I am constantly on a mission to find a rose that is soapy like Chloe. This was a fail for me. My nose cannot really smell this frag at all. It is there but SO mild. I am certain that no one else can smell it either. I truly don’t love it. The mild aroma that i am able to smell is good, but just not strong enough for me. I like very strong perfumes. If anyone wants to trade something for the hugest bottle of this (used once) please contact me. I know many people love this. It is just not my jam.

I have been looking for a scent of roses in perfumes for a long time, because it is one of my favorite aromas.
The rose in this bottle is not trashy artificial, tampered with. It is natural, light and pleasant. My nose senses delicate jasmine in these perfumes – another favorite flower. For me it is simply enchanting.
As for a light floral scent, it is also very durable, quietly accompanies us for several hours.
The bottle is very classic, heavy; I like when the bottle weighs more, because I feel that it will not fall out of my hand.
I recommend it to anyone who wants a casual, pleasant day perfume.

    The One Rose By D&G:
Have had this perfume for awhile now,& have only wore it around three times to be honest!! Giving it another test drive today to see if my opinion of it has somewhat changed & I’m sorry to say that it really hasn’t & I simply hate this D&G perfume with vengeance!! Today is a warm & humid day & I want to see if this perfume performs any better on me!! At First spray all I get is the most horrible sour synthetic Grapefruit note absolutely NO Rose at all, & it’s certainly not at all fresh on my skin!! (A bitter sour hum) This is the worst perfume that the house of D&G has ever made in my honest opinion, they’ve certainly discontinued far far nicer perfumes than this, (By,Femme etc) & choose to keep this little scrubber alive!! Really can’t get my head around it to be honest!! Can’t wait to wash this off me asap absolutely horrendous sour stinking mess of a perfume!! Silage is also awful after two hours it’s completely gone which isn’t a bad thing to be honest!!

A friend gave me a bottle of this. It starts out strong and unpleasant, with a chemical floral scent. After it settles I get subtle chemical floral. No identifiable notes or anything unique going on. I never tried the original, so I can’t say how it compares. Luckily the scent only last a couple of hours. I passed my bottle along to a relative to see if she has a better experience with it.

Sweet-and-sour rose. The sweet is the litchi, the sour is the grapefruit. I don’t know if my skin amps grapefruit or what but it really comes out sharply on me.
I’ll use up my sample but I don’t find this particularly special.

I bought rose the one back in 2012. At first it was too strong for me to wear, the sillage with this perfume is outrageous! LESS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! I had a bright idea because I didn’t want my perfume to go to waste so I decided to use it in my bath water. 20 pumps & soak. WHAT AN AMAZING DISCOVERY FOR ME. My boyfriend buried himself in me (not trying to be rude or elicit), what a romantic night. After that night every time he passed by that bottle of perfume he HAD to pick it up and smell it.

I tried this as I was curious about the Rose bit and was disappointed. It turned out to be a watery scent with hardly any sillage. The perfume didn’t last long and scent was generic, nothing remarkable, smelt like rose and litchie water.

This should be called “the one litchi” but the marketing department was scared of that . Picture regular “the one” warm vanilla with lily and up the sweet fruity litchi. Theres florals in here, but the rose isn’t that dominant. Its no Stella. I like it, but I’m a fan of the original as well

  9. :

    creamy
The beautiful rose is as creamy as the mist, it is accompanied by lily of the valley, peony and grapefruit, has some freshness, delicacy, can be perceived as similar to other perfumes, rather to the characteristic I do not count this scent.

I bought a rollerball and I’m SO glad I did that instead of buying a whole bottle blind which is what I’m notorious for. It’s not a “bad” scent, it’s just boring, generic, and totally uninteresting to me. The price is also totally unwarranted for its almost non existent longevity and silage. To me it smells like something Paris Hilton would put out. Not bad, but not good. Just kinda there for an hour until it vanishes completely. I guess it just wasn’t for me.

