This is quite lovely. The smell of lotus is fresh and undemanding but has a little something that catches you at moments. I agree it is a skin scent but it was very long lasting on me, I applied some before midday and I could still smell it on my wrist the next morning before washing. I had not refreshed at all. I bought my bottle off ebay with another of the scent essence range. It was cheap and a great bargain in my eyes, I’m going to look out for another. I also love Velvet Amber & Sparkling Citrus in this range. They are ideal summer scents.

These fragrances have just been released in Australia as a set of 3 mix and match scents. You can purchase them individually or as a set.
Blooming Lotus would have to be my favourite of the three.
Sharp, aquatic floral that dries down to a slightly musky base, doesn’t seem to lose that sharp lotus aquatic opening which is good.
Lasts about three hours on me before it needs to be refreshed.
Comes in a tiny 30ml bottle with the directions to apply lavishly. If you did that you would be through the bottle in three to four applications. Needs to be a bigger bottle.
Reminds me very much of the Ed Hardy range of fruity/floral scents and just about everything else out there with a fruity/floral base.
Can be layered with the other two fragrances, Blushing Raspberry and Wild Bergamot. They just make the fragrance smell like a more rounded floral/fruity concoction as you add more layers.
I like it but it is nothing new that I haven’t smelt before.

This is so similar to Avon’s ‘Beautiful Day’ shower gel my Grandmother used to use. I’d stay over and have a shower in the morning with it and I loved it. It’s since been discontinued.
This is very much a skin scent, and would definitely need to be reapplied throughout the day. It’s aquatic, floral and fresh – great for ‘Jeans and T shirt’ kind of days.
Very simple, uplifting and carefree but lacks projection and individuality.
