To be honest I initially added this to my Al Rehab order because my name is Sandra and well…you know. I completely get a Fantasy vibe from this but like this sooo much better. The underlying warmth just reeled me in after the initial Fantasy blast. To me Fantasy is for going shopping with the girls and then grabbing a bite-Sandra is for that first date with that gorgeous person you want to leave with a beautiful memory of you and that enchanting smell that made them want to lean in closer…

I have several of these wonderful (affordable) oils from Al Rehab and Sandra is another winner. It is feminine, fruity, vanilla and long lasting. True it is similar to Britney Spears Fantasy but to my nose Sandra is warmer, less perfumy and more organic smelling. Excellent scent. I got a great bargain on ebay for $5.49.

Yes, immediately I, too, thought of ‘Fantasy’. Very nice. I’m normally not drawn to this type of fragrance, but this is working very well for a cool, spring day.
EDIT: I really like how Sandra performs on the dry-down! An hour in, some of the louder notes at the beginning have subsided, the beautiful, woody-musky base with just the right touches of vanilla and patch is more-noticeable. Very relaxing. It’s creamy, fresh-floral, with sprightly fruit-notes, and that smooth base is glorious. I like this better than Fantasy, actually, as Fantasy has an annoying synthetic note that I’m no fan of. Sandra, on the other hand, is excellent from beginning to end.
If some reviewers are comparing this to original, pre-reformulated Fantasy, I believe it. These last years I’ve seen so many great frags get hacked to death with new IFRA regs. Sad. Thank god for Al Rehab!
EDIT: Anyone else notice the subtle pink pepper note? This has moved from “Like” to “Like Very Much” for me.

To me, the rollerball oil version is better and has more depth. It does remind me of BS Fantasy, it’s like Fantasy older sister-more grown up and less candy sweet-due to the spice and incense notes that i get. Totally wearable in the daytime in rainy season (i live in tropical country, sweet scents usually end up too cloying for our summer sunny days).
Since many people compare Fantastic to Fantasy too, i’ll try to get Fantastic and compare it with Sandra soon.
    Edit :
So my fantastic arrived today, i order the edp because it’s hard to find the oil version in my country right now.
It does, let’s say, 85% similar to Sandra. But Sandra has more spice/incense kick to it that makes it smells more oriental to me. Fantastic has a better sillage whilst Sandra has a way better longevity. Well, For full impact you can layer them both

Sweet fruity floral with a bit of incense. Apply sparingly as it has very good projection. Like all rehab fragrances I expect this to last for hours and hours. I detect a subtle grape. For some strange reason it reminds me of Alien….it could be Alien’s little sister. It doesn’t have the complexity of Alien and is more linear. Very nice. Excellent price! I have read that in the Middle East fragrance is considered as a commodity and not a luxury product hence it is available to everyone…. like soap, shampoo etc.

So this is one of my latest budget Al Rehab oil purchases, and I am very pleased. Sandra is indeed an excellent dupe of Britney Spears Fantasy, only better! I did a side by side comparison, as I have both. The Sandra oil is somewhat richer, projects much better and definitely is longer lasting. I could see using both together, if I wanted to have a scent on my clothes. I have to say I find this gourmand, girly, delicious, ultra sweet oil to be another winner from Al Rehab.

