Fruity deliciousness. I smell the pineapple. I was hoping to smell it and there it was. It opens like a tropical beach smell. There was something similar to Jungle Gardenia by Coty (not Tuvache). The gardenia scent is what most dominates this fragrance so you have to really love gardenia and I do. The other flowers are white floral scents of freesia, jasmine, and a big tuberose. Beautiful white flowers. It’s sweet and pretty strong, sometimes reminiscent of White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor but less inky and that pink soft peony flower really does sweeten everything as does the light woods/sandalwood. This is really nice. A little goes a long way. I was enchanted by this fragrance. It’s tropical and white, lots of gardenia and pineapple. The dry down also contains a beautiful amber. I think it’s perfect for summer and the beach. Since I don’t know too many other girls wearing this I get asked what fragrance I’m wearing all the time. I highly recommend it.

Most hardcore perfumistas are familiar with Salome by Papillon Artisan but Carla Fracci’s Salome is an entirely different animal. This fragrance is a fruity floral innocent babe, Salome as if she had never lost her mind, and had never danced her infamous Dance of the Seven Veils. This is a feminine, girly girl fragrance of spring time and flowers. A heavy gardenia hits your nose as it opens, followed by fruity scents of pineapple, grapefruit and bergamot. It’s tropical like a oasis in the middle of the desert in the Sinai. The heart of this fragrance is floral with roses, jasmines, peonies and magnolia, tuberose and freesia. The sandalwood and amber at the bottom give it a slightly Oriental woodsy touch but it’s not giving me a real big Oriental vibe. It’s strictly a fruity floral but it’s very well done. For an indie fragrance, this is beautiful. This is to be worn for spring and summer in the day time

Absolutely beautiful, but a bit to short lasting unfortunately..Light and flowery, but a bit seductive at the same time..
A scent you can wear any time of year to most occasions.

Every perfume by Fracci is aristocratic, this new scent is like a fine nostalgia for Shalimar, powdery and refined.
