I have a miniature of this tucked away and now travelling with me a 50 mill EDP flacon which I purchased for $10,00 Aus dollars, rounding up $9.99.
Anyway. I can actually smell the distinctive Elizabeth Arden signature notes that remind my vaguely of a blend between ‘5th Avenue Style’ and ‘Provocative Woman’ there is no doubt. I collect EA fragrances and ‘Radiance’ although a Britney product is manufactured by EA partners.
This is a rather pleasant Albeit nothing unique, yet affordable fragrance. Radiance and I get along nicely though.
I don’t like every Britney Spears fragrances that comes out, however this along with ‘Midnight Fantasy’ sorry no note comparison or similarity the rest I can take or leave. But that’s just me.
Ms Britney has been fortunate to pair up with EA partner, this does reflect in the longevity and stability of her fragrances,
‘Radiance’ is fairly long lived 12 hour plus on my skin and is also quite linear, again reinforcing my opinion of being somewhat reminiscent of some EA’s fragrances mentioned above,
My idiotic first husband the fart bomb, the walking fart bomb machine used to say the EPA should hire me and place me in Bourke street to report back how many people farted that day in Melbourne. meaning I do have a sensitive nose.. I seriously do. Yet like most fragrance lovers it does not always dawn on me what smells like what until a memory is evoked.
I can’t wait to one day be reunited with my fragrance collection and have a purpose built display storage cabinet made to house them ibn my very own abode.
This bottle is less crudely coloured than the flanker ‘Cosmic Radiance’ of which I own a 30 mill EDP, this version is my preference though.
Another value for money purchase, with the sillage being admirable with 12 hour plus staying power on my skin. I’m in the tropics too, so that’s saying something. Again with the celebrity promotion and myself not really being into Britney’s public persona, I have to admit that her fragrance line are fine products and I have a respect for them, not liking all of them, However I do respect them.
Her fragrances are not expensive and seem accessible and there appears to be something in her varied fragrances that appeals to everyone or someone.

Strong, floral,pretty & sensual are the words to describe this perfume. When you first spray it you get red berries,tuberose & hint of jasmine and when it dries iris & musk come out.Longevity pretty much the whole day if not more.Sillage is very strong too you don’t have to wear much for someone to smell it across the room.

This perfume is great for someone who enjoy’s floral/sweet & strong scent. If your only into sweet scent give this one a try it’s sweet but gives you something different. I wasn’t into florals before I tried this one and because of this one I wanted to check out more floral perfume.Great for someone starting out wear perfume. One of my favorite bottles out of all Britney’s perfumes, it’s so cute! But besides that…what a lovely scent this one is. My all time favorite tuberose. Tuberose can be cloying when it’s a prominent note but this one is fresh and tart thanks to the red berries. This is an easy scent to wear, inoffensive and surprisingly long lasting with good sillage. I’m always impressed with the quality of Britney fragrances.

I noticed a sort of love/hate thing going on in reviews for Radiance. Especially when fans are used to the Fantasy line. To me, it just boils down to -do you like white flowers like tuberose? Yes or no?
For me it is a yes, but… There has to be a balance between the tuberose and something fruity or zingy, and Radiance has found that balance! It is lovely creamy tuberose and jasmine with the uplifting fresh and tart berries that gives it a balance so it doesn’t come off as too much. At least for me!
Another perfume this reminds me of is Paris Hilton Tease. Both considered more mature for their use of a strong white floral element, both have a creamy, sophisticated yet fresh vibe. But I like this one a little better. Maybe it’s the red berry element. This smells delicious and I think is a fun, fresh, flowery, playful tuberose perfume.
And… as a review below mine states-this fulfills my quest to find something similar to the sadly discontinued BBW Velvet Tuberose:)

I have no idea what the tuberose smells like, but I get a lot of jasmines here, mixed with green apple notes. And very soft, but intensive musk in the base. It’s a very young and feminine scent.It is all about nineties: pop glam, glitter, Hollywood and cosmopolitan-magazine (my personal associations).
I would not recommend using this scent in summer, it is too musky. I guess it can give a headache to your colleagues if you wear it in a small office during warm months.
I tried it first in summer and found it too intensive, now it is November and I wear it with pleasure.

