warmth, sweetness, and the rose is amazing. It’s so well blended. The projection, longevity, sillage and etc are all above standard. When I wear this, it’s a warm mystical cloud of heaven. Xo

  33. :

    3 out of 5

If you enjoy sweet fragrances, you can disregard my review.
I share the same sentiments as Tussa, I barely make it through the first hour after spraying. Mostly because it is very sweet, almost sickly sweet. It’s got some good structure in it like the patchouli, especially in the drydown. Honestly the drydown is good and I can see why people enjoy it. But I struggle to take it seriously. This is like a little girl playing grown up clunking around in her moms heels and smearing red lipstick on her lips. Try’s to be mature but ends up being a sugary, overbearing mess.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Si is a beautifully constructed fragrance. At first, I wasn’t sure what to think of this perfume. The strongest notes in the opening to me are wood, Cassis, and, despite not being in the ingredients, a slight Eucalyptus note. As it wears down, it starts getting sweeter. The middle notes remind me of wine–A very sweet, unique wine. It’s definitely a unique scent. To me it is’t as fruity as the description suggests. It’s a nice, unique smell. I find it rather sophisticated, but it does require confidence to wear it. The more I wore this perfume, the more I liked it. I consider it a very sexy and mature smell. I love it.
Sillage: Soft to moderate. In my case it doesn’t really leave a trail behind and people won’t smell my perfume unless they actually lean in very close to my skin.
Longevity: Moderate. My skin seems to suck up this scent like it was food. In me, it barely lasts more than three hours.

Just ordered huge tester bottle from Notino. I smelled it on a magazine strip and I had to have it! Soon my pretty..soon!
Finally have this beauty! <3. I like the regular Si,,,this one is a love. Very deep and rich like others have described. Almost a boozy quality….ahhhhh!!!Yes!

Hi from Deco Dawn. Giorgio Armani Si Intense is a rich sophisticated ‘chypre’ version of the original.Quality ingredients fruity with a sensual dry down and the packaging is excellent a lot of effort has gone onto the marketing for this product. Cate Blanchett is the perfect ‘muse’ so beautiful and sophisticated but fun and sensual and alluring. The dark heavy glass square flacon bottle with Black flame lid is very contemporary in design. Expensive at £106 for 100ml bottle but so worth it. I love this fragrance I previously owned two bottles of the Original Si, but always wished it was stronger and lasted longer. My wish was granted. Si to love. Si is perfect. Try it you will love it.

I love it much better than Si. It’s so rich and potent, and smells like a beautiful fruity rose wine!!! It also has a gorgeous earthiness, the patchouli is beautiful!!! It’s totally gorgeous!!! And I get compliments, from men especially, but lots of women too, all saying how intoxicating I smell!! It lasts for 16 hours or so, and is simply superb!!!!

  38. :

    5 out of 5

Over powering strong, dark, headache inducing syrupy red rose. Heavy on the rose! This is for an older mature confident woman. I don’t picture this for a young girl. The original Si smells better ! This flanker smells nothing like it , they should have just given it a different name.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

I love this. It smells like a deep rich succulent potent sweet sweet dark red velvety rose to me!!! It’s divine!!! It is so gorgeous. It lasts and lasts, and I get compliments from everyone!!! My husband also loves it on me. It’s perfect!!!

  40. :

    5 out of 5

I love how this smells, but my skin just eats it. After a few minutes I can barely smell it and my husband can’t either. I don’t want to get rid of my bottle because I like it too much, but its large and unwieldy, and if I want to enjoy this at all I have to respray it every half an hour. This isn’t my first experience like this with a scent most other people say is a sillage bomb but boy is it disappointing. Won’t repurchase, whenever (if I ever) finish this one.

Ottimo prodotto comunque.

I don’t normally go for sweet gourmand scents, but this one is an exception. Richer and darker than the original one, it has some lovely woody notes that give it extra depth. I frequently wear it for daytime and get a lot of compliments whenever I do.

