Description

Beyonce, in cooperation with the company Coty, presents her new fragrance Pulse in September 2011. Pulse is a citrus – floral – gourmand fragrance, dedicated to the favorite flower of the singer – orchid. This energetic composition portrays the excitement that she feels on stage.

The fragrance opens with sparkling top notes of pear blossom, frozen bergamot and accord of Blue Curacao liqueur. The heart features Bluebird orchid, for the first time used in a fragrance. There are also notes of delicate peony and intensive midnight blooming jasmine. The base is warm, sensual and irresistible, made with Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods.

The modern faceted bottle is designed to look like it’s upside down, while its blue colors evokes the fragrance inside. The nose behind this fragrance is Bruno Jovanovic.

Blind buy for me. Maybe my bottle was old but I just got a tonne of sweet, synthetic, powder flavour. I wish it were fruity and boozy and sexy. Don’t let that deter you from testing it.

I love Pulse a lot! And it’s definitely a compliment getter. I’m not very good at describing perfumes, but it is sweet, and deep, and creamy. Lasts quite a while on me also. It kind of reminds me of Angel.

An other blind buy for me. I don’t regret. Nice perfume and cheap. Citrusy and spicy. It reminds me an imitation of emporio armani that i have tried many years ago. The only problem is that i can’t decide if it is suitable for summer or winter. It has fruity notes that are appropriate for summer but from the other hand the whole constitution of the perfume makes me feel that it is better for winter.

Haven’t been a big fan of the line but do have a few. Put this one away and took it out today sort of random. It’s summer in the desert and happily wearing it now. Once any expectations were gone it has been real easy to like this today. It’s summer but a bit different from other similar choices like the Mariah Carey Honey I had on just before this one. If you already have a nice selection and just looking for a fun and affordable splurge on nothing? Yeah, go ahead. Just don’t expect too much and you’ll be cool.

First impression.. it smells like the tanning salon and sunscreen to me. A bit tropical and beachy. No sillage and poor longevity, I’ve seen body sprays last longer(at least on myself). If you’re going for an inexpensive,summer-y fragrance..I would recommend Miami Glo by Jlo.

I like how it opens: curaçao, lemon and vanilla. I could swear there was cacao too, but it’s not one of the notes. It sits very close to the skin. The bad thing is, an hour later it’s practically gone. I have to bury my nose in my arm to feel it. Sad, because it was a fun fragrance.

This was given to me as a gift. This does not last at all. An hour, maybe. This smells chemically, like bad lipstick. No thanks. I don’t smell orange anything, or booze or vanilla. This reminds me a a body mist. I will not repurchase…ever.

Summer in a bottle everytime i wear this i get compliments
The lasting power is 8 hours on me
The silage is pretty good , soft but people will notice
    Absolutely love this scent

Bergamot with blue curacao. Aquatic light citrusy.
It smells nice. It’s like a cold cocktail in the hot weather in tropics. Awesome idea! Maybe I will buy it. It’s unusual. I like that fact.

Beyoncé pulse is not worth the effort.
    Rise is better
Pulse is like mango with coconut creamy ice cream type of scent. Orange ice cream but without the real type of orange tang.
It’s gone in half an hour. I would give this a better review if it lasted.
That said if you have this and have a man or a mans fragrance knocking about, spray the mans one first, let it dry, then spray pulse. If that doesn’t solve it, give it to a teenager

The scent doesn’t last long. The opening is definitley bergamot, pear blossom, and blue curacao..Maybe it’s just me but this fades so fast, This acts like a body spray which is sad because the fragrance is playful. The bottle is a pain in the backside. I like this.. I probably won’t repurchase. I have body spray..I expected more from pulse…

I cannot figure out why this fragrance gets so many bad reviews. I was given the 1 oz as a gift but I will definitely buy the larger size soon. I own many perfumes but I always seem to return back to this one in the warm months. To me, it smells light and amazing for summer. I get a hint of a creamy orange when it is first applied but that doesn’t linger. The smell I mostly get is the blue drink mixed with some light, watery florals. It reminds me of the blue raspberry freeze pops I used to eat as a kid mixed with an aquatic floral. It is fresh and feminine like a day at the pool with a cold drink. I really love it and it lingers on me if I apply it to clean skin with a good matching lotion. I use a vanilla scented lotion and it goes perfectly with this. Love love love!