Been wearing this perfume on and off for two weeks now, and all I can say is: hmmm., I don’t know if I got a bad batch or something, but what comes out of my bottle smells good, but it is also very weak. After like 20 it is completly gone and just a faint smell of roses is left. Nice, but not what I had hopef for.
The initial burst of fragrance is nice however. Loads of what I love: lychee, rose, peony.. It is a classy scent, and also quite innocent. Lovely, but the sillage and longevity is not great at least not in my bottle.

although I’m not a fan of fruity fragrances, i do like this one. its very romantic and delicate. I chose this for my wedding at that time (i was 19) layered over pure white musk. i probably would have chosen something else now but it is still a nice spring/summer fragrance. I do imagine it like a nice baby pink dress with rose gold necklace. its so romantic and girly.

I really love this fragrance. Feminine, juicy but delicate and elegant.
It makes me feel confident, and it’s the only perfume i wore for the past months.
I love it because it’s rich but i find it really fresh and wearable at the same time, for every mood.
I live in Sicily and i can hardly find it in stores cause, they told me, it’s going out of production. I really hope that’s not true =(

Personally, I prefer regular ‘The one’ much better.
They do smell similar, but the litchi stands out for sure. The normal ‘The one’ is way better

Romantic, girly, pretty, elegant. Rose gold is for romantics. I love this perfume so much, I’m on my fourth bottle right now, I hope it doesn’t get discontinued.

I love this perfume for daytime during spring, summer, and early fall. It’s completely office appropriate as it dies down quite softly. The only drawback to this perfume is that it doesn’t last longer. I love the initial scent it gives when first sprayed from the bottle although it might be too strong for others.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

I really like this fragrance. To me it rapresents the perfect marriage between the original The One and Chloe EDP. Feminine, chic, seductive without being sexy.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

I actually really like this. It is fruity and rosy. The scent is soft and stays close to your skin, there’s no sillage to speak of here. Great for any time of the year. Quiet, subtle, and subdued. I am not a fan of rose scents, but this is beautiful.
The only problem is that it lasts maybe all of two hours on my skin. You must either have some with you to reapply every two or three hours, or settle for knowing you will smell like nothing after this quickly wears off. If I had a full-sized bottle of this, I would go through it in a flash.
    This has been discontinued, sadly.

I was surprised at how old-fashioned the rose was in this fragrance. I thought it was not memorable enough for my taste..

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Opening is a strong blast of grapefruity, litchi rose notes. The fruity notes outshine the florals for a good while. Even as a strong rose contender, Dolce & Gabbana fragrances always have a signature softness to them. Almost too soft in my opinion, which is one of the reasons D&G consistently has longevity issues with many of their scents. Though I don’t think sillage is a problem for this perfume. Drydown is very fruity. A little too fruity for my liking… Either that, or the grapefruit just kills it for me. After the notes settle, I can detect peony, black currant, and musk. But I don’t particularly care for the combination of fruity florals found in Rose the One. The rose note is pleasing and similar to the rose found in Guerlain Idylle Sublime. However, I much prefer the Guerlain fragrance. The fruity litchi note in Sublime is much more subdued, allowing the beautiful musky rose to shine. If you are searching for a pure, untainted rose, I highly suggest testing Guerlain Idylle Sublime. As for D&G Rose the One, I will pass.

This one does what it says on the tin. It’s The One. With rose. And litchi instead of peach. I do like this one better than the original, it’s quite lovely, soft, fluffy. More Scarlett Johansson than Gisele Bündchen, if you will.

  24. :

    Seductive, Seductress, Seduction.
That’s what this delicious perfume is when it’s on me and what I am when it caresses my skin.
    It makes me ‘drinkable’.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

I always try this one when I am out shopping, I want to like it so bad for the name. But honestly what a disappointment sweet piercing rose on a bed of unidentifiable watered down florals. Lasting power and projection are well below par for the price! I wouldn’t even buy it if I saw it going really cheap, and I probably wouldn’t reach for it if I received it as a gift either. It is boring and completely uninteresting to me. Within me, it evokes nothing.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

