Laki-89 – :
After being unable to find this from a U.S. seller, I had to order it from Germany.
Admittedly, this was a blind buy for me and the notes sounded interesting, especially the camphor note that I’ve recently become so entranced with, after buying a bottle of CdG Hinoki.
With the top notes being listed as yuzu, cinnamon and camphor, I found this to be one of the more unique combinations found among fragrances. What I thought it would be was a slightly spicy citrus, was much more along the lines of a fresh, uplifting and “sporty” fragrance.
As soon I sprayed it on, I got a blast of a freshness, with the yuzu, water mint and green notes working very well together. What I’d hoped would be a strong camphor note is slight and stands in the background as a supporting player, along with only the slightest hint of white musk. I don’t notice the cinnamon or sandalwood notes at all.
This is a a scent that will wake you up and is excellent for after the gym or showering. Ultimately, I’d consider this to be along the lines of a sport fragrance.
Bottom line: Fresh, clean and green. It’s versatile, unoffensive and “sporty”.