I own the original Sí and know it well I have been sampling Sí Intense every time I’m in Macy’s and I love it the initial spray I get a sparkling boozy waft of a chilled Corona tickles my nostrils for about 2-5mins and starts to warm up and develops into my loved Sí. I thought I was crazy so I decided to be bold and I asked 3 sales ladies and 2 gentlemen and all 5 agreed! Hallelujah I’m not crazy! I find it lovely but honestly I don’t know if that’s something I need. I will be sticking to the original for now! Still a lovely choice if your chemistry works with it!

  44. :

I didn’t know to choose original si or this one, since it was a blindbuy and I ordered this one just because of the word intense,I started to read reviews afterward and got nervous, lots of reviews said that it’s the more blackcurrent, cassis dominant one.I’m not a fan of these notes, they usually grow sourish on me in sweet perfumes
Finally I received my Armani intense and didn’t like it.I love sweet and heavy perfumes but this one was very syrupy,it was like a plum, blackcurrent jam..a very sticky fruitchouli which it’s sweetness is hidden beneath tones of dark bitterish woods.it reminded me Lancome tresor midnight rose,Ofcourse they don’t smell similar,in lancome, blackcurrent is replaced by raspberry but it has this syrupy dark fruity feeling too
After couple of wearings now I feel that I like it,still not a favorite of mine but I can feel a red wine like smell here that I like
I can only wear it when it’s really cold,it’s definitely a winter scent and a night scent IMO and one that shouldn’t be oversprayed.it’s not a daily perfume for me and I can only wear it in special occasions, party or formal meetings,I see it a mature one, dark, seductive, rich and classy
If you’re into heavy, warm and darkish perfumes with a syrupy grapey sweetness which is balanced by patchouli and woody notes give it a try.florals are very soft here and the only floral note that stands out is rose,a dark rose
Blackcurrent and cassis aren’t sharp or sour thanks to vanilla, however vanilla doesn’t stant out to my nose as dominant.it only rounds everything
Longevity is very good on me.sillage and projection is great.I’ve only received compliments from men
    ❤❤❤

Si Intense is for me, VERY beautiful. It’s one of my top favourites, and I adore it. It smells very much like rich rose, the deep dark red rose. I think it’s a perfectly divine smell, and I wear it a lot.
It lasts strongly all day, and has very nice sillage, so that anyone close to me can smell it, but it’s not overwhelming, and I often get asked what that beautiful smell is.
Body chemistry has so much to do with things, and I’m very happy Armani Si Intense works so well on me!
    It’s perfect!

This is the perfect perfume for me. I love the smell. It’s rich and potent, sweet, with an edge of bitterness, just perfect, and delicious. Very much rose – rich dark rose – and black currant/vanilla liqueur. And patchouli, and wood. And a lovely blend of the other flowers and citrus fruits, with the cassis bitterness. Fantastic concoction.
I love it completely. And I adore the bottle! It is such a beautiful piece of art; like a fabulous abstract sculpture of a man; a dark, mysterious stranger (THE man????), waiting, quietly, secretly, to take me away from all this! I adore him!!! He is so solid – wonderful to hold. So safe. So divinely gorgeous!
    My signature scent – forever!!!
    Si. Intensely Si.

After trying and loving Si EDP, I had really high expectations for Si Intense. It features more interesting notes and I thought it’s going to be more vivid. To my surprise the word “intense” didn’t bring a thing to the picture. I would even say – just the opposite! The scent was so gentle on my skin, almost invisible. I had to try really hard to pick up other notes than black currant and vanilla, which are there and are nice, but sit really close to the skin. Maybe there is something wrong with me, but this fragrance is just unnoticeable for my nose.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

This didn’t work for me. It’s surprising since the original Si edp is the complete opposite. When I first spray it it smells really woody and then I smell a slight vanilla. I smell no fruit and after the dry down it started smelling really weird I can’t figure it out but it’s not good. I had to return it sadly. I’ll stick with Armani si edp.

