My tiny, tiny 7 mL bottle just arrived this evening. I am wearing this to bed in a fresh nightgown. The lavender is a soapy, feminine lavender instead of an aromatic one, but sadly it’s very fleeting (perhaps just the topnote). The honey is a bit much and it’s at the heart.
I was looking for a soft, feminine lavender smell for summer, but I guess I’ll keep looking. Relax by Lollia’s lovely lavender is too ephemeral, and I realise I don’t like honey fragrances unless it’s in body lotion form.

When I first smelled this in a sample size, I really loved it and wanted to buy a full size bottle. I’m glad I didn’t though, because having had a chance to sample this several times over the years, I’ve decided it’s a bit more vanilla than I like. The lavender isn’t noticeable to my nose at all. It reminds me a lot of Chopard Casmir (a bit less fruity boozy than Casmir).. the vanilla is a very dusty rich brulee type vanille.

One of the weakest scents on the skin, but I love it so much.
I would describe this as delicate, feminine, and definitely calming. I don’t know if I would say it smells like lavender or honey, but it’s a pleasant smelling perfume. It’s a calming sweet, aromatic lavender without that sharp sneezing lavender smell. Not botanical lavender. The best way I can put it is it’s not like a botanical natural smelling hair product. Aromatic vs Botanical is a big difference to me. Not a whole lot of complexity or dimension as it wears. It’s not my favorite as the years have gone on but when I first smelled it I was very intrigued by this pretty, shy scent that makes one think of blushing. I spray this one myself most frequently at home when I want to enjoy the aromatics and smell it throughout my home.
Reminds me of a little stone cottage with homemade goods in the oven, this sitting on a little white dresser.
It’s just nice for what it is. My aunt caught me obsessing over the smell in a little boutique and got it for me.
Spendy boutiques always seem to have these swanky perfumes with delicate aromatic qualities with little longevity for a hefty price. For that I won’t buy it for myself.
I would adore to have my home smell like this. If I could find a candle like this it is a smell worth coming home to, for the aromatic qualities.
Also the bottles of Lollia perfumes are so adorable and sweet. They look so pretty on the dresser.

I keep trying to make this work because I love the idea, but when I first dab it on it smells like nail polish remover. When it dries it smells nice for about half an hour, than it disappears. Disappointing.

Honey and lavender with a little touch of vanilla are the main notes I get. This is a soft, calming scent that is great to wear to bed for a good sleep. Addictive.

This isn’t an unpleasant scent, but it certainly doesn’t smell like lavender and honey. It’s strongly sweet vanilla and honey, which isn’t a bad combination. There are some floral notes trying to peak through, but they are not lavender or orchid specifically.
I wouldn’t define it as relaxing in the slightest, either!
Overall, not a bad perfume, but certainly has a misleading name and description!

This is incredibly weak on my skin. I ended up using a whole 1ml sample vial in one evening because it was so soft and fleeting. There is definitely a honey note, but also a synthetic quality that I noticed in another Lollia fragrance, Wish. I also notice the similarity to Hanae Mori, a fragrance that I don’t mind but at the same time don’t particularly care for due to how sickly sweet it is. I’m still hoping to find a Lollia fragrance I like, the bottles are so beautiful!

seems to last a bit longer after a hot bath and some grapeseed oil

Oh this one nice and interesting. I also thought it would have heavy lavender notes to it but after reading here before I got it, I knew to expect not so much lavender. I also had the expectation that it might smell like flowerbomb or Sensual Amber from BBW. It does not smell like either. I do get a mild hint of lavender and I for certain get mild amber. There is also sweet honey in this fragrance. I think it’s quite pretty and rather light. More like an EDT. Although there is a warmth to this I do think it could easily be worn in the warmer months although I think of cool evenings when I think of Relax. I do enjoy this line of fragrances they are quite nice as are the lovely bottles they come in.

