Let me start off by saying I do NOT usually like mint, and am not a fan of BBW’s Sun Ripened Raspberry. That being said, I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. I don’t really smell mint in it, and the raspberry note is just right. I am strongly reminded of Velvet Sugar. I sniffed a sample at my local BBW just for fun and fell in love with it. On me, it’s sweet and fruity without being obnoxious or heavy. I get lots of compliments on it!

I really like this one, admittedly I have been looking for a nice raspberry scent for a while. This is a soft, sweet, fresh and fruity fragrance without a huge sillage. Not every scent needs to be a screechy floral or a literal fruit punch to the face. A soft, light fragrance has a place on a swelteringly hot summer day, or night. I had this on for several hours, and although it faded, I noticed it coming back as the day wore on and I heated up, a sweet, refreshing raspberry smell with a light touch of a sticky nectarine/peach. This fragrance won’t hold up if you are sniffing it in store with a lot of others. You need to put it on without anything else busying up your nose. It is lovely, and light enough that I don’t think it would bother even the finickiest of the scent allergic/haters. There is a bit of mint in it, but I really had to look for it. You can kind of catch it right on the end of a whiff, adding some coolness. The lotion version brings out a bit more of the lemon, and almost leans a little bubble-gummy. I am so glad to have found this and look forward to using it on a scorching summer day, when even the lightest of scents can overwhelm, this one won’t! Don’t forget, even after you can’t smell a fragrance on you anymore, others still can.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent! I was a bit scared of the mint note when I read the ingredients. But I tried the body cream from a tester in store….then an hour or two later….WOW! It was a very harmonious blend of juicy Raspberry, and a slight crispness from the mint, and a sugary base from the vanilla sugar. The vanilla sugar isn’t the heavy kind, it’s like a raspberry sweet tea scent…it’s very light & fresh. It reminds me a bit of a discontinued Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels perfume that had mint in it. I can see this being a great year round fragrance with the array of notes. Do yourself a favor & grab this scent!
