Description

American reality television star Kim Kardashian launches her new, sixth perfume named Pure Honey in September 2013. Judging by the design of the bottle, the fragrance is in the same line as True Reflection from 2012.

Kim says that for her this perfume represents pure femininity and that it is warm and inviting. Perfumer Claude Dir developed this composition of notes of roses and wild honeycomb.

The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml EDP.

@Soofiya , Thank You Dear! Your 3 honey perfume comparison review made for a great read. If you start writing these regularly I will definitely read them, you are one of my most trusted reviewers on here, so I’m usually on the lookout for your opinions. Now off to try KK Pure Honey 🙂

I can’t begin to express how much I LOVE KKW’s Pure Honey. It’s for those who want an ultra feminine experience; I can smell every bit of the rose and honey notes. For me the only negative is the odd shaped 3.4 oz bottle. My hands are small so I have to use both in order to spritz. Definitely worth every penny though and I’ll be buying it as long as it’s sold.

I decided to compare three honey named perfumes I have:Kim Kardashian Honey,Marc Jacobs Honey and Mariah Carey Honey
These three have totally different scents.the only one that I can call a really honey perfume is KK’s.it’s much sweeter than the other two,has a strong beeswax and honey note and a hint of honeysuckle, orange flower and rose beneath creamy honey.it also is the strongest out of the three and lasts and projects much more than it’s namesakes
Marc Jacobs Honey is more about honeysuckle.I can detect mostly honeysuckle and a fruity-citrusy freshness and just a hint of honey
Mariah Carey Honey is the most fresh one.it reminds me of a tart pineapple-lemon flavored hard candy when first sprayed(this is the only time I can detect a faint honey note in it)and dries down to a fruity-citrusy shampoo scent.it has the softest sillage and the weakest longevity
All three perfumes are pretty,feminine,clean6 and wearable but I like Kk and MJ offerings more than the more fruity, sourish Mariah’s Honey
If you want a real honey perfume go with Kk,if you want to have a little honey in a fresh-floral theme go for MJ and if you want slightest hint of honey in a fresh, sour, fruity, shampoo like base, them MC Honey is yours
    Edit:
Layeing Kim Kardashian Honey and Marc Jacobs Honey creates a devine honeysuckle-honey heaven.it’s amazing

These days I’m using oriflame milk&honey body wash and I love it’s scent.I thought that it’s very familiar and finally I noticed that it reminds me KK Honey which I had for a while but swapped it away 2 or 3 years ago.I decided that I need it back in my life and ordered it.
If you love honey and honeysuckle in perfumes make sure to try this one.beeswax and honey blend so well with flowers and create a creamy sweet honey scent which also has some freshness.very pleasant, delightful and feminine.it definitely is sweet but my mom who usually hates sweet perfumes asked me to buy a her a bottle of my gorgeous perfume as soon as she smelled it on me so it must have a very balanced sweetness.the other good point is that honey isn’t nasty and urine-like like some other honey dominant perfumes.drydown is a tad powdery but still very enjoyable
It’s difficult to believe that I paid less than 30$ for such a lovely perfume.it can be a member of my beloved Elie Saab le parfum Family, something like Elie Saab edt with more honeysuckle instead of orange flower.
I can’t find out why I didn’t like it much in the first place as I LOVE it now.to me it’s wearable year round, lasts +7 hours and projects well enough

This should of been called Touch of Honey not Pure Honey. This is a very unique scent—I didn’t really like it at first but now I do. It is very white floral, beeswax scented with just a touch of honey.
This reminds me of an Avon perfume from the 90’s. It actually brings me back to childhood. I don’t mind it at all! It is the most unique perfume I own. It is a nice change from all the fruity/vanilla sugar bombs that all the celebrities put out these days.
It doesn’t seem to last long though. Three hours at most. Overall this is a pleasant smelling perfume perfect for spring!

Goes from pure honey, to nectar, to honeysuckle and florals, to floral/shampoo. It’s nice, but the lack of lasting honey scent is disappointing. The top notes are quite nice. This doesn’t have much projection.

