This was my first Molinard in my quest for a better rose than Jo Malone Red Roses. I don’t know why I’m looking, but I’m sampling every different rose I can find.
It’s OK. Not a big in your face rose like Jo’s and a bit fresher than Perfumer’s Work Shop Tea Rose. Longevity is fair on me, but sillage is weak.
The dry down keeps the fresh rose going which is a plus.I like it but I wouldn’t get a full bottle unless all my other rose options were gone. Nice for everyday wear. Not a night time stunner by any means.

Stunningly realistic rose. I’ve got a crush on my wrist where I sprayed it.. Going on four hours, getting more skin scent, but still very bottle worthy to my nose. As a lover of heirloom garden roses this one albeit a soliflore, makes me want to pour a glass of champagne, don a striking chapeau and marvel in the fragrance surrounding me. Cheers!
