I absolutely love this frag! This is one of my favorite office fragrances! This juice is simply amazing and I can’t get enough of it! Although, the performance could be better, so don’t be afraid to load up on sprays.

I have the original L’homme, which is my go to and love and this the L’eau (bought a small bottle being I was wasn’t sold on the intense version I gave away). As of late, I’m liking this one better. Great fragrance just to just put on and not think about it at a reasonable price. Will buy it again and give the L’homme a rest next time.

L’Homme L’Eau, is much more tolerable than the original version, due to the toned down iris/powdery notes. I finally got around to using a couple of samples that I had and actually enjoyed the opening and dry of this flanker.
As other have said, this flanker smells, light, fresh, and elegant, and would make for an excellent office cologne. Performance and projection was solid for the first 4 hours, and dialed down to being a “close proximity” fragrance by the 6 hour mark. Once you reach the 8 hour mark, the fragrance will dial back to being a skin scent.
Nonetheless, this is a very nice release if you’re someone that enjoys the luxury, powdery smelling colognes — which I’m personally not a fan of.
    Overall: 8/10

The L Homme line is overrated, too much hype. This is a little better made. Its fresher, a cotton fabric softener type scent going. I think the perfumer Andrier and the Prada house is obsessed with the iris and powdery scents, its getting old. This L homme line still has traces of the infusion line.

I actually like this flanker a bit more than L’homme. I feel like the ginger really helps cut down on the sometimes too strong powdery scent of the original.

Now I make no secret of the fact I love Andrier’s work but this whole Homme line has been a really slow burner for me. The original left me a bit cold, sure it was good but didn’t feel it making a lasting impression, the intense version was nice too but still didn’t captivate me. The one that did it for me was Femme, delicate and lovely but in keeping with the whole theme of this line, and even though I liked L’eau…I think I like it more because I just get them all now! Not that there was much to get, soft milky iris and warm woods and amber. L’eau is a touch fresher though, and does have white florals in here but again handled expertly by the perfumer. This is another one that will gradually give up its powdery secrets over time and no doubt charm me even more. I really liked it.

I smell lemony citrus and delicate herbs in the opening. It’s a clean scent that quickly dries down to the iris & sandalwood resting on the powder. What a beautiful combination. I’d quite happily wear this myself – it’s not overtly masculine, though the cedarwood definitely leans it in that direction. This isn’t a statement frag, but is inoffensive and safe with its moderate sillage and delicate aroma. Powdery fresh.

Nice, clean, crisp and fresh neroli iris fragrance. It has enough sweetness to keep the spicy ginger in check and just a touch of woody powdery dry down to soften the sharpness of neroli. Very positive scent for men who don’t need extra complications in life. I like it a lot and find myself attracted to it. It does not matter if I have smelled the scent before, as long as it smells good.

Tried both L’Homme (original) and L’Homme L’Eau at the same time, but somehow I preferred L’Eau over L’Homme original.
The longevity is OK, the sillage isn’t beasty but I think this is intentional (hence the name L’Eau). I own Dior Homme Parfum but it’s too overpowering in summer, so this L’Eau could be a great choice when I need clean yet powdery fragrance.

Absolutely love this fragrance, just makes you feel and smell good, compliment galore, nice fresh and aromatic to me- prada are amazing at powdery scents- prefer this to lhoome alothough I love both- 9/10 solid release