I like Kim’s original scent, but this one is a tad disappointing. It is rather simple in it’s composition, lacking any true transitions. Yes the opening is honey, or brown sugared type of sweetness that is different than what is popular. This will not hurt your teeth, per se. It is soft and wears closer to the skin. The dry down being vanilla and a tad musky. My biggest complaint is sometimes on certain fabrics I get a dirty hair smell. Off putting. I tend to wear in the fall and winter, allowing me a day off from some of my more favorite perfumes. Allowing me to enjoy them that much more.

    Well.
I was after a fragrance that smelled like honey. This is called Pure Honey, looks like honey, has a bee on the bottle…..but I do not smell honey.
Having said that, this nectar isn’t all disappointment.
It is white and pink jasmine sweet, with a strong honeysuckle accent. That’s about it. Simple. No drama, sexiness, or deliciousness.
No honey, coconut, vanilla or musk.
Silage and longevity on me are also disappointing.
But for some strange reason, I really do like this. Even if it doesn’t smell like honey.
The bottle is heavy and stylish, and the look of the liquid inside adds to the theme.
It’s easy to wear. Wear it whenever. You wont offend anyones sinuses. Yep. I like it.

As an avid perfume lover I adore this perfume. I first received it back in 2014 for my birthday and loved the scent – its more of a sweet summertime scent with a splash of honey rather than a “pure honey” the name would suggest. But for me its such a nostalgic perfume and is a scent that I adore – isn’t the most long lasting or strongly scented – but is a sweet, summer scent that could be worn on anyone. You can also get a full size bottle for bargain prices – but the bottle is a pain to use due to its shape.

This is an extremely beautiful perfume. It’s what I wanted Marc Jacobs Honey to be, but even better, more chic. The opening is a sweet honeycomb vanillic gourmand, but it morphs into a dry floral shampoo scent with wafts of fresh, natural, aromatic honey, not sticky sweet honey. Normally the phrase “shampoo scent” is a criticism from me, but in this case, it most definitely is not; this is clean, warm, and elegant. The individual floral notes don’t stick out too much to me; on fabric the rose seems to pop a bit more, whereas my skin slightly amplifies the white florals and some gentle musk. I don’t really notice any coconut. Projection is on the lighter side but I was able to jack it up with a few more sprays, and at something like $13 for 100ml, it’s no trouble to do so. Longevity is average. The bottle is very heavy, which I love. Overall, this is a top celeb scent for me, surprisingly grown-up, and I highly recommend it.

I am blown away by this gorgeous scent , It has me saying “ ooo aah” as the delicious manuka honey & beeswax hits my senses. This one goes deeper & continuously transforms into various stages of different fragrance accords. How wonderful, I can tell this scent was carefully crafted to be unique & delightful to our senses. This is an instant favorite. There is also a soft talc like baby powdery undertone that was remarkably put so well with the honeysuckle and manuka & beeswax. This wears long on me and isn’t strong at all but has that perfect volume. The bottle is gorgeous I adore the beautiful honey color, design & bumble bee accents. Really happy with Miss Pure Honey & glad that she’s now added to my collection.♡

This is a perfect fall scent.
I reckon Kim has put good work into some of her fragrances, my favourites are Gold, honey & her original. How ever the rest smell light and watery.
Why does that always happen with perfume ? The first few to come out are the good ones & the rest are just bleh…
Anyway, this is quiet good, I love eating honey, smelling like it? Even better, you do have to spray at least 6 spritz to get something out of it.
I tried this back in summer. Oops, was very cloying. It stuck to me like crazy & I couldn’t wait to get home just to wash it off.
It’s best worn in cold/breezy weather.
    Sillage: 2 hours.
    Longevity: 3-4 hours.

Had to spray it quite a few times to get a good whiff of it. To me it smells like a fruity, floral honey. Wish the honey note was more intense. Not bad!

