Description

Designer Vera Wang presents a new, glamorous and nocturnal edition of the popular Princess perfume to the world market in January 2012. Princess Night is described as a blend of exotic flowers, fruits and woody tones.

The top oozes with wild berries, watermelon and raspberry. The composition’s core is formed of jasmine petals, spiced orange blossom and a touch of passionate rose, while the intensively sweet base features crushed sugar, vanilla and musk.

The bottle remains heart-shaped as the original, covered with dark purple glitter and adorned with a silver crown. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

One Christmas, I was persuaded by a sales assistant that this was a very similar fragrance to My Insolence, which had been discontinued by Guerlain. There was no tester and I foolishly bought it. It didn’t do anything for me and I rarely used it, and eventually I disposed of it. It seemed a weak fragrance despite being an eau de parfum, it seemed more like an eau de toilette, and I hated the gritty texture of the bottle. I think it might possibly have suited a young girl.

Had this one for a while, just one that doesn’t seem to really get picked for whatever reason. It isn’t bad at all, but I purchased it during a “buy aaallll the fragrances!” spell and it didn’t really captivate me. I am generally a fan of Vera Wang fragrances, they usually work well for me although never the longest lasting…
So, back to Princess Night. It’s a decent fragrance. Sweet, inoffensive, well balanced. Not nearly as “dark” as I would imagine with that name, nothing “nuit” about this at all. Perfectly wearable for day/work.
On me, like some other reviewers, it does have a striking resemblance to Fancy. I am wearing one on each arm right now and there are slight differences but the impression is very, very similar. I would say if you already own one, it is redundant to own the other. Fancy does have better longevity on my skin and a tiny bit of a salty note that Princess Night doesn’t have.
I don’t really perceive the watermelon (totally fine with me!) or much of the florals. It is a pretty, comforting, sweet vanilla caramelly scent with woodsy base.
This doesn’t remind me of Midnight Fantasy whatsoever (own that too). MF is all about succulent, juicy berries and vanilla on me and this has just a hint of raspberry.
The bottle is ok, I am not a huge fan but it’s not a dealbreaker.
All in all, a good scent for the young at heart who enjoys sweet fragrances. Nothing earth-shattering, nothing extraordinary but nice.

This one is a lot of fun. It starts out smelling like a juicy sweet pineapple and dries down to Jessica Simpson’s Fancy (sweet woody vanilla)! I don’t understand how this combination of notes does that on me, but I am not complaining! I like it. Princess Night is nice and friendly, lasts throughout an 8-hour day, projects moderately, and is very well priced. It’s definitely a good buy even for a princess on a budget!
The only thing that truly bugs me about Princess Night is the bottle. I’m firmly in the “kindergarten art project” camp when it comes to aesthetics in that department. The bottle looks much cuter and well done in photographs than in person. Oh well.

The opening is definitely a “princess” kind. The dry down however, reminds me of some men’s colognes, warm, spicy, woodsy and cozy but very light (maybe because of the intense rose, vanilla, wood, musk…in it?). I LOVE the fact that the rose note and other ‘spicy’ notes are more dominant on my skin, leaving the weak sugar or sweet notes in the back stage. Very lovely fragrance for evening and warm weather.
The bottle design however is hideous and annoying though (except for the cute crown cap with gem stones adorned). I don’t get the cheap, child-like looking, rough, chunky dark Purple glitter that gets transferred on my hand every single time I grab the bottle for a spray?!?!?! Even my 10 year old could make a better item using glitter than this one 🙂 Its design is more like “wicked/witchy princess” than “night princess” 🙂 Definitely NOT an attractive bottle for vanity decoration.
The bottom line is that, I still really enjoy the juice inside.

No matter when I wear this perfume I get compliments and for an EDT it lasts a long time, longer than some EDP’s I own.
I would not just keep this for the night but wear it 24 hours, the flavour is just so gorgeous, I cannot stop smelling my skin.
I love the roughly textured bottle and the colour is my favourite.
Very sweet and juicy but not in a cloying way that would turn most people off, I have never had anyone say anything negative about this perfume.
I love the little cap and crown that you can wear as rings. Vera Wang makes some of my favourite perfumes and this is right on top of the list.