First impression please blossom into someone aquatic, genius, or melodramatic. Instead it withers away into something between captivating and Artificially synthetic….and then nothing. While more doable than Heat or Heat rush for me the most impressive part is 1st two seconds (hint of aquatic)because you’re not sure what it is going to do then it withers away and underperforms like a wilting flower into read above…

Seeing here so many bad reviews after I bought this perfume made me bit nervous. I did smelled before I bought it ( didn’t spray though) and I like it, knowing was a bit risky as I know that the scent can change on the skin. So tried properly at home and I am pleased! It’s sweet, lemony and creamy. The combo that I like! But could be a little less sweet though, only that . I don’t know yet about longevity and sillage as I only sprayed a bit on my pulses. I like it so far, especially because I bought a 100ml edp for only a fiver ( because was the very last bottle and was a tester and still, the bottle is nearly full! A real bargain 🙂
By the way, I washed my hands a couple times after I spray it and the smell still on!

Bought this for my girl for her holiday gift. While it’s a decent but very light scent, it’s way too light to be taken seriously. This smells more like a body mist than perfume. It fades considerably fast, it’s gone on her in 20-30 minutes. There are better scents from Beyoncé than Pulse. This one isn’t worth repurchasing.
    Scent:6
    Longevity:1
    Sillage:1
Unique/Industry First:1 Body mist at best
    Quality:2
Beyoncé or the scent makers didn’t put much thought, effort or execution into this one. Try Beyoncé Heat Rush or Mrs Carter. My girl had to spray 10-12 sprays on her each time she wanted to wear this, and trust me, 12 sprays was not overdoing this lightweight.

This is terrible. Synthetic, sickly orange flavor.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

This scent seems so at odds with its bottle and advertising.
All the icy steel blue and laser imagery implies that you are going to get a metallic, possibly aquatic scent, but one spray puts that to bed because it smells like … orange soda! And I men EXACTLY like orange soda. It doesn’t develop at all and just fades away to nothing within a couple of hours.

I Love this sent. Many of the Beyonce perfumes I love. I think of winter when I wear this, even thought I wear all year round. I get manly the blue Curacao the citress & musk.
It also last on me all day. Someone at a commuter lounge on my college campus told me that I smelled good in the evening when I spayed it on myself in the morning.
I got a good buy when I bought this. I got the gift set that had the 100ml, 15ml, shower cream and the body milk.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

I love this, smells like creamy orange ice cream. Unfortunately it doesn’t last very long so need to reapply, but I don’t mind, I love the burst of loveliness every time I spray it, I got the 100ml bottle too so I can spray away as much as I like. 🙂

  20. :

Orange creamsicle that turns to baby powder over the course of an hour then fades away entirely over the course of the next one. I like to wear it around bed time after a warm bath, or on hot summer days when I’m dressed down and not wearing any makeup. Fun little comforting scent, nothing fancy. It’s stored with my body sprays, not my “proper” fragrances. So yeah, keeping that in mind, and the fact you can find it every where for dirt cheap, you shouldn’t be disappointed if that’s what you’re looking for.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

This perfume was unsatisfying. If you’re looking for a cheap perfume, I’d rather go with britney’s fantasy collection.
Pulse is somewhat upsetting. The first notes resemble an air freshener and it just smells overly cheap with squeezes of citrus and wood but nothing fruity. The middle notes were better. It smelt like wood and musk with a combination of soap. The base notes were rather disappointing. In the end all I could smell was just a stinky soap smell that smella like a grandma. Overall not impressed.
Longevity was very good for me however as it lasted more than 7 hours or so but it wasn’t pleasant. It was quite irritating later on. The sillage was quite weak.

