Description

In July 2016, Britney Spears launches Private Show, the 20th fragrance in her collection and the new “pillar” scent (after Curious from 2004, Fantasy from 2005, Believe from 2007 and Radiance from 2010). The new fragrance represents an expression of her love for dulce de leche, white flowers and iced coffee.

Private Show celebrates one of my biggest passions — dancing! It is inspired by the electric energy I feel when I’m performing, whether during rehearsals or on-stage during my show. I wanted my fans to have an uplifting, sexy scent that empowers them to achieve their dreams!” said Britney.

The composition is floral – fruity – gourmand, expected to be more mature that the Fantasy line. It opens with sweet and fresh notes of clementine, nectarine and coffee with whipped cream. The heart mixes gourmand notes of dulce de leche with white flowers of orange blossom and sambac jasmine. The warm dry down consists of luminous amber and sensual musk.

The fragrance is available in a diamond-shaped bottle and Eau de Parfum concentration.

I got this todayas a blindbuy and I am very suprised. I generally dont like Britney Spears fragrances as all of them are usually very sweet but this one is really nice. Sweetness can still be detected but not as sickly as Fantasy. Its more of a mature sweet and this definitely can be worn all seasons. Its a very office safe but alsosummer night time fragrance. The coffee is very soft in the background and not so much in your face. Very cosy but fresh type of gourmand, nicely balanced.

On the first spray, this is a very sweet scent – almost too sweet – although it does mellow a little as it settles and melts into the skin. After that, I begin to sense the coffee note, which comes across as a milky, sweet, cappuccino in this fragrance, especially considering it’s mixed with the caramel sweetness of dulce de leche. I get the warmth of the whipped cream, and the nectarine and clementine on the side, which, to me, gives the feel of someone enjoying a cappuccino and fruity desert al fresco on some cafe terrace somewhere. All the while, in the background, there’s the nuance of white flowers – jasmine and orange blossoms on a warm breeze, which only strengthens my thought that this is a scent well suited to summer. But, of course, it could work well in the colder months too. It is a lovely one, and a comforting one I find, for the days when you crave a sweeter fragrance.

Smells like velvety cappuccino! This is a lovely gourmand fragrance if you’re into those types of scents. This scent lasts 5+ hours. Very happy with this one.

Not too sure about this one. It reminds me of a cross between Aquolina Pink Sugar and mark. Hollywood Pink – but not the best traits of either of them. The initial blast is dulce de leche with a musk base supporting it and a good deal of alcohol. After the drydown I smell a bit of citrus (must be the clementine and nectarine?) with an almost oppressive hair spray accord. The next phase is a light latte scent with indistinguishable floral, which is pleasant but the hair spray is still very noticeable. I’m not convinced that I like this. I’ll need to try it again in different circumstances and live with her for a bit.
UPDATE: Happy to come back and eat my words – and this is why I should never judge a fragrance until I’ve done more than just test it on my wrist. Today, Private Show is completely missing that hair spray accord that ruined it for me the other day. Perhaps it was just the first spray out of the bottle that caused that. It is a relaxing, happy confection: a bright opening of tropical fruit that morphs quickly into cream and caramel and coffee and light, musky floral that reminds me of the spa at my timeshare in Las Vegas. It’s not loud or obnoxious, it’s sweet and fragrant, fun and even sexy – I can now associate it with a wonderful vacation vibe thanks to the memory it stirs.
I’m glad I gave it another chance – I was so close to putting it on ebay but decided to try it today since I was working from home. Thumbs up!

I really don’t get what everyone else is smelling. All i get is a potent blast of alcohol with a hint of Fantasy before it fades into thin air.

Blind buy. Arrives in the mail. Box is boring, straight in the bin with that.
The bottle? I love it. Simple, feminine and classy.
First spray and I notice it sends out a volume of liquid that my garden sprinkler would aspire to. Yes, you drown in this. But you need to. The longevity and silage of this are low. But I think this is deliberate.
This is a scent which is to be enjoyed by the wearer and those who she invites close. It’s soft. It’s alluring.
It’s not about looking for fun and being boisterous. Try Fantasy for that.
This is about a mature, sophisticated sensuality.
The dry down of musk and amber are so gorgeous and softly feminine, that for the first time in months, I ventured into my dangly earring collection.
Move over Adam Levine for women…….I’ve found another sensual scent to snorkel in.