I accidentally came to try some rollerballs from vera wang perfumes that I bought a long time ago and came here to write a review about it and I never imagined this perfume would be so popular! My second surprise is the notes’ pyramid. I mean seriously, watermelon? and no patchouli??
at first blast I get a lot of sharp patchouli mixed with berries, it reminds me of something like euphoria or midnight rain, but in a less classier way.
It’s not as sweet as the notes suggest, but it sweetens after a while. It still has got some sharpness that I’d love to know where comes from. It never stops reminding me of midnight rain.
It’s a perfume just within the mainstream. The bottle and notes look more promising than the perfume itself. Even longlasting power and sillage are no more than average. But I agree with adding the name “night” to the perfume. It can go on nerve as a daily perfume, so,more likely proper for specific occasions and nights.

Today, I went to revisit this beautiful scent after a blind buy of Glam Princess and it is still one of my favorites from my perfume stash! I love it! I am a fan of Vera Wang’s Princess collection and this one is by far my favorite of that collection! ❤️

When I first put this on it reminded me so much of something I’ve smelled before. Reading the reviews I finally saw it! It really does smell like Lancome Miracle’s sweeter edgier sister!!! I personally love Miracle but I love this one even more. It’s less floral than Miracle. My husband told me I smell delicious so that always makes me love a fragrance more. I’m also a sucker for the glittery heart shaped bottle. They look so pretty on my dresser. I think it would be great for a date night or cold day when you want to warm up a bit.

Sweet, sugary jasmin with a fruity note and vanilla in the base. It’s deeper than the original Princess. It doesn’t smell super luxurious but it’s nice for a teen on a date night!

  10. :

    4 out of 5

Very vanilla on me with a delicious sugary/musky dry down. However, I’m not a big fan of wearing vanilla-prominent scents (wearing vanilla makes me feel like I’m trying to be someone other than myself, if that makes sense). Thankfully, my sister-in-law was staying with us while hurricane Harvey flattened her hometown, and she loves vanilla fragrances. She loved the smell of Princess Night, and she thought the 3.4oz bottle I had was super cute, though we both agree with one of the previous commenters – it looks (and sheds glitter) like something someone’s kiddo might make during craft time.
One thing I’ve learned from this perfume is that I REALLY like sugar with my musk in a dry down. I now have another note combo to explore as I look for more fragrances to try!

despite the nearly identical notes, this smells nothing like princess power. i agree this smells like Jessica simpson fancy, only this smells wonderful and js smells completely bad. to each her own but this is definitely worth a try for all you princesses of the night

Smelle like Jessica simpson fancy but not as heavy and syrupy. very relaxing soothing berry vanilla type of scent.

this is almost as good as the original. it has a strong heliotrope vibe. an absolute must have for princess lovers!

    yeah alright,
I’m probably too old for this perfume but I just love it.
Sweet in the most feminine way possible, it really makes me feel like a GIRL.
    its delectable.
WATERMELLON is yummy and the musk is very delicate I feel like a dessert when I wear this.
the scent doesn’t often leave the house but it turns up in the bedroom quiet often.
no complaints from anyone sharing my pillow.
    scent 8/10
bottle 5/10 arts and craft from year 5.

This is the only Vera Wang perfume I own. I didn’t have much expectation when I was buying it – I was more attracted to the bottle, rather than to its content.
I was expecting it to be yet another “candy” perfume (that’s how I call all the perfumes that smell like a candy shop, especially with vanilla in them). Definitely not something suitable for a 40 yo woman – or that’s what I thought.
    Well, I was wrong.
Sweet – yes. But I am surprised how people indicated “vanilla” as a dominant note. Not to me.
Strong watermelon cut in half with a few sugar cubes inside starting to melt.
Then raspberry slowly blends in, then woodsy-musky notes and only then some vanilla.
This is how it settled on my skin (forget the flowers – they don’t like my skin and evaporate immediately).
It is a bit more complex (fresher?) than a regular “candy shop” scent.
I probably won’t buy it again, but I do not regret this purchase.
Definitely the evening one, probably even a bedroom option :).