Rose The One by Dolce & Gabbana is all about the rose, as is very indicative from the name itself. Excellently put together, the fragrance speaks softly for itself, but has its own very special message to convey.
Rose The One is a step cleaner and less complex than the original The One; the vanilla is a little less intense, the woods are toned down, and the rose is significantly more evident. A candied rose-litchi-citrus accord is paired with very subtle woods in this fragrance. It’s a very unique fragrance as a fragrance of such a character could certainly be perceived as being a regular old fruity floral, but this particular number is actually miles away from that banality.
Balance is a word that strikes me every time I try this; yes, there is ample rose, yes, there is a whack of citrus and litchi, yes, there are soft woods murmuring in the background that could have been not-so-soft. Needless to say, this flanker to the original is very well calibrated, and probably even better than the original in that regard.
Remaining quite linear throughout most of its presence, Rose The One does hit all the right notes, but sometimes a little more is left to be desired. There is mostly no evolution from the candied rose, which is sometimes very interesting, and sometimes a little tiresome.
Rose The One is certainly the one you should go for if you’re looking for a simple, everyday scent that’s very vibrant, classy and different. I do like it, but I’m not sure if I love it just yet. Softly peachy and coolly decadent. This fragrance is pretty good.

It is still available in USA, UK, Germany and few other countries at beautyspin.com
The rose note is wrapped into the sweet powdery cloud, and non of those are my favourite, so logically I should dislike this one. But somehow, I don’t. I find it quite pretty, but it is not the love. I do not know why, but it reminds me (just a bit) of Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood. Not saying that they are similar, but Boudoir come on my mind after smelling Rose The One.
    UPDATE:
I kept testing it with a sample I got in Sephora, and it really has very interesting dry down on me. At the end, I think I should have a perfume like this in my collection, I can easily imagine wearing this in winter, making air around me much warmer. Hm, I would never think that this one will develop from “dislike” to “buy”!!!
And I can still find similarity with Boudoir, but this one is more gentle, softer, and wearable, I guess it is powder that I can smell in it.

I’ve been searching for anything similar ever since…to no avail.

I had the chance to buy a used bottle of this, that was about 2/3rds full. I don’t always like rose scents, but this is amazing. It truly does smell like rose, but well blended with other notes. The rose note really stands out to me, but in a good way. I’m so glad I got this, and wish it wasn’t discontinued.

Another beauty discontinued. For me, that makes number 8 in 3-4 years time that I found out has been discontinued. I’m getting to the point, I won’t ever buy designer again. I’m tired of being heartbroken. Below are the perfumes
    Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial
    Guerlain My Insolence
    Dior Midnight Poison
    Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle
    Lanvin Oxygène
    Giorgio Armani Sensi
    Ralph Lauren Style
    Dolce&Gabbana Rose the One
Edit to add: Make that 9 perfumes that have been discontinued and add Gucci Eau de Parfum II
Don’t even get me started about Fendi. Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) the owners of Dior, Guerlain, and Fendi, is on my bad list.
Edit 2: Make it 11 that are discontinued Bvlgari Pour Femme and Bvlgari Rose Essentielle.
I must have bad taste in perfume that all the ones I like or love are being discontinued. 🙁

That is so sad, what a bummer! I am disappointed! >.<
I will really cherish and use sparingly my bottle then! So glad I chose it.
Why do all my faves get discontinued lol (Miss Dior Cherie)…
This is the only Rose I have and can stand other than VW Embrace Rose Buds Vanilla :/ (which is really just vanilla lol)

I bought the 75 ml edp in 2012 and in 2011 I bought my first bottle of DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom and in 2013 my second, and not until today I noticed, that these scents are very similar!
Today was a beautiful summer’s day in The Netherlands (although officialy it is still spring), I went swimming and when I came home I took a shower and applied aftersun with aloe vera over my body. Suddenly I was in the mood to wear DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, but first I went on with rubbing the after sun all over my body, then I changed my mind and wore Rose The One instead, I thought that it would just be a little bit more feminine and seductive and less casual.
Then I finally noticed, after owning both scents together for four years now, that the scents are very much alike, both are easily described as flirty. Rose The One is like DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, but with less grapefruit and without the jasmin, which makes the rose shine more. They both contain rose, grapefruit and lilly of the valley. Rose The One contains black currant, while DKNY contains cassis, which smells very similar, especially combined with all the other ingredients, Rose the One contains sandalwood, while DKNY also contains, not otherwise specified, woodsy notes. The vanilla and musk in Rose The One gives Rose The One the extra sensuality compared to DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom.
Allthough Rose The One has a really delicious romantic smell, it is a little bit too soft for me. I got complimented when I wore it to work, so it has enough sillage to be noted by others, but I find the scent to weak, even though it is an eau de perfume, DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom is an eau de toilette, but it smells and wears like an eau de perfume and that is why I wear my DKNY Be Delicious more often and why I am already on the second bottle of that scent, while I am still on the first bottle of Rose The One.
I really love rose scents, that is why I bought this scent, but this one is a little bit too soft and delicate for me. I love Rose by Paul Smith and Parisienne by Yves Saint Laurent a lot more, they are both more outspoken, so if I am in the mood for a rose scent, I usually prefer one of those two.
But if you love DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom and you love rose scents, then this scent is the ideal crossover between those two!
This is my freshest rose scent. I also tried Coolwater Sea Rose by Davidoff, but that scent was way too weak, so I bought Rose The One instead.