After reading up on this fragrance here I decided to take a sniff while at my local Walgreens a few days ago. The lady sprayed it on a card & when I immediately smelled it I was put off by the strong alcohol and flowery mix. But I knew to wait, the magic was in the drydown. Once the sweet Carmel, coffee, whipped cream mix started to arrive I was in heaven. I was lucky to find a 1oz tester online for $9.99 so I grabbed it. Anxiously awaiting for it to arrive in the mail! I will update more once I actually get to wear it. I’m going to start collecting all of Britney’s perfumes so if anyone has any that they don’t want message me!!!
UPDATE- so I finally received this & I really like it. Smells amazing. Smells almost woodsy (I’m assuming that is the coffee note that my nose is confusing) with the smooth creamy dulce & Carmel. Very soft & great for the colder months. I smelled Perogative the other day & is very similar. Perogative is a bit heavier and has a strong spicy opening (pink pepper?) Silliage is decent- lasts a good 5 hours or so. Projection- sits pretty close to the skin but if you’re having a conversation with someone they could smell it. Overall I’m really happy with this!!

This really is a nice concoction for a celebrity fragrance. But I can still smell that plasticity smell that’s in all celebrity scents. Which makes it smell noticeably cheap. I want this remade with less synthetics and by another brand.

It smells like one of those diabetes-inducing Starbucks drinks. I’m not a fan of Starbucks, and I’m not a fan of this fragrance. Unfortunately for me, it does last quite a while.

So much time has passed since Britney released Curious and her line gets stronger and stronger with each new fragrance released from her line. This is another perfect Britney fragrance. The people in charge of her fragrances always knows where to toe the line. The perfume is sweet without knocking into the category for being too sweet. I get two different scents off of Private Show. I pick up the fruits for the opener and it dries down smelling like candy on my skin.
Not that it takes anything away from the wonderful fragrance, I think the weakest link is the bottle. The one positive thing I can say about the bottle is I like the pretty pink topper cap. The bottle itself is rather plain. That’s pretty unusual in itself since Britney’s bottles are usually so colorful.
More positives: I love the photoshoot Britney made for this fragrance. There’s a very beautiful picture of Britney on the Private Show box. I also enjoyed the commercial for the perfume. Britney looks FANTASTIC in the commercial. I think the commercial might be one of the most memorable ad that Britney has shot for a perfume. I think I enjoy it over the “classic” commercials for Curious and Fantasy.
There’s no telling how long Britney’s fragrance line will continue to release new things. All I know is I look forward to each new release and can’t wait to try each new one.

I tried Private Show at the perfume counter in the shopping centre. A yummy and bright caramel frappuccino perfume!! I find that although it is sweet it is not overpowering so; fairly moderate. It’s the kind of scent to spray into your scarf in the autumn and winter time. The silage is not the best, but it’s ok. However, I really do think that a scent as beautiful as this deserves a much better looking bottle! – it feels and looks very cheap and boring. This is surprising to me as Britney perfumes usually have very good quality bottles, most notably the fantasy line. The design also feels like they didn’t try.
Overall though, i’m not going to stop that bottle keep you away from this gorgeous scent!
I went to the bakery after i had first sprayed and the girl at the counter told me i smelled lush and asked what i had on!

This scent for first time looks wow mix of yummy but after minuets i found it looks like car freshner or many of splashs not sophisticated at all but still beautiful smell .. i loved fantasy so much but this one not

Private Show is soft, sweet, feminine, and sexy. My impression of the fragrance notes and the name makes me think “strippers!” I like it!