My FAVORITE fragrance from KKW line!!! Because this is how I evaluate KK Pure Honey and how it has performed on me (I have never smelled anything like this one before):
Pure smell of fresh honey (NOT like the smell of edible honey from grocery stores) + the BEST white floral scents (light and soft freesia, sweet and gentle honey suckle, elegant and delicate rose…) + caressing, gently warm dry down on my skin for hours (with warm vanilla and a hint of freshly sweet coconut). The whole composition just developed and sustained its beauty on me! Sillage is subtle and politely modest. I closed my eyes and I imagined myself as a bee charmer on a sunny field full of golden daisies…Such a lovely fragrance! Perfect for “bright and shine” spring and summer!
The glass bottle design is DARLING with a little bee charm adorned! Golden delicious looking color of the juice!
UNBEATABLE price online ($13.31 with free shipping for a 3.4 oz 100 ml new, sealed-in-box bottle)!
I have enjoyed ALL KK perfumes that I have in my collection. DEFINITELY will stock up THIS baby and based on how much I like this one so far, I DO wish Kim more success on what she has created!

Im not getting where all the comments come from about this being a seductive perfume. Its an innocent honey floral. There is also no sillage. No one can smell this. It smells very pretty but not unique, seductive or anything fantastic. It smells like beeswax, Burts Bees lip balm or a conditioner with honey in it. Nothing special. I just dont get what all these comments are coming from that this is so amazeing. Besides the scent being just beeswax it has no longevity or sillage. Im trying one more KK perfume & if thats no good I wont be trying any more of hers.

Blind bought this because I liked the idea of pure honey and the design of the bottle. Don’t really care if it’s Kim K or not, my money going to her or to some unknown old rich men is the same to me. I really, really like the perfume. It’s distinct and absolutely lovely, will definitely repurchase. It smells like honeysuckle, I don’t get that much “pure” honey though. It’s warm and sensual. For some reason I’m imagining Nefertiti smelled like this. Someone mentioned that it smells “kind”, like a nice lady would wear it. Exactly! I agree so much! It smells very “benevolent”.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

I really like this fragrance for what it is. If you want a simple, safe, straightforward honeyed floral it’s tough to go wrong with Pure Honey.
On my skin this is mostly Honey, Freesia, chamomile, and musk. The honey doesn’t smell like the typical grocery store honey housed in the adorable plastic bear. No. This honey is more like the Trader Joe’s all natural honey that has a hunk of the waxy Honey-comb straight from the hive housed inside the jar. It’s quite nice and has a inexplicable innocence about it. This is something you might wear with a pastel floral dress on a extremely sunny, yet slightly chilly early spring day. Easter maybe. This is not a powerhouse. I don’t think I would want it to be any stronger though. If it were, it might venture into overkill territory. I do like to layer it with Honeymania body butter/lotion from The body shop. It’s a complimentary fragrance and the moisturizer seems to assist in longevity.
Pure honey is sweet but never gourmand and certainly not cloying. It’s not something I would wear everyday but it is nice and I’m glad to have it in my collection. Many people have complained about the bottle but I think it’s really quite cute and it suits the fragrance perfectly. Granted the shape makes a 3.4 oz bottle a bit difficult to hold even with my hands which are quite large for a female. That bee is adorable! This is certainly a better fragrance choice for a adult imo than say Marc Jacobs Honey. Overall it’s a solid like.

This fragrance suits its name. The honey scent is very strong and long lasting. This last at least 8 hours on my skin. But I hardly get any compliments while wearing this one. I can never use this around my boyfriend, as he will end up with headache. Just how much he hates this fragrance.