I LOVE this perfume. For me this smells just really, REALLY sexy. It’s just perfect when you’re in that mood.
It smells of rose and peonies, and it’s perfect. I love it
However, I was so sad to know it would be discontinued…I went to the closest store to see if there was any testers for sale, and there was one that I got.

Lovely perfume a delicate, sweet and romatic, it was for years my signature perfume and my number 1. Until I came accross La Vie est Belle and I couldn’t go back anymore. I love the rose in it, the black currant, the lychee. It dries down on me better than The One. So the choice was very easy. I want a new bottle again to be reunited! It lasts all day… can be worn on all occasions…

  35. :

Bought this on a blind-buy because I like the bottle. Despite having this in my collection for almost a year now, I never use it as most florals tend to be so cloying on me especially on the drydown. And with “Rose the One” — I was wrong! It’s likable and safe for any occasion, non-offensive, fit for any age in my opinion. Quite linear, without any hint of spice. To my nose, lily, litchi & grapefruit are more prominent than the rose which tends to be more detectable only on the drydown.
Very feminine, clean, invigorating and smells expensive. A couple of spritz lasted for 5-6 hours on my skin,, a couple of days on fabric. Suitable for hot weather here in our little tropic country. If you like Versace Bright Crystal, Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, you will love this.

I’m a twenty year old guy who wears both men and women’s fragrances and THIS IS MY SIGNATURE SCENT. This is perhaps the perfume I value the most and apply VERY RARELY. It’s rosy and gives me an optimistic feeling each time I wear this. Lasts me a good 12 hours… It seems like rose fragrances (ROSE is the king of flowers and so I’d settle for nothing less) really last a long time on me. This is best for those cloudy afternoons. I wear this to church, too.

If you ever imagine a confident woman walking down the stairs elegantly with a floor length rose gold dress with humble personality, smile on her face and she winks at you. Come closer to you, whisper something to your ear softly. This fragrance describe that kind of woman. I smell a balanced of rose and citrus in the opening with noticeable vanilla and some white floral. This is a very beautiful fragrance by Dolce & Gabbana. Moderate silage and longevity. I wish it could last more than 8 hours on my skin but 6 hours plus seems pretty good in my humid country. Definitely would repurchase.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE THIS ROSE! I sell fragrances on Ebay and have a LOT of samples, so I tried this, I have been through about 7 other *rose* fragrances with just yuck and this is a lovely rose, fresh, smell wonderful. Just got my full size and definatly in my top 20 of my 180 + bottles. I can’t stop smelling myself! Recommend to anyone looking for a NICE Rose fragrance. Not old lady smelly! I also LOVE Thierry Mugler ANGEL LA ROSE, but that is a Patch fragrance, so I use DG for daytime use and the Angel for evening or when I want a richer scent.

This is a lovely fresh feminine rose scent when sniffed from the nozzle and on paper. BUT rose does not like my skin and this is no exception. I find rose works best for me when she’s not the star and is tamed with some heavy spice and earthy notes. This lady is supported by other “tart” notes, gentle spices and soft wood and all I get is tart a la baby pee. I gave my bottle away to a girlfriend and it is enviably gorgeous on her.

For rose scent haters, this might change ur mind. The rose is very subtle. It goes very well with the sweet citrus. A delicate adult scent..

