A well-balanced and unique arrangement of plum and rose with a nuance of vanilla, based on exclusive natural ingredients of SENSEI classic. The composition recalls the best quality plum dipped in chocolate and the rose petals in some sweet dessert. The opening of the fragrance is sweet and fresh with a hint of morning garden rose. Elegant, violet and full-flavoured plum is the main fragrance note. In the heart notes the myrrh, frankincense and labdanum give a classical but very interesting perfume accord. Whiskey, coffee and some spices give an impression of the best quality box of chocolates with alcohol when they are opened for the first time. The fragrance base changes slowly through the use of an oriental musk with ambrette and a small touch of vanilla.
She Shihan (She Sensei) was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Piotr Czarnecki.

I got a sample of this as a gift with my order of other samples. Before that, I didn’t know this fragrance existed, which is a shame, it’s so lovely!
It’s more feminine than I would have expected from the top voted notes.
She Shihan opens up with juicy plum, coffee, dark chocolate and a dash of whiskey.
Then it developes to a rose, vanilla and tobacco scent. The rose is the most dominant note on my skin. It’s rather clean, but the other notes keep it from becomming soapy and old-fashioned, especially the plum stays around to give the rose a juicy edge. The fragrances becomes warmer and more vanillic and balsamic over the time.
It’s a slightly sweet floriental scent with gourmand aspects and a balmy-creamy feel. Soft, but not weak at all, very feminine, but not girly. Complex due to the contrasting notes and the way it changes on my skin. Unique.
I like this a lot and I’m glad I got the chance to discover it!

Certainly embodying the sweetness and sheer power of the original, Piotr Czarnecki She Shihan (formerly Sensei) has many of the same characteristic gourmand notes–whiskey and coffee come to mind, in particular–but with a couple of key twists that do foster somewhat of a feminine-leaning variance from the original.
Violet, for me, is most prominent in She Shihan, and next after that is plum, and beyond that, it’s a melange of mostly sweet/gourmand notes but a couple others as well, including whiskey, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and incense.
It feels mostly like the original Shihan/Sensei EDP with a heavy addition of violet and light addition of plum, giving it a more feminine vibe overall but while remaining unisex enough that men will like it as well, especially men that both like violet and gourmands.
Like the original / men’s, She Shihan performs exceptionally as well both in terms of projection and longevity, so the $160 for 100ml EDP pricing is great if you like the scent.

Ooooo love this because of its weird smell! Before I read the info about the notes, I thought, that this is very intriguing…. And for sure it is! I love the smell and quirkiness but not sure if I would wear it myself.

This is now called She Shihan. Not sure why they changed the name but the fragrance stays about the same. First impression I get big whiskey and lovely fruit, plum. The plum is sweet and boozy with some watery rose in the background. When it dries down the vanilla becomes much more noticeable. The boozy aspect stays but calms a bit. I kind of wish that aspect stayed throughout, I am on a booze (smell not drink) kick right now. I find this very enjoyable throughout the whole wear, which is 7 or 8 hours on me.

oh man…this reminds me of something, and i can’t remember what it is!!!
it’s soft, fruity and boozy. quite sweet and floral too, at times, but mostly fruity. the plum is nice and central to the scent, as a whole, but i personally would have preferred it to be a little boozier, but that’s just me!

Even though the notes listed do not include chocolate, this fragrance definitely evokes a cocoa-type vibe. And it’s probably the most beautiful, soft cocoa scent I’ve ever experienced. Good sillage and strength.

I was happy to receive a decant from a beautiful perfume buddy, Erica.
My initial impression upon two sprays after an average burst of alcohol comes a wonderful blend of plum, violet and very soft chocolate that kept hanging on. I took a guess that this will easily gets close to skin.
Rose is one of my favorite note but I failed to detect it.
After a few minutes the chocolate, to my surprise, along with labdanum and whiskey are winning this stage. The plum and lavender sinks deeper to the unknown.
Coffee? I failed to detect it just like the rose at the start.
Although the top was captivating and the heart was so yummy, the fragrance indeed was weak yet clinging. I noticed the heart became a soft similar (top) to another Impressive niche frag: Lubin Idole
Now here’s the best surprise, the base is labdanum, ambrette, a touch of vanilla, soft not too sweet, milky chocolate (I love chocolate note especially dark cocoa) and whiskey vibe. Violet and plum, gone. Rose and coffee? None, not even vibe of them. This is definitely fall, rainfall and winter perfect. Cuddly and intimate encounter scent, formal and party scent, outdoor scent.. I believe this will be good with sweat when partying as well as windy outdoor. Versatile, creative, transforming but only an average projection. I still need to observe the longevity. Good unisex perfume.
Sensei is amazing but soft on me. For it’s heart, I am a fan of Lubin Idole’s top and heart, dislike it’s powdery dry down.
I am in love with one perfume I have that has somewhat similar (not copy) dry down vibe with this sensual Sensei. The differences, Sensei is close to skin, soft powder with yummy just right sweetness chocolate. It’s probably the blends of labdanum, spices, ambrette and vanilla. The perfume I love is stronger though and for sure, fans of this will like Sensei…

Some of my thoughts on She <3 Sensei : So how is She Sensei? When Mr Sensei is being incredibly classy and elegant gentleman connoisseur having his coffee,smoking his cigar in trendy Bebek coffee shop on Bosphorus shore overlooking the magical Istanbul at night, wearing black suit and Vacheron Constantin watch. He screams pure class! He is the Master ! She Sensei is his lady – chic, romantic and sophisticated . She is young but very mature for her age. She is wearing a red dress. She is his sweetness like the tasty turkish delight rosewater candy or delicious plum in chocolate. Irresistible. If you ever had those you would know but if not just imagine when the rose petals jam met plum butter on your lips, tongue stimulate and awake your senses. Feel the heavenly smell and the delicious taste of those. She is well balanced with a touch of vanilla. She is a coffee lover as well but not any kind of coffee. The dark roast, the chocolate vibe, the smooth velvety coffee with the hint of spices her beloved cardamom and cinnamon – like her man teach her she loves the best of the best. Coffee gives her power, makes her unique makes her sharp in her sweetness. She is never boring she loves to surprise… She is deep warm and mysterious. Sometimes when her man is having whiskey she would just steal a sip. It adds a pinch of devilish sexiness to the innocent sweetness of her. She Sensei is kind of luscious pleasure. Seducing.