I loved the smell of this perfume. I tend to stick with the gourmet fragrances so it’s no surprise this is one of my faves. But I would suggest buying the lotion and body spray if you want any silage or longevity out of it. I love the smell but I am used to wearing LVEB, Black Opium, and Sofia Love, and this perfume is very calm in comparison, but it does smell just as good and for the price you can spray a lot.

  15. :

    3 out of 5

Blind buy, I want to say I paid around $25 for a 3.4oz, which is a great price in my opinion. I got this because I wanted something that smelled like caramel but still smelled fresh and clean and not like heavy. I have to say it hit the mark! I smell like dulce de leche and milk but also the floral…which works incredibly well together which I never would have expected. It’s very inoffensive and not overly synthetic smelling. I’d rate it a 9/10. Probably my favorite of hers.

Alright, so I previously left a pretty negative review, but I recently tried it at a physicallly bigger store where the air was less filled with mixed fragrances and, I’ll be honest, I loved it. Bought it today. It’s literally caramel frapuccino in a perfume bottle. Also, the bottle is super classy and cool. Love it.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

Caramel latte in a perfume bottle! Very nice gourmand scent in low price, quite long lasting.
The sweetness is not cloying at all, it comes from the caramel (not lollipop) note.
This is more mature than the Fantasy line.
This could be nice during the cold season. To be honest, this has more notes and nuances than the much more expensive Prada Candy, which is another caramel scent. I’d prefer Private Show to Candy.

  20. :

    3 out of 5

this is a sugary iced coffee scent, which i never thought i’d like in a fragrance. i love a creamy dry down and i get a coffee tinted creaminess with this. this gets better as it wears imo. i like it better than black opium because it’s softer and less powdery. the other britney scent that might be comparable is curious in control but that is boozy whereas this is like a sweet latte. viva la juicy might be similar but this doesn’t have the caramel and fruit prominence. longevity is decent, i get wafts of it 6+ hours and beyond.

  21. :

Coffee and dulce de leche, the headlining acts I was promised, were a no-show for this performance. How sad.
Instead, Private Show opens with an almost aldehydic cleanness and light, sweet nectarines. White florals, which do the bulk of the work here, combine strangely with what I assume were intended as the whipped cream notes to create more of a lotion-like smell vaguely resembling Avon’s Skin so Soft.
It is not an unpleasant experience, but lotion and flowers are not exactly the gourmand that I hoped for. With a name like Private Show, people expect something not quite so forgettable, and the bait-and-switch is a bit frustrating.
The bottle, I will say, is certainly the most elegant and beautiful of all the Britney Spears fragrances.

  22. :

A clever blend that brilliantly illustrates the show analogy from start to finish.
I’m talking as a seasoned musician performer and it’s very unlikely I convert some day into becoming a Britney Spears fan (I’m right into playing rock punk stuff… enough said!)
Such a youthful, dynamic, burst of juicy nectarine and mandarin! This is truly the star of the show: it takes centre stage and performs consistently throughout, without being egomaniac or buoyant.
That fruit mix has some flowery quality, hence it never smells like a cheap, nasty, saccharin gourmand.
On the dry down, there’s some sweetness I’d attribute to dulce de leche. However, there’s none of the milkiness or overt caramel characteristics from real dulce de leche.
I actually find it fairly elegant.
Am I the only one not to get any coffee/ frappuccino notes whatsoever?
Perhaps because it blends seamlessly with the dulce de leche?
Anyway, it seems like that concoction acts like concert roadies: reliable, discreet, backstage workers who tie everything together.
I absolutely love that overall balance!
That’s the type of fragrance I’d wear before bed, since its vitality and grown up sweetness are so comforting.
I got the 100ml bottle for about 18 euros on Amazon France, which is a quite low price point.

    Amazing!
Be patient with this beauty, she takes a little while to open up.
Private Show blooms like cupcake scented flowers with cream after about 20 mins.
Projection isn’t huge but she is so beautiful so I spray lots on me.
Good thing the price is reasonable!

  24. :

    4 out of 5

To be honest, it smells pretty cheap. Like a Hannah Montana fragrance you might buy at Claire’s. I’m sure some people love it, which is fine, but personally I don’t see the appeal.