At worst it can smell like a bathroom deodorizer at Wendy’s . At best it reminds me of one of those perfumes you find at the flea market in Chicago. powdery urban perfumes which is why I like it. its one of those perfumes that are unforgettable and u want to love it and the scent is original but u end up dizzy & nauseated by the notes. I think it smells best on a man as it less orange creme sickening on my skin than a females. If I find a clearance gift set at the end of the year I would buy and wear it but wouldn’t pay full price. Plus i have too many of these sweet perfumes

That is disgusting perfume AWFUL AWFUL ! I FEEL SO PUNKD WITH THAT ONE ITS A BLIND BUY AND I THOUGHT ITS A NICE PERFUME ,BECAUSE I LIKE VANNILA BUT THAT MIX WITH CURACAO AND BERGAMOT ITS ABSOLUTELY NOT GOOD ! VANILLA AND CITRUS IT IS NOT A GOOD COMBINATION !INFACT ALL BEYONCE PERFUMES ITS YUK EXCEPT WILD ORCHID AND MIDNIGHT HEAT I DONT THINK BEYONCE EVER EVER WEAR THEM MAYBE SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW THAY SMELLS BECAUSE THEY SMELL CHEAP AND RUBBISH I CANNOT IMAGINE THAT SHE WEAR SUCH A FRAGRANCES AND SMELLS LIKE THAT ! NO NO NO

Tried it on a paper and since I was trying many other perfumes,I couldn’t test it well.on paper it’s smell reminded me lemon cake, sweet and simple and nice but my friend said that it smells like a lemony dishwasher liquid or shampoo and it’s horrible
Gonna try it again and if it smells like lemon cake on me,I’m gonna buy it immediately, however it didn’t last on paper even for two hours,so Longevity seems to be poor, but most important factor for me is liking the scent and It’s really cheap so I can reapply it freely
By the way I don’t like it’s bottle,it’s kind of weird

  25. :

A perfume that smells like vanilla curacao cocktail 🙂 And it’s not a bad thing! Pulse is tropical and powdery but somehow fresh at the same time, therefore can be worn throughout the year. Very original, romantic and playful fragrance.

Randomly banged into this one in our local drugstore today and thought the packaging looked awful but then I decided to give it a try and man was I surprised…in a good way. It starts off fruity sweet, which I think isn’t surprising at all for a celebrity fragrance but then the smell turns into something very warm and milky. The kind of warmth and milkiness I get from YSL’s Manifesto and I swear it works just as good with my body chemistry. The sillage is decent since I spritzed this about 4 hours ago and I can still smell it on my wrist (also mind that I keep sniffing it like crazy). I have to say I’m impressed.

  27. :

It’s a very nice every day fragrance, very fresh, unusual and yummy. I wish it lasted more than 1 hour.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

I’m surprised at how much I like this. For me, its the kind of perfume I’d wear as an every day fragrance if I’m going out shopping or just carrying out my day to day business, especially if I’ve woken up tired. This seems to give you a burst of energy that wakes you up, and in a nice way. its very upbeat.
Not a fan of the bottle, but I guess that’s not really the point of a fragrance

  29. :

    Omg so good!!!!
It’s better than I expected. Not sure how this beauty could have bad reviews! It’s like piña coldada on my skin almost.
Love this!!!! Buy it and you’ll smell like a fruity alcoholic drink– yes, you can literally smell the alcohol. Thank you, Bey

  30. :

    4 out of 5

VERY pretty and totally unusual. I have never sniffed anything like it! Maybe it is the blue curacao that makes this one distinctive, as I have never encountered that ingredient in a fragrance before. Love it and love the name!

  31. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t mind the bottle. Its very futuristic and unique it definitely stands out on my perfume vanity. The fragrance is unique as well. It starts out with a lot of powdery-citrus, sweet Blue Curacou. The way The blue Curacou, vanilla and “frozen bergamot” are blended gives the illusion of a cold frosted Orange Creamcicle. But that facet is short lived. The the orchids and jasmine are there; continuously radiating sensual aromas. This perfume has to be one of the most unusual celebrity fragrances I’ve ever smelt. Its fresh and clean but at the same time it has warmth and depth. Not your typical fruity teeny bopper fragrance. I usually wear this when I get out of he shower or for everyday wear.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

My first impression of the actual bottle was not good. Seems cheap, clunky and just plain weird. (I suppose I should try to be more open minded and see it as something unique). Anyways…as far as the fragrance goes I find this to be exactly what I was hoping it would be. I bought this blindly based on the notes and it didn’t disappoint. The first few mins the scent is exactly that of an orange Creamsicle. It fades within 30min somewhat on me to a more general sweet smell. I don’t have anything like this in my summer fragrance rotation so am happy to use it in the hot months. This smells nothing like Heat, BTW (another plus for me!)
EDIT: I have been wearing this daily. I am loving it! Perfect summer scent for me.