This is a lovely toned down tea rose scent on my skin–I am not smelling anything other than the rose as of yet, but the drydown may reveal other facets. Very well-balanced essences of tea rose, soft powder that doesn’t suffocate and an accessible formality that lends itself nicely to t-shirt and jeans or an evening gown. Am seriously considering buying a full bottle of this when my sample is gone, which I predict will be soon.

  47. :

This scent is very feminine and serene. It is not as pungent as some rosy scents. Most people would think of it as a Spring/Summer scent but I like it best in winter. That may be because I first tried in out in January. This probably sounds weird but it makes me think of a very calm and quiet place gazing out the window at fields of snow twinkling under the sunset.

This scent is very floral, and a little citrus. The musk and woods come in much later. It’s lovely and very feminine, but there isn’t much depth to it.
I only use it when I’m home all day, or if I have quick errands to run.

🙂 🙂 D&G Rose the One is a fresh, airy, elegant, feminine rose scent, although that was not my first impression of it.
When I first tried it after making a blind buy, I was unpleasantly surprised. I sprayed it once on the back of my hand. The scent I got was soooo strong and harsh that my eyes teared up. I was so bummed since I had been expecting a yummy, sweet fruity rose like most other perfumes with a litchi note. Then I went out. As I was driving, I noticed something smelling really good. I sniffed around and realized it was the perfume I just sprayed. I wore the perfume a couple times after that, and finally realize what this perfume is about.
I think this perfume has a very concentrated formula, but the scent itself is very light and airy. I figure it was made so concentrated so that it keeps releasing its awesomeness throughout the day, hence it’s a good quality perfume with good longevity and sillage. It easily lasts for 6 hours on my skin.
The scent is very well-blended. There’s rose in it, but it’s not straight-up rose like the Paul Smith Rose. It smells like if you blend up an entire rose plant with its petals and vine, with a few lilies, some lemon peels, and a litchi. It’s very balanced. It’s a soft green floral with a hint of sweetness. Extremely pleasurable and elegant. This one, Paul Smith Rose and Roses De Chloe are my favorite rose trio. They each represents a different theme. I really love this perfume. It’s a 10/10 on my scale. 🙂 🙂

Hi, I have also seen this in the color you described. I suppose it’s a slightly different version of the original, a flanker. I don’t think it’s fake.

Absolutely gorgeous ! My favourite at the moment.
I apply this (and any other perfume) over my clothes and behind my ears. It lasts all day and few days on my clothes if I don’t wash them.
I think its natural for perfumes to not last long on the naked skin.. after all sweat tend to wash the substances away.

I had it in the past, and didn’t keep it, I am so happy to have it back, it is a fresh rose scent, I hesitate to say rose. It isn’t your typical rose, it is an amberish crispy and smooth scent, it has some punch too..on some days it can be a bit screechy, but overall, this smells lovely, and very unique…I agree there is a plasticky/metallic edge , but the scent isn’t boring, it is feminine, refined, just intriguing enough..I like it better than the original The One which has loads of vanilla..
It isn’t a love, but it is definitely a like!!

  62. :

I absolutely LOVE this scent! It is definitely in my top 3 and I use it as an everyday scent aswell as an evening scent – sprayed rather lightly in daytime, cause it doesnt take much to be overwhelming.
This is one of the few scents that I have been complimented for. One of my collegues had to ask what I was wearing and shortly afterwards she had bought it herself. Another colleque thought I smelled wonderful too.
The smell itself is a bit heavy, but it feels like the citrus and rose is lifting it up to become more fresh in a very romantic way. When I smell this scent, I see memories in a soft pink light, just like the advertisement… Actually, the colour of the juice suits the scent perfectly.
The longevity is GREAT, like … On me it easily lasts 24 hours and stays on clothes even longer. Sillage is great aswell which is why one might be careful with overspraying.

    Adoro questo profumo.
Si sente la rosa per tutta la sua durata, con una punta leggerissima di acidulo data dal pompelmo.
Le note speziate si sentono poco, ma scaldano la fragranza.

I didn’t want to love this one, but I did. I applied my sample of this in the late evening, and got into bed. Not long after, my boyfriend came in to kiss me goodnight before a night of work. “Mmm…something smells good” he said, “what is it?” I gave him my wrist and he said it reminded him of something. Who knows what. But eliciting that sort of reaction from him is like a 1/10. For me it’s a beautiful, elegant rose. I will definitely be buying a full bottle.