I blind bought a 100ml bottle of this because it was £9.99 in good old b&m bargains. To me it is very sweet and warm with raspberry and vanilla being the dominant notes. I don’t like the bottle it’s a bit like something my daughter would make at school! But the silage and longevity of this perfume is great. On my clothes the next day it smells creamy and sweet. Love it

  17. :

Upon my first smell all I could detect was: ‘sweet’. But I’m glad I gave it a chance because after ‘listening in’ to the scent it became so alluring! It is definitely a lot darker than the original Princess, but still has that same sweet factor to it. The vanilla seems to hit me first, while weirdly, the fruits are what I smell last. The woody notes are a nice touch and add a mysterious sort of depth, reminding me of some vanilla scented forest!
    Overall, I enjoy it.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

First I thought it’s just a simple sugary raspberry scent, but I was wrong. I don’t know what happened, but now I can smell the woods and the flowers too. It is really a night perfume, sweet, deep and a bit dark, almost smokey.
If you hate the half-rotten apricot note in Jessica Simpson’s Fancy, try this one! This one has the same vibe without the bad boozy apricot and there’s sugar vanilla instead of caramel, but they are very close.

This was a blind buy for me and boy, do i regret it. I had serve morning sickness the day i dosed myself in this. I liked it at first but the smell just lingered and wouldn’t die down. It actually set off my sickness. I couldn’t wait to have a shower and wash it away! I’ve tried it again after having my child to see if it was my pregnant self hating this scent. I still hate it and it makes me feel queezy

I don`t know too much about `sugary` perfumes..Maybe because I try to avoid them as much as possible.I bought a sampler pack of Princess, Preppy Princess and Princess Night last year, and I must say even though I`m not into sweet, they were all soon gone..
This one has a sugar base note, but what I really could smell on me is the orange flower, berries and frangipani..It didn`t come out too sweet on me, neither did the other two samples, but I probably liked this one the best. In a way I was thinking to myself that this could be an alternative to YSL Belle d`Opium, there is a similar vibe to both of them, the smokeyness and fruitiness maybe, even though B`dO would still be a winner, as it is also inscensey and spicy. It has something of the original Princess` chocolate in it too, flirting with the other notes – it`s not even mentioned though?
Where am I going with this? It`s a pleasant scent for day or night, sweet, but not sickening, and even though it`s more for 20-somethings, I can still get away with wearing it in my 30s.

Funny but it only works for me in the summer. I think it’s a winter fragrance, but in winter it’s just smells sugar and a little hint of vanilla. That’s all, totally boring. But in hot weather I can detect the sour fruits, raspberry and red berries, even a little watermelon. The bottle is just gorgeous, I will buy it as soon as I get some extra money.

  22. :

    3 out of 5

I was bought this as a 40th birthday present, I think only because I have a slightly gothic clothing style that the bottle would seem to suggest went with that. But it’s a very sweet and rather nice cake of a thing, nothing of the night or dark about it. I like it, but it isn’t what the bottle promises.

Okay..not too bad! Tried this one today and it was pleasant. Nothing out of this world but nice. It certainly has been done before but eh, to me you can never have enough sweet scents in the world.
Couldn’t make out the watermelon note or sugar. What I did get from this perfume was a marshmallow-y raspberry which faded to a woodsy type smell with a touch of vanilla.
Nice for nights out for sure.

This is not bad but I was not impressed. I have the original debut Vera Wang and Flower Princess. Both are exquisite and very dear to me. I thought the name Night would mean they’d have darker accords even if it was just more musk or dark woods. This is a gourmand sweet fragrance not unlike the first Vera Wang. This is a vanilla powdery fruity floral. It opens with distinct red berries and raspberry. The only flower I could detect was jasmine which would have been the Tiare in the first Vera Wang. This is mostly subdued white florals and tons of vanilla. Sweet and a bit boring which is too bad because the bottle is so cool. I was hoping it would have been an evening cologne to wear as the night time equivalent to the day time scent that is the first Vera Wang. I wanted this baby to really rock with musk, woods and something sexier. Not bad though and another cool bottle for my collection.

