Hibiscus is such a beautiful exotic flower that is coincidentally common in North America and I grow it in my garden in Mount Pleasant South Carolina. Looks good next to orchids. Red hibiscus has a particular distinctive scent and this fragrance actually contains red hibiscus flower literally INSIDE THE BOTTLE giving it a remarkably photorealistic natural aroma. Kudos to whomever came up with that idea! This is a steal at such an unbeatable affordable under 30 buck price online on sites such as Amazon.com and eBay.
Starts off fresh with a fruitiness that is quite sweet but doesn’t last long before it turns into a vegetal aromatic green aroma remarkably realistic to hibiscus. There’s spices and musk notes but I would not call them dry down/base notes at all; rather these are thrown into the mix in a linear fashion. This is a very simple soliflore with all the right ingredients that perfectly capture the scent of red hibiscus plants.
Hibiscus fruit is used for teas and fruit drinks. This scent goes there while also smelling like a sweeter spicy version of a V8 with floral airs. This is so exotic and evocative of a Polynesian island or South Pacific island i.e. Hawaii where these flowers are also common. Takes me away every time I inhale the scent. I recommend this EDP if you like floral scents and want to spray it in your home on warm summer nights.

Though the only one I’ve yet tested by the Aloha Beauty brand, it will probably not be my last. Thoroughly impressed!
Bottle is lovely and practical, packaged to mail well. It’s complete with quality silk hibiscus flower inside the clear glass. So attractive.
The scent… OH, the scent. On first spray this is a blast of island flowers, gardenia and tiare and even a hint of monoi (coconut) oil. Every happy memory of beach living, plus a fragrant garden.
The first blast settles to a spicy flower with the other notes playing backup to their siren. This spiciness resembles carnation, without the Mother’s Day/funeral connotations and seriousness. I love spicy carnations, so to find a happy version here represented as Hibiscus is nothing short of delightful! Monoi and other flowers continue to gently linger in the background, Hibiscus taking first place.
To sum up – As long as you do not dislike the scent of carnations, I can’t imagine NOT liking Red Hibiscus. Good sillage and longevity lend a joyful aura that stays with one for hours. Be it darkest winter or gloomy spring, you will be surrounded by the beauty of the tropics. In other words, anti-depressant in a bottle!
Made and marketed in Hawaii, but also sold on Amazon.com and various Hawaiian themed sites. Currently not available outside the US, to the best of my knowledge.

Warm slightly spicy floral. On first applying it, it may seem overwhelming, but it quickly settles down into a pretty scent. It has a slight lotion-y or soapy tinge, but that’s not a bad thing here.

My second favorite from Aloha Beauty collection. They have a way to transport your mind. Can’t feel depressed when you smell like this. Best to wear in warmer weather.

LOVE this perfume! One off my all time favorite scents, and I’m hardly ever a fan of floral perfumes. Get compliments everytime I wear it, strong and lasts for a really long time! Great for wearing any time of day, all in all an amazing fragrance you can’t go wrong with.