Do not solely look at the product’s name “Eau” and think it is a lighter, worse performing version of the Original. Do the testing yourself and find out. The votes on longevity are not correct.
I actually tested this side-by-side with Prada l’Homme. They are similar, but l’Eau is less sweet, less transparent and a bit more soapy and sparkly. To me it smells like a mixture of Prada l’Homme and Infusion d’Homme.
Unlike other reviewers have written about the performance, it actually smells stronger and outperforms l’Homme on longevity. Sprayed one concentrated spray on each arm. Both performed well the whole evening. The next day (around 12 hours after application) both were a skin scent. At the 12 hour mark, l’Homme was barely detectable and l’Eau was still easily detectable.
I loooove spraying this on my sheets a few hours before going to bed. Last night I sprayed this on my sheets, around 4 hours before going to bed. Even though the windows were open and the wind was blowing through the room for 4 hours, the fragrance was projecting very well. When I closed my windows and laid down in bed, I was enclosed by a divine cloud of freshness. When I woke up, around 7 hours later (note: this is 11 hours after spraying), l’Eau was still going strong. People that have performance issues are suffering from olfactory fatigue or are simply bashing the fragrance, without even having tested it.
    Scent: 11/10
    Projection: 9/10
    Sillage: 9/10
Longevity: 10/10 (12+ hours, even though it is a skin scent after 4-5 hours)
Versatility 10/10 (Soapy, clean, freshness, without smelling like a bar of soap like the Infusion line)
    Uniqueness: 8/10
    Price-performance: 9/10
    Total: 9.5

The smell is perfect, doesn’t give me that dark cookies vibe that i get from L’Homme and L’Homme Intense. If only the longevity was better …
EDIT: Omg i love this too much, just bought a bottle regardless of longevity issues.
    Overspraying here i come ! :)))

very similar to infusion d’homme.i like it. is clean. neroli, powdery notes and not many iris.little sandalwood and amber. is less citrusy and summery than original. 8/10 to verify the performance.is also similar to fleur du male series, cologne of love and castile penhaligon’s.
but i think with low performance.

It is soooo good.. The Opening on my skin reminded me a kinda fresher version of Dior Home Intense (iris and stuff…), then after 10 min it started to reveal woody powdery sweetens from Mugler’s Alien for women mixed with the soapy freshness and spiciness of the original Prada L’Homme. Til the drydown it gradually becomes more and more closer to the original but the powdery sweet florals are always in the background.
This is sweeter then the original and its absolutely addictive. My favorite from Prada.

So…my wife has been complaining that I switch frags too often and that I should choose a signature. I wanted to find something new that speaks to that so was looking toward Prada Carbon and found that I preferred my already owned Sauvage edt.
The Sales Rep sprayed this on a paper for me, and after being disappointed with the original l’homme and intense versions, I loved this (on paper). I went back and got some on my skin, when I went home and (30 mins later) got my wife to smell me, she said “Absolutely not – too perfumey”. ugh…
On paper, this was pretty standard male signature aquatic floral. Where others use lavender, lilac, or violet; Prada used iris. I’m more open to iris now, so I do want a light summer/spring iris freshie… I will now turn to Dior Homme Eau and hope it will please us both.
For reference, she loves Mont Blanc Legend Intense, Versace Pour Homme and YSL L’homme on me. I love all those as well but really like Prada L’homme L’eau as well. I have been treading more into floral territory, however, and I don’t believe she’s as open to it. Definitely try before you buy, and don’t expect the same vibe as the original or intense. It’s lemony, aquatic, and iris. The sandalwood softens the cedar in the dry down and I really think this would have been better received if they left it out.

Was scratching my head about this one thinking ‘What does this remind me of’ – Jedidja nailed it – very similar to Reflection Man. A bit more aggressive, less sweet, more obviously synthetic. I enjoy this one.

This is actually a very nice flanker Prada have here. I received a tester decant with an order of aqua Fahrenheit and to me its better than the original. OK, like everyone else is saying it doesn’t last as long or project as much but I don’t think it’s drastically a deal breaker. On me it lasts pretty much a full day turning to a skin scent after a few hours. The iris is toned down by the powdery notes which I actually quite like and it carries a more woody base which works for me as woody notes seem to last the longest on my skin. Could be a potential buy for me, I’m just drawn to this one more than the original.