Light, sweet floral. Not what I was expecting! 🙁 I thought this was going to be a honey fragrance with some florals but it’s the other way around. My co-worker described this as “light” (she typically wears Fantasy and Alien so… yeah, this is pretty light for her). I have to agree though. This is a much more delicate fragrance than I expected. I thought it was going to be a rich, sweet fragrance hence my disappointment. It’s actually quite nice though; very pretty and fairly delicate, with a touch of sweetness. Only in the deep dry down, hours after applying, did I get any of the slight funk of honey. Tender and girlish.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

The actual fragrance blend of honeysuckle, rose, beeswax and honey is lovely, although I do find it rather linear – a slight hint of coconut as it dries down is the only change Pure Honey ever changes on my skin, and that note is very sight so I only notice it some of the time.
Unfortunately, this perfume is very soft and it wears like a body spray – after less then two hours I can’t smell anything. Add to that the awkward bottle shape, that makes spraying difficult and almost painful with the way the bottle angles dig into the palms & fingers = Pure Honey is a fragrance to pass on.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

This is lovely and unique. Hard one to describe you need to try it for yourself. Definitely not generic, in your face, or even sweet. Easy and lovely to wear all year round. I love the top notes on sunny days, light and fresh.

  26. :

I think this perfume is an amazing deal! Pretty bottle, amazing longevity, and quite unique! A bit on my wrist lasted over 6 hours!
Honeysuckle is quite the dominant note, but as it dries down it warms up a bit. Very sweet, a little goes a long way. Don’t spray too much or you may get a headache like I did.
Sadly this is not pure honey, the powdery and flower notes are more dominant. IF you want something more pure honey try Lush’s Honey or Tokyomilk Honey and the Moon.

Mom’s favorite fragrance! Sweet, mild and aromatic!

  28. :

    5 out of 5

This has a really nice honey scent, similar to L’octane’s honey note, but it is drizzled over freesia and honeysuckle.
The freesia isn’t as creamy as other freesias, but it does seem like a laundry scent. The rose that accents the floral is powdery and grandma style, but complements the other notes well.
I will need to revisit to get a solid opinion but it is definitely nice. If nothing else it makes me want to explore other honeyed florals

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Two words- lustful & silky I believe captures the essence of this fragrance. Picture an archaic or ancient seductress drenching herself in this but this is a modern version. This scent has a lot of temptation behind it. I wear to sleep because it may be too sexy for day time. It is smooth down to core very much like honey and makes a good clubwear scent. A lot of honey lotions aren’t smooth they smell like honey but have that have heavy musky smell behind it but this is smooth and like I said “silky”. In fact I became an instantaneous fan of her frags due to this. The dry down is gourmand reminds me of exotic edible flour.

I like this perfume a lot. I like honey scents and
honeysuckle. This one is very nice, lasts and is not
overbearing. I would recommend this to someone who likes honey smells.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

This truly is a honey scent- but it doesn’t have that sugar smell that most honey scents tend to have. The honey is overpowering on my skin when first sprayed, but dries down to a white floral over the hours.
It is of course lovely and warm in the cold months, but I think it transitions well into summer. It’s sweet without being candy sweet.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

I know that I already reviewed this, but: what is UP with the mountainous, impossibly huge bottle? It takes both hands to apply, for me, and I’m not an exceptionally small person (average, 5’7″-ish).
The bottle is so MASSIVE that it’s almost intimidating, like having some gargantuan glass sculpture lurking among my collection (it even holds its own next to a tremendous 6-ounce bottle, Shalimar EDC vintage, which is exponentially easier to physically handle given the shape and dimensions).
Seriously, Kim, how big are your hands?????

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Right now, I’m loving this, but I’ve been a tremendous fan of the “honey” note since The Healing Garden’s erstwhile Organic Honey line of products and Ms. Kardashian’s “Pure Honey” is absolutely stunning in this regard. The honey note is sweet, sheer and light, even floral, impressing my olfactory palate like a freshly harvested, local clover honey. Well-blended, the composition has a facet of floral-sweetness which serves to bolster the organic over-all feel of this soft and delicate feminine aroma.
This may be office safe; it stays close to the skin from the initial application for me but longevity has yet to be discerned as I’ve only been wearing KKPH for about half an hour now (and will return here regarding longevity).
For the scent it’s a strong 8.5 of 10 for me. Just gorgeous!
And, having donned Sofia Vergara’s Sofia earlier, in testing Pure Honey I’ve found that the two complement one another and layer beautifully.
At the end of the day, this one is a good, solid “like” for me; if it projected better, were more potent generally speaking, that would bump it up to an easy “love”. (shakes fists in the air at IFRA)

Oddly my taste in perfume appears to have changed, I loved this scent when I first bought it about a year ago but I tried to wear it today and I just don’t like the smell anymore. It smells the same, it hadnt turned or anything that’s why im bewildered at the fact that it’s not pleasant to my nose anymore. Maybe I can trade it in the forum.

