Smells like a delicious curry. Too much like one.
бутербродиковичь – :
Earthy, spicy, woody, like a lot of macerated green plant material seasoned with culinary spices, mostly cinnamon and cloves. It’s not pesto, but rather the juices left over from grinding a mild, sweet chutney in a porous wooden bowl. Rebellius is the smell of the bowl before it’s washed.
As the scent dries down and the green subsides, the aromatic woody aspect becomes more prominent, as does the cinnamon. That phase lasts a couple of hours before drying down to a light benzoin note on my skin. The benzoin sticks around for about 4-5 hours, but I have to put my nose right up to my wrist to smell it.
I like the non-sweet foody notes that make me feel like I’m working in the kitchen, but would call this more of a short-acting comfort scent than an exciting one. There is nothing rebellious about Rebellius. If you like raw, earthy, all-natural perfumes, Rebellius is worth a sniff.
