Description
Armand Basi adds a new women’s fragrance to his minimalistic and Zen-like fragrance collection, romantically named Rose Glacee or “Frozen Rose”. This time the rose is, as the ultimate flower and the symbol of femininity, fresh, colored in pale pink and covered with frost. Its fragrance is sensual, modern and youthful.
The fresh floral fragrance composition is developed by Francoise Caron. At the opening, there are invigorating and “icy cold” notes of grapefruit, lemon and green apple. “Yves Piaget “rose in the heart is combined with an unusually sensual tones of rich cinnamon and juicy apricot. Base notes of light wood, crystal musk and amber leave a warm trail.
The bottle design is both elegant and classic and modern and avant-garde at the same time, created in a way that reflects the duality of the concept of this fragrance. The shape of the bottle and its colors are delicate and classic, while the geometrically shaped stopper in the form of a rose bud provides a dose of modernity to the whole design.
Rose Glacee is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette with an accompanying body care collection. Rose Glacee was launched in 2011.

Its okay, non offensive, smells like a slightly rosy spinoff of D&G light blue,i detect rose but i don’t see it as a dominant note,i feel like it should have a more fruity related name than rose glacee coz rose is just in the background imo,it really isnt bad, just not worth buying, sillage & longevity are average, the bottle is pretty cute though

If you like a citric rosy scent, this will be a good choice. I personally do NOT like rosy scent since my skin chemistry doesn’t go well with rose. However, when it comes to a rosy scent that is NOT powdery, it seems better. This was one of those ‘better’ rosy perfume, which I think it is because of citrus notes included in the perfume trail.
It is definitely a rose perfume – I can smell rose from this, but it doesn’t show that ‘stuffy’ powdery hint which could be detected from generic rosy perfume. However, I have to warn you that the citrus in this perfume is extremely loud and that makes this perfume to be a little out of balance. If you don’t like citrusy notes, it will be a BIG MISS, so I can’t say this beauty is safe-buy or inoffensive one.
Well, I do like this perfume since it blends well with my skin. The citrus is a bit annoying sometimes, but it’s still fine with me since it doesn’t go sour. It is quite recommendable to be worn during hot summer days, especially on casual outings even though I do wear it to my office, since it is not really that strong. I found that this beauty has very little sillage, but the lasting power is quite amazing for an EDT. If you liked Moschino’s Cheap & Chic Hippy Fizz / Funny, you will definitely love this one. 🙂

It reminds everything except the rose itself:) at first it seems to be delicious, ethereal and mild. But it’s just illusion-20 minutes later it goes straight into D&G “Lightbluelike”. Seriously, it’s just another version. When the rose disappears, Light blue notes remain:)) The bottle is a pretense, but that’s all.
I can’t say I’m disappointed, but I used to have Cafe-Cafe Puro( A huge bottle 3 times cheaper than the Rose), now I have Halloween Blue Drop- and I really see no difference!

Sprayed it at the shop before the work. I was actually surprised it was called “rose” . First of all I get fresh, juicy apple and a bouquet of white flowers. It reminds me Nina of Nina Ricci. But after about 40 minutes I smell a wonderful, dewy, white rose. Feminine, elegant spring scent.
All the time I was working, I felt it. It changed: apple/ citruses – rose/ freshness of the snowy wind – a light hint of musk.
Guess what? After work I went and bought it.
After 4 days of wearing it I have discovered the changes it makes. It’s like a woman- as soon as you think you know her quite well, she shows one of her egdes you hadn’t noticed.
The perfume lets me smell fruits, flowers, rose powder, musk, freshness, a sexy vibe, innocent rose water and so on. I’m wondering what else will I get from it. It plays even more than high end brands.
By the way, the box is very beautiful, it opens like a rosebud. Very creative and nice!

This perfume makes such an impression on me that I am compelled to write my first review. I love rose scent so when I first spotted this perfume at the perfume shop, I made a bee line to try the sample. It smells so nice on the test strip, I really get the scent of an ‘icy’ rose. But when I spritz it on me, for one moment it smells divine than suddenly my mouth is filled with a horrible bitter taste, sort of like when you have to take a full course of antibiotics which leaves you with a dry and bitter mouth. It was so bad that I have to go to the nearest fruit stall to get a glass of rock melon juice to wash out the taste out of my mouth. Half an hour later, I went back to the perfume shop to give another try. Same bitter mouth syndrome. So a second trip to the fruit stall to wash my mouth. This is the first time I have such an adverse reaction to any perfume. I happened to have the test strip with me and the scent is still so nice and fresh. But unfortunately, my skin just reacted to grapefruit and turn it sour within seconds.

I love this one because it smells fresh and cool for me, I don’t love rose, but we can wear this perfume in tropical country like my country that dominant in summer. The sales in that perfume counter said that this rose made by frozen rose, so this one smells like a cold rose. But I dislike it because it’s not long lasting, just stay for 1-1.5 hours in my skin. I just searching for another perfume similar like this one

I do have a spray tester of this fragrance and, sadly, dislike wearing it. However, it IS an interesting fragrance, just not one I can wear.
The rose is very prominent but it smells as if it came through a vacuum dustbag, kidding you not – it has a very musty, basement-y cold smell to it which, weirdly enough, I do find intriguing. It is like a combination of a cathedral library filled with century old books, and a vase of freshly cut Taif roses.
Unfortunately, on my skin, this fragrance reacts in a very unflattering way…
Sillage – moderate, at about 5 inches
Longevity – very impressive 8 hours

Well, I like it when the rose – the Queen of flowers – being appraised by so many perf. brands out there, once again, meets the expectations and proves to be pretty nice and interesting in a perfume. First of all, I can feel Taif rose:)in the frame of citrus notes. Second of all, it feels like something crystal and chilly, and dusty-powdery at the same time.
I’d say, it is a great find for ones getting tired of “stuffy” oriental fragrances). It woud be excellent just for a change. The only thing that keeps me from buying it now is the price, but I m sure it’s a temporary problem for me.

Didn’t try it on the skin but on the blotter it’s soooo deliciously tender, sooooo beautifully fragile. Adorably feminine light fruity rose that’s almost jingling. Summer days delight, youthful as it seems. Not a boring rose at all. The word ‘glacee’ suits it perfectly.

A poor copy of D&G Light Blue. I like the bottle though.