  25. :

It opens with sweet and fresh notes of clementine, nectarine and coffee with whipped cream. The heart mixes gourmand notes of dulce de leche with white flowers of orange blossom and sambac jasmine. The warm dry down consists of luminous amber and sensual musk.
I LOVE THIS! I get a very brief burst of fresh fruit, but no coffee, orange blossom, sambac Jasmine or musk at all.
That’s cool though…I get the best, fresh whipped cream, dulce de leche and amber. Very clean and sweet.
My only complaint is the longevity…next to none.
It’s still a favorite…a definite contender for signature scent
If you like this, you should try:

I am a huge Britney fan and was super happy to get my hands on this one. It smells really good but not exactly how I expected it to. I don’t smell any coffee but there is a strong sweet smell (the caramel and whipped creme mixed) along with a hint of like musk? It would be best suited for people in their 20s or 30s (or anyone with a young spirit lol). It does smell kind of juvenile but there is something about it that smells more grown up or mature than Britney’s or even other celebrities scents. It’s not my favorite smell but it is one that I appreciate and am happy to have in my collection. Don’t blind buy it because although it is a nice fragrance I don’t think that everyone would enjoy it. Overall 4/5, generic yet different at the same time?

  28. :

    3 out of 5

Since is not a flanker I spected a very different fragrance with a prominent note of Dulce de Leche, I don’t know… a different kind of sweet smell, this is very generic im a little disappointed, smells like MEOW with a little touch of a cheap Black Opium kind of smell.
Like it anyways but I had big expectations.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

I bought this because of the supposed coffee note but I don’t smell coffee at all. To me this smells more like Britney’s Maui Fantasy than anything else. And to think this has been compared to my beloved, Black Opium! It’s absolutely in no way similar to Black Opium. Another disappointment. So it goes when you’re a blind buyer , like I tend to be.

    Sweet and fruity

a while ago i saw on a fragrantica Review”can somebody explain to me the fruit salad thing?! she didnt like fruity perfumes…i do and i have to say can somebody explain to me about the cake/ dessert/ pie thing?
if you want your partner to eat you thats a bit strange ok im gonna stop talking/Writing
    its a no for me

I’m a fan of Britney spears perfumes.I have twelve perfumes from her and private show is one of my top favorites.
First I smelled it on a friend and since then I couldn’t wait to buy my own.unfortunately celebrity perfumes aren’t that easy to find here so I had to wait for a while.
Private show is very delicious.a real gourmand.I find it more delicious when I compare it to fantasy but it’s also easier to wear by adults.I wish she keeps making gourmand perfumes in this line.real gourmands with more notes like cream, coffee, dulce de leche, cotton candy, spun sugar, maple syrup, caramel, praline, cacao, dark and white chocolate, milk mousse, rice, creme brule, marzipan, tiramisu or whatever foody note exists and less fruity notes.I know a lot of people love fruity scents but she can make fruity ones as fantasy line’s members and non-fruity gourmands as private show flankers
When I first spray private show I can just smell alcohol but it goes away in seconds.then I can smell it’s fruity top notes.both clementine and nectarine are detectable but they’re soon covered by thick cream, dulce de leche, caramel and coffee.it’s not a heavy coffee perfume, coffee isn’t as prominent as cream but it has coffee a little more than black opium and I can start to easily pick it up half an hour after applying
This fun, super delicious, creamy gourmand phase calms down after an hour.it’s still sweet in drydown but not as foody as it’s first hour.I can smell vanilla and coffee(though there’s no vanilla in it’s pyramid),a little similar to black opium and I can also smell light floral notes, mostly orange flower which grows stronger as time passes.what finally lasts on my skin is florals plus something sweet and slightly powdery
Private show is a huge love for me.it can satisfy my need for eating and smelling something yummy.it’s very smooth and comforting.I mostly use it at home, partys and evenings that I go out with friends or family to have some fun.it lasts for four hours on my skin and another two or three hours as a faint skinscent.sillage isn’t as huge as fantasy but it’s not soft either, maybe that’s because I’ve always sprayed it with a heavy hand
I love to collect different-colored fantasy bottles, still I’m happy to see a new bottle around and this is a beautiful one.mine is a 3.4oz tester and doesn’t have a cap which is a pity because I’m sure it would look much prettier with it’s pink cap.it’s bottle is made of glass and doesn’t look cheap like some other celebrity perfumes
All in all I’m very happy to have it.I will repurchase whenever I go through it
    Edit:
I want to add it’s not similar to Katy Perry meow IMHO.meow is another favorite of mine and I have used up a huge bottle of it and now I’m on my second.their only similarity is that both are sweet, yummy, creamy and lovely.meow smells like a vanilla-pear ice cream while private show is a coffee-cream-chocolate-orange treat.

