An unusual blend of coconut! sour, yet sweet and woody!
when i first tried it on a plotter i kind of passed by and left it alone, till i came back and re-sniffed the plotter again. It needs quite a bit in order to unleash the beauty it held.
It starts quite wool, with citrus sourness and a bit of coconut milk and some harsh wood (sandalwood), as it goes quite harsh for few minutes (mostly 4 mins). Afterwards, the coconut milk builds up with cedar and wood fillings, with big doses of sweet vanilla, and some violets. The amber and the musk are there but aren’t shown quite clear, they are just making a fuzz and darken the atmosphere while the dominant is the coconut milk, and vanilla with some violets, and sandalwood.
Its quite a bless actually since this house is oud based brand as they deal with the row oud material but they decided recently to go and create their line of perfumes, while this doesn’t have oud, but balanced and nicely done.
Edit (20th Dec 2017) I am sampling it again now, it is quite a creamy milky coconut with vanilla, sandalwood, and light amber. It is a bit of citrus to add that mild sourness to the blend rather than being a cloying sweet. It is quite impressive actually for the ones who like gourmands, and sweet fragrances. very interesting.

Great sweet tropical scent with a beautiful uplifting opening similar to VIW by creed but the coconut note is more creamy as in Philosykos by Diptyque. This fragrance is very well blended but once again that price range is too high for this kind of scent. This is “déja vu””déja senti”.

Santal Complet is the coconut based fragrance that I have always wanted. It is the perfect balance between creamy aspects of coconut with just the right amount of citrus (so as not to take the spotlight from the coconut – unlike in Creed VIW) sitting on top of a beautiful creamy sandal wood, sweet amber, and vanilla base. Lasts about 4-5 hours with decent projection and then projection drops some, but keeps going for another 2-3 hours. Wonderful!
Tried and sold Creed Virgin Island Water and Cocobello, which are both very different fragrances from Santal Complet.
This has no oud in it. So, it is sort of hard to justify the asking price for this juice, but it is sooooo good I succumbed and made the purchase.
