I am guessing that a lot of people wanted this one back as Liz Zorn discontinued it for months. I just browsed the site and see that she added it to her “Street Collection”. I must say that this was a love at 1st sniff. I am a berry lover, when blended with more masculine notes such as in Cape Heartache so I knew I would enjoy this just looking at the notes. All 10 notes are detectable which is amazing! The resins do give it a bit of a masculine edge making it perfect for me. The floral notes are not over the top feminine like in others. For example the orchid is way more discreet than in the Madonna scent. Longevity is all day with average sillage.

I am very impressed with Soivohle line. The quality and uniqueness of the fragrances are exceptional!
Raspberries & Black Pepper smells like …. well, Black pepper and non-sweet berries. I smell Blackberries the most. Wonderful fragrance with some woody undertones, perfectly unisex. Well crafted, well balanced, a pleasure!

Opened bright fruity berries with a light peppery sass. There is a nicely balanced jasmine and orchid that meld the top and base notes beautifully. This evolved a greater depth, complexity with the very mild balsamic patchouli base. The choya loban adds a transparent component to the scent that waters down the intensity of the base notes.
The raspberry stands out most on an incredibly smooth, light yet warm elemi/vanilla/patchouli. There is no dirty earthy patchouli which can sometimes overpower all other notes, here is is very tame and only acts to highlight contrastingly sweeter notes.
I find this scent the most commercial of this line. It is a natural scent with a mainstream presence and effect. Beautiful bright light scent- would be great for spring, summer, early fall.
