This is a very heavy oriental. An imagining of what Middle Easterners like for perfume – not surprising considering that this perfume is (to my knowledge) exclusive to Middle East distributors. I bought it in Cairo after spending a couple of hours smelling everything that the sales assistant told me had “oud.” This definitely does not have real oud (now that I know what that actually smells like). It is a sweet incense scent – very overpowering, so pray with caution. I rarely reach for it, but when I do, I get lots of compliments.

Oh at last! I have this fragrance for a couple of months and I wondered why I couldn’t find it on fragrantica. I could hardly find any information about it on the internet at all. Mysterious blind buy… And I don’t regret the gamble. It is a lovely deep woody (oud-y?) scent. Solid, but not too heavy. A bit medicinal. Special. I love it.
Edit: recently bought Noble Wood by ST Dupont, and they are very similar. So much so that I regret owning them both. Should have bought another one from this series.
