First impression: a wild card that never smells the same!
Some days, that stuff is lovely and easy going.
Some others, it’s screechy and disagreeable.
Lately, I found out the scent would fluctuate in the most dramatic fashion, depending on the hand wash you’ve been using.
Liquid handwashes work best, whereas traditional soaps are a miss.
Fair enough. But I’ve never experienced such an insanely influenciable frag!!!
On the box, it says top notes are berries. Must be an error.
The fruitiness in the beginning is tropical: freshly sliced pineapple with a hint of mango.
Just nice enough – as long as these don’t turn into fake exotic salad or worse, artificial candy – I’m fine.
Frangipani was the reason why I bought it.
I’m very dubitative about it, whenever that EDT is in relaxed or snappy mood.
Amour by Kenzo is my frangipani top reference.
I guess my nose is so biased it desperately searches for how frangipani is supposed to smell like!
Since one couldn’t reasonably demand the elegant powderiness from Amour, I expected the main note to deliver flamboyant, solar flower goodness at least.
Meh. Frangipani is like the opening: just nice.
But wait! Happy ending 😀
Some reviewers get underlying chestnut: same for me!
That chestnut is neither starchy, nor marron glacé: mellow and reassuringly earthy enough, so comforting.
Whipped cream is non-existent.
But its second ingredient, i.e. confectionery sugar, is delicately sprinkled on top of chestnut.
Vanillic undertones become more obvious over time.
Combined with frangipani, it’s so intriguing and lovely that I can forgive the total absence of lushness.
In the end, that’s a really really nice EDT.
I’d have loved it to be on the exuberant side but I won’t say it’s boring though!
The 50 ml bottle costs under 10 euros but the juice doesn’t smell cheap at all.
I so appreciate it doesn’t smell like dessert or like a summer cliché.

Smells like a sweet toilet air freshener to me. There is nothing subtle about this one. Smells very chemical and cheap. And please do not compare this to the Oriflame Mirage Daydream because that one is way more feminine and subtle. This one is really badly mixed. A big no-no from me! ;(

Es un perfume de la familia dulce -gourmand, se siente dulce y cremoso, siento un pequeño olor a castañas aunque no esta descrito para el perfume. El olor me dura aproximadamente 2 horas como máximo pero por el precio esta super. Lo recomiendo !

Thanks @pommegom I’m in Australia & I’ve not seen this one yet. Sometimes we get things up to couple of years later but not always. I’ll keep my fingers crossed cos it sounds simple but nice.

At beginning reminded me Bonbon Viktor&Rolf vibe, but this is bit more settle, vanilla, cream and… not so “clear”. Fruity, sweet, vanilla, but not overwhelming. I would imagine different color bottle for this perfume. After about hour it faded as vanilla.

The bottle and the name are a bit misleading. This is not a children’s scent. Especially the 30 ml bottle looks very cheap, so I was truly surprised – positively! about the scent itself.
This is a gourmand scent, but not sugary sweet lollipop one. Wonderland has some kind of darkness, depth in it.
It doesn’t smell cheap.
I bought this out of curiosity and thinking I give it to my niece, but I’m keeping it. I love the scent, it reminds me of something positive from my past, cannot figure out what.
Lasts long on my skin. I’m going to hide the hideous bottle but I keep using it with pleasure, frangipani and whipped cream.. so delicious! Fits the fall season well, but I could take this to a beach holiday also.
This is truly a scent that deserves a better bottle and a better campaign.

Sammi_co: it’s in the UK brochure now. I think it’s £6 or something.

Does anybody know when this came out? Is it new or discontinued?

I love it! It’s a great whipped cream scent, warm and cozy, but perfect for the beach at the same time. The frangipani note is intensive too. Smells so good and delicious on the skin from the very opening. The other Fantasy line fragrances were synthetic to my nose, with a blast of artificial sweetness, but this is so good. A must have for all gourmand lovers!

As you may have guessed by the name and print ad, Avon have tried to capture Wonderstuck for this entry in the Secret Fantasy fragrance range… And they have pulled it of well enough. All of the Secret Fantasy fragrances seem to be based on popular ‘celeb scents’, but this is the closest they’ve come to the inspirational piece yet.
Secret Fantasy Wonderland applies with a sweet berry-lead fruit cocktail, before settling into a uncomplicated rose-lead powdered floral heart. The base of cream, sandalwood, and vanilla develops quickly and bleeds though into the fruit and florals, so the fragrance is quite linear.
It goes close to the skin quickly and barely lasts five hours, so I wouldn’t pay full price for it. I do recommend picking it up when it’s on offer though if you’re looking for a quieter sweet-and-feminine fragrance. I can’t imagine anyone finding it offensive, so it’s nice to wear if you have personal contact with the public at work.
This is not something that I think anyone will think of as a “wow” fragrance, but it is nice; whilst there’s nothing unique about Secret Fantasy Wonderland, there’s nothing disagreeable about it, so I don’t regret my blind buy of it.
This is something that I think is best to wear on lazy days and weekends as this fragrance feels casual; it’s what I pick to wear when I don’t want a ‘dressy’ structured fragrance, but still want something that packs a bit more punch then a body spray.
