Such a beautiful smell, light and airy.

I got lilac and ‘purple’ flowers with greenery. A very light and pretty fragrance with minimal longevity.

I tried this because of the iris, which is one if my favourite notes. I really like the cool iris notes. But this comes on as a very cool, crisp floral (perhaps the hyacinth?) that I can really imagine enjoying on hot, warm days. It smells refined and subtle, and I imagine it would fade quite quickly and wouldn’t intrude. It’s not a blaring fragrance but a creeping, enveloping one. But it doesn’t really stand out as distinctive either, and I feel it really ought to be cheaper than it is. Not a stunner, but still a lovely and refreshing scent.

This opens up a bit too sour on me, something about the citrus in this doesn’t work with my skin. But after the citrus starts to fade I get a nice green hyacinth with iris that turns a little powdery as it dries down. It’s pleasant but not remarkable. Crushed remains my favorite Tokyo Milk fragrance.

I recently tried the solid perfume which I ordered blind as a mini sample because the notes and the reviews said it smelled strongly of hyacinth. I love the smell of hyacinth, which, for some reason, is exceedingly difficult to find. Any time I have found it, it usually ends up getting discontinued by the manufacturer before I can get my hands on a refill. This is great stuff for all of us hyacinth lovers. It goes on very strong at first. The smell is loud, green, almost overpowering floral. (A little goes a long way.) Be patient, though, because it fades down into a lovely true hyacinth scent. It reminds me of a hyacinth patch warmed in the sun. Underneath the hyacinth is a whisper of honey combined with a faint trail of fine triple milled soap. The effect is very uplifting and oh, so summery. I could even wear it during Autumn and winter when I just feel nostalgic for spring and summer.

Yet another nasty, sour-smelling Tokyo Milk fragrance. I don’t know if it’s my skin with some kind of reaction or if it’s the scent itself, but this house and I are not a successful pairing.

Hyacinth maxed out. Waxy, green and soapy with an earthy iris base.
My own personal associations with hyacinth make this a somewhat somber fragrance, so the “bleu” in the title is quite appropriate.
This fragrance makes you feel like you’re knee deep in hyacinth and there’s a slight breeze.

Very light and pretty green frag. Goes on crisp, a little sour, with sharp green. Dries down to a pretty and dusty gently sweet floral. I don’t really get any note stronger than another, seems well-balanced. The notes listed on the bottle are what you get, no surprises. This is one of my faves of the Tokyo Milks, good for a spring day. The art on the bottle is fitting. Not very potent or much sillage, I just get pleasant wafts throughout the day. Get alot of compliments when I wear this, particularly from people who don’t normally like perfumes. Reminds me of a popular fragrance (older) that I can’t place…