  35. :

It actually smells like honey. Warm, slightly artificial honey flavor. Average durability. Pretty good smell for the price. I’ve been testing the sample for almost 3 years now.

  36. :

I find this perfume perfect for the summer.
Not that Honey fragrance good for winter and autumn you might expect.
As already mentioned, in spite of the name, this fragrance has more fresh than hot aspects.
Light flowers in the morning, chamomile and freesia and fresh aromatic beeswax. This is clean without being marine or cottony or lemony but passing through blossoms.
Clean warm linen, warm shower, honeysuckle* shampoo… if I imagined a perfume suitable for a virgin I would say just that.
An innocent teen smell 70’s 80s era, or no age, cant say.
*Rationally probably is the honeysuckle that links me to the 70s (was in many fragrance) and into that baby vibe (this flower is often into baby fragrances).

I use some perfume oil and lotion that is honey that I buy from a lady on Etsy. I love it.
I was on the look for a ‘honey’ perfume when I read reviews on this Pure Honey. This is a total blind buy for me, I really wasn’t sure what to expect.
WOW so beautiful, warm, sexy, HONEY. I am really loving this!

derivative sweet floral in the top that has some beeswax but isn’t overtly honeyed until the base; it gets there quickly; not a lot of evolution

Really, really, true and lovely honey scent. I am still in shock.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

I’m really surprised how much I love this fragrance. I have been wearing it for a week straight and I have about 100 fragrances in my collection right now, so that’s definitely weird for me. It starts off as a bozey honey and then softens almost instantly into a thick rich and sweet floral honey smell with a powdery pollen feel to it. At first it seemed to fade pretty quickly but after wearing it for longer i realized it was just softening into a powdery floral aroma that is reminicent of honey and sweets and sit close to the skin.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

This is not pure honey or beeswax. It is a sweetened, soapy floral with hints of plastic.
This was a blind buy. I was looking forward towards a straight-forward, deep honey with beeswax, rose, and honeysuckle as they are all my favorite things. Imagine my disappointment when I cannot find any of them. The coconut is also conspicuous by its absence. Pure Honey is a simplistic, linear, thin scent. I will continue to rely on my body cream to provide my honey/beeswax scent, and this scent might hAve cured me of blind buying.
Edit: I have found myself reaching for this one more often than I expected. If you forget what it is supposed to be, it is a pleasant, synthetic, sweetened floral scent that is easy to wear

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Being a gourmand fan, I blind bought this expecting the honey and beeswax notes to overpower the rest of them.
Its name is deceiving though. This is not “Pure Honey”. You can feel the presence of it but this a mainly floral fragrance which is something I am not a fan of.
Unfortunately for me the floral notes never loose the power throughout and it never becomes a true gourmand scent. It is just a floral with a touch of gourmand notes in the background.
Pay attention, I don’t dislike it. It is not by any means a bad smell. Quite the contrary. It is a rich and complex aroma. It is just not for me and because of that I don’t find myself using it very often and wear it mainly at home or when I am anywhere alone or to visit family (haha!)
I can get 5-6 hours out of it with moderate projection in the beginning turning into a skin scent in about an hour.
When it comes to the bottle, I find it to be really cute by the way.