oh my this is like wearing dessert on ur body……….yummy 🙂 im usually not a big gourmand fan but this fragrance is a very nice girly gourmand……..the whip cream makes it so yummy & creamy…….and the jasmine with amber & musk…..ahhhhh such a great combo………perfect for young girls & teens & us older gals love some fun too 🙂 very wearable for all ages 🙂

  34. :

    4 out of 5

One of her best smelling fragrances, hands down. Sadly, it’s not that long lasting, and weak sillage too. I smell mainly creaminess and that dulce de leche, but the coffee note is only noticeable after hour. It’s soft, sweet, comforting and light. I’m happy to have it.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

I really am not a Britney Spears perfume fan. Fantasy has somewhat of a cult following but I hated it lol. This opens with a heavy alcohol snd synthetic smell that I hated. But once it began drying down, I loved the coffee smell! For that reason I decided to keep this. It’s not offensive at all and a comfort to smell once it dries down. I wear this or pink sugar to bed. So this isn’t a love, but a strong like and I like having it in my collection. My favorite coffee scent.

It smells sooo good I remember i was trying out samples of Britney Spears perfumes at duty free in Dublin airport even though I bought original fantasy there I was dying to have private show cuz it smelled sooooo good just ordered it online I wear it to school I always get compliments on the Britney Spears perfumes. I wear. I always go for the sweet perfumes

While looking for a coffee ish fragrance everyone recommended Black Opium and Private Show. I think I like Britney scents best of the celebrity lines. Funnily enough, I love the scent but I do not get any aspect of coffee at all. Vanilla cream or dulce de leche, yes but not actually coffee. I smell either grape candy or light citrus sweetness and then creamy sweetness but its all very light, not syrupy or heavy. Like divinity candy almost. I also don’t smell musk but that’s fine I’m not a big musk fan.
So basically even though I was looking for a coffee scent and this isn’t it, I don’t mind because I find this very delicious and I will be wearing it a lot this winter.

Who remembers rice flower and Shea from bath and body works? Well if you were a fan of that glorious scent then you may be a fan of private show. Granted it’s been a very long time since I’ve smelled rice flower and Shea but I definitely remember it smelling a lot like this. Private show is surprisingly delicious. I have a strong aversion to cotton candy type sweet fragrances and I worried that this would be one of those but it definitely is not. Private show is soooooo creamy warm sweet and sexy. I personally would wear this year round because I think it’s light enough to get away with in the spring and summer. It is also quite buildable to get full siliage in the colder months. This is the sweet scent I’ve been searching for! Love love love!
Layering tip: private show perfume over bath and body works Tokyo lotus apple blossom lotion. This combo brings out the floral aspect of the perfume a bit more but keeps it warm and sweet at the same time. Definitely give it a try.

Reading many reviews I saw this perfume for $29.99 for 100ml the my local chemist so thought I’d give it a go. It did not disappoint!!!! I keep getting whiffs as I wear it which hasn’t happened with another perfume in a long time!
Opens up with a sweetness that is very reminiscent of the original Fantasy fragrance which I also adore. Then within minutes settles into a deep scent of caramel frappacino, with a slight spice behind it.
It’s so beautifully sensual, yet pretty. It’s like Fantasy has matured into a mysterious, sexy woman.
    Absolutely love it!!!