Smells like D&G Anthology L`Imperatrice 3 and Victor & Rolf Bonbon had a love child. The watermelon note is throwing things off for me. I adore the watermelon note in L’Imperatrice 3, but here I find it a bit jarring in an otherwise creamy, darker fragrance.

I remember reading reviews about this perfume and a few of them said how sickly sweet it was, and that it was for teenagers, so I was initially put off, but I’m SO glad I bought it.
This is definitely one of my favourite perfumes. Like many others have said, it’s sweet and sexy at the same time. It’s the perfume I always go back to, for me I haven’t yet found another perfume that’s like it.
I don’t really get any of the scents other than Sugar/Vanilla/Hint of watermelon, but it works and it smells heavenly.

I’ve been wanting to review Vera Wang Princess Night for quite awhile now, and now I’m finally ready to give it a go!
Princess Night is easily one of my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time. There’s something absolutely enchanting and mysterious about this fragrance without it being too overdone. I get a delicious blend of crushed sugar, (which is almost burnt) deep vanilla, plenty of berries, jasmine and a delicate skin musk. Mmm… yes, it is just as intoxicating as it sounds! Now, I have to be completely honest about the bottle design. The bottle itself is gorgeous on display, but when you hold it in your hand… it’s a disaster. It feels rough, gritty, and tacky. The bottle was a miss for me, simply because it’s impractical. The dark specks of glitter stick to my hand every time I spray it; which is the only hold up! Another thing, when you smell the fragrance from the nozzle, it has a off-putting “glue” like scent that ruins the experience. So if you own this fragrance or want to purchase it, DON’T smell it straight from the bottle! Guaranteed, it won’t be pleasant. The scent itself is pure magic to me, simultaneously strong and soft. If you like sugary sweet scents with a “dark” essence that are long lasting, definitely go for it! It’s a well rounded and beautiful scent in my book. While some may be put off by the bottle, it’s the juice that counts! Give it a chance. 😀
    Scent itself: A solid 9/10.
Longevity: 7-8+ hours, depending on climate.
    Sillage: Moderate
    Would I repurchase? FOREVER! <3

The second time wearing it I went from ‘love’ to ‘like’. It is a fruity – sweet melange on me. I don’t detect specific notes, but rather an overall sweetness. It is okay, not something ‘special’ to me. I really like the bottle with the little crown cap though.

  30. :

I’ve owned 4 Vera Wang perfumes so far and I’ve given 2 of them away because they don’t last (bejewelled and lovestruck floral rush)….I also owned preppy princess which was nice but too similar to other stuff I have, so that was given away too . This one, Princess night I have kept because of its softness and longevity and how inoffensive it is. It’s a creamy sweet sugary delight. And I don’t think it smells similar to fancy (I have both and just to write this review I have sprayed them both on different arms). There is a small teeny tiny similarity but Jessica Simpson fancy is much louder and cardboard-ier…. haha that doesn’t make sense to anyone who isn’t me…. out of all Vera Wang wishy washy perfumes, I like this one and I’m in my mid 30s.

Got my bottle today in the mail. *Sigh* yes it does smell almost exactly like JS Fancy. At first spray it smells strikingly similar to Katy Perry Purr, then almost immediately it starts to morph into what smells exactly like JS Fancy. Personally, I prefer Fancy over this because it’s cheaper, the bottle is better, and Fancy smells better because of the caramel note IMO. This is my 2nd flanker of the princess line and I have to say, I think I’ll stick to the original princess because that one is the best of the 3 I own. The original Princess actually smells expensive and sophisticated compared to the 2 flankers, night and rock princess.

