Overwhelmingly flowery-perfumey at first spray, but after an hour or so it fades to a soft murmur of neroli and jasmine, with a lot of cardamom and a little vanilla. After the honking peonies settle down, it’s nothing to get excited about. Now and then I reach for the bottle and say “hmm, I haven’t worn this for a while,” but then I spray it on and remember why.
Top marks for the adorable heavy glass bottle. The swivel-sprayer is like those on some of the Aqua Allegoria bottles, but of sturdier construction (none of that wrinkly gold foil).

There is a peachy top note for sure but still remains dry and sharp with a mix of tea and peony flower. A bit boring for Guerlain but still has the DNA of an old world fragrance that is classier than the modern messes being created of sweet fruity floral madness. This is Guerlain but not one of their masterpieces. Pleasant and interesting to own as a collector. Won’t be one that I pull out often.

I am agreeing with Henriette.
Pretty, lovely – but not more! Some flowers, very correct, but no special image…
I expected much more from Guerlain, but this is definitely not his style. Very ordinal.
Sold…..

wow this is so lovely on my skin. share femininity.so fresh slightly powdery citrus. like a veile wafting around you .
I thought this was not my thing at all but got a sample and boom instent attraction.
It is such a delightfull mix off light florals. vanilla and tonkabeen . the coriander is making the whole thing more interesting.. i am normaly not very found off this note , but in this it makes a big differense. there is also a definit cardamom vibe. slightly sweet and spicy at the same time . im shure it is the mix that makes me feal this way about it.
very very lovely.

To me Secret Intention is DEFINITELY Guerlain.
It is deep and warm, feminine and surprising – lasts long and makes you want to whiff yourself…
Got it shortly after my father died as a present from a friend and though I was afraid I would associate it with the loss, it surprisingly swoothed me, somehow eased my pain and made me feel safe… Had a second bottle from an American site and keep it for very special occasions.
To my nose the lemon and coriander are completely lost in the top giving way to tea and the sweet invasion of the middle notes – soft background – both young and mature, very gentle, very soft…
And finally the base – the delicate trace of a perfectly balanced blend of the sandalwood and vanilla… beautiful sadness…or sad beauty…
DEFINITELY Guerlain!

This is one of the few perfumes which made me wonder: “What were they thinking at Guerlain when they created this?”. Totally out of tune with the rest of the (sublime) Guerlain production. It smells like a cheap fragrance with no depth, no soul in it. I gave it a try and used for some weeks but really nothing special at all, too much similar to other “all the same” fragrances around us