I picked this gift set up at TJ Maxx for $6 (along with Eau de Gaga for $4.50) yesterday. Both blind buys.
The scent on this is very nice, but by no means complex or with a lot of depth. It smelled fresh on the initial spray, but then the scent to me was like (very mild) orange cream, sweet vanilla, and some floral mixed in. I liked it, I just thought it was a bit on the boring side.
It’s a huge disappointment to me with how long it lasts (or doesn’t, in this case). Less than an hour later, it’s gone completely on me. Not only that, but it’s a scent that you really have to get up close to smell on your skin.
For as cheap as it was, I don’t mind too much. It’s a nice enough scent, but nothing that will make a lasting impression.

  34. :

This one was a good surprise. Normally i do not like Beyoncé´s perfumes (except Heat), so i was reticent in trying it, but i am glad i did. This is very unusual and i have a feeling that they actually put some work on creating it.
At the beginning i get a very fresh smell combined with a deep sweetness, balancing each other out. The opening is really intriguing and magnetic.
Later on, the vanilla comes in with a seductive flowery undertone. Very rich and sensual.
This is not the average teen fragrance. It makes you keep coming back for more.
I think it has a unisex feel to it, a man could wear it without problems, but it is still very sexy for the ladies.
Pulse is a job well done.

It doesnt lasts long and gives me headaches whenever I use it.When my father first gave me this perfume as a present in 2012 I remember that I liked it, but after I sprayed it on my body it was a too strong scent that I feel like I was going to throw up in a minute. I dont understand why most people likes it so much…

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I purchased this on a whim because it initially smelt great in the store.
Unfortunately about 20-30 minutes later it turns sickly sweet and give me a headache and nausea!
I’m pretty sad about it really because the first spray is gorgeous, very citrus, fresh and unique. The dry down however is awful! One of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Steer clear if you’re sensitive to perfumes giving you a headache!

  37. :

    5 out of 5

This gets me drunk. I wear it in the summer mainly and at night and ive associated it with night time swimming in the turquoise waters of a lit pool. Any other time it can make me nauseous. I get orange, vanilla and liqueur. It smells drinkable.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I hate this. It smells cheap and stingy and it’s a solid headache material to me. It’s way too spicy and the strong citrus smell doesn’t work out with the so called vanilla.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

I have a sample of Pulse (and some other Beyoncé fragrances, which I’ve reviewed). I think it’s the Blue Curacao Liquer note and the Pear Blossom note, that are both overwhelming for me…I simply get a powerfully strong coconut and pear smell, which is just too much for this old gal. …But, I think this is a scent that would actually work on some men, because it is strong, not-too-sweet, bold and beachy.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

When I first got this perfume i liked it a lot.
But as the time passed I understood that this one is too intense and is not something i would usually wear..

  41. :

    4 out of 5

this is what I’d imagine beyonce to smell like on a day to day basis, it’s like a citrus rain shower in a bottle… well taking a shower with Irish spring soap and then using vanilla scented baby power afterwards, it can be related to Thierry Mugler Cologne if there were a flanker
I use it for a gym spray or get together scent something that’s fresh and inoffensive I’d call it icy yet warm great for when you want to take a break from your heavy alternatives…
as for the scent it starts off cold and energetic (the frosted bergamot and blue Curaçao as for the drydown it’s really the Madagascar Vanilla Bean and what I sense to be the almond blossom which give it that powdery accord

  42. :

    5 out of 5

This smells like an alcoholic trying to cover their funky boozy smell with a cheap syrupy fruit bodyspray. I’m glad I had a chance to test it at a local pharmacy because this smells gross!
I rushed to the bathroom to scrub it off.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

This smells sooo good. it smells fresh, powdery, sweet and clean all at once. I feel so clean when i take a shower with the shower cream and put on the lotion and then finally the perfume….its very sweet yet fresh and clean smelling …..i rate this a 10.10