I’m 33 years old.*cough, cough slightly embarrassed face* Anyway, this was $15 USD, I couldn’t just pass it up! I know I may not be the targeted age for this perfume and that means nothing to me. I see an interesting looking perfume bottle that’s affordable I will get it. If I don’t like the smell I will give it away. That being said this opens up with what smells like aquatic berries if there is such a thing, mixed with sugar and vanilla and musk? It’s not a loud perfume, someone has to be close to you to smell it. But, it does smell good. A little like a body spray but wears for hours. And I do think it becomes more intense and lovely, not quite so juvenile a couple hours into the wear. For something with Night in the name this is not heavy in the least. I like it.
As for the bottle, I think it’s hideous. Looks like an arts and craft project where someone got a little too trigger happy with the sequins. And I thought the name tag would be metal, instead it’s cardboard. Would I purchase this again if I run out? For the price I paid? Hell yes! It really is a nice scent.
Months later….: I’m totally getting a backup bottle. This is just so good. Perfect fruity floral loveliness.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Is it possible for a perfume to smell how the bottle looks? Maybe not, but when I see the bottle I think ‘Darkly Dreaming Vera’ and that’s what I get from this perfume. When I did a paper-spray, I got the berries and a little watermelon. It was enough to make a purchase on a full size bottle (on sale mind you, I’m a budget buyer only!). Once sprayed on skin, it settles into a soft musky vanilla after a brief burst of fresh berries. I think I can detect the frangipani as a back-up singer. One spray to one’s decolletage lasts all day. Fast becoming one of my favourites.

  34. :

Got this in the rollerball and I am in love! It does smell a lot like Fancy in the bottle but develops into its own unique fragrance on my skin, it’s sweet and girly without being overwhelmingly so. Love love love! I would definitely use this mostly fall/winter because I prefer wearing fresher, floral scents in the spring and summer.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

i just tried Princess night and i dont know. I thought i would like it a lot cause of the notes but it smells sort of generic. its not bad and i will wear it happily but i was hoping for a LOVE not just a like.
Its very sheer alot like a body mist….in fact i have a body mist that is much stronger i sprayed it on my hand and i cant smell it unless i put my nose up to my hand.
it smells nice though…i give it a 7/10

  36. :

    4 out of 5

Juicy! This gives a very nice first impression of juicy fruit on a bed of vanilla icecream. But it’s a little more classy than that sounds! I really like it.
I notice similarities to Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique (which is great if you can’t afford Byredo) and resonance with the juiciness of Avon’s Imari Exilir. Overall it does a passable impersonation of La Vie Est Belle, while being rather more approachable.
However, Princess Night is weaker than those fragrances, requiring more product and regular re-application for full effect. I’m finding longevity to be poor, limiting its usefulness.
I wish it had more punch and staying power, because as a fragrance it’s rubbing shoulders with the best.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

I had this and it smells exactly like Fancy. Fancy lasts longer though so I kept my Fancy and sold this. Plus Fancy is cheaper too.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I have to amend my previous review as I had a cold at the time. Since re-trying this, I see that I had only picked up the top notes before. The top is fruity, but after 20 mins. it becomes milky, creamy, nutty caramel and sugar. I still don’t detect any musk, maybe vanilla. Deep and rich, but still a skin scent.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

I like this one. I had thought I’d love it, but I don’t. At least not yet… maybe the drydown will be better? I think this smells sweet, but not overly sweet. I think it’s quite similar to Police Dark.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

This smells nothing like Fancy. Sorry. It’s not musky. It smells like a creamy, berry pastry or cake. Like sweet sugar, vanilla and berries, with-out any tartness. It’s very light, a skin scent. I couldn’t detect any woods or watermelon. The glitter on the bottle is black, not dark purple. The rhinestones are purple. The bottle is really beautiful. The cap is metal, not that cheap tacky plastic. I was immediately complimented on this by a stranger, but could barely smell it on myself.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

