Tamazian – :
Some unfamiliar notes in this, so I’m not sure what I’m detecting individually but something is combining into honey though it’s not listed. Overall this begins as a powdery sweet white flower encased in a cacoa pod husk with only a hint of citrusy petigrain. The blood orange is there but whispering. Almost cloyingly sweet on the drydown like a cocoa butter, wishing the vetiver would show up more. Researched the muhuhu, found out is referred to as “African sandalwood”- and I’m sure I’m getting that, almost an amber like creaminess with a hint of spice warmed by the barley. It works well for a wet spring day or dry winter one. Unfortunately the sillage leaves much to be desired (for me)- down to a skin scent in less than 20 minutes. Staying power isn’t much either, gone in less than 2 hours.
