Description

The house of Bruno Acampora has carefully guarded their fragrant essences for over 30 years unchanged and packed in special aluminum flacons which were sealed and waxed. This house was founded in 1960es and it is characteristic for using highest quality ingredients from all over the world. This prestigious collection counts seven fragrances packed inside hand-made flacons.

In company of fragrances Sballo, Blu, Iranzol, Prima T, Seplasia, Musc and Jasmin, Bruno Acampora invites you to join him for a fragrant journey from London over Paris and Milan to hot Sahara desert where he found inspiration and certain ingredients for his fragrant compositions. On that journey he stopped in Rio de Janeiro, Caribbean, and Antilles to gather his impressions in a collection of olfactive memories for the whole life.

All fragrances of the house of Bruno Acampora are available in aluminum flacons of the same shape in amounts of 5, 10 and 20 ml, accompanied with a body care collection. There is a limited edition of the flacon The Silver Bottle, which is hand-made and engraved with Greek motifs, with a stopper decorated with a silver star. Only 100 these flacons are offered.

Sballo is a fragrance in which aromas of pollen and petals intertwine just like spring daydreams of wild meadows full of field flowers. It is coloured in earth nuances, and its composition includes rose, geranium, violet, neroli in top notes which announce beautiful tacts of a heart – musk, Penang patchouli, resin and sandalwood. A base of Sballo fragrance encompasses vetiver, hay and sage.
Sballo Bruno Perfume Oil was launched in 1977.

I stand at the entrance of a wooden chapel in the middle of a hayfield. The sun sets down on another cool, early autumn day. Fields as far as the eye can see. The chapel contains vases full of freshly picked roses, the scent wafting to the outside, and resins have been burnt. I reminisce the summer months that have passed and am unease about the upcoming colder months.

A really curious scent. Resinous rose with a twist from the hay, Vetiver and geranium. Bruno certainly seems to favour these particular notes.
The rose is very evident along with the geranium bolstering it. With time I swear the green notes get stronger buts more like other notes are fading.
The thyme definitely rules with time. I quite like the herbal twist. Finally the warm sweet resins dominate with a touch of vetiver as it finally fades.
There is something about it that reminds me of 4160 Tuesdays Who Knew. It smells like it could be a Chypre.
I’d say it was unisex and nice to wear at night. This is an oil with good longevity but the sillage is no more than arms length.

Smells bitter to me! I do get rose and many of the notes listed, but definitely smells strong and bitter.

If you like the scent of dried bales of hay and lots of it, to near exclusion of all else, then you have found your El Dorado in Sballo. There is so much hay, and so intense, that it actually makes my stomach turn a little. There is also a nice geranium note as well as something delicately sweet, green, and herbal in this concoction. I also smell a hint of patchouli, but thankfully the nose kept it at bay and didn’t let it get too pungent. Nothing takes me straight to my family’s farmland like this does.
It’s a nice perfume I guess, but I find it a bit flat, probably due to it being an oil.

Finally a fragrance I like from Acampora; I tried 7 of the ladies parfums and all of them I could not stand but Sballo stands out of the crowd ;)! It is not a girlie fragrance but for an elegant lady (it reminds me of Opium). Like it – and the fact that Bruno Acampora can make parfums I also love!

To make the most musc this must wait for its full evolution that takes about 15 minutes going from a beginning almost unpleasant to evolve into a soft animal-like but never cloying note moderately floral persists for about 2 days, I really love this series also Seplasia, First T and Iranzol, aroma of undergrowth wet summer, scent is not for everyone.

    Beware:
This is a patchouli based perfume!
strong as hell. I definitely smell the rose.
Here the rose is green; stripped of it floral aspects
along with a stack of hay, sage and vetiver
wrapped up in bundles of patchouli stuck to clumps of resin
its also a little spicy and im wondering
is the what lily and geranium mixed together with musk smells like?
    i dont know
    its kinda gnarly smelling
    must be very 1977
Its strange for me this perfume in that i dont think it smells good
when im thinking about it but i like the feeling of having it on
I have a good friend who loves patchouli and im wondering would he love this?
I will be sending him some
    update:
Once the perfume settles down for a few hours
the romantic side of this really comes out
it always stays a little wild but it also has a hard to describe
    vintage type prettiness to it
although i am still curious as to whether or not this would work on a man it might be best suited for a lady