You wouldn’t think so…. but yes… this smells just like Fancy by Jessica Simpson. Sad… I was so excited to blind buy this. I would love to try Pink Princess, Amazon has cheap 1 oz bottles… but…. I should finally listen to the reviews and accept that one has been compared to Wonderstruck– which I have as well. Damn….
I hope Princess Night develops something different on my skin. But my first paper test was meh.
It’s calmer than Fancy, if that one is too cloying.
The watermelon and spicy orange blossom most excited me because those would have made this unique… but no… I can’t detect either.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

Definitely a perfume for the colder months. I’ve had this fragrance for more than a year, but I never really cared for it at all until now. It is better suited for the colder weather even though it has hints of watermelon. The sugar and vanilla are the strongest notes, and smell very comforting.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I got 100ml of this quite some time back, and on initial spray, I liked it, but never really fell in love with it like I have done with other perfumes. (Say, Loverdose or Viva La Juicy for example.)
Fast forward about 9 months and I’m tidying up my vanity table when I come across this. The bottle is heavy and glittery and I really loved the feeling of it. It does look very pretty and does stand out amongst other bottles.
Opening spray – fruits, fruits and more fruits! It just smells SO good and delicious.
An hour later – Warm vanilla mixed with a cocktail of fruits. It just smells so intoxicating and sexy.
I wore this to work yesterday and I had several people tell me how lovely I smelt. I sprayed a little on a male friend who always reviews my perfumes and he told me it smelt divine. (He’s a straight male too!) and It’s one of very few scents that I can smell on myself as I’m working.
Overall, I can’t believe I let this sit for almost a year! It really is amazing. I will repurchase when I’ve ran out, although I’d probably stick with a 30ml as it’s not really practical to carry a 100ml around with me!

  44. :

I have owned this fragrance for some time and it just dawned on me that Jessica Simpson Fancy, smells just like it! I wore Princess Night that other day and while driving, I caught a nice sniff of it and could have sworn I had on Fancy but knew I put on Princess Night! Lol! I love them both, so I am not complaining!

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I really love Princess Night, but the first spray has a scotch tape hint to it. I would use it more often, but that note just turns me off (it makes me miss wrapping presents with my grandma, the world’s greatest gift wrapper). It only lasts a few minutes, so don’t let that turn you off.
    However…
Jessica Simpson’s Fancy smells exactly like Princess Night, minus that synthetic scent in the beginning.
Princess Night is super sweet and addictive. It’s cotton candy at a carnival on a humid night. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it, but it all boils down to how a perfume makes you feel, and Princess Night makes me feel fun, flirty-friendly, and bubbly. It’s hard to have a bad day when you smell this amazing!

Smells very nice. Not ridiculously dark like I expected. But the glitter on the bottle is more black than purple. I almost thought it was a fake when I got it because of that.

This one is elegant, floral, elegant, perfect for a ball or night out. It is musky, sweet, seductive, incredibly bewitching. I am planning to purchase this one very soon….

    Wow!!!
    Sweet? Check…
    Berry? Check…
    Gourmand? Check…
I have had this on my “want” list for many, many months, only for the simple fact that the notes sounded delicious, and I wasn’t able to sample this, anywhere….
BUT.. this is way too sweet and sugary for me… Very reminiscent of Pink Sugar, XOXO and Fancy….
However, it you absolutely go ga ga for those kinds of fragrances, then you’ll adore this!

  50. :

    5 out of 5

Transparently sweet red berries and a hint at something floral in the opening (rose?), a half-step above celebrity scents quality-wise, but the same type of theme, as anyone can tell from the notes. Longevity and projection are average. Wispy berry candy and nothing sharp or ugly.
The dry down does indeed smell like Jessica Simpson’s Fancy. Buttery peachy vanilla caramel with a soft plastic edge. I like it.

  51. :

i love this scent it has a quick blast of fruits and drys down to a creamy vanilla, smells wonderful.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

I really like this scent but it is very light. Very office friendly as you would have to drown yourself in it to bother anyone. Smells nothing like original Princess which I also like. For a change I can actually detect the listed notes. It’s like a light berry vanilla with a hint of white floral, sweet but not overly sweet. I really like it even though I myself prefer stronger scents but for someone who prefers lighter scents this is perfect.