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I love this. Sweet scent of vanilla+Bergamot. Not like strong vanilla dessert or pastry more like sweet but fresh exotic vanilla combination with these Curacao Bergamot and blossom. At the same time sweet but also a fresh fragrance and that’s why I like it. I had this perfume before years ago and I had to buy new one. Pulse is a very different fragrance than Beyonce’s Heat or Heat Rush I had it also but Heat Rush is more tropical fruit fragrance and remind me of Escada. This one may remind me little bit like Thierry Mugler Angel but Pulse is like more fresh and different scent combination. The bottle is beautiful and not typical one

  45. :

    5 out of 5

First I have to express my hatred of the bottle of this fragrance. It is so, so annoying. I can kind of see what they were going for with the concept of it, and bringing it into the concept of the whole fragrance but I don’t feel like it needed to be done in quite this day and it just looks really cheap. The worst thing about it is it’s annoying, taking the cap off and it doesn’t sit very stably on a surface, either way you stand it.
The scent of this really reminds of the smell of the fruit and animal shaped soaps the Body Shop used to sell many years ago.
Overall though, this is a nice smell but nothing particularly exciting or interesting. Every time I smell it I like it. I get mainly the peony, the curaçao and the bergamot but surprisingly, as it was meant to be quite focused on them, I don’t get much of the orchid.
I do tend to like fragrances with vanilla and musk in the base, so I do like that but for some reason this one is just not something I find myself choosing from my collection. It’s good for spring and summer, as it’s really light and fun. It reminds me of something you’d wear while lounging at the pool at an all inclusive resort. That’s quite different from the seeming intent of the advertising campaign, but that’s the vibe I get. That’s not the sort of holiday I gravitate towards, but if I did do something like that, I’d definitely bring this because it gives me a very resorty vibe I guess because of the curaçao giving it that cocktail-y smell. I can imagine wearing it sitting at the poolside bar.
As I said, there’s nothing particularly special about it that makes me want to go and grab it to use, while it is quite nice. It also lasts a very short time on me, and doesn’t seem to have any projection.

  46. :

I had a one ounce bottle of Pulse last year and went through it in about two months. I remember finding it to be nearly like a unisex fragrance… the citrus notes complimented the scent in an almost masculine manner if not for the pure floral and vanilla drydown.
Pulse is light and clean but also manages to have pretty fair staying power, and will radiate from your body in a sensual way. I liked wearing this in the late morning when I left for work; it’s not at all overly intrusive and I definitely would say it’s a daytime scent, probably best for Spring and Summer.
The box this fragrance comes in is hideously tacky and cheaply made, as most celebrity fragrance boxes are, but I actually quite like the bottle itself. I hear a lot of crap talked about it but I find the blue coloring to be really beautiful and it reminds me of a perfect summer sky shimmering over the ocean.
Overall, I do like Pulse, unlike a lot of Beyonce’s releases so far, and I might pick up a second bottle of it if I see it for a good price somewhere.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

I first tried this on a card and all I got was a bitter sweet citrus that I thought smelt sharp and cheap. Just recently I was sent a free sample but was hesitant to try it on my skin until today. It opened with a sweet but pleasant honeyed citrus but this died down quickly as citruses tend to do. A vanilla note kicked in and at this stage it has similarities to Lady Gaga’s Fame despite the fact that different notes are listed in each – I find Fame the better choice with its subtle fruity note and a honeyed incense. Unfortunately Pulse gets sweeter still and more vanillery and it’s much too much for me. The dry down or rather the fading away after a few hours is a much nicer gourmand skin scent. Pity about that too too sweet middle.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

I dont find this masculine at all on me. I dont get any vanilla either. I mostly get peony, curaco, & bergamot. Smells exactly like Pulse Summer. Its very nice but I have a couple bottles of this so I have one up for swaps if anyone is interested.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Very fresh and probably is my fav pulse perfumes by Beyoncé so far. I think this perfume is suitable for both man and woman but its kinda sweet and masculine at the same time.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

I like it and my mom loves it. I just wish the bottles would stay standing. I have a train right behind my house and whenever it goes by they tip over! Not very sturdy bottles. I have a 1 oz of this for swaps 90% full

  51. :