Hi Soofyia, u r absolutely right with your Review, I have the same experience!! it was a blind bought for me, too. But now I experiemented with some layerings and it works for me! Just try to layer this with the Honeysucle Cologne from Yves Rocher, ist heaven! It gives it more floral touch and soft freshness and the bees wax wont be overpowering anymore. greetings xx

Honey was a blindbuy based on it’s notes and numerous positive reviews.I expected to love it as I absolutely love honeysuckle, mandarin blossom, honey, vanilla and musk in perfumes, I also like rose, orchid, freesia and coconut a lot.it contains so much of my most loved notes that I thought it’s going to be among my top favorites
my blindbuys usually face success (+80% of them) and I’m usually good with celebrity perfumes.I was terribly shocked to find out I don’t like honey by KK.I decided to try it again in spring but nothing changed.I’m still not a fan
I was looking for better pronounced flowers and stronger vanilla and coconut but I believe beeswax overpowers everything else.I don’t feel any coconut or musk.flowers are there but honeysuckle and rose are the only ones that I can sometimes see their face, they appear most of the times as a powdery floral accord.I love powdery scents but I was looking forward to being able to distinguish these beautiful flowers as for example flowers in a garden, not a mixed up floral powder mess.I think I could love it if this powder floral mess was left alone with some musk and vanilla and a soft touch of honey but they’re covered with beeswax and too much honey which never leaves the scent
I believe this perfume is aptly named.it really brings honey to my mind all through it’s life but not a real honey.it smells exactly like honey hard candies.it’s as if I’ve rubbed honey hard candy to my skin but it’s not syrupy or sticky maybe because some dust of flower powder is sitting on it
It’s a sweet scent but not super sweet.it also has some kind of softness so I don’t know why it feels this much cloying for me.after some time I feel breathless and thirsty as if I’ve eaten honey cold candies(in the powder form!) all the day
I can understand many people liking it.it’s warm, feminine, sweet but also grown up,kind of soft but also potent and easy to recognize.it also smells very original,or at least I don’t know any similar perfumes but still it’s not wearable for me but I don’t regret buying it.I bought this huge bottle which looks beautiful with it’s honey colored liquid and the cute bee on it,for a very low price that worthes for experiencing something new.I’m going to retry it once a month and finally when I gave up on it I can find a new home for it
I really wish something changes so that I can enjoy it’s dominant honeysuckle as mentioned in other reviews

When I first sprayed it on, oh dear… There was this headache inducing effect and such a strong alcoholic feel to it, I thought oh well… Fast forward years later, I had completely forgotten about this and yesterday I gave it another shot. It seems that the fragrance composition has mellowed much. It is darker in color as well, almost the same color as an amber gemstone. It is now such a lovely, thick honey scent, my current favorite.

Hi busy bee’s . I love this perfume it’s honey freesia smell. ..Light and clean. The honeycomb shaped bottle is cool. The 3d bee is cute and the golden honey colour of the juice is exquisite. My uber driver said it smelled sooooooooooo good. I got it for 12.00 on eBay. I love it. Thanks for reading

I gave this a blind-buy after asking about honey fragrances on the forum. Many recommended this as a “pure” honey scent (I guess you can’t blame them, as the name is Pure Honey), and the price was right… so I figured, why not?
However: nope. I was really hoping for something similar to my beloved, discontinued, now-a-million-dollars-on-eBay Honey Gentle Water from L’Occitane. But this… isn’t it. There is an element of natural honey realism in HGW that is conspicuously missing here.
I don’t *hate* Pure Honey but I don’t love it either. There is honey upon first spray, but it’s not a natural honey by any means. Quite sweet, more like a honey hard candy. Looking at the notes here, I’m really scratching my head. There’s no depth, and I don’t get the beeswax either, unfortunately. The honey wears off completely about an hour in and I’m left with some bland white floral and strangely aquatic notes – I wasn’t expecting that. Aquatic notes rarely work on me and this is no exception. I agree with the reviewer below that said this dries down to a shampoo-like scent. Not even a shampoo I really like, unfortunately. Nothing special at all. I can’t see myself often reaching for this.
*updating to add* I decided to give this one another chance, and sprayed it on today. I will say… this time I did detect the beeswax. But I didn’t even make it to the aquatic drydown before having to scrub it off. I kept imagining being trapped in an elevator with someone wearing this fragrance, and got sick to my stomach. Cheap and cloying. Anyway… this one’s not for me. Next!