Having bought a few rollerball perfume oils in recent months, by Al Rehab and Al Aneeq, I was interested to try some more and, based on the reviews on here and on another website, decided to order Sandra and also Fantastic.
It probably didn’t help that my rollerball of Sandra had been poorly packaged and that the lid was half off when I opened the package and some of the oil had, as a result, come off inside the envelope it was contained in. So, I smelled the perfume heavily even before I opened the package.
Personally, I don’t get the comparisons to Britney Spear’s Fantasy. This perfume is heavier and mustier and there’s a note in it that I find really annoying, and which makes me feel queasy! I think it’s probably the incense but it also smells slightly licorice’y to me too. Whatever the note is, I find it repellant. I hoped that this perfume oil would smell better once I’d swished a little on my wrist, after half an hour or so, but it didn’t and I stomached it for an hour or so and then had to wash it off because it stank!
I also don’t get the comparisons to Fantastic (by Al Rehab) either. Fantastic smells so much more likeable and appealing to me. It’s softer, cleaner, more creamy and (thank god!) is devoid of any putrid, heavy, stinky notes! Now this one I REALLY like, and it gets better the longer it’s on my wrist!! It reminds me of a perfume I had years ago, and I think that was an Avon perfume that smelled very soft and a bit baby-powder’ish and which was lovely (I can’t remember the name of it though and I’m certain they don’t do it anymore anyway!). I’ll definitely be ordering more of the Fantastic perfume oil rollerballs!
Sandra might appeal to anyone who likes heavy, musty, ‘can’t scrub off even with a scrubbing brush’ types of perfumes. Unfortunately for me though, those are the types of perfumes I detest so this one’s either going in the bin or, if anyone’s interested (UK only) I’d consider swapping it!

This is my review on the spray pen. This does smell like Britney Fantasy but since I don’t own Fantasy and has only tried it a few times at the store, I can’t do a proper comparison. It doesn’t last long at all. Perhaps the oil would be better.

On ebay I bought a new al rehab called “so sweet ” which is a lot like this with less fruit more sweet! Lovely

Sandra grew on me. I find myself grabbing for it on days i don’t know what to wear or when I’m lounging Around the house. I liked it when i first got it but now its almost a love. It’s definitely long lasting and has wonderful sillage. What i like about this scent is that it changes constantly throughout the day so i never become nose blind to it. Other scents i get used to and quit being able to smell it after a while, not with this one! I’ve never tried BS fantasy so i can’t compare. To me it starts off a warm, vanilla, passion flower and dark berry scent. It changes to a fruity gourmand with woody notes. Incense makes this deeper, and “grey” (the feeling of grey, i hope I’m making sense, lol). Not smoky but foggy. Sometimes it smells similar to Taylor Swift Incredible Things and other times it smells similar to jimmy choo flash but a thicker and boozier one. This oil ends as a boozy, foggy, vanilla woods with undertones of grapes. It’s really good imo. Perfect for days you just want to smell good and relax.

A juicy, fruity opening happily turns sweet and almost creamy in the dry down. But it takes awhile to get there. This is softly, seriously long lasting. Thumbs up for longevity!
And there is no doubt about it – a distinct ‘Aha, this is Britney Spear’s Fantasy!’ moment. The only difference? It doesn’t seem as sour. I do think the kiwi is either less pronounced or missing in this rendition of the popular fragrance, and that’s no bad thing for this kiwi hater. 😀
Would make an hilariously reminiscent stocking stuffer for anybody Britney’s age…. or younger. 😉

Same quality and longevity I have come to expect from Al Rehab. I have heard many comparisons to BS Fantasy but having never tried it I can only give my own, it reminded me quite a bit of Jeanne Arthes Capricieuse. That one was a bit of a disappointment for me because it had very weak longevity. Now Sandra stays put and for under 5 bucks for a 6 ml rollerball you can’t go wrong 🙂

I get Fantasy by Britney Spears. Another flanker, Fantasy Saudi Arabian Remix. Tiny treasure!

I think that this perfume is definitely the same as Fantastic for the first 30 minutes. It then gets a different note, something singing higher that stops it being too sweet. I have had it on for over 3 hours now and it smells classy, no ‘banana-y’ note, like Fantastic, but smells expensive – if that is an ‘official’ note in perfume. I’m loving this one.
January 2018: Must have loved this one – just went to put it on again and it’s all gone and I didn’t get a new one. Must remedy that!

This is a very sweet, fruity floral on my skin. The longevity is good. Not bad for a mega cheap scent! I don’t get much vanilla but definitely get musk on the dry down.

update.. Ive now bought more of this in the form of a pocket spray, it has an initial celery twang which dies out and your left with sandra as it is in the oil. Ive also stocked up on more oil because its so beautiful! my husband particularly likes it on me he says its very sexy and ladylike! great for a next to nothing perfume

I don’t think it smell like Al Rehab fantastic. This more loud, fruity flower and a kinda vanilla dry down.I like fantastic more.