I have a totally gorgeous ‘little luxe'(super tiny actually) bottle of this. I think I was expecting to smell more lavender but its a sweet honey vanilla floral to my nose – quite heady & strong (I have literally put a finger dab on each wrist). Maybe too warm for summer days but I shall test that when the time comes, for now I’m enjoying this very much – it is sweet but not annoyingly so & smells very natural to me, nothing harsh in the drydown at all, it actually reminds me of a Sonoma Scent Studio fragrance at this point, not sure which. Don’t know if I will buy a full bottle, they aren’t cheap & there are so many other fragrances in this line that I want to try now, even if just for the divine little bottles!
Update: Well – I was wearing this scent today (just a dab) & my husband asked me to get him a sweater, when I passed it to him he said, wow what is that smell? Its so sexy (I actually thought it was quite an innocent sort of a scent)! He proceeded to go on sniffing & asking what it was for a good hour or more – this man hardly EVER says anything about my perfumes so this was a real turn up! He finished up saying, & I quote ‘I don’t care how much this stuff costs I’m gonna get you a gallon of it’ – result!!!!!!!

On my skin this smells like Hanae Mori.

I agree with others that the description of Lavender and Honey doesn’t really fit the actual scent. I like the smell, but it isn’t something that I will wear on warm days. To my nose it is really more of an ambery, vanilla scent, appropriate for cooler weather. There really isn’t any aromatic quality that one would expect for a lavender scent. I tend to want to transition from citrus and aromatic scents into something a little sweeter around this time of year, so Relax is perfect for me at this season.

I love this fragrance. I gave it to a friend for her birthday, and she loves it, too.
Unfortunately, I cannot wear this scent. On the dry down, all I’m left with is vanilla and amber, and it’s strong! But I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My friend loves it, and it smells wonderful on her.

I don’t find this relaxing and it’s probably because I do not get any lavender or honey but a really sweet floral that is not lavender. This smells quite heady and narcotic. It is a lovely scent but its scent profile is neither lavender nor honey.

Very relaxing, warm and pleasant. I like to spray this on before I go to bed!

I expected to love this, but I just can’t get past the fact that Relax reminds me of Vanilla Fields, which I adored and used excessively as a teenager. I keep trying it out, looking for the lavender and honey, but all I smell is vanilla, musk, and maybe a hint of something floral. I find it very potent as well. Oh well.

I agree with the review posted by Nicesmell66. It really does smell like old books in a library! lol. But, VERY SWEET old books found in a beautiful library surrounded by exotic vanilla and lavender fields. I think this fragrance is warm, unique, sexy and romantic, plus it last the whole day. By the way… every time I wear this scent guys stop me to celebrate how nice I smell. Men love it!

Lollia Relax is a simple, calming, and peaceful scent. Fresh lavender, sweet honey, a hint of vanilla, and very subtle orchid and amber. Truly a beautiful fragrance!

I do love this scent for weekends and at bedtime. It is very honeyed and warm. But I kept thinking I had a similar scent in my collection and today I found it-Hanae Mori! I sprayed on Relax on one arm and HM on the other and noted very little difference, except that HM had more staying power. Relax could be a less expensive dupe of HM if you are looking for the scent but not the price.
P.S. I reviewed HM and found it to be synthetic, like a plastic doll’s head. But I was all set to love Relax from the opening notes since it was described as lavender and honey. Must revise my review on HM since they are identical to my nose!
Edit: I also own Calm. Relax is nothing like the herbal freshness I get with Calm. It is more closely akin to Wish, which was my introduction to Lollia fragrances.
Update: I’ve noticed that Relax is a very aroma therapeutic fragrance for me when I have a headache. It’s the scent I crave! Must be something to that name, Relax!

Big dissapoinment!! I love warm, soft scents based on honey, but where is the honey in this? Instead I found this to be quite stale, almost like the smell of old books in a library. To me, Lollia Relax smells “dusty” if that even makes any sense…
Maybe this perfume just doesn’t work with my chemistry and suits someone else perfectly. Too bad, because the bottle is the cutest ever. I guess its just another one of those perfumes that I wanted to love “based on looks” 🙂

Oddly, I do not get honey at this from all, which is particularly strange since it usually jumps out and ruins a perfume for me in any quantity. Whatever honey notes may be in here must have formed some sort of accord that appeals to me, because this is not a honey scent to me so much as a lavender/amber.

I was expecting a big blast of lavender, but in fact Lollia RELAX is primarily a honey perfume, to my nose. There is a touch of lavender and vanilla but neither is dominant. Usually lavender steals the show, and vanilla is often wielded with a heavy hand. In this case, however, the final product is a smooth, very lightly amberish composition with honey hovering always above like a golden halo. Very relaxing, indeed. This would make a great bedtime scent!

Surprisingly long lasting and a very calming, casual scent. Very nice.
