    First spray
I can smell tea and freesia and ginger which come slowly. The ginger become stronger and there’s a hint of jasmine and something I don’t know whts tht (floral notes) after that the patchoulli come out with the strong of amber which make it sweet in the end.
Its a little heavy scent (ginger and patchoulli. These notes are not so intense so makes this scent light and wearable for daily work. Suitable for spring but the longevity poor (2 hrs).

Maurice Roucel is the nose. He knows how to create interesting and proper sweet perfumes. Why oh why Oriflame did not give the creator full permission to create a masterpiece? This is not even close to Alien Thierry Mugler, come on…
The only problem i detect is the pungency; it has interesting notes, lovely blend, but faint, not pungent and just not enough. It lacks power. That is Oriflame’s fault, not Roucel’s.
Opens with freesia and tea for two full minutes. Then it’s ginger and rose both; they will show you a soily side for some minutes. Initially I thought it was the patchouli developing but no, it’s still ginger and rose with tea. The inexplicable burst of patchouli; starts lightly minty and turns medicinal; do not worry though, we are not talking about a heavy patchouli perfume, relax.
Jasmin is ever so slight. Chypre? No; well it is kind of peppery in the drydown, but we cannot rely on a peppery drydown, in order to characterize it a chypre. It has amber and patchouli, but still; they are not potent enough for a proper chypre perfume. Floral? No. Don’t get fooled by the Jasmin, the freesia and the orange flower, they simply are not the center, or nowhere near the center of the perfume. Fresh? No. God no. Spicy? Yes, even peppery. Green? Only during a stage of its development, not a green drydown.
A heady perfume. Don’t try to stick your nose on your wrists while wearing it, it’s dizzying. Longevity is five hours tops, sillage and projection none.
Time to add the “I stand neutral to the perfume” button, Fragrantica.

I thought it’s heavy scent but it’s very light and fresh. Before deciding buying this one for my sister I ‘ve read all comments here and thought its a good perfume. And then I bought it very nice, pleasant scent, very light and disappear after 15 minutes. I try to apply too much but it’s not better. The Bottle is really cute and elegant but the name is not suit in this case.

first i thought it will be heavy scent , and it gives this impression when you first test it on ur skin, but after wearing it i found out it’s a light fresh Scent! um surprised ! it’S a nice one but not that strong & unique 🙁 i don’t even know what i feel about it,reminding me wz an ordinary summer perfume which i hated cuz it’s sooooo ordinary 🙁
update; oh yeah this still makin me disappointed every time i wear it,i can’t smell ginger all i smell is flowers, i think they shouldn’t name it power woman ! SHAME

It’s very nice and the name suits it. It’s not a pretty flowery scent. Someone said it smells like Avon Femme. Nooo way!!! I had both and Femme is for litle girls and teenagees in my opinon. Power is dark but not weird. I like it. The staying power is ok if you wear it for days in a row and don’t alternate with other perfumes.

Where is the “Power”? 🙂 Hmm In my opinion is just another nice and casual scent, maybe a bit boring. I expected something heavier, but that is also fine. I notice mainly green tea and ginger.Longevity is weak. ( maybe 2h on my skin)

the name suggested something different though

i like it sooo much, it s pretty, fresh and interesting for me in some way.l like floral, little bit oriental fragrances and l really enjoy that tea part. rose is perfect, also patchouli does.it raises up my mood and it is cheap .Orange blossom gives it freshness, amber and patchouli make it sensual, mysterious, like a three dots at the end. l give it five stars, l dont care about the longevity that much, is it not very long lasting, but putting it twice a day makes your whole day feeling like a “power woman”in the way of its sensuality, feminity, kindness and a piece of elegance.perfect

Personally I think this one is a pleasant scent, though the notes I detect are mainly amber, patchouli, tea, and ginger (and one other spicy notes but I’m not sure what), yet I detect no floral scent at all. So, I would think of think as a light, fresh spicy scent.. A bit less suited to its name since it’s ‘light’, but, oh, well. At least it’s not overpowering for me.

Simple floriental. Not extraordinary in any way. White florals on a light patchouli and amber base. I can’t really smell the ginger or the tea… Sits quite close to the skin, doesn’t last very long. Not very concentrated, quite synthetic. Not a nasty scent by any means, I just find it boring, predictable and too light for something named “Power”. And the jasmine gives me a headache.

This is a very nice, pleasant scent. Refreshing and elegant.
There’s not much going on with this fragrance on my skin though.
I detect mainly freesia, ginger and tea and the floral bouquet that’s in the heart of the fragrance.
Sometimes I think I’m getting faint whiffs of licorice, which is not part of the composition.
The name is not suitable for this fragrance imo. It’s too light of a fragrance on me to be called ‘Power Woman’.
On my skin there’s not much power, it’s just a soft, close-to-the-skin type of scent.
I really appreciate the smell, but it’s very light.
    ♥♥♥

Very, very Nice perfume from Oriflame. Really empowering and strong, gotta love this! Refined and lasting, exciting scent.
Update: Although this is a lovely scent, it’s a shame it’s very faint and vanishes almost immediately.