I really wanted to like this particular line from Prada…but cannot tolerate the heavy iris notes that are used in every iteration. If Prada toned down the iris notes, and/or incorporated other notes to smooth out, and lighten the heaviness of the iris. The L’Homme L’Eau line would appeal to many more people.
    Overall: 5/10

Airy citrus, soft touch powdery, very present iris, fresh spicy and very light woody touch, I call it Dior Homne Sport cousin, hehehehe, with expensive price and weak longevity and performance, so feeling bad, ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA FLORENTINE IRIS is much much better to this one, I like the smell just I’m not happy with the performance

I tried a sample of this today. I’m really surprised that no one else has picked up on how similar this smells to Amouage Reflection Man (which I own and love). It doesn’t smell quite as nice as Reflection and nor does it have the beast mode projection, but considering it’s half the price then that is no surprise. The Prada offering retains the nice DNA of the original L’homme but softens it up with a flowery, powdery accord.
It would be really nice for the Spring but it’s not quite as memorable as the original in my opinion.
I have to give props to Prada for their current fragrance line up. Some accuse them of blatantly ripping off others (I.e. Luna Rossa Carbon = Savuage, L’homme = Dior Homme, etc etc) but I think they are taking winning formulas and adding their own nice little tweaks.

So, what I can say about this fragrance is that it smells amazing. Many people are saying it is lighter than original Lhomme. I think the reason is that the longevity is weaker than original Prada Lhomme. Although some say it’s lighter, to my nose it is actually a little bit sweeter off the initial blast. Original Lhomme has a much cleaner fresher fabric softener vibe to me, which I prefer. The initial smell of this cologne reminds me a lot of La Male superman. It is in that same sweet and fresh fragrance category. The original Lhomme is a little less sweet and more sophisticated. They both are very similar however. This cologne smells fantastic but it is redundant considering it is so similar to its brother. Prada Lhomme has better performance also, so I would just stick to the original. This really is a beautiful scent tho and I wouldn’t fault anyone for wanting it. If you like Prada Lhomme but want it to be a little sweeter with a little weaker performance, then this is your monster.

Weak weak weak. I was gifted this for Christmas and yes it’s a good scent imo smells better than l’homme, it’s powdery but more tolerable.
It almost smells like a cold tonic or grapefruit note on the front lines imagine sean john 3am with the powdery l’homme in the background.
Sad thing is it projects for 30 minutes and then within maybe 2 hours tops it disappears and that’s a shame and a waste of what could be a quality great fragrance.

Wow the reviews indicate longevity and projection are bad.
Prada l’homme the original is my longest lasting designer fragrance in my large collection. 18 hours with 5-7 hours of projection
This one I get 10-12 hours with 3-4 hours of good projection.
    So surprised to see this.
Anyway the original and this one smell more or less the same. If you had to pick one go with original you can wear that one anytime of the year in any situation and should last longer.

For Martin Sr. Not a review. I’m a woman and a fellow scent addict. I couldn’t decide which one of the l’homme series to get my husband and you broke it done simply and perfectly, thanks

Noticeable resemblance to cool water. This is a bit less aquatic and heavier on the powder. I like It.

I find it strange to come with aquatic fresh summer fragrance for the holiday season in North America. I find this one pretty generic or “it’s been done so many times”. I love the original Prada L’Homme. Used L’EAU for the last three days and still think that Davidoff’s Cool Water has more character then this one.
Boring. Surprised that they came out with this version so soon after the original, just to fill the shelves for the Holidays. Disappointed.

Just got this a few days back from the Singapore Changi Airport duty free which is about the only place you can get this at the moment. I tested this out today at the office and i can tell you this, its powdery, i would say the most powdery out of the other 2 l’homme lineups. At the top i can pick up a few notes, the powder note, the ginger and the iris. Longevity wise, it lasted a good 8 hours on my skin. Projects for the first 3 hours max and dies down into a skin scent for the rest of the duration. Sillage is pretty ok, a good arms length. If you already own the original you can give this a skip as they smell pretty similar to my nose. If you are deciding between this and the original, go for the original as it projects better and it’s less powdery if powdery isn’t your thing. 7/10 for me. Cheers

While Prada L’Homme classic is clearly a powdery iris scent for spring and autumn, and L’Homme Intense is powdery iris scent with some patchouli accent great for winter, L’Homme L’Eau is much more fresh and cleaner, beautiful balanced summer descreet office fragrance.

This whole line of Prada is blatantly “inspired” in the Dior Homme line. I will not be surprised if this flanker looks like Dior Eau for Men … quite frankly!
