I am not sure what to think about Private by Franck Olivier.
To my nose it belongs to strictly aquatic olfactive group; there is little fuity or floral feel to it, it seems to possess a very strong watery note. As much as it is pleasant, I expected a lovely winter warmer by looking at notes.
I own nearly all Franck Olivier’s fragrances in my collection and Private turned out to be the most puzzling one.
Longetivity and silage are fine.
The bottle, like the other three shell bottles, is pretty and makes a lovely display in my perfume wardrobe.
The bottle color suggest something somehow mysterious, seductive and passionate, as the fragrance name may also suggest.
But what is given to us instead is a great juice but mainly wearable at summer time.
Despite all this, it is going to be my keeper.

Most of all I feel the apple, black currant and Lily-of-the-Valley notes in this fragrance. It smells on me light, sour and watery (maybe because of the sea notes). It reminds me Halloween by Jesus Del Pozo. I don’t like neither of them. Too sour for me.