I feel that this fragrance is COMPLETELY underrated. I picked up a half ounce of this perfume for only 5$ and I’m sure if it were packaged into some niche or high end designer, people would clamor for it and pay at least a 100$ more.
I don’t know of too many celebrity fragrances that really highlight and showcase tuberose in such a manner, this fragrance really is just a shimmering beauty.
Right off the bat, the tuberose says hello with no screechiness or cloying sweetness. In a few moments the berry aspects of this fragrance really come into play and make it so refreshing and vibrant. When you get to the drydown (trust me, it’s the best) you will find it to be a completely different scent. The amber and iris mingle together to make a creamy and powdery finish. I would highly recommend this scent as it’s one of Britney’s finest and very affordable. I would say that this perfume is suitable for any person of any age. It’s just wonderful.

I prefer rich vanilla foody scents This starts out as a fresh, fruity scent mixed with florals. It pretty much stays that way for the entire duration. Yay! The tuberose in this is similar to the tuberose in my long lost and forgotten BBW Velvet Tuberose. That note is what makes this perfume interesting because otherwise it just smells like the red berries from Viva la juicy, which by itself is super generic to me. Cute bottle to!

This fragrance was my first love! I was in my early teens and my mum bought me the miniature gift set as a present. I liked the others but I LOVED radiance it was my signature perfume for many years but as I aged I started lusting for more mature high end perfumes so radiance was put on the shelf.I still wear Radiance as its such a lovely smell but not my signature anymore so ill sprat myself for a day at home or mybsheets for a fresh feeling. I’ll always have a bottle in my collection definitely.
It is fresh and feminine and in my opinion it isn’t necessarily only a teens scent women of all ages would enjoy radiance.
Radiance is a summer/spring scent for a day at the park or lunch by the sea. It isn’t a harsh smell so one for the office/work place.
The fragrance doesn’t have the same staying power as more pricey perfumes do so multiple sprays during the day will keep the scent going.
Over all I love this perfume! & I’ll always be a fan of britney spears perfume regardless how old I am. 8/10

As someone who usually stays far away from white florals, I surprisingly really like this. The best part about Radiance imo is the perfect blend between the berry and white florals; an expert push and pull between the two main notes that is at once tart and at once sweet. The drydown is so deliciously creamy and reminds me of rich white chocolate. I originally thought white chocolate was a note in this! As a citrus lover, Radiance is not a scent I would normally reach for but I’m glad I got it as a birthday gift.

I’ve bought both Radiance and Cosmic Radiance without even trying because I was confident I would like them (as I’ve seen the notes here in fragrantica) and they were really inexpensive… But before leaving the store, I decided to spray the tester of them just to confirm. Both were EXTREMELLY nauseating and Radiance gave me a bad headache. Really strong.
BUT, when I got home, I opened them and then I sprayed one in each arm. THEY ARE DELICIOUS. I think that the testers were spoiled or something.. Because smell completely different from the ones I have. The testers were really artificial and sour, it reminded me of medicine. Radiance is really fresh, fresh flowers and fresh berries. At first it smells like a candy or bubblegum because of the berries. It is really innocent and perfect for daily wear or a walk in the park during summer or spring.
Cosmic Radiance doesn’t have the sweetness of the red berries but it’s a fresh sweetness coming from the pear and lichie. So delicious. It has the same floral aspect of Radiance but you can feel the vanilla during the drydown.
Both have really good sillage in the first 30 minutes and then the smell stay close to the skin. Not very good longevity. Radiance disappears completely in 2-3 hours. Cosmic radiance flowers and fruits disappears in 2-3 hours as well but the vanilla lingers on my skin a couple of hours long. I have to reaply them quite a lot during the day but I don’t mind. They are really delicious and everybody compliments me specially when I’m wearing Cosmic Radiance.

First I was like ugh, too sharp, too fresh, too flowery. Well, all I hate in a perfume 😀 Then I tried it in a 25+ Celsius weather, and it’s not bad at all. The flowers are nicely blended with the cranberries, and I don’t feel that razor sharpness and the ice cutting freshness anymore. I don’t know why, but I think that’s how a young supermodel smells on her average day. A 16-17 years old girl with full of hopes and dreams and energy. I remember launching this fragrance and it doing so poorly in our store. It was not well recieved by people. They gave me a deluxe sample vial, 15ml that I ended up forgetting in my car. About a month later, I forgot to put my usual fragrance on and resorted to using this. I’m a guy and I was sure to be butchered if someone noticed, but I couldn’t go without wearing SOMETHING! Felt like I left the house naked. To my surprise, the amount of compliments I got that night dumbfounded me. I’m thinking of getting a bottle of this again.

It’s such a beautiful smell – all day long, whilst it goes through various changes: from berries, to flowers to wood and musk and amber, and back again.. Wonderful. It does have a very lovely soap-smell at various times, but no smell stays static for more than 10 minutes. Oh it’s really such a gorgeous perfume. Plus the sillage and longevity are really good – a few feet, and all day respectively.

