I don;t know what have hapen to me in last two weeks but I crave a roses in my perfumes. I never liked it. This one is so elegant, powdery, quiet and charming.
I woudn’t be surprised to be wearable by strong, sexy dyplomatic woman. In the second view reminds romantic lond dress and walking somewhere in pretty gardens…in the Grasse, France. If I woudn;t know it;s from Europe … I would say with closed eyes I feel… suburb of Paris… maybe… gardens of…Marie Antionette…

Beautiful, elegant, real rose, and very floral, feminine perfume. I think it’s really gorgeous! Soft, powdery after a while, and gentle. Very beautiful.

I get no rose up front in this. It is not a jammy rose like Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose, Lush or Tauer. This is a dry white floral that is very pretty and a little sharp on the dry down with a huge burst of fruit in the opening.

This is a delicious rose perfume from the same makers as the floral bouquet that is Quelques Fleurs. Whereas Quelques Fleurs had many different flowers this one has all the different hybrids of roses: red, pink, white, yellow, etc. They smell very much like realistic roses but they quickly turn powdery and sweet because they are layered with fruit notes namely citrus pears peaches and plums. The fruit notes do not take over the roses however and the scent stays very rosy. It smells more like perfumy roses and not something green and graphic. It’s very elegant and feminine and very much a typical Houbigant fragrance. I can also equate the scent to household products like indoor flowers or rose scented hand soap or shampoo, but sometimes one wants to smell like that. A great after shower fragrance to start your day in spring and summer.

I found this beauty after falling head over heels for Quelques Fleurs in the vintage EDP formulation. If you are familiar with QF, and a fan of roses, you will love this.
Just like Quelques Fleurs, which smells like a bouquet of wildflowers, this also smells like wildflowers and white roses.
I have white roses planted all around my house and I love how at night, they are more potent, which is why I love to sleep with the windows open.
The first time I wore this perfume, I sampled it just before bed and as I was drifting off, I just couldn’t believe how gorgeous my roses smelled!! I thought to myself that I don’t remember them ever being so fragrant, and then I realized that it was this perfume and not the roses outside. That’s how beautiful this is!