Such a clean, fresh, rosy scent. No masterpiece, but lovely everyday scent for every occasion. I get most roses and litchi in this one, the only complaint is that the silage is soft and its not very long lasting…

Tried this at Ulta shortly after it came out, and it smelled nothing like Roses. All I could smell was the overpowering alcohol. Nothing more.

This perfume is very soft, and a bit creamy, a different kind of rose perfume than the hardcore Tea Rose varieties. My skin really picks up the peony and lily. It’s almost like a high-quality floral body wash that you’d get with a perfume set, if that makes sense. My skin reveals no citrus, surprisingly. To me, it does have hints of the original The One, but it is less intense and has less vanilla richness. It lasts a decent amount of time on my skin, about 8 hours, but not as long as the original. A lovely rose/floral-scented fragrance that invokes a feeling of clean and subtle sexy.

Very pretty and feminine but ended up giving it away as after a while it was just a little bit too much on me.

Pretty and feminine. A lovely daytime fragrane – I got through my bottle very quickly and wouldn’t mind another…

I think this is a nice balance if someone is into rose fragrances but is looking for a more modern approach. A little powdery and fresh, light and fluffy but still smells like roses. Nothing too crazy.

I love the fragrance of this perfume. You could wear it anywhere appropriately. However, the longevity of Rose The One is very poor in my opinion. It’s not worth the money,in my opinion, as, in order to smell it, I have to reapply large quantities throughout the day.

I’m not keen on roses fragrances, but this one is soo lovely! It’s similar to the original edition but the rose adds a feminine touch to a feminine fragrance. The first time I smell it was on 2009 while I was shopping in Harrod’s with one of my best friend and she completely fell in love with RTO. Wherever promoter girls made us test it and my friend went mad about it! A few years later I gave this fragrance to my mum for Christmas. So what can I say? I’ve never wear RTO, but I love it…mostly because it reminds me a friend of mine and my lovely mum!

This is a clean, pleasant “true rose” scent without the pepper that some real roses have, and lacking the sweetness and depth. It’s light, gently, and I hate to say this–it’s office friendly and inoffensive. The longevity is nil and the sillage extra-nil. I smell the rose, the lily-of-the-valley especially and some of the citrus, little to none of the warmer qualities of wood and musk. This not my favorite rose scent, not because it’s bad, just because it’s really more money for very little in return. This may be a good safe gift for a floral (rose) lover. I think it’s pleasant for spring/summer, weddings, day-time events. I’ll use my bottle up, probably an oz. at a time (the longevity/sillage issue)–and won’t return to this. I like more powerhouse roses–and florals/scents in general. This is a bit too meek, too quiet and subdued for me. 6/10

This is nice. I am nt big on strong rose scents but this one is perfect (for me). It’s soft and clean… I do not get vanilla though, however 🙁
    I love vanilla.
The ONLY rose scent perfume I own actually 🙂

Even though this does not have the strong vanilla note from the original, it still has
a strong resemblance to the original. But, the rose note is pretty potent in a good way.

The One Rose is the definition of a cute, pretty, feminine scent. It’s light, airy, rosie, fresh, and very uplifting to wear. I wear perfumes based on mood, not time of year and I’d wear this one any time, day or night, winter or summer. It’s one of those fragrances that is a real pleasure, but most people would say this is a daytime scent. This one and Paul Smith’s Rose fragrances are my two favourite rose scents. However, this one is much more gentle than Paul Smith’s Rose. The only downside to The One Rose is the longevity – which is pretty poor, but I find, if you spritz it on your clothes, you do get a lot more mileage out of it.

    Wonderfully pleasant and chic.
The first time I tried, I loved the scent but it lasted only about 2 hours on me. So I decided against buying it. But I gave it another go (because the scent was so pleasant!), and this time it lasted well over 10 hours. To be sure I tried it a third time, and this time again it lasted over 8 hours.
At first, I smell the grapefruit, blackcurrent and little bit of the lily. After 20-30 minutes, I smell soft rose and litchi. Perhaps a hint of peony, but I can never pinpoint that one. The dry down is musk, ambrette and a touch of lily.