Radiance smells more mature than Britney Spears other fragrances but still very young, nothing old lady about this…it is like a floral perfume for the younger crowd. When i first bought it…i sprayed too much on because i was so excited about the way it smells, so i used too much and lost interest but then i sprayed a little less on and love it. Less is more with this one. Which is great cause it means it will last a long time. Smells soapy, fresh and clean. it will make you feel Bright and Radiant especially after a shower, or you could wear it brighten up a little. I love this.

Red berries, the end! Literally! This perfume has no dimension whatsoever. No floral notes produced on my skin and it just smelt like bubblegum straight up (OH, besides the initial citrus that radiated for a few minutes after putting it on).
Disappointed in this smell myself, as the notes sound amazing but don’t deliver. However, so many friends of mine go crazy for it so I guess it works for others.

I got this today in a deal at a department store I frequent during lunch, needless to say I did not need another perfume but hey ho! This one is really fruity and strong right off the bat but they dry down is more subtle and fresh, weird as this sounds this reminds me of a cake or biscuit (or some type of food!) from childhood and I CANNOT put my finger on what one it is….hate it when that happens lol!

I think that I have had a change in heart with this perfume. In my last review for Radiance I said that it was overpowering, strong and sickly sweet. I bought this perfume over the weekend since it was on Christmas sale for $9 for 30ml, which I always seem to be persuaded easily to buy cheap perfumes. Anyway, After smelling this a second time, I found the scent to be quite a breeze. It is a soft fruity/floral that smells like an air freshener. The scent is very soft however lasts all day. If you would like a tip, mix this scent with Katy Perry’s Meow perfume…it’s amazing! Even when I layered another scent with radiance, radiance seemed to last much longer than Meow, in fact it was still there long after meow had disappeared.
This is also a berry kind of smell, which makes sense because the main note of this fragrance is red berries. I can smell a small amout of floral notes which I would say makes the scent more softer. The bottle is gorgeous! It’s strange because it reminds me of a remixed chanel bottle. The jewels are patterned amazingly well on the bottle too. This scent has inspired me to try Britney’s “Cosmic Radiance”.
I rate this 7/10, amazing bottle…not as generic and tacky as Fantasy and Curious. The scent is probably her most softest scent she has ever made.

This one changes pretty fast on me. That isn’t bad because only looking for a quick refresh spray not a day long sweety. The initial burst is SWEET .. red berries. Then the tuberose starts to make its presence. Within five minutes? .. tuberose already begins to fade into a weak musk but then returns to stay a light floral. Always thought the bottle was lovely. All said, this becomes a light floral which is what I wanted.
To be fair, this is a current beloved scent trend. I prefer fragrances from decades past that are considered too strong these days. I like an Elizabeth Taylor for the creamy florals and strong musks. Britney Spears is from Elizabeth Arden as are ETaylor’s. Quality. The fact that I even buy a Spears bottle is an indication of its worth.

I just did a review of Cosmic radiance and explained that I think this is “softer”. Doesn’t smell like white flowers as much as Cosmic Radiance does. I feel the cashmere woods more than the musk. Can’t associate any note with red berries.
Don’t love it or consider this as one of her best, yet I’d rather wear this than Cosmic radiance – if I had to choose.
Edit: I’ve begun to like this more than the first time I smelled it. After doing a review on Burberry Brit Sheer and Versace Yellow Diamond, I have to say this one from Britney Spears is just as good as they are and in my opinion the best out of them.

I cannot believe that I just willfully clicked the “love” option on this one. I’ve never given it a second look until the other day, when my husband gave me a 1oz bottle he’d scored at TJ Maxx for $3.
Immediately upon spritzing, I pooh-poohed this as being “too generically celeb” smelling, and then went about my business, feeling at ease with the thought of scrubbing it off in my imminent shower. But thennn…
During the aforementioned “business”, I kept catching whiffs of a light, fruity but grown-up and somewhat serious tuberose. This was a delightful surprise!
As it wore on, for the next couple of hours, I smelled its approachable fruity-floral spirit, but also facets of (of all things) Poison and Ciara…? That’s right… something about the blend of all those white flowers with amber and red berries reminds me, just a bit, of two of my all-time favorites… one an 80’s powerhouse masterpiece, and the other a beloved drugstore gem. Huh?
I couldn’t wait to wear it to work today. I applied it at 6:30 this morning, was downright harassed with compliments all day long, and can still smell its loveliness now, at 7:29pm.
Sillage, composition, development, longevity are all wonderful. I’m gonna buy all of it.