I have to agree with this smelling like a caramel frappuccino, i don’t even like coffee, but this smells fantastic! I’ve found myself reaching for this sweet little gem more and more frequently! Even spraying this on my bed sheets! LOL It smells so so yummy!

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Smells exactly like a caramel frappuccino! Not super strong, I only catch whiffs of it here and there when I wear it.. or maybe my nose just gets used to it.. but it does last for awhile. For some reason Britney scents just always get it right. I’ve never met a Britney frag I didn’t like.. I’ve owned several over the years and always finish the bottle. They’re sweet and enjoyable crowd-pleasers, safe for the office, but with some complexity to keep them interesting during wear.
Anyway, Private Show opens quite fruity and floral with a hint of coffee but the dry-down is pure coffee and sweet caramel and whipped cream.. I feel like I’m eternally walking around with a Starbucks cup in my hand when I wear this. Just lovely if you’re a coffee fan, a must-have!

  42. :

    3 out of 5

I love the delicate soft spicy notes in this one. It’s not a fruit salad or sugar bomb like some of her other fragrances, this one is a bit more well rounded. It’s a very cozy, comforting scent that still manages to be sexy and alluring. I find it really blooms in the dry down, the Dulce de leche pops out and smells fabulous! Sillage and longevity are not too shabby either.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

Oh, this is SO good! It opens very fruity, quite similar to Black Opium’s fruity opening, but soon becomes creamier, more gourmand, not as floral. As with Black Opium, the coffee note is not as prominent as I would like, but Private Show does dry down to a yummy vanilla Frappuccino type smell. The Britney division at EA rarely disappoints!

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Saw the notes, read the reviews and thought I’d pick it up. An hour after reading the reviews I have a bottle of Private show in my hands and I must admit on the first spray I thought this is really good. I guess it is too early to say this but I have tried so many of Britney’s perfumes and I personally think this is probably one of the best.
UPDATE: I wore this to bed overnight. This morning I returned to the store to pick up another one. Now I have two 50 ml bottles. The bottle is so beautiful. This scent is soft, creamy and special. The coffee, whipped cream and florals are perfectly blended. This scent is personal and comforting. On that note, this is my best Britney’s perfume. Each time I see that EA brand, I know it’s worth the risk.

  45. :

    Mmm.
This is an iced caramel latte with whip and white florals. Definitely get the musk and amber as base notes. I think this is in the same vein as Britney’s Fantasy line, but she did something slightly different here. This is creamy sweet and floral. I find the coffee note to be quite prominent which I love.
This could be worn all year comfortably, but find the autumn to be the best time to wear this. With a little heat, this blooms, but with too much heat, it might become too cloying. I really enjoy layering Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte from BBW with this. Although I don’t find the Pumpkin Latte mist to smell much like pumpkin or a latte, it is a creamy gourmand perfume that fits well with this. Also, I used to think this was very short-lived, but after wearing it often this past month, I find that it actually lasts a while, just isn’t very strong. It’s one of those scents that you’ll get wafts of later on in the day and realize it’s you that smells great. 🙂
I receive the most compliments from people when I wear this. Must love gourmands to appreciate this.

Very light, sweet summerday perfume 🙂

  47. :

So, the more I wear this and compare, the more i find it reminiscent of Meow by Katy Perry.. only this has coffee notes, in place of Meow’s apple notes, which is great cause I’m not too fond of sour apple scents. But, I got both of them together, and found them to be too similar to have both at once. I kept them anyway, but that’s just my thought. If you like Meow, chances are you will like this. Perhaps I’m wrong in this asessment.
It’s peculiar, but I actually liked Private Show’s body mist over the perfume. The creamy facets were more pronounced, imo. But just the same, I’m still loving the perfume. I think the Private Show lotion, or just any random vanilla lotion will make for better longevity with this perfume. The lasting power on its own isn’t much to speak of.. which is actually common amongst BS fragrances outside of the Fantasy line. I wish private show and in control curious were as strong as the original Fantasy. That would be perfection. I already reviewed this, but I just wanted to point out the similarity to Meow. I’m not a fan of pop music or mainstream music or pop icons on general, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Britney. Her perfumes are wonderful, and I secretly even listen to her music lol. Go Britney

