This smells unisex to me. It also smells like some kind of household cleaner. Didn’t like it at all, too sharp and chemically.

What a lovely scent. On my skin my nose gets a really weird deja vu. It smelled almost identical to another fume I own… but which one ??? And then it hit me!
This is going to sound weird but on my skin this perfume smells almost identical to Oxygen women by Lanvin. I kid’ you not. I am aware they only share a few notes: musk, bergamot, sandelwood. Yet on my skin I get the same delicious fresh out of the shower feeling/scent as I get with Lanvin’s Oxygen for women. Bill Blass Red is more ‘creamy’ than Oxygen. Warmer.
I get no noticeable vanilla or lavender, but this scent does calm me so maybe that is the lavender working its magic 🙂
The longevity on my skin is really good, sprayed in the morning and in the evening I could still smell it and even got a complement about smelling really good.
Like LadyRogue said, this one has the same kind of bottle like Bill Blass the Fragrance but that’s where similarities end. I own both, I prefer Red.
Clean, beautiful, soft, noticeable but not in your face.
Will repurchase.

After finding and liking Bill Blass (The Fragrance) I thought it a treat to explore Bill Blass Red. It’s in a similar bottle, but that’s where the similarities end:
Musk, patchouli, sandalwood and amber. They’re all there and noticeable in one of the best light musky-mixes (with a slight vanilla edge) that I have ever smelled! It’s warm, soft, pretty and oh-so deliciously powdery. It’s a cuddle and comfy scent. The boyfriend can’t stop nuzzling my neck when I wear this. It’s very sexy in an understated yet addictive way. Powdery and smooth. This scent gets peoples attention with a whisper rather than a gust, it’s very sensual.
Silage is: “a wonderful sexy cloud that is not smothering you but is rather peek-a-boo-sexy” — Longevity is awesome! I sprayed this on at 8PM and the next morning I could still smell it.
I can only recommend this for all those people who love scents that enhance rather than overwhelm. It’s a wonderful and sexy all-rounder for those days & nights when you want to wear something that is not offensive, yet very pretty and sexy too.
Yummy and budget friendly. I will repurchase!

Lovely and light and very synthetic in a good way! Nice for early Spring and Summer. I really enjoy it!

The notes sound nice, soft & non offensive…so I tested this & found it kinda clean & soapy but I am smelling something really sharp & slightly synthentic so I will have to pass. : (

This fragrance is soft in the way that Nude is. It’s powdery and I can smell the patchouli and musk. I would say that this perfume has the same type of effect as Glow by Jennifer Lopez in that they are both very musky in the drydown. But Red is less floral than Glow. It’s feminine, light, and warm, but with good sillage.
I like wearing it at bedtime.