First of all, I’m totally in love with the bottle. It’s very unique and beautiful. Light blue&pink is my most favourite color combination.
The scent is really pleasant. It’s like sweet red berries water splashing all over white flower petals. Even though I’m a sweet gourmand lover but this perfume is sweet enough for my taste. I feel so girly and young when I’m wearing it.
The sillage and longevity are moderate. It lasts about 6 hours on me.

I Love ♥ This fregrence, to me and others I know, It smells very similar to Victoria’s Secret Noir Tease. It’s very long lasting, even in the shower it stays on my skin and you can smell the soft musk from the dry down, even after you get out of the shower. So the longevity and power of this perfume on my skin is very long lasting. I would definitely recommend this perfume. Not over powering, but definitely a statement perfume in my eyes. I’m on my second bottle. ♥

I loved the box and the bottle is very nice, and smell…I am very pleasantly surprised, I love fresh flowery smells, I never had anything from Britney or any other Celebrity’s brands, most of them way too sweet, or bitter. It’s rarely at all I come across something to my taste. This one I definitely like and will use this summer. However I looked up the price for it, if I want again, I think it is too much, it is still not a top brand parfum and 50 eur for 100 ml a bit steep.

Nice and soft fragrance, not overwhelming at all, and this is what I like about it. The floral, sweet and a bit of fruity notes are nicely blended. For day and night wearing. It just fits me very well 🙂 🙂

Okay it finally came in today & you know what?…I LOVE it! I like it better than Fantasy that’s for sure. I loved the box but when I opened it I loved the bottle even more. It was bigger than I thought it would be. When you first spray it it smells like sweet & fresh grapes & then it starts to become a lightly floral raspberry smell. The dry down is a musky floral. I do wish it lasted alittle bit longer though. This is now my favorite Britney perfume & it’s the only celebrity fragrance I’m probably gonna keep buying! Britney really knows how to please her fans:)

I’ve only smelled this perfume from an empty bottle of my moms. The scent was still on the sprayer from like 2 years ago lol. I ordered this perfume off the internet 5 days ago & it’s supposed to come tomorrow! I hope I really like it because I ordered the 3.4 oz but we will just have to wait & see how I Iike it when I really try it! I’m not worried though, I trust Britney:)

This perfume is amazing. It smells so light and floral, but can be worn in the winter. The scent is just so cool and fresh. I wear it constantly in the winter months. It’s one of my favorites by Britney Spears, and overall. I really don’t consider myself a huge fan of Britney Spears, but her fragrances, especially Radiance, are incredible. It lasts really well and I get compliments all the time when I wear it. I wore Fantasy a lot when I was in high school, and now in my twenties I wear Radiance (and I still have a bottle of Fantasy for when I’m feeling nostalgic).

I agree with the below comments. The bottle is beautiful but what is inside is nothing special. The single top note of red berries kinda gives it a synthetic smell. Although once it dries down the floral middle is really pretty smelling. I wore this a lot when I first got it as I couldn’t make my mind up if I liked it or not. Well I discovered I like it but not any more than my other fragrances. As I said really cute elegant bottle. Nice metallic box and a not too bad scent. Britney you gotta release another Radiance (AND CURIOUS). This gets a 7.5/10 from me x

This is a REAL fruity/floral, you can smell the juicy opening with the berries and you can smell the beautiful floral heart with the tuberose and the jasmine.
Not over sweet, not sticky. Truly pretty, fresh, beautiful… and radiant.

Bought a small bottle of this at Wal-Mart for less than ten bucks and at first I liked it, but the dry down turned too astringent on my skin, like something went ‘off.’ Too bad because the initial notes were actually nice…

i remember back in early 2010(lol) when i got a sample of it in a magazine and i sprayed it and i was like phuu alcohol all over, but then a lovely sweet smell filled the room and i was sooooo in loooove.
ive bought it many times since then, but i dont know about this fragrance anymore its something about the drydown that smells unpleasant.almost sour.
but i remember that first time i sprayed it:D

The bottle is lovely, but the scent in very powdery and soapy in same time.
Pretty sharp, I can mainly smell tuberose, iris and musk mixed with much alcohol.
Very simmilar to Avon Skin So Soft line, especially to the liquid powder!! Not very bad, but is not good either.

I know a lot of people love all the Fantasy scents, but for me this is Britney’s best. It’s quite underrated in my opinion. A lovely, fresh raspberry. Delicious.