    3 out of 5

Pulse is a very youthful fragrance
First thing I smell is a strong hint of orange,it is very citrusy.
The base is warm and sensual, most especially because of the vanilla and musk.I love this fragrance most especially because of the base notes.
I recommend this for ladies that are looking for that sensual aura. But Pulse cant be one my signature fragrances, its not sophisticated enough, its just alright.
The lasting power is 6 out of 10

  52. :

    3 out of 5

Pulse is fresh, fruity, kind of immature, and like the rest of Beyonce’s scents IMO, not up to her otherwise sky-high brand standard (that’s not counting her Dereon clothing line either… just sayin). I’ve been gifted this a few times, so I continue to wear it as my super-casual scent, because I know it won’t contradict my sweat pants or messy bun. I guess that’s probably not a good thing as far as a fragrance is concerned, huh? More of a body spray than a perfume for me. I reach for the sexier and longer-lasting scents for more important occasions, otherwise.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

I tried this one out and enjoyed its powdery and orange scent. It is delicate and fun, like a mild perfume. It does not last very long ( maybe 1 hour) and certainly doesn’t radiate. Would be good for when you want a personal scent, and don’t nessesarily want others to be subjected to perfume.
For the review that said it smells like celery, I think perhaps you got a spoiled bottle- sometimes when perfume turns it has a bad scent of celery overpowering all the other notes. I’ve smelt that same celery smell in many tester perfumes stored under hot lights, unfortunately. There’s no celery scent in my bottle.
Delicate, pretty, and discontinued I think, I do like this perfume. I wish it was a little stronger though.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

This fragrance is very sharp and citrusy with a lot of spice added on. I really dislike this scent. I have worn it a few times but it just doesn’t sit well on my skin. Beyonce’s worst perfume to date. I think it was a big mistake releasing this. I love the bottle and box but the smell lets it down big time. Beyonce please step up your game for your next fragrance. Yonce this gets a 5/10 from me due to the packaging alone x

Smells quite strange and spicy. I feel sharp celery. Would never wear it.

  56. :

In summer Pulse was lovely pina colada and vanilla, smooth and creamy. But now it’s more floral, for the first time I feel strong orchid and some blossom of jasmine decorating dessert. I think this perfume most of all represents singer as sexy, self confident and individual personality.

  57. :

    5 out of 5

Well, it is not bad, actually I can tell it is quite nice a perfume, but to me, it lucks authenticity. I was expecting more to be honest, due to the blue orchid, but I couldn’t locate it. Considering that in my country costs 32 euro per 30ml (41.35 dollars) I wouldn’t have bought it. It is kind of generic.

  58. :

    4 out of 5

A woman I work with came in wearing this and it’s quite lovely. Sweet and lemony (bergamot) and creamy. It reminded me very much of Guerlain’s Cologne du 68, but less herbal. What a surprise for a celebrity fragrance.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

I find this perfume very underrated, cause personally I love it. It reminds me of vanilla and a bit of citrus. It’s in my opinion very different from her other perfumes (all of the heat fragrances), I felt this one was a bit more serious. It’s very good for day time, like when you go to your job or to school or something. The bottle is very elegant, but kind of unhandy and the upside down bottle thing is kind of annoying, but whatever. It also stays quite long on me, after a whole day I still smell it so that’s great. I love the scent and I highly recommend it.

  60. :

    4 out of 5

Really don’t like this fragrance, it’s a weird orange bomb! I really wanted to like this because of Beyonce, but unfortunately this is just gross. But it does make a nice air freshener though… Hate the whole upside down bottle thing too, very annoying.

i really like this, but i can’t love it because it literally only lasts about 15 minutes. while i really don’t mind retouching my perfumes because i love the smell of freshly sprayed perfume, this one is just ridiculous. i do love the scent, it’s like a sweet orange sherbet, but light not heavy or syrupy. but, the lasting power is so ridiculous that i won’t be repurchasing it.