  52. :

Si Intense is just that! YES!!! It’s the most gorgeous perfume I’ve ever ever smelled. It’s beautiful. It’s divine. I love love love it! From beginning to end. So lovely, intense rose, patchouli, woods, vanilla, black currant, touches of freesia, bergamot…..
    Absolutely the best! Yes!!!!!

  53. :

The opening of this is absolutely horrid, the woody sweet smell matching that of a sweet chocolatey burnt porter that I once tried in a pub and hated. Wanted to wash it off my wrist at Sephora. Ignored it and went shoe shopping. An hour later it had dried down to something more acceptable, though still awful.
    “Si”? More like “no”.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

Hate the original Si. This however is a lovely fragrance deep strong and powerful. Not playful or girly, very womanly, smells of concentrated berries and cassis with hints of amber on a bed of vanilla and oud. It is very rich and thick smelling, I like it, it is best described as a sweet fruity woody fragrance very good for winter and the festive season. I would defintely wear this one in the colder months rather than summer and spring time. It has an authentic deep sweetness about it rather than a synthetic sweetness which I really appreciate about this fragrance. It is very well blended and just smells rich and luxurious. I don’t really have any criticisms of this fragrance, it isn’t the most unique but it is very good quality and lasting power and projection are above average so I cannot fault this fragrance. I will add it to my collection when I see it on sale. To me this is a Christmas and New Year fragrance. Deep, rich and luxurious and warm feeling is how I would describe this scent. It is also very unoffensive, I don’t see how anyone could not like this one. It is not offensive- it is all warmth and sweetness. This perfume also has a reserve about it, it has a sophisticated quiet reserved vibe to it. I like it. It has class.

    Lasting power-7/10

This is my very favourite perfume. I LOVE IT!!!
It is so comforting and full; so strong and long-lasting; so sweet but not tooo sweet, just a lovely rose sweetness; neither is it cloying. It is just completely beautiful…..

My new friend George at Nordstrom was awesome. He sampled Si Intense next to Tom Ford Plum Japanois (sp.) with me As both are insanely amazing, Tom is dry and Si is a bit juicy foody on me( my body smells like frosting everytime vanilla is in the composition) both have the dark woodsy mysteriousness and complexity I like, but dang, I need one dead in between these 2!!!!

A GORGEOUS PERFUME!! It’s fantastic. So strong! I only put two squirts on, and I have smelled it STRONGLY all day!! And my days are around 18 hours long! It’s the best perfume. Beautiful. I LOVE it to bits!!!
p.s. I fall more and more in love with Armani Si Intense every time I wear it. It is SUCH a beautiful deep red rose on me. It’s that most intense, velvety soft rich almost liqueurish rose smell, which sends me straight to heaven. And keeps me there!
    My PERFECT PERFUME!!

Maybe a tad woodier with more patchouli. It’s not quite as friendly as the original somehow. I actually think there’s less blackberry in it. It’s more serious and mature. This is modern mature sophisticated. Give it to your gran.

Fabulous!!! An absolute dream of a perfume. Almost the best perfume I’ve ever had!! Very very beautiful, and intensely rose and patchouli! Delicious aroma which stays all day, just as strong as at the beginning. Fantabulous!

I simply adore this perfume, but I do agree that it is not strong enough. I would like it to be stronger, and have stronger sillage and projection. I would like to feel that I’m immersed in a thick cloud of it, and I would like other people to be able to smell it in the room I’m in, instead of only when they come close to me. But it IS very very beautiful. It is so smooth, and gentle, and yet rich and (funny to say) intense, in a quiet way. I would like it to be a little louder! Oh well…… And I like it more than Si, and it’s a pity that Si is the stronger of the two!- the way I would like this to be. As I say; oh well! And for me the main overall smell is rose – lovely lovely rose. I can smell every note in it, more or less, at different times, and all day long it just smells heavenly!, but the whole combination, to me, makes me think of roses. Yum!
Edit: OMG! When I wore it for the second time, it seemed MUCH stronger!! I’m totally happy with the strength of it now! It fills the room, everyone can smell it, and they’re going ‘Mmmmm, what a beautiful smell!’ all the time! OH I LOVE IT!!! It’s by FAR my favourite perfume ever! Thank you, you wonderful Armani!! (it’s apparently his birthday today! Happy Birthday Giorgio!!) XXX!!!