SEXY, SWEET, SENSUAL! Yes the Triple S.
This is my first review here :). I have to say, I own high end perfume, however this one, celebrities perfume, I did get so many compliments at the first day that I am wearing. The best part is, when I was asked about what perfume I was wearing I responded two girls that this is Britney Spears, they were like: – What?? Are you serious?
    – Yeah bitch, it’s Britney. lol
She really did a great job and I smell so good, right now it almost 8 hours long lasting.
It is so intoxicating, sweet gourmand. Bye now because I am going to the store to buy some more.
    *LOVE IT!*

creamy, gourmand, youthful, lucky-charm smell. When it dries down I can really smell the coffee which makes it unique. 8 out of 10

Britney Spears fragrances are among my favorites. This is no exception.
Smell of milk and whipped cream with a drop of fruit at first, after which the base notes appear. I do not feel the coffee though I wanted it.
It is a good perfume IMO but not very longlasting.
Also do not expect to fill a room with this fragrance, it will not happen.
    That’s why I give only 8/10.

Creamy, latte and sweet, think Starbucks but not as strong on the coffee (there is a hint of it but not a lot).
Sillage for me is good/moderate – sitting here wearing it I’m in a cocoon of creamy kinda musky coffee.
longevity – really average – not a lot to say here other than I really like the 2nd phase of the fragrance best to me that is when the coffee milk smell shines.
Straight out of the bottle REALLY strong alcohol smell, it does need to breathe for a good 5mins before you try and smell it.
Warm and soft, I would wear this on a daily basis, not overly invasive or offensive on the nose. I definitely get Gourmand from this more than sweet/fruity/floral. I am a real fan of gourmands though, so you should know I am a little bias towards it.
The bottle is quite underwhelming once you open it, particularly the pink plastic lid which can give the impression of a cheap and generic perfume but it smells better than being brought down by a really lackluster design. don’t get me wrong the shape of the bottle is nice and refreshing – just could have been better.
9/10 from me, a new perfume I see myself wearing a lot more.
p.s. a great morning fragrance to put on for a day at the office – smells like you have just had your morning coffee 🙂

Opening is very similar to fantasy, but minus the kiwi- sugary sweet, warm, candy gourmand. It grows into something that, while still super sweet, is more discreet than fantasy. It’s close to the skin with underlying notes of musk and a whisper of nectarine, but I wouldn’t say this is fruity. The coffee note emerges as a little toasty, but is hard to distinguish on my skin. I enjoy this very much since some of Britney’s fragrances, while delicious, are just a little too loud.

I’ve purchased this today after smelling it over a year ago. It goes with my skin chemistry unlike the other Britney Spears line. I still prefer spraying on my clothes because the scent intensifies on my skin and can become a heady vanilla amber scent. A great alternative to Black opium which doesn’t last on me.
Brill longevity and moderate to very good sillage considering many mention that it doesn’t last long on them.
Of all the perfumes from this range, this one is my fav. It has that same foody vibe that the original Fantasy had prior to reformulation. The foodiness doesn’t make me feel queasy as others and for that reason I stay clear of these types generally.
After 9 hours: this scent is still strong on my wrists!!
It lingered till the following day! Also similar to Meow but meow gives me a massive headache and this doesn’t 🙂

Ok so I sprayed this on my wrist tonight out of boredom, waiting for someone, and I could not stop sniffing my wrists…. so I raced back to get it!
    Dear LORD Britney :O :O
My signature scent is Black Opium so I can see the comparisons in that they both have that creamy, vanilla, heart to them but Black Opium is the bad ass girl rocking tight leather pants and black eyeliner, about to break your heart and steal your wallet… Private Show is the girl waiting on the bed in lingerie