What an amazing fragrance, the curacao and vanilla notes work amazingly well together, very warm and sweet. The woody notes worked well on my skin, and I got away with wearing it. Have to point out, it’s 11 hours since I sprayed it, and I can still smell it, puts the recent premium fragrances i’ve acquired to shame. Job well done. I find it smells so similar to Lancome’s Aroma Calm

I was surprised at how sweet this perfume eneded up being. I was expecting this to be a citrusy flowerbomb, boy was I wrong.
This is a very sweet vanilla drink with a sparkling citrus background. It’s in the drydown stages on my wrist right now, it’s a sweet, creamy vanilla with a hint of that blue curacao still lingering around.
Bought it because it was apparently discontinued…
Smells quite similar imo to Pulse NYC, it’s just lacking that Cupcake note.

Smells like red velvet cake. Refreshing light scent, perfect for year round wear especially spring/summer time. Smells clean & pretty.

I hate this bottle. I have to keep reminding myself that it is a good fragrance despite the bottle. And even then im still always surprised by how good it is once i put it on. Sorry, its just a bad bottle.
The fragrance is surprisingly good. Its sweet, fruity and not to heavy. Im not the best at picking out notes but i think i get the blue Curacao, which im liking. Its different and fun. I feel like i could where this to a few different places and it not be offensive. But i do think it’s more spring summer, not sure how well this would do in winter or colder fall.

First off (and this seems mandatory these days since it is necessary to separate the perfume fans from the celebrity fans when reviewing celeb fragrances) I am not a Beyoncé fan…. the artistes I admire do not have perfume lines, but I think this fragrance is very unique. I have the original and the flankers. I am entranced by the creamy orange and vanilla notes with the powdery base. Compliments, compliments, compliments… every time I wear it. The sillage and longevity is also very good. I own designer fragrances… Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, St. Laurent but I get satisfaction wearing cheaper “celeb” brands…Pulse, Rebelle, Fantasy, Can Can, Purr, Meow. I think that attempts to produce “sofisticated” creations have taken the fun out of the juice. I could be wrong…some may disagree. And FYI women over 40 like to smell girly too! If they can pull it off. Lol!

I don´t like this one at all 🙁
My mom gave me this fragrance and she was sad seeing me disappointed, but what can I do. I gave it to my friend who loves it 🙂

What does fragrance yesterday at T.J. Maxx because it was on sale. I’m not crazy about it. It’s a bit stinky. I collect fragrances and have many this is probably in my bottom five. I don’t think I will buy it again. I may change my mind I’ve been known to do that it may grow on me wait-and-see

This is a yummy smelling treat that is whimsical and sweet. I can share this with my teenage daughter without being too ridiculously young smelling… It is the kind of smell which you can put on and feel happy and refreshed. It is not sophisticated but it does NOT smell cheap either. It starts with a bright orange citrus blast, and over 15 minutes or so changes and the vanilla and woodsy notes in the dry down are a nice surprise. I wish that it lasted a bit longer, but the price was so low that I can’t really complain. I think the bottle on this as well as Pulse NYC were just bad choices on Beyonce’s part and give it a cheap vibe, however the scent itself is a solid like for when I am in the mood for a mood lifting fruity frag!!! Also, the combination of the orange blended with vanilla also has a stress relieving effect on me… ahhh …nice. 🙂
FYI, For east coast girls, Marshalls has this on the shelves now for $16.99!!

I bought this perfume last year and it’s almost gone, the bottle is ugly and it must be cheaply manufactured as the bottle is now leaking. But now the scent, it’s very citrusy and I think it smells like fizzy lemon. None the less I like the sent! Last power is bad though

Serve it on the rocks… The Curacao note is very dominant, but I like Curacao liqueur so I’m happy enough about that. However I get very little vanilla, bergamot, orchid or any of the other notes. And the sillage is weakish. But a nice happy summer fragrance for warmer weather, a vacation scent. A flirt, not a serious romance.

update:make sure you buy a new bottle of this stuff because i just got my order in and the bottles are from 2012 and it seems to have gone flat…this fragrance once it ages the zingy citrus no longer there..i am not happy with the order and the fragrance at how flat it is but when its fresh it is very bubbly i still smell the curacao and the florals and the vanilla but its not special like it once was and its a nice gift set..not a good investment if a product truly changes so drastically like this one in so little time..lotion is awesome though very rich and still very citrusy but it doesn’t smell creamsicle to me just alot like alcohol and vanilla that gets alittle fuzzy in the end.I’m returning it.