I don’t know if I got a bad batch but for me this doesn’t have the sillage and longevity that the regular EDP does.
It doesn’t quite live up to the name “Intense” which is such a shame because I think this is an improved formula, less sweet & more earthy but lacks that scent cloud around you which I adore about Si, I wish I hadn’t splurged on this one.

if I could survive the first hour after applying, I could really like this one. But for me, too sweet, too vanilla and too patchouli at beginning that gives me a headache, and on me, I can not feel fruity notes. But dry down is really nice. The longevity and silage is above average, and I can really understand why so many people like it, just not for me

I got a very cute mini of this as a gift. I knew this was not gonna be my thing from the begining since I had already tried another Si (can’t remember which but I guess it was the original) and I did not like it because of it’s sweetness. But I had to try this one on anyways.
It opens intense and I could smell a black currant/patchouli/vanilla bomb. It is quite sweet but not as bad as I was expecting. It reminds me a lot to La Vie Est Belle, but a lot less sweet.
However I don’t see any real changes on this, just that it gets lets intense as time goes by. It gets maybe a bit woody after a few hours, but thats about it.
I get about 6-7 hours of this and then it becomes quite soft.
It is however a more wearable scent than La Vie for me since its not that sweet. I may enjoy it on cold weather but with summer here it’s just too much.
    Sillage is moderate.

just an update : Just recieved giorgio armani si intense yesterday, and tried it for the whole day. at first it was so strong, there is something about it that I really don’t like, it somehow gives me a headache, but then I waited for the dry down and man!! it is soooo good!!! it smells sophisticatedly sweet, not over powering, I live in a tropical country ,Philippines to be exact, and it is summer now here but it is still ok to wear this, it has a mild dry down that smells good in the heat. a very unique scent!!

I order this today because of too much watching in youtube about perfume and reading reviews. They said it is sweet and I like sweet, can’t wait for the purchase to hit home. Will update soon 🙂

Although we are getting closer to the warm season, I want this perfume so bad. I tested it again today and I totally agree with gillbert – this is elegance, sophistication and maturity in a bottle. There is an injection of black currant as well as an addition of citruses and flowers – the final result is that this is denser than Sì edp. It’s kinda ‘thick’ and intoxicating, but in a positive way. It’s a statement fragrance, therefore you have to be confident to wear it. At least a bit. Then the perfume will do the rest and give a further boost to your confidence making you feel like a queen.

Alright. I bought Si Intense mistakenly and still think I should have purchased Si EDT.
Nevertheless, Si Intense is a lovely, strong perfume.
Initially tested Si EDT at a department store, and absolutely fall in love with it. Especially, the lingering woody, vanilla scent just made me go crazy over this perfume.
Seeing Si Intense EDP, I thought, “what the heck… it’s only stronger, longer lasting, right?”
Sigh… how wrong I was about these two perfumes.
Si Intense has much sweeter, strong black current, grape/prune scent than Si EDT. So sweet in fact that it was nauseating. And, the sickeningly sweet scent lingered until the next day.
Once more, I was kicking at myself and brooding over yet another blind online purchase.
Just to see that I was not imagining the amazing scent of Si EDT, I went back to the department store to retest the perfumes, EDT as well as Si Intense.
Wow!!!! Si Intense was not sickeningly sweet?!? What?!? Did I purchase a knock off? I was frantic about comparing the bottle with online tips on knock off Si Intense. It appeared authentic enough though…
So, like Nuit de Tubereuse, my retrial of Si Intense was a week after receiving it.
Yes… it is still sweeter than EDT BUT became woodier, more aromatic than when I just received it. So I guess it just needed some time to cool down from being shaken up during the delivery.
On the second trial, it made me realized that the scent is very much like balsamic fir tree and fresh Christmas wreath! Sweet black current is still there, but refreshing woody c