I just got this today and it smells exactly like al rehab fantastic, which in probably my favourite so im not complaining! Good for anyone who wants an oil version of fantastic.
Update… I got an 18ml pocket spray from ebay and it is as intense and long lasting as the oil. It was still strong after 5 hours. I love this perfume the more I wear it

Sandra and’ indeed very similar to fantasy. In this it misses the fizzy note of the kiwi..it misses the light note and yielded of fantasy..Sandra is more warm vanilla…to me with to spend some times it gets tired his linear sweetness.
    Sillage e longevity 8/10

If you are looking for a pre-reformulation Fantasy, look no futher. This is it! And it is DELISH. Absolutely beautiful sweet vanilla cupcake with a bit of fruit thrown in. Warm and comforting and honest to god just like Britney Spears Fantasy in the good ol’ days 🙂

This is a delightful little gem of a scent. It’s rich and elegant and the oil version is intense and long lasting. I wore it to work today and received many compliments.
It has a perfect combination of fruitiness and creaminess that is just beautiful. So long lasting and intense with great sillage. Excellent value for money!

It’s all sweet fruits with real depth and I think I get a bit of caramel in this. In the background faintly is the scent of florals. It’s hard to explain but to me in a nutshell is,
    sweet
    fruity
    citrus
    floral
    powdery

I have been a fan of Fantasy since it’s release. Fantasy does not smell how it did originally, which broke my heart, and with how inexpensive Sandra was, I decided to go for it. I was very skeptical about this smelling like the original Fantasy before the reformulation, but it is spot on!!! Fantasy was my 1st perfume love. When I have tried the recent Fantasy versions, it smells like Fantasy but there is something not quite right. Sandra literally is the old, better Fantasy that is not only cheaper, but it is also more beautiful, and alcohol free. I wish I could find larger bottles aside from 2ml and 6ml roll ons.

I must have gotten a bad batch because mines seems very watery with not a lot of sillage or longevity.
I have Choco Musk, which I love, and you can smell it from a mile away and the consistency of the liquid is thicker.

  27. :

This is very sweet, but to me it’s nothing like fantasy, it has a real non-synthetic fruit quality and depth that Fantasy lacks. Fantasy smells like a crappy air freshener imitation of this stuff.

I was in the locker room after a long work out and I put this on before I got out of the shower. I had so many people compliment me on my ‘hair product’ and ask me what it was. I told them it was oil I purchased to test. Judging from the compliments I got, it’s a keeper! I do know a little goes a LONG way. I learned that the hard way…
    This will not disappoint.

I used Fantasy several years ago and it was nice, but I wasn’t in love with it. Sandra came today, and like others said, it’s honestly a much better version of Fantasy for a fraction of the price. There was something about Fantasy that rubbed me the wrong way – a sour bitterness that was headache-inducing – that isn’t present in Sandra. Before I even opened the bubblewrap and box, I could smell the oil… YUM! The notes listed here are correct for the most part, but I think amber should be in the top three. I think there is an even mix of vanilla and amber. Ladies and gentleman, I got this for $5 on eBay. Out of Choco Musk, Soft, Rasha, and Sandra (although I haven’t worn Choco Musk or Soft for a full day) I’m inclined to say that Sandra is my favorite. I like but not love straight-up gourmands. I crave scents with a sexiness… some woodiness, amber or spiciness to anchor it. This is potent like the others. Less is more. If you want more, build it up from nothing. You can always add more. A dab on wrists and neck is sufficient – and blend, blend, blend!

Reminds me of the almost foody vanilla of Lacoste pour Femme’s heliotrope, minus suede. Sandra lasts longer and has quite heavy sillage.

love.. a very warm sweet, almost gourmand vanilla but not quite foody enough.. I get a hint of incense, musk and some floral but cannot identify which flower..
Goes to a skin scent after the first half hour on me but lasted 10+ hours..

This is very similar to BS Fantasy except Sandra is sharper but dries down leaving a smoother scent ad lacks the fruitiness from kiwi. Extremely long lasting and good sillage.
