Pomegranate used in perfume intrigues me. I first smelt this note in Calvin Klein’s Euphoria, a fragrance I wore almost exclusively during Autumn this year. I ordered a sample of Rouge Pomegranate hoping to be blown away, unfortunately this was not the case.
Rouge Pomegranate smells quite sour on my skin. It strikes me as being rather acidic, not unlike a juicy pineapple. It’s not a fragrance that works well with my chemistry. It almost smells like someone peed on my arm.
The sour pomegranate accord in Euphoria was toned down by notes of orchid and mahogany, whereas in Rouge Pomegranate this note has not been tampered with, and stands alone in all its sour and acidic glory.
Observing the reviews below mine, Rouge Pomegranate obviously works for some. It has a somewhat spicy, peppery quality to it as well, so I would definitely describe it as unique. Rouge Pomegranate also has great projection.
I would highly recommend testing this fragrance before you buy. Rouge Pomegranate would more than likely appeal to those that enjoy fruity florals, particularly those with a sour quality.

It smells very fresh & fruity, like I’ve got the juice of the fruit freshly spilt onto my wrist. I find it to be a very interesting and unique smell.

Sweet pomegranate. It smells just like the fruit out of the bottle. But applied on skin it gets slightly warmer.
A nice soft summer scent
