Description
Top notes rejoice us with fruity notes of pear, mandarin and tasty wild strawberries. Sweet, fruity passions in the heart are exchanged by an elegant bouquet of white flowers with harmonious scents of gardenia, jasmine and white orchid resting on a warm, comfortable base of vanilla, amber and white musk. The fragrance aims at confident women who prefer white flowers surrounded with light fruity hues with a soft, sensual trail.
The new fragrance by Avon – AVON PUR BLANCA ELEGANCE is available as 50ml EDT. It is expended on the market in the new catalogue published just before International Women’s Day, March 8th. The perfume was launched exclusively for this occasion.
Pur Blanca Elegance was launched in 2013.

Hmm,strange,in my Avon brochure it’s stated that the top note is blueberries, not strawberries…

An alcoholy, weak fruity floral. Perhaps the alcohol has a slightly minty scent? A slight scent of weak jasmine or gardenia that is more noticeable on the dry down. The notes are quite hard to make out. A very slightly dirty undertone. Shame it doesn’t smell a bit more of the notes listed. I still like it though and think its a gentle fairly inoffensive smell. I think it would layer well with other scents particularly florals. It seems this scent is discontinued now but the original pur blanca is still available along with a scented deodorant

but this is quite pleasant smell of heavy perfume has been designed to fully administer the winter and spring months persistence will surely go if you love if you like sweet smell

I think it is a great perfume, but you must ahve a certain “secretary” style to pull it off.
It is very elegant…as the name says to, and also conservative! Only very mysterious and quiet, yet very elegant middle age women could wear this perfume I think.

I wanted to love this perfume. I read the notes and thought wow, this will be beautiful such an interesting complex smell will result from this fragrance.
However, I now own this and I am slightly if not a lot, disappointed. I don’t get any pear, I get a synthetic scent that maybe imitates pear, but no pear and I love pear. I get an ever so slight scent of orange; just the zest. I do get strawberry, but yet again it is the synthetic kind, like a strawberry yoghurt smell. Gardenia and musk are the prominent notes. In fact from what I’m smelling- gardenia and musk are the only notes in most, if not all of Avon’s perfumes these days. & you know those two are not offensive notes, but sadly they are very safe and forgettable and bland unless dominated by other more interesting notes. Yeah, basically what I’m saying is that its a bland smell that promises a lot of notes, yet fails to live up to expectations.
On a positive note, the name elegance does actually match the scent, it is elegant, however in the ‘play it safe’ formal kind of way.
