Description

Beyonce launches Rise Sheer Limited Edition in Spring 2015 as a new edition of the fragrance Rise from 2014. The concept that lies behind the creation of Rise is inspired by “female empowerment and finding the inner strength that makes women so beautiful.”

Rise Sheer is a fresher version that opens with Italian bergamot, Sicilian lemon and iced basil sorbet. Golden symphony orchid signs the heart of the fragrance, along with flowers of white peony and jasmine. Blonde woods, sheer musk and white amber end the composition.

The fragrance is available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Just bought a 100ml bottle today and absolutely adore it! It smells almost the same as the original however has a more tropical feel to it, whereas for me the original had more of a sweet candy-like scent. I definitely prefer this over the original since it lasts WAY longer. The bottle looks amazing too however in real life it’s quite cheap looking. The cap is a struggle to remove and the sprayer wiggles when I try to remove the cap which is concerning. Other than the packaging the perfume is amazing and would totally recommend it to anyone who loves light sweet perfumes!
    Packaging – 6/10
    Scent – 8/10

I live in L.A. and cannot find this! I love Rise and want to try this one. Does limited literally mean that?

Every time I spray this on me, I get hint of D&G Pour Femme. Too bad it’s not long lasting other wise it’s perfect for all day any time use.

The heavy musk notes Rise contains are hard for me to wear and it would give me headaches almost every time I wore it, so it’ll come as no surprise that I much prefer this over the original. To my nose this updated version smells almost exactly the same to the original, except that there is lemon in the opening and the musk is much lighter.
Rise Sheer applies with the fresh, clean zing of lemon, bergamot and the leafy chill of whatever iced basil sorbet is. The fragrance then quickly settles to a mild floral fragrance, and it is the freesia and jasmine that stands out on me – not the orchid. Within three hours only a faint – but lovely – wood infused sheer musk and lingering citrus mix remains.
This is a easy-to-wear fragrance that is best for ‘everyday’ use; there are no headaches, no sweetness induced nausea, and there are no ingredients to point strongly to any particular season for use so it is a versatile fragrance. The longevity lets this fragrance down slightly, so look online for lower prices.

I have Rise and it smells lovely. I don’t have Rise Sheer, but I tested in store and smells twice as better as Rise even though I love both. For a Limited Edition perfume it is quite affordable…I saw it in store for $30 whereas most limited edition celebrity perfumes are as expensive as $60+ just because it’s limited edition and half of them aren’t that good, but Rise Sheer is amazing…recommend this to anyone!

I think that Rise Sheer does smell very similar to Rise. This version has lemon in it, so it basically smells like Rise with lemon added to it. I must say that I prefer this one to Rise. I find that it’s a fresher better version of Rise. They are very similar, so don’t expect them to be completely different scents.

Rise Sheer is a very pretty soft version of Rise. This doesn’t last long on my skin maybe about 2-3 hours at max. The bottle is average and the box is nice. Not got a lot to say about this fragrance. Please try harder on any new ones to come Beyoncé. This gets a 5/10 from me. xx

Rise, & Rise Sheer are very similiar, but I prefer Rise Sheer. I really don’t thin Rise Sheer is light, so I don’t know why it was called that. I think there is more of a difference between Killer Queen, and Oh So Sheer, compared to Rise & Rise Sheer. I can really smell the white amber, jasmine, and sorbet the most. The sprayer on Rise Sheer is Gold, instead of black like Rise was. I think this perfume would be great to wear in the Spring, and Fall between mid day to early evening. Overall I give this perfume a 7/10.

I actually like Rise (the only Beyonce frag I tested I liked enough to purchase so far) but it hardly lasts after 2 1/2 hours, so you already need to be fairly comfortable re spritzing every few hours. I shudder to imagine a sheer version….I will update this when I test it, and sincerely hope it makes it past the 30 second mark.

I can’t wait for this to come out. Beyonce’s perfumes have the longest longevity out of all the EDP I’ve. Heat lasts more than 12 hours on me.

Another perfume from Beyonce…I’m guessing this will just be another perfume that has no silage and zero lasting power just like the majority of her previous scents.