A honey-chamomile shampoo before to go out or into bed.
Pleaseant, essential, vintage (that end 70s first 80s scent-in-the-air you know?). The honey candies of my grandmother also … more flowery and greenish-fruity, little peach apple recalls.
Yes it is soapy, a dry beeswax + rich flowers not a hot honey / amber heavy frag.
So trust me: this is not the Pure Honey you can imagine, this is a flowery fragrance with traces of fresh light honey bar soap. Yes it remember some honey body care product, but do not buy it if you think with it you will smell like a jar of very warm honey.
    Nice, smiling, clean, innocent.
A fresh lukewarm breeze on your face.
A cup of chamomile fruits tea with honey.
Still smell a bit vintage shampoo honestly: but who cares?
    We all love have shampoos!
    Make us feel better.
    Like Pure Honey does.
I love the bottle, a lot of light reflexes. And the metal bee, funny, a touch of care.

Oh! What a surprise – I absolutely love this! It’s a honeyed white floral, that dries down that dries down to a slightly spicy, fruity/hay note on my skin. It’s fairly sweet but not toothachingly so. I love the bottle.

This seems to get stronger as it dries down, and maybe my nose is a bit wonky but is there a bit of skank in this? I like it! Nothing like it in my collection. Cool beans!
So many different opines about quality , etc..I find it quite rich smelling and not excessively powdery. All in all quite a good creation. Leans more toward beeswax than actual honey.
My favored honey would be L’eau dissey Absolu!

Just blind bought this off of ebay and i was expecting a honey scent because of the reviews, but my nose detects no honey. I just get a very very POWDERY floral. It’s a powder bomb and that’s not appealing to me. I usually stay away from powdery scents because i just do not like them. But this fragrance isn’t terrible, it’s just a non-offensive soft powdery floral. It lasts a long time on my skin though, so it gets points for that. I got about 8 hours out of this which is super surprising for a celebrity scent. I’m gonna keep this but i can’t see myself reaching for this too often.

Blind bought for a clearance price at Perfumania and didn’t have any expectations. I do love gourmand/sweet/vanilla/honey scents.
This is ok. It’s better than one may expect from KK, and I do get the florals off the top, and then the beeswax comes in. I love beeswax.
This is just ok. I like it enough, but it smells cheap to me. It’s not cloying, but it’s messy. Not put together well, it all blends together of course, but I dunno…. it just smells cheap. Like less quality ingredients?
The honey and florals are quite powdery (not a huge powder fan), but it’s actually an authentic beeswax smell to my nose. I’d like more vanilla and I get zero coconut.
It’s excellent for layering, but I found that Pure Honey overpowered and outlasted the 2 scents I layered with…. haha… I used Oriental Soul Pour Femme and then Perry Ellis Black Vanilla Absolute. I think by layering this with another thick honey-type scent will be awesome. But as far as potency and sillage go… KK Pure Honey beat the others.
I like the bottle. Haha. It’s heavy, and I have no prob spraying it with one hand (100ml bottle), but maybe I have huge hands? 😉 I love the little bee, and overall- this is kinda unique to my collection. I’m not upset I blind bought it. But I’m also not in love with it.
As far as lasting power goes, I always spray my chest/clothing because I have oily skin by heritage, but very very dry skin from climate… so perfumes on my skin never ever last. This lasted well into the next day on my shirt, but the drydown is just musky and kinda messy?

THIS is what I expected Marc Jacobs Honey to smell like. Sweet, warm enough for winter, but wonderfully bright for summer.
There is a candle wax note ( maybe beeswax?) that a review mentioned several post below. It’s wonderful!!! Totally reminds me of authentic items & products made from real Honey and beeswax, and why I keep returning to purch