I’m testing this one right now and I’ts not what I expected.. I was somehow waiting for a “sweet, sugar-candy explotion” but I don’t think Princess Night fit in that discription. Perhaps it’s suppose to, but on my skin it’s a bit “messy” and very mixed.
It starts very sweet, lot’s of vanilla and a some fruits, on me the melon are very noticeable. I don’t get much else in the first minutes, mainly sweets, vanilla and cool melon. Pretty pleasant, my first impression was “Mmm I like this one!”.
But after about 15 minutes my problem with Princess Night starts. The sweet and fruity smell turnes very berry. Not my type of berry, but pretty sticky, sharp, cloying and mostley a sour berry mix. Raspberries as a note can be both good and bad imo. Mostley it’s a young and playful note and can sometimes be very nice. In Princess Night the raspberries are sour and artificial (compared with Guerlains Robe Noir for example, where the berries are more genuine and playful) and the added redberries just makes this worse.
It might be a bad match with my skin since it sort of reminds me about my attempts to wear Escada Magnetism for men (which I can’t due to skin chemistry). Perhaps the woodsy notes and the poor berry mix ruins it for me, because it’s not a well composed vanilla, it’s only a sweet, warm, cloying and sour mess.
I wanted to like it more than I do, it might work on others though. On me it smelles cheap and very similar to Escada Magnetism for him, which also turns really wrong and nasty on my skin, but are lovely on others.
I’m sad to see it go, I really had hopes in this cute bottle 🙁

    Blah! What a disappointment.
I usually choose sweet and candy-like scents for cold weather so I got this one as a blind buy, perfectly convinced that this one was what I needed, misled by the superlative opinions written here.
I ended up with the bottle just sprayed for the first time…
smelling a tacky headache-giving common blend without any notes projected. I found it as totally undistinguished and unpleasant synthetically sweet misfortune that I had to send back attaching my excuses.

Princess Night is one of my all time favorite scents. On my skin, it’s mainly vanilla and sugar with a hint of warm, ripe raspberry. It lasts for hours and seems to only get better as the day progresses. If you’re a fan of sweet scents, I highly suggest giving this one a try. It’s a must-have for me!

It starts off with loads and loads of sweet berries and raspberries… I didn’t get much watermelon though. It’s a youthful, sweet scent but florals mature it up slightly, I think it’s very likeable. I smell jasmine, orange flower and rose mixing with sugary sweet berries. Sillage and longevity are fairly good and I like it more than I expected to 🙂

i brought this wanting to give it a try as i was bored of the current perfumes i had and wanted a change.
I have to admit i was plesantly suprised i really do like this one.
Its very soft sweet and fresh, on first spray i immediately get the spiced orange and jasmine then it drys down into the sweet vanilla and rasberry.
after the dry down i did get alittle of the orange and jasmine but not to the point where it spoils the vanilla and rasberry.
My skin chemisty really suits this my only dissapointment is that it just doesnt last very long its a shame as i really love this.
I would say this perfume is best suited for a younger generation or someone that is young at heart.
It is sweet but not sickly i would say its great for everyday wear.

The sugar In this is pretty strong. I really like this scent. Always get compliments. It’s an ray de toillette but wears like a parfum

I bought a few samples online for this one. I didn’t want to go out and buy a bottle of it blindly! I’m glad I did, because I can’t tell if I actually like the scent or not. At first when I sprayed it, I got a strong floral-oriental like smell, with a hint of something sweet like vanilla and maybe lemon and I think I smell like gardenia?. When it dried, I actually prefered that smell over when just applying. It had a sweeter softer smell like vanilla with wood and rose and some freshness to it. It doesn’t last very long on my skin. I’m lucky if it’ll last an hour. I’ll keep trying it because I don’t like how strong it is at first, but I do like the subdued smell after…I just wish it lasted longer! I wouldn’t recomend this if your sensitive to floral and citrus smells.
