I hate rose. So it’s a testament to how much I liked The Darbouka, from this same brand, that I was willing to spray this on my skin.
And I’m going to write a review, even though it makes no sense for a rose hater to review a rose fragrance, because so far there is no other and this fragrance deserves one.
Happily for me, this turned out to be the one kind of rose fragrance that I can bear and that is the kind made with a beautiful, fruity rose absolute that smells almost more like berries than rose. It’s a fresh, pretty, sweet and girly rose with berries and vanilla similar to Juliette has a Gun Miss Charming and Tauer’s Une Rose Vermielle. It seemed to be well balanced and made of good quality materials.
