SERAFIM1 – :
RÒS is a step up from Beatrix, but they’ve pushed themselves out a bit when they call it exotic on the packaging. The citrus top notes don’t stay around long, and the rose heart notes and the spices come on nicely. I really don’t smell amber, but amber is big right now so they could well have added it and told you so you’d be more interested in buying it. It’s a good rose fragrance anyway.
I bought the smaller bottle since there are so few Caswell Massey stores even in big cities I couldn’t smell it before buying. I was concerned because Caswell Massey has produced some real stinkers over the years, but I need not have worried about this one.
